@frostburn-shoto, I completely agree with you and I have nothing to add, except for my disappointment that Iida and Ochako indeed didn't receive any screen time (Iida at least, Uraraka is still there for the cute parts and to remind the audience that the Drku x Uraraka ship exists).

@chako-chip, Horikoshi (and Shōnem writers in general) can't write multidimensional female characters (I consider mha girls to have interesting personalities, designs and quirks, yet compared to their male classmates, they lack development).

Completely unrelated, but remember back when the original trio of "My hero academia" was Izuku, Ochako and Iida...

... but then it changed to Izuku, Bakugo and Todoroki?

There’s really nothing more relaxing than a day on the beach with your boyfriend of four months. The two of you were very similar in some ways; the soft, kind song that was your voice made people feel like you were tossing flower petals at their faces, and the lilac colored strands of hair that draped over your forehead made your face that much cuter.

So you could imagine The Look™️ on Izuku’s face when your portable speaker blasted an ominous growl, before you scrambled for your phone to stop it with a deep blush on your face.

“W-What the heck was that, Bunny?” His eyes were wide in shock, and his cheeks were tinted a faint pinks, similar to the one piece bathing suit you were wearing.

“I—I uh, I may or may not have a hardcore metal playlist or... t-two...” You mumble, pulling the phone closer to your body and closing your limbs on yourself. “Please don’t call me a freak.”

“(Y/N)! You’re n-not a freak! It was so unexpected though, I— I kinda got a bit s... scared.” Now it was his turn to crumble within himself.

“But you don’t think I’m weird now?” You ask.

“O-Of course not!! You’re my baby!” He beams, tackling you onto the blanket. “I just didn’t know my Bunny was a badass.” He says with a smile, leaning in to plant a soft peck on your lips.

“M-Maybe later, I’m still a little st-startled.” He smirks with a feign look of fear in his eyes.

It wasn’t rare for Kirishima to sit with you and your girl friends, but sometimes, he could annoy the heck outta them.

After a brutal sparring match with Bakugou(for training purposes, ofc), he was not only sore, but staaaaarving. Totally. Un. Manly.

And his food choices were wack; He smashed an entire bag of potato chips— Family Sized. (a mood tbh).

He had cracked open edamame for the past 5mins, collecting 10 at a time and eating the beans by tossing them all into his mouth and chomping away.

“K-Kiri..?” You say softly, your fairytail-like voice was like a charm for Ejirou; he felt Extremely Manly™️ in your presence, and loved the way you said his name.

“Yes, my love? Did you need something, Angel?” He chirped while wiping his mouth and hands off with napkins.

“B-Baby, could we spend the rest of lunch hour in my dorm? I have some leftover curry y-you could h— ahh!” You yelped as Kirishima lifted you into his arms, your belongings already packed up.

You’ve had him over before, but briefly as you changed for your internship at your agency. As you stepped into the dorm, it dawned on him that he never really studied your room. The back wall had a lilac to pastel pink gradient painted tapestry covering the whole thing, but right above your work desk, where you keep your headphones, was a tiny red light.

With further investigation— as you changed out of your school uniform and into lounge clothes— the fire hydrant cosplayer discovered it was a button to a rather large speaker.

It never occured to him that you had never spoke about music with him before.

“Are you gonna think I’m crazy now?” you say with a pout, your soft pink pajama blouse, and white pajama shorts creasing slightly as you crossed your arms.

The cheer in his voice and the way he lept into the air was no facade— He likes your music, too!

Setelah dipikir2, daku juga pernah mengabaikan chat dr orang lain. Alasannya selain karena masih ada kerjaan juga karena belum tau harus respond gimana.

Jadi sekarang saat ada orang lain yg mengabaikan chat dariku ((yg meski menurutku penting. Bukan chat abal nanyain lg dimana atau sedang apa)) its ok. Mungkin dia lg bingung harus nge-respond gimana sama seperti yg biasa ku lakukan.

Tapi masalahnya, aku susah menghilangkan pemikiran kalo dia mengabaikan chat drku karena menganggapku tidak penting. Menganggapku rendah. Dan segala macam pemikiran yg membuatku merasa tidak berharga.

Dan aku benci sekaligus bingung mengakui ini. Apakah aku harus pura-pura naif untuk menjaga perasaanku sendiri atau menerima kenyataan bahwa dia memang menganggapku rendah?

Entah yg mana.

Tapi aku ingin diriku tidak lagi harus merasakan sakit. Aku ingin diriku bisa bahagia dan merasa berharga meski ada orang lain yg menganggapnya rendah.

Al kamu ga butuh validasi dari mereka untuk membuktikan kamu lebih dari cukup. Kamu berharga meski tanpa validasi dari mereka.

Stop confusing fanon with canon. It wasnt bakugous bullying that led midoriya to believe hes only useful when he's helping others. Thats not an actual canon thing. Thats what fabon made up even though theres no proof of it in the series, and in fact its a result of midoriya being a good hero.

Here's the thing redemption is about doing good. You can do good and your victims still not like you. That doesnt mean your redemption failed. Bakugou and endeavors redemption doesnt have to be about being forgiven, its about doing whats right, and thats whats being shown they're doing. Trying to make things right by becoming better better people.

Also, its clear baougoubisnt horis favorite charactet. The fact that this kid never got any actual wins is testament to that. Or do you think beating class B is a sign of favoritism?

Also, its the entire class that wants to bring drku back, not just bakugou, so by that logic the entire class are now abusers and want to keep deku under their thumb

Because Hori has been pushing this narrative that Bakugo has "changed" even though Bakugo has done nothing to prove it, other than being slightly more willing to work with others. And even then, only on his own terms.

Bakugo still treats Midoriya badly, still referring to him as "Deku", which is not a cutesy childhood nickname, but an insult which means "Useless" or "Limbless doll".

He only told All Might that he bullied Midoriya, without giving the full story, which means that nobody truly knows the extent of what he's done.

On top of that, Bakugo blames Midoriya's self-sacrificing tendencies on All Might, when it's actually his bullying that led Midoriya into believing that he's only useful when he's helping others, which is every kind of messed up when you look at the latest manga chapters.

And spoiler alert: Bakugo leading class 1-A to bring Midoriya back by force? Not good. I have a whole entire list of abusive traits that apply to Bakugo's treatment of Midoriya, if you want to check my anti bkdk tag, and Bakugo searching for Midoriya so he can keep tabs on his victim? Not good. Not to mention, Bakugo has the entire class (aka Midoriya's first real friends) backing him up, which is isolating,and manipulating Midoriya to come back where Bakugo can control and keep him under his thumb; yet again, more abuse tactics.

Hori has this whole "show-don't-tell" kind of thing with his narrative, and it pisses me off to no end, especially when it comes to abusers like Bakugo and Endeavor, who are made out to be somewhat sympathetic, and their "redemption arcs" seem to mainly focus on their own individual pain, rather than their victims.

Also, I want to add that Bakugo is Hori's favourite character, and for whatever reason, he keeps winning the popularity polls so Hori can't exactly give him actual development, or else that'd mean losing readers (honestly, it's sloppy writing at best).

I hope this cleared things up for you, Anon, and I'm sorry about the essay, but that is the reason why I believe that Hori is going to wimp out, and probably make Bakugo give some half-assed apology and then go right back to mistreating Midoriya. I don't really answer asks like this as much as I used to, so please nobody come to my inbox with anti bkg takes.
