Ahhh! I love when people ask questions about Daniella! <3 1. So just a little overview of her elemental power, it's very similar to Lloyd's but she has the ability to separate it, at first with her Staff of Light from the Library, but with time and training she can do it on her own. However there are a few added things to her elemental abilities.

2. Like I said earlier, Dani can separate her elements, but she can also communicate with dragons. Not just source dragons (for the Dragon's Rising people) but all dragons.

3. It's just a variation of the Creation elemental power with the abilities to communicate with dragons.

4. She is the first to have this elemental ability, and for a time Wu thought that she would be the Green ninja. Lloyd as a different variation of it. Where as he is able to access both his creation and his Oni side, Daniella is only able to access her Dragon heritage from the First Spinjitzu Master.

5. Daniella did train Lloyd with the other ninja. At the time, she didn't know how to separate her abilities and did not have her Staff of Light (she didn't get that until the time between losing Zane and the Tournament of Elements in part 1 of her fanseason that I am rewriting actually). Her main focus when training her little brother was to rein in his emotions and not allow his emotions control his powers.

Okay, I feel like this has to be said before I answer the how powerful questions. And don't take this the wrong way because they are very valid questions. Yes, when I explain it, she does sound a little OP. And I totally get that, however, there are rules that Daniella has to follow. I made these rules way before I started working on her lore because I knew that there had to be a reason why Daniella doesn't just take over the realms.

So in my AU (I guess that's the term? Like the world with Daniella in it), there were two realms at the beginning. The Realm of Oni and Dragon and The Realm of Knowledge, which is where The Great Library is. The Great Library needed a protector for the villagers and the balance of the realms, from the various demons that originated in the darkness of Ethereal Divide. That is where the Purple Ninja comes in (what Dani is). The Purple Ninja is the head of the Library and the village surrounding it and travels between the realms to keep the balance and keep the demons at bay. There is a long line of Purple Ninja's before Daniella, and the last one was her grandmother, Liu (the First Spinjitzu Master's wife)

Daniella learns during the first part of her fanseason (between Rebooted and the Tournament) that she is the next in line from her father. Daniella travels to the Realm of Knowledge (through a Dragonvein, with is similar to a deposit of Realm Crystals) and learns how to be the Purple Ninja. However, Daniella is told that she cannot tell anyone about her job, because the secrecy is what allows her to be good at her job (also she's a ninja, the best ninja is the one not known about if that makes sense). Of course there are people that she meets along the way that learn of her job, but only because they are attacked by demons (think how people learn about hunters in Supernatural)

Now, the ninja themselves don't learn until waaay later during the time between the Oni invasion and letting out Aspheera and traveling to the Neverrealm. Since the Oni broke through and had left gapping holes through the realms into Ninjago, other demons came through, demons that were much more powerful than Oni (I'll get to that momentarily) Daniella tries to keep the other ninja out of it, but they wouldn't be our beloved characters if they didn't stay out of trouble lol. They find out and there is a massive fight once Daniella wakes up from injuries in the Realm of Knowledge. After that, the ninja help Daniella lock the Empress of Chaos (a goddess of Chaos and the ruler of all demons, the Overlord being her son and Prince of Chaos) into the Etherreal Divide and now Daniella doesn't have to keep the secret because the others have been exposed and what not.

Now then, that little lore bit being said, there is a reason that Daniella is so OP as many people tell me. For the longest time, Daniella was doing all of this on her own, protecting the realms and so forth, in addition, the exposure to the Realm of Knowledge boosts her abilities (the exposure is also why Bailey can use magic rather than having an elemental abilities like her brother and sister even though they are triplets.) However, there are rules as to how Daniella can use these abilities as well as Daniella having her own limits.

Daniella can't create new realms, nor can she destroy realms. Not with her powers anyway.

Daniella doesn't use the separate components of her powers (like lightning for example) if she is with the other ninja. She keeps them together like her brother in a purple energy orb thing. I actually don't know what you would call that tbh

Daniella does have a limit to how much of her powers can be used at a time, kinda like a battery. She needs time to recharge, however if she does overexert herself, she gets a massive migraine and could possibly lose consciousness. Daniella could be out for days at a time and evil never sleeps so she tries to keep herself from overexertion. Of course her stamina grows with training, but there is still a limit.

As Daniella is the protector of all the realms, she can't be part of the little things, nor is she supposed to have a favorite realm. Now of course, she fights with the other ninja, even after finding out her role in the universe so to speak, because Ninjago will always be her home, but she holds herself back to keep from messing with the realm so much (also the scribes of the Cloud Kingdom hate her because she cannot be written into their fates. But to counterbalance, they cannot help her unless the realms are on the verge of collapse. Almost forgot that part)

I mentioned demons stronger than the Oni earlier, and while I don't have a details hierarchy at the moment written out, there is one and the Oni are not at the top. At the very top is the Goddess of Chaos herself, the Empress of Chaos. Next is her son, the Overlord. And after that there are the Empresses Seven Generals, The Seven Deadly Sins; mortals made immortal and immoral in service to the Empress.

Now with that said, I do have one more thing to add with her powers and that is what it can separate into. In my AU, any elemental power is a component of creation, however it is only those that can be found in the nature world. So the main four (Earth, Fire, Ice and Lightning), water, nature (both flora and fauna), and wind. But again, it takes a lot of training for Daniella to separate them and mostly uses the combination energy orb like her brother, with fire being the exception when she needs light or warmth.

So keep all of that in mind as you read my answers to your questions. I've had a hard time sharing Daniella's lore with others because they get turned off by her powers specifically but never think about her lore and her role, and it really hurts tbh. I created her way back when the series started, back in 2011 (eww that makes me old lol) and she has changed, A LOT. But this is the story that I am most happy with. She has turned into one of my comfort characters and I'm really protective of her. So I will answer the next three questions honestly, but just keep what I said earlier in mind about her lore. (Sorry it sounds more like a ramble, I feel like I have to overexplain it to make it make sense)

6. In terms of the other ninja, minus her brother, she is more powerful.

7. In terms of Garmadon and Wu, she is more powerful the older she gets and the more training she does. That being said, when fighting/training, she can do a lot more damage when fighting her father Garmadon more than Wu, but that is due to his Oni nature.

8. In terms of her Grandfather, she is equal. In terms of her brother, she is more powerful in the beginning because she has had more training, but they become equals as Lloyd gets older.

9. Because her powers are a variation of Creation, they come from the Creation Source Dragon. (if there is one?) I'm not really sure about all the Source Dragons yet, I haven't done the research yet to figure that out.

10. Daniella loves her friends. Pixal and Nya become like her sisters as time progresses (after the love triangle) and Kai, Jay and Zane become her brothers. Cole is her significant other. They start dating right before Cole becomes a ghost, and sometime before the merge but after the second part of her fanseason, they get married. I haven't quite placed their wedding yet. Cole and Daniella also have triplets together. Daniella finds out that she is pregnant right before the merge happens and she raises them in the safety of The Great Library with Ozir (who is her second in command in the Library) and some of her friends in the village. The reunite sometime after the events of part 1 of Dragon's Rising, but I'm not sure how yet. I did know but that was before when they only had twins.

11. Daniella's powers started manifesting when she was 11, and her mother decided to leave her with Wu with false promises to write and visit. She is living in the monastery with her uncle when the ninja start to arrive to train to be ninjas.

12. Daniella was in Ninjago City helping with evacuations when the Bounty is crushed. And it nearly kills her when she finds out that the other ninja are "dead"

13. When I read family, I think of Wu, Garmadon, Misako and Lloyd. Daniella loves her little brother and her uncle unconditionally, even though she can be annoyed with some of their decisions. Daniella's relationship with her mother is rocky at best. Misako dropped her off on Wu's doorstep with false promises to visit and write, or even come back to get her at all. And then when they do reunite, Misako babies Lloyd like there is no tomorrow and Daniella can feel the favoritism. Lloyd tries to bridge the gap sometimes between the two, but Daniella finds it hard to forgive her mother. Now as for Garmadon. Before he was brought back by Harumi, Daniella was a daddy's girl, especially after the Overlord was purged from his being. She loved her dad so much. When Harumi brought Garmadon back, Daniella tries to get through to him, but Garmadon claims that Harumi is his only daughter and it breaks her heart. That is the moment that Daniella realized that her father was gone, and she doesn't treat Garmadon the same after that. Even after Harumi is gone and Garmadon tries to talk to Daniella, especially during the Oni invasion, she doesn't respond the way he wants. And when he tells her that he is her father and that she should listen to what he has to say, Daniella hits him with the "My FATHER, is dead"

I hope that answers yours questions as well as makes sense. I know that it was really long, and it didn't start out that way, but with the explanations, it got really long and kinda rambly. But all the information here is important to Daniella's story. It is who she is. Like I mentioned earlier, there were a lot of iterations of Daniella before this one and this is the one that I love the most. It feels like her. And I know that everyone has their own stories and lore and headcanons for the series, but this is mine. I have dealt with people who don't like how powerful she is even though they don't ask why she is that way. I have caught the third degree from Daniella being in a relationship with Cole (and like Geode shipping is so cute with Cole and Geo in the canon. Like how sweet, I love them a lot) but I made Daniella for me, and I want to share her stories with others because maybe it'll make some people happy to read about other people's OCs, I know it makes me happy. And I hope these answers have made you a little happy too.

But, I am rewriting her fanseason so if anyone has links to that on Ao3 or Wattpad, I think I might be deleting it soon so that I can reupload the new version without any confusion. But that won't be for a while so if you want to read what is there now, you can. But there is major lore that is different now that I am working into the new version so there is that.
