As the drifter approached him, he started to smile:

"What's on your mind?", they asked him.

"Caught myself daydreaming about the big country house with the enormous garage."

He chuckles, slightly embarrassed but also happy.

"I wish I could share that dream with you"

"You okay?", the operator interrupts them. They looked so worried after they found the older still standing infront of the motionless Excalibur Warframe. It's been hours since they placed themself infront of him.

"ah, sorry. Didn't mean worry you. I was just... Daydreaming."

"About what?"

"About a big country house with an enormous garage."

In another reality, a darker minded Kintsugi chose a certain broody someone equally as silent as herself. Little did she know when the walls crumbled, they'd understand eachother on a level no one else could hope to fathom. Sweet and warm was their embrace as if they were meant to be here...

I think Isolra struggles with clothing outside of Duviri. The flowing/short/simple things are what they like the most and that seems to be a struggle to find outside of Duviri for them. They like the way it fits on their broad/large frame, the way it flows and is comfortable for long periods of time. Anything else is a bit of a sensory nightmare and the outfits they wore/wear on missions are the worst thing on the planet for them. Soft, pastel/light colored fabrics that flow nicely on their skin is everything. They put away the outfit they showed up in 1999 so it wont get damaged, they'll wear it around the mall sometimes, but mostly in their own space.

I think once they're together, Arthur like seeing the fabric flow like water over Isolra's form, wishing they had more fabric available to make something else than this one simple piece. He likes the sight of bare legs, bare arms, the sun tanned freckled skin of Isolra showing off when they're lounging around in rare moments of rest.

Drifter: *nods*

Arthur: *Nidus Maggots running around like crazy* I think I need to rethink about that.

I love the fact that the Drifter and Operator's eyes glow in the dark. Like, their pupils. It's so funny to me and I couldn't stop imagining it like walking on a cat at night and just seeing the glowing eyes. I don't think Arthur's a big fan. Man's gonna have a heart attack, one of these nights...

Thinking about Isolra dressing Arthur up in some more Duviri like/adjacent clothing for the sake of just wanting to see him in something else, something that is 'armor' that is basically a second skin. Having to pin and alter the flowing, light colored fabric because it's fit to Isolra's large frame. Arthur likes it for the sake of the soft look Isolra gets on his face, smoothing out stress lines but his eyes crinkling at the corners as they smile. Arthur sleeps in it, or wears it around Isolra's space (soon he starts calling it 'theirs' after Isolra starts calling it that first, almost without thinking). He much prefers the way Isolra looks in the flowing fabric, softer, like they're at home in it.

It's already established the drifter doesn't know a lot about stuff from 1999. I also imagine they like to mess with the Hex because of that. Like

Arthur: Can you pass me a pen?

Drifter: I'm sorry, a what?

Arthur: You know, a pen. Small stick with ink inside of it you use to write.

Drifter: I have no idea what you're talking about.

Arthur: What do you write with then?

Drifter: Oh. We have the scribble worm.

Arthur: The what?!

Drifter: It's a worm you put up your nose. It gets into your brain, messes around in there a bit before bursting our and puts what you wanted to write on any paper laying around.

Arthur: You're messing with me aren't ya?

Drifter: Oh absolutely. I still don't know what a pen is though.
