Do you remember playing in the dirt as a child?  Do you remember how much fun you thought it was?  Sure, it took a lot of time to clean up, and Mom wasn't exactly pleased with your knee highs that were made of mud, but you didn't care.  You experienced so much fun and got to be creative!  It was WORTH it!

Since I entered the world of full time student and full time CEO, I have been busier than I thought I could be.  There have been nights with tears and days with a zombified look, but every hour is a feeling of satisfaction and happiness and that this is where I belong.  Even if it is crazy.

The challenge of juggling all of my tasks throughout the day is stressful...and worth it.  It feels right, I am working hard for things I care about.  I would rather work 80 hours a week for something I care about than 40 hours a week for something I don't.  I would rather know I am making progress, even small progress, than standing still going nowhere but being where society expects me to be.  It's not easy but, for someone like me, it is right.

"Nothing in this world that's worth having comes easy" Another line from Dr. Kelso in Scrubs.  I can't help but share some of these great life lessons.  I've trudged through some muck and getting to where I am is only half of what makes it worthwhile, the other half is sharing my experience to encourage others to get in the muck.  Every time I have been in the mud (realistically and metaphorically) I ended up wiser and eager to learn more.  We should never stop wanting to learn and experience what the world has for us.  Keep that drive, ambition and curiosity.  And bring a towel just in case, because if you see a clear path versus a mucky one, I hope you look at the clear one and muck it instead =)
