Dreadknight Garen:

This skin is quite simple in concept and execution and I think it pulls it off quite well. It’s a classic “opposite” skin, and I think it successfully manages to ride the line between pure edge and dull boredom and ends up looking like something you might see in Dark Souls, which is a good thing.

The Ultimate 2018 Guide to FREE Skins and Champions on League of Legends

Some gamers have BIG bucks and they are willing to spend a ton on cool, rare and limited champions and skins… and who can blame them? Champion skins come in so many different varieties. They change the appearance of the character through the use of a color scheme (chroma), unique artwork and special effects (like sound and voice-overs). There are different ways for gamers to purchase champions and skins on League of Legends. Use Riot Points and Influence Points (earned during matches, win or lose). If you’ve earned Influence Points (IP), you can purchase champions from the Riot’s shop. They tend to cost between 450 to 6300 IP and sometimes a little bit more if they are brand new. Riot Points (RP) are different because they are only purchased with your credit/debit card, PayPal, gift cards (etc). If you refer a friend to LoL, you can earn free IP and RP.

But, there are other ways to get your hands on some of LoL’s 138 cool champions without spending precious IP or waiting forever to unlock them all. It is possible to get several free League of Legends skins and champions by following some simple steps. Just like a Facebook page, subscribe to a YouTube channel or follow a Twitter account and you will be well on your way to redeeming these free skins and champions and saving lots of money in the process!

General Information

Riot’s promotional codes give you BOTH the Champion and the skin that you can use for your specific region. These can ONLY be redeemed on accounts that match the region where the promotion takes place. Riot does not offer refunds for champions that were purchased before promotions started. Free Champion Rotations

One of the things we love about League of Legends is that we can count on a new list of free champions each and every week to be released by Riot. Before there were only ten free champions released each week but now there are fourteen free champions on Riot’s rotation list for gamers to play. The list of FREE champions gives you the chance to play champions without having to purchase them first. For example, if you own Ashe and Ryze, you can play Ashe, Ryze, and fourteen other champions that week. For anyone who is new to LoL, this gives you the opportunity to explore the champion before you commit and play every free champion, every week so you know what you like and if you’re willing to buy them. Don’t buy champions based off of looks alone. You could end up regretting the purchase when purchasing a champion that doesn’t match your playing style and what you’re looking for. A variety of free champions with different roles are announced on Monday every week for use starting on the upcoming Tuesday when they are released for free play.

Riot Girl Tristana is a free League of Legends champion and skin that you can access by liking the official League of Legends Facebook page for your server region (see below). After you like the page, you must follow the instructions on the screen to link your LoL account and claim your free champion and skin. We like the Riot Girl Tristana skin because of its hot new boomer and outfit which is based on a cosplay outfit. It’s pretty cool that this champion is featured with a whole new color scheme in her favorite color, pink. Riot has also updated her boomer with a yellow smiley face: the last thing your opponent will see before you they die! Redeem in just a few short steps! The Unchained Alistar is easily one of the hardest free champions and skins to obtain but it’s not impossible. Unlock the Unchained Alistar when you subscribe to League of Legends official YouTube channel and follow these simple steps. Choose the link that goes with your server and click “Subscribe. “ This will redirect you to Riot Games YouTube account. Be mindful of the fact that most Unchained Alistar redemption links do not work. If you run into problems with the links you are trying to access, submit a support ticket to Riot to redeem the champion and skin in the following way….

The Only One to Fear: Dreadknight AU

One of Garen’s worst fears come to life– Luxanna is reported dead after an attack from the beings of the Void. Grief-stricken, the Might of Demacia goes into a reclusive state as he researches for any means of combating further instances where such a tragedy would take place ever again. Hidden deep within the archives of Demacia’s libraries, Garen comes across the legend of the Dreadknights. The Dreadknights are a team that anyone can be recruited into… granted they can pass a test that will break the minds of anyone less than worthy to attain the coveted power. Garen, with nothing left to lose, takes the Trial of Dread, which includes walking through the Void and returning intact. He does so– his willpower overcoming the seemingly impossible. Now, the Void have something to truly fear.

However, the power eats at his morality. Anything that he sees as unworthy of existing is executed without trial. He exiles himself, only emerging when fate calls for him. He purposefully separates himself from all previous ties he had so he would never feel the personal fault of a loved one’s death ever again. His hatred for the Void is fed during this isolation, and now he is hell-bent on seeing it destroyed. Years pass. His name is forgotten by some, but not all.

Garen starts to discover that there is much more to being a Dreadknight than simply destroying legions of monsters; These long-forgotten knights are always teetering upon the edge of being a slayer of darkness, and an agent of the darkness, themselves. Now there are those who are experimenting with Void energy to create new, unspeakable means of technology, purposefully creating breaches within Runeterra to access and unravel their mystery.

This awakens a spirit of vengeance ready to rip and tear through any Voidling that would try and take advantage of these miserable fools.
