it's so so easy to wind up with an absurd number of houseplants because when i walk into places and they have a charming little plant friend available for less than 5-6 dollars i say to myself Well that's basically the price of a silly little coffy beverage and i hardly ever get those and plants last a lot longer than a beverage so to my bank account this is just like if i had a moderate starbucks habit. and now i have thirty houseplants.

#not an exaggeration. i am out of room for them and yet unable to resist the allure of a little plant #this post is about my schefflera moondrop and also my rabbits foot fern and most recently my drimiopsis maculata which i saw and it didn't #have anything identifying it so i asked the lady if she knew and she didn't know and she called the guy who grew it and he said that's a #drimiopsis maculata and i did not know anything about it or if i would be able to keep it alive but it was $6 and in the process of trying #to figure out what it was i became quite charmed by it and she was $6 so guess what plant i have now. currently in the google dive of #finding out how to care for it and what it even is. i also got a beautifully variegatedpothos yesterday. sos #plant diaries #me
