This is now an AU with a Human Prince who has to prove himself worthy of the throne so is given the task to slay a Dragon (with the hopes that he wouldn't be coming back.) Well.... He doesn't come back but it sure isn't because he's Dead. Someone's using a sword that day and is sure isnt Adam

Disclaimer: English is not my first language so I apologize for any mistakes.

Daemon is not usually afraid, after all, he is a Targaryen, he has the blood of the dragon, he is "The Rogue Prince", he claimed Caraxes, he fought in tourneys, he was the leader of the golden cloaks and he fought in the war of the Stepstones. A fearful man couldn't do any of that.

But today he really felt afraid at Laenor's wedding. One moment he was talking to his cousin Rhaenys and then the screams were heard. Both of them quickly went on alert and Daemon began to look around the room for you because minutes before you had left the table to dance with one of your cousins. But the prince couldn't find you. Daemon couldn't remember ever feeling so desperate as he tried to get through the crowd of guests to get to you. Irritation grew in him every time someone bumped into him making it harder to find you. Then he finally saw you and got to the reason for all the fuss. Criston Cole was hitting your brother's lover without stopping and a few meters away you were. Daemon saw the determination in your eyes and began to call out to you, but you didn't hear him over the screams of the other guests or you decided to ignore him as you made your way to Criston Cole. You were barely able to hold on to one of the guard's arms before he pushed you away and you ended up on the floor. If it wasn't for Daemon's fear of you and the baby then he would have gone and cut off Criston Cole's fucking head for daring to touch you. But at that moment your husband's priority was the safety and well-being of you and the baby so he took you in his arms and carried you out of that damn wedding while you screamed for Laenor and Joffrey.

Now Daemon and you were alone in his chambers, the maester having left a few minutes ago after assuring the two that the baby was fine.

“I’m fine” you reminded your husband as he remained silent, probably thinking of everything that could have gone wrong. “We’re fine” you took his hand and placed it on your belly despite the baby not kicking yet.

Daemon caressed your belly before leaning down to place a kiss on it, thanking his son for being strong. “You were reckless” he scolded you, turning his attention back to you.

“I was,” you agreed, feeling guilty for not thinking about the baby, but at that moment, all you could think about was helping your brother and Joffrey. You couldn’t stand by and watch them get beaten. But the adrenaline of the moment was wearing off and you were starting to feel overwhelmed by the situation you were in. “I’m sorry. I never wanted to put our baby in danger.”

Daemon’s serious expression fell the instant he saw your eyes begin to fill with tears. If there was one thing he hated, it was seeing you cry.

“Hey, don't cry.” He took your face in his hands and began to tenderly caress your cheeks. “You said it, you're fine and you heard the maester, the baby is fine.” He kissed your forehead. “But if you're so worried about putting yourself and the baby in danger again, then I could lock you in our chambers until you give birth.” Of course he wasn't serious, but he succeeded in his purpose of distracting you.

“Of course you'd like to do that, you want to have me just for you.” A small smile appeared on your lips as you spoke.

“I'm not going to deny it, you know I don't like sharing you with the rest of the world, wife.”

You didn't know if it was Daemon or you who was the first to capture the other's lips. But it didn't matter, what mattered was that for a moment while you kissed and touched each other you were able to forget about the scare you experienced. Daemon and you took refuge in each other's warmth, ready to not let the night end bitterly.

Goddess Majora, Embodiment of Chaos. Also just a really large bug.

Below the cut is some lore + a little bit of me rambling about Majora’s design (and then a little more ab hylia)

Some Majora Lore

Not created by the golden goddesses but instead came to be from Hylia and Demise’s growing conflict with one another. After attempting to take Hylia down herself, Majora was then sealed away underneath the canyons of Ikana.

She would, later on at least, be reawakened by a still-mortal Ko’jin as Hylia’s seal began to weaken. She fled deeper into Ikana’s canyons and disguised herself as one of its people. Coincidentally, Ikana’s missing queen reunited with her people around the same time.

Ko’jin is chosen by Golden Goddess Farore to be her opposition.

Design thoughts

Some changes from her previous post, a more simple design so I can draw her more often. I really like her new wing patterns, mimicking phoenix (or peacock) feathers as a couple other deities do as well. She’s just a bit more obvious about it.

A lot of the deities, spirits, and other characters that answer under Hylia (or are allied with her) have diamonds in their designs as an homage to her as a common theme (FD’s dragon whiskers as an example). Majora just straight takes the pheonix feathers and runs with it. No diamonds on this damn bug, just pure imitation.

On that note, though, it makes me kinda wanna redesign her antennae to go further. But we’ll see how I feel when I start drawing her more.

Jaeger co-pilots Vherevin Lavellan (they/them) and Commander Cullen Rutherford (he/him).

I have some ideas for how this Pacific Rim AU works in a modern Thedas world under the cut.

Jaegers are powered by mages that use the lyrium in the machines to move it, and Templars that help keep the mage from "burning out" and to co-pilot the jaeger itself. Mages act as a sort of converter for the lyrium, almost like a battery, as well as the source of the machine's weaponry.

The first pilots were wardens, but both wardens would quickly burn out after one battle, and it was believed that it had something to do with the Blight in their bodies, as the first experiments with jaegers used Blight magic. The queen and king of Ferelden are two of the few warden pilots that survived a few battles before being forced to retire.

The wardens reached out to the Chantry who then submitted their Circle mages and Templars to be pilots, the Templars using their abilities to keep the mages from burning out.

Cullen is a Commander that has not successfully completed a run despite his perfect simulation scores and his abilities to lead and fight along side ground soldiers. Each time he connects with a mage pilot, they get lost in his memories, chase the RABIT and are unable to complete a run together. Cullen is also the only Templar that no longer takes lyrium, with many doubting if he'd be able to control a mage in the middle of a fight.

Vherevin is a Dalish mage and, like other Dalish mages or non-Circle mages, stronger than the Circle mages because they are trained to use their magic differently. "Hedge mages" like Vher are seen as highly dangerous and volatile, however it became imperative that the Dalish join the fight with the other races as they were losing the battle against the archdemons and the dark spawn.

Vherevin goes through many pilots, none able to handle the sheer amount of power generated by the mage, nor are they able to draw on the lyrium of their jaeger to help control the mage because Vher's jaeger does not have lyrium. Vher powers the whole machine themself, drawing on the stored magic they charge the jaeger with before hand in its four limbs, spirits, and crystal foci meant to build up magic and expel it in a focused blast (This is meant to mirror G. Danger being "analog"). When Templars try to reign in Vher's magic, their magic burns up the lyrium in their bodies, making them weak and useless from the sudden withdrawal attack.

Vher travels from station to station, fighting darkspawn and trying to find their co-pilot. Until they get to the same station Cullen is at. He is a considered a Templar in name only since he no longer takes lyrium, and Vher would not be able to cripple him in a battle. In simulations, Cullen has shown to be quick and level headed in a battle, and the hope is that Cullen can finish a battle fast enough to stop Vher from "overheating" the jaeger or "burning out."

Summary: A couple of months ago you were arranged to marry Aemond Targaryen. The Princess of the East they called you, somehow you fell in love at first sight with Aemond. But now, your insecurities come forward regarding the woman from his past.

Aemond was beyond confused.

Just that morning, you told him how you never wished to be his wife.

And now, there you stood, crying your heart out as you kept going on about Alys.

Aemond would be a liar if he said he didn't love Alys, he sure did. His relationship with her however had to end when his mother announced his marriage to the Princess of the East. 

Aemond broke off his interest with Alys the moment he was told he would marry someone.

He didn't wish to bring suffering to a woman. While he did love Alys, he knew his duty as a prince.

Then you arrived.

And what a lovely Princess you were. Much like him, you were reserved and he often found you with your nose in a book. 

Your beauty took his breath away.

You were much like him, yet so different.

Aemond learned that you were the fourth child in your family, meaning no one really took care of you.

All your siblings were boys.

But nothing broke Aemond's heart more than seeing you cry so much.

"I know you wouldn't even look my way if it wasn't for our marriage. I know I will be never her." you whispered the last part.

It made Aemond move.

He was now standing in front of you, he grabbed your hand as your other hand grabbed his wrist, afraid he would hurt you.

"I do not want you to be her. I want you to be you. Princess of the East. My Wife. As you are. I do not want you to suffer."

But it was clear, you didn't believe him.

And he was not blaming you for it.

Everyone often reminded you just how beautiful Alys is, how much Aemond loves her.

"I will not lie to you, I do have feelings for her, but I also have feelings for you. You are my wife, the woman I will live with for the rest of my life. I wish to have a great relationship with you. So we could try and be happy."

Aemond let go of your hand but you didn't let go of his. Holding his wrist, he felt you pulling him closer.

Your other hand came up to his shoulder and started to push him away.

Pulling him and pushing him at the same time. 

It was confusing. 

He was confused.

You could see it in his eyes.

"I want nothing more than for us to be happy. But I refuse to live in the shadows of another woman. Refuse to be a second choice because I know you would go running back to her the moment you would be allowed to. Your duty keeps you here, your mother keeps you here. If I cannot be the only one you love, I don't wish false promises of happiness from you." Aemond looked straight into your eyes, his free hand moved to remove his eyepatch.

He honestly thought you might get scared or disgusted but no, you didn't even blink as you looked into his eye and the sapphire which replaced his lost eye. 

"I want to have you as you are. You are my wife. You are my only love. I do not wish to have anyone else. She is the past, you are the present and future." he tried to take a step but your hand on his chest pushed him, while your other on his wrist pulled him.

It was clear to him, you were conflicted.

You wanted to be held by him but you were also scared of empty promises.

He understood, bringing your hand to his lips he kissed the back of it.

"I swear on my dragon's and my own life. I am not lying when I say these words to you, Y/N." suddenly your hand on his shoulder stopped pushing. Instead, you grabbed his shirt and pulled him close with both of your hands, arms moving around him, Aemond hugged you back.

You really hoped you didn't make a mistake by trusting him.

You really hoped he was not lying.

You weren't sure what you would do if you found out that he did.

But somehow, as his breath tickled your neck and he pulled you close, smelling your hair, you had a feeling he really wasn't lying. 

He will have you as you are, his perfect wife. And you will have him as he is, a great husband who promised you the sky and the stars as he pulled you in for a kiss.

Idea I had for a Dungeon Meshi swap AU

(Farcille and Chilaios fans why are we yet to make a swap AU where Laios x Chilchuck and Falin x Marcille swap.)

(P.S I only recently got into dungeon meshi like a month ago + I’m going off the anime and a bit of character facts from the manga so beware I might get some stuff wrong 💔)

Recently I’ve been cooking up (pun intended) this idea for a swap AU, ofc I love when ppl swap Falin and laios’s places but I wish they’d swap more characters and their stories, so it got me thinking about different possibilities.

what if Chilchuck and Laios were the ones that met in Magic school and become good friends? (for the sake of the AU let’s just say half foots live a bit longer so they age more similarly to humans). Chilchuck learned magic cause he didn’t want to be seen as weak or greedy for his race, which led him to getting miraculously accepted into a prestigious College for magic (which leads him to later learn Dark magic). It’s not his fault he befriended the “weirdo” human boy from said school and now has to save him (he’s worried sick he’s just emotionally constipated as hell).

Along with all this, after being saved from that spirit as a child, Laios realizes he has a love for monsters and what not; which later leads to his love for magic. When hes able to work with his little sister in their group as a Cleric, he was super excited to travel with friends and see all the monsters they come across, it’s too bad he ends up getting munched on by the red dragon.

Meanwhile Marcille is a half Elf for hire who was never able to master magic; And since elf’s aren’t known for their physical strength, she learned to disarm and detect traps. Ofc she probably had trouble with business because of this, but Falin and Laios found her situation super intriguing and hired her almost instantly.

Finally theres Falin, maybe after saving laios from that spirit as a child she realized she enjoyed combat and instead of going on to do magic she instead took a similar path as Canon laios and left home around 12 and later became the leader of their group. Of course while shes much more “mature” than Laios and is better at picking up social cues, she still has that weird fascination with eating monsters; she’s just way less extreme about it (guess it runs in the family).

Senshi could probably stay the same, but I could see him and namari swapping places (still deciding)

In this AU Marcille and Falin would actually get to develop their relationship some more and I think it’d be rlly fun for them to have this kinda awkward little Romance, like “hey ik your brother (and our friend) is getting digested rn but you’re rlly cute…”

Meanwhile Chilchuck is annoyed cause his best friend could possibly not be saved and die if they don’t hurry up and stop worrying about eating monsters and forming relationships (as he totally pushes down his feelings for Laios).

I really need to draw something for this AU, I think it’d be rlly fun.
