“Li-Laing,” Madeleine greets, placing a kiss on his cheek. “I was under the impression that I would be the only one in Italy.” It’s a probing remark, wondering if the other spy would spill his secrets. The blond isn’t hopeful, but she can try, right?

             ❝  hi...  ❞  there’s an almost sheepish smile on her features the moment his door swings open.  it’s a little late.  and she imagines he might be tired from work,  but she isn’t looking for more than a little company.  sometimes the solitude can be a comfort for her.  but most nights it’s just lonely.  she likes how she feels when she’s around him,  though.  and she knows what it’s like for a lot of these agents.  they don’t have much of a social pool to choose form either.  smile widens as she holds up a bag  ❝  tacos?  ❞

I meant to say this the other day but , I am here to remind you that you are an absolutely badass, in everything you do. I know things have been hard especially recently, and that you often wish you had a break ( which you most definitely deserve btw), but you still find time in your day to be such a positive person and reassure others and show them kindness and I am in awe of you ever single day. You are such a warm person lia, you are so creative, so funny, beautiful inside and out, and you deserve some kindness too. You’re always reminding us to be kind to ourselves and now it’s our turn to remind you to be kind to yourself because you really do deserve some kindness. Drink some water, treat yourself, do whatever you need to do for you ❤️ we all love you very much.

Eve’s feeling remarkably fresh despite having had a heavy enough night that she’s ended up in bed with Li-Liang. Despite the fact that she makes a point not to sleep with coworkers, she doesn’t find herself feeling awkward as she opens her eyes and sees him next to her. 

Maybe it’s because he’s a lot more tender than she would ever expect from a double oh. She smiles at the suggestion, at the slightly nervous way he asks. As if sex between colleagues is okay but sharing a meal might be too much. “Please,” she rolls onto her stomach so she can watch him more easily, “though is it horrifically rude if I stay here rather than helping you?”

when you have all the power, time, and money in the world, boredom should not be present. But as Oryan finds herself drifting from year to year, decade to decade, things become dull. Secluded in her own little world, Angard dead, there is nothing left to live for. Fight for. When would death claim the vampire? Or would she be doomed to live for eternity?

Delicate fingers twist around the ruby red flame, watching it jump from pad to pad. Parlor tricks to ease the monotony of her mind. But even that grows tiresome.

Finding that she no longer wishes to be stagnant, Oryan impulsively flees her proverbial nest, mounting her motorcycle and speeding off into town. It’s the closest she can get to actually flying. A chance to ease the pressure of the world.

City lights, pedestrians, and buildings fly by. She goes recklessly fast, ignoring any signs of caution or protesting passerby’s. It’s a thrill, really. A chance to live on the edge. With murder no longer filling that lust in her heart, Oryan has turned to alternative measures.

Pulling up along a cobble road, parallel with the beach, she dismounts and walks along the sandy shores. It’s quite tonight. Still. Until it isn’t.

Commotion draws the vampire’s attention as she blends with the shadows, creeping forward. What is going down by the waterfront?

                                       dark eyebrows knitted together , as tj slightly tilted his head to the left side and for a moment kept quiet , as he just stared at the other , before there was a scrunch of his nose and he shrugged with his shoulders. „ guess , i’d rather NOT fight with you any time soon , shouldn’t i ? “ , he replied teasing , before he laughed softly. „ losing isn’t bad. i mean it is in some ways , but you learn pretty fast when you suck , that you take loses like a champ , believe me , i know what i am talking about. “ , the brunet added to his words with another shrug , before he grabbed the cup of coffee and raised it to his lips in order to take a sip from it.
