1) How many works do you currently have in progress?

Uhhhh

Actively being worked on? Only Paterfamilias and Zarzan AU are really being touched due to deadlines lol

Outside of that (in my personal sphere) I’ve got:

Chiaroscuro (kinda stuck in limbo as I try to decide if I wanna make a webcomic or not)

2) Do you/would you write fanfiction?

I used to write a lot??? I’m currently destroying myself with GBB projects

3) Do you prefer paper books or ebooks?

I’m so torn ;v;

I used to be hardcore paper book fan (and have a stupid amount on my shelves)

But screens are nice for reading in the dark

4) When did you start writing?

Oh geez, it’s been forever since I started writing. As soon as I knew how to, I wrote.

I’d write out and plan all these grand adventures influenced by the high fantasy feel of LoZ, and actually wrote several drafts of a story I wrote about dragons.

In middle/high school things got... Really dark, and that’s when I really dove into Star Wars and wrote a lot of gritty/depressing fanfic.

A mental breakdown later and I’m just getting back into the ropes of writing after a couple years of just focusing on art.

It hurt too much to write for a long time

5) Do you have someone you trust that you share your work with?

hONESTLY I’ll gush original stuff at anyone who asks (or doesn’t lol, I’m so sorry to all my friends on discord who’ve been subjected to my rambles.

Especially you, @theresiidentdevil I probably get annoying lol)

It’s RL I’ll get really picky with on sharing anything, I’ve been ridiculed enough to clam up about anything I’m doing

6) Where is your favourite place to write?

I’ll usually write in my bed, or at my desk on my computer (I have a nice spinning office chair there, it’s old and soft)

7) Favorite childhood book

Uhhhhhh That’s a great question

I think I’d have to go with The Last Dragon by Silvana De Mari (I’ve mentioned this on just about every tag game I’ve participated in lol) It’s just.. Good comfort idk why, but I read it a lot

8) Writing for fun or writing for publication?

Ever since I was little I wanted to write for publication, so I’m hoping I can hone my skill enough to be drawn into that circle someday (though I came close several times)

9) Pen and paper or computer?

Computer/iPad, whichever is in my hands at the time lol 

I used to write everything in notebooks though, before I had electronics 

10) Have you ever taken any writing classes?

Uuhhhh, I took a Creative Writing class a few years back (when I was still semi-functioning at college) and it was alright other than the fact we couldn’t write anything “Fantastic”. No magic or creativity or anything that couldn’t happen in “our world” so it felt kinda restricting, didn’t hit all those niche spots I’d hoped it would.

Nice teacher though, and it gave me a chance to write some more of Gilded Fang under a different guise. :3c

11) What inspires you to write?

I don’t... Know... I just kinda... Get a need to. Something will sprout in my mind and flourish and choke every other thought until I put it down on paper, until it’s outlined and noted and has somewhere to be stored.

It’s always just kinda... Happened. It leaks and drips from my mind almost constantly, even so bad as to throw my physical and mental condition down the drain if I try to stay away from it
