Warning long story about a shipping scam I just fell for. I am so angry. These two people mother daughter team really played me. I got two separate orders from two different people with the same adress. I combined shipped a earring necklace set out to a po box in hawii. Suddenly that box came back. The customer said nada to me until they claimed the package missing. Now I shipped this in a flat rate small box and this is where the scam comes in. Apparently the customer of the po box was able to open the package from the side. Because I didn't wrap that thing in tape. And then because the original seal wasn't broken they had it returned to sender claiming it to be empty. So I didn't know about this until today when I had a chance to talk to the mail clerk. Because my po box lapsed and they just sent it to lost mail because it was empty. The clerk who's a friend said it looked like they had tampered with it. So going back. The costumer never said to me that it had arive empty. Instead they were upset about not reciving the item and if I had not already said that I would find it or replace it I imagine they would have PayPal cased me. So I replaced it. It is extreamly important to have a positive reputation on etsy. One bad review can end a sale with another person. So this scam had me in a bad position to begin with. I'm out 70.00 from this scam. Be ware po box423 in hawaii. I dunno if I should publish all that info. I'm mad as a hornet in 8 years this is the second time I've been scamed. Many people out there are wounderful. I'll be taking steps to prevent this. Expect a lot more packing tape. It's frustrating because I'm paying for school and for the surgery I just had. And that 70.00 would have helped me pay off my debts.
