The words come before she can think about it, her body moving on instinct too. She wraps her arms around Hawks and brings him close, stroking his wings gently. He seems to be in one piece, but she’s worried about him. She wants him to be okay.

Ryuko presses a gentle kiss to his lips. “Do you want me to get anything for you?”

Don't ever get to close to a dragon's cave, for it will protect its riches and precious metals with ever means it deems necessary. And don't ever dare to steal from a dragon either- for its rage can burn down entire worlds.

He's a bit saddened when he notices how you heal so much faster, having regained the ability to fly again.

Your almost see-tgrough dragonfly wings are able to hold you in the air again, and he watches from afar how you begin to fly around. You're already out of sight when he returns to his cave, flowers laid out in his nest that be assumes was a gesture of thankfulness towards him.

He gently removes them, places them onto his piles of treasures as to not crush them by accident.

He turns and curls up, tries to rest, when he can hear your small feet touch the ground of his cave. You're back with a sheepish smile, walking closer to him with something held behind your back. His large head turns towards you, watching as you step up to him, climbing his treasures to get closer to him as yiu put something over one of his spikes on his head.

A flower crown.

It's a silent and small gesture, but he knows of forest Fae and their culture well enough to know that these things are only ever given as a promise.

He only thinks it's fair to return such a gesture, as he slowly turns, his dragon scales forming into skin, before he stands there, dark robes covering his figure. He's tall, way taller than you, and you can see the strength in his body even in a simple humanoid form.

And he thinks you might go now, that yiu simply thank him before returning to your village.

But all you do is pick up the flower crown to set it ontop of his dark hair instead. "Do you even know what you're doing, tiny thing?" He asks, and you simply nod, shyness forcing your gaze to stray away from him as you sway on your heels in a nervous manner. "You do not need to go this far to simply thank me." He says. "I did what was right." And that's where you cut him off.

"Its not that!" You say. "But I.. its not only a thank you, Jungkook.." you mumble embarrassed, suddenly feeling weird. Maybe you had overstepped the line? He probably didn't even like you all that much, just as he said- he just did what was right, he was just being nice to you. Dumb fairy, you think, as you take a step backwards as if to run off again.

"Am I right to assume that you're.. courting me, little thing?" He asks, and its the first time you notice amusement in his voice. You turn red at this, shrinking even further in on yourself as tears prick in your eyes.

"I.. sorry, I should probably go now-" you say, but he simply laughs- q young and melodious sound echoing off the walls of his cave, making you look up again at his face.

And the dragon can't help but smile a little, eyes shining a little warmer, as he simply bows a little, accepting your promise and gift.

A blush rushes to heat her face and Ryuko turns to look at him. One of her hands raises to touch aforementioned scales along her jaw, trailing along them thoughtfully. They feel like they always do, cool and smooth beneath her touch, and she blinks at Hawks.

“I...oh,” she says, and she gives him a small smile. “Uhm...thank you.” People rarely complimented her scales, and in general people didn’t comment on them at all. Ryuko was never sure if they thought it was because she didn’t like them or didn’t want them to be mentioned or just that no one liked them. The fact that Hawks did and felt comfortable telling her...well.

She gives him another small smile and reaches out to take his hand, lacing their fingers together easily. “Maybe later I’ll tell you what I really like about you.”
