hey, i was wondering; what scent does the grand inquisitor wear? i was rereading to gain the horizon and pretty early on, brendol tells him not to waste his exotic perfumes here. thanks.

love this ask, ty! brendol mentions in chapter 4 that the cologne he leaves him smells like orris (a powdery/woody scented flower), pepper (specifically black pepper), and kibo (a sweet/heavy scented flower native to a GFFA which i hc smells like violet). two middle notes he cannot articulate are that of poppy seed and labdanum - the poppy providing a hazy, light, narcotic effect, reminiscent of the opioid it precedes - intoxicating but lethal in high doses - and the labdanum which supplies a leathery, masculine scent brendol cannot himself place, but is nonetheless drawn to.
