Oryx vs Atheon

I still think fighting something that can unwrite you if it really wants to would not go well, so Atheon would still probably win. But it’s entirely possible they’ll realize their desire to fight each other comes entirely from Crota being a little shit (”Your Taken keep getting in my vault and leaving goo everywhere!” ”You destroyed my throne world!” “We didn’t open the door, you idiot! You let us in!” “I did no such thing!”) and then they’ll stop fighting each other and Crota will be in double the trouble.

Crota vs Alak-Hul

Crota because Alak-Hul is an idiot boy and he does not think things through. And Crota has a throne world and Alak-Hul does not.

Cayde vs Eris

Honestly? Probably Eris. You don’t go through that kind of hell in the Moon and survive without knowing how to best a single Guardian in a 1v1 fight if you need to.

Dinklebot vs Nolanbot

Unpopular opinion: Nolanbot bc he was my first Ghost and Dinklebot throws me off Don’t make the Ghosts fight. They are friends.

[Lox] vs Dredgen Yor

I picked Lox for this because a) she’s my main, and b) because I’ve had thoughts about her and Yor recently and it makes this interesting.

Rezyl thought he could control the Darkness and make it work for him, and I realized recently that Lox has to be following a similar line of thought, with the things I’ve lined out for her so far. She knows she can’t control it, but she does like to think she can outwit it – she thinks she can out-talk the old, dead voices from the bones she wears and get the upper hand.

I think if they ever fought with Lox where she is now, there’s a high probability that Yor would win. For one, I would be lying if I said Lox never used dying as a way to get things done and she would be less concerned about getting shot by Thorn than she should be (which @sedimentarydearwatson discussed in this lovely post here and instantly became an idea i really love). But also Yor would start to talk and Lox would either start to listen or start to argue, but be thrown off her game regardless. And an unsettled, questioning Hunter with little concern for mortality because she’s never met a gun that kept her dead sounds like a relatively easy victory for Yor.
