Amongst all the Tory-flavoured shite going on today in this apocalyptic heat, I had a moment of hope and magic tonight when Tom Riddle came on in my last @dragonfly_yoga_london class. My dear (favourite) yoga teacher @soulfuelly had added it to her teaching playlist and it was all I could do to not bloody tear up in my Warrior II 😭 It’s the first time I’ve heard a @1032music song in public (!), and I reeeeeally needed to hear the words that me, @lauraowenwright @megxcavanaugh and @singlilyrose loop in the outro: “We go high, they go low...” paraphrasing @michelleobama and reminding me, in the midst of ALL THE SHIT happening around us, that now, more than ever, is the time that we truly need to stand strong, speak up, show up, look after each other and rise up against douche canoes like @borisjohnsonmp @realdonaldtrump and all their schmuck fascist, racist, asshole counterparts around the world who seem insistent on dragging us all into the mud and flames.
