My entire relationship with rootspring as a character is me only liking him when he was an apprentice. I honestly don't even like bristleroot. But that last scene where rootspring goes looking for anything left of bristlefrost and only finding her dying dreams gets me every single time

#I should clarify her dying dreams are of just a nuclear family but its the emotional impact that gets me #rootspring just turns into another manpain character which we sure don't have enough of. I missed when he was kind of a funny pathetic #apprentice. he is only differentiated bc his gf double died and bc his gf's death actually forced the clans to change #at least they seem to be committing to not him and wrenflight being together. we can save you wrenflight #but also I kinda associate bristlefrost more with ivypool than rootspring. idk I'm connecting those antpelt and bristlefrost parallels and #dovewing parallels like crazy. shadowsight having survivors guilt in regards to his cousin. and then rootspring.
