Hey I saw your post, I suffer from psoriasis too. I went to the doctors and they gave me a steroid cream thing and doublebase moisturiser. I don’t know if you’ve already been or not though. They did also say sunlight and vitamin d is super super good.

I put double bass on around 4-7 times a day because my skin is so dry and have been given steroid creams since I was 10. I have really severe psoriasis, it covers 99% of my body now to no exaggeration whatsoever. It is everywhere. Thank you xxx

thanks! and well, i dont know if this will work for you but it has worked for me:

it’s not really complicated, i really just use a soap and a moisturiser for the most part.

i use kojic acid (we have a friend who sells it to us at a bargain in the philippines) and i use it everytime i shower on my face. it’s basically my facial soap and the last thing i do when i shower. and i only use it once a day. it’s advertised as a “whitening” product because it has that effect and since it’s an asian product and that’s the selling point of many beauty products from there. but i dont think it really lightens my face and if it did, it wont last too long anyway since your skin will do its thing and revert to its natural colour. HOWEVER, it has really helped me with my acne and with pimples. i used to have a lot growing up but when i started using kojic, my face has been clear and less pimples occur. they’re like orange bars of soap. and when you use it, wash your face immediately. thats why i do it in the shower cause as soon as ive applied it to my face, i open the shower and wash. you can buy them through amazon or asian supermarkets

then when i have some pimples, i use toner and dab on them. i do this after i shower and once a day too. sometimes i dont use toner but i only do this when like the pimple is noticeable and i want it gone immediately. im not at home so i wont be able to give the name of the product but you could try some drug store toners and see which works for your face. but then again, even just kojic works for me

dont wash your face twice a day cause it could remove your skin’s natural moisturisers and will make you more susceptible to breakouts and stuff. i used to do twice a day when i had pimples, cause i was aggressive about removing them. but ever since i did once a day, it has actually done better.

then since kojic can dry your face. use a moisturiser. i use doublebase gel for my face. it’s sold in Boots at London so my family brings some here. but since i dont think its being sold in North America, you can use a moisturiser for sensitive skin or can be used for the face. Eucerin i think is the equivalent of it here. but yeah, this can be a trial and error process cause you have to know which moisturiser is compatible with your skin cause once you start breaking out, then you’ll have to stop using that product

also, i dont know if exercise or sweating has a direct correlation to keeping your skin clear. but ever since i’ve engaged with physical activities like before i was a competitive swimmer, and now i go to the gym. like after a day of exercise, i notice my skin clears up dramatically the next day.

also having a healthy diet counts. ditch the greasy unhealthy food and follow a balanced diet.

and yeah, i cant stress this enough, but STAY HYDRATED everyday for the rest of your life. the eight glasses a day is a myth. and the rule of thumb is to LISTEN TO YOUR BODY. as soon as you feel thirsty, drink water. thats probably also why exercising clears your skin cause you keep drinking water. during your workouts

so yeah, um, not sure if this will work but it did for me! so give it a try and tell me how it goes

Nielsen Study Shows Boost in Key Adspace Audience Metrics

In other Nielsen related news, Adspace is now included in the Nielsen IMS’ agency media planning system, “Clear Decisions”, the leading media planning system, providing improved measurement of Adspace’s reach and frequency of the network.

Nielsen IMS has created an audience ‘simulation’ of Adspace Mall Shoppers on the MRI 2011 Doublebase and TwelvePlus Studies. The MRI simulation provides Agencies’ media planners, buyers, and researchers with the best metrics available.

With the MRI data, Agencies’ media planners will now be able to directly compare Adspace’s audience reach and frequency metrics to other traditional media on a gross monthly ad exposure basis. Media Planners will also have access to all measured media, demographics, product/brand usage, lifestyle, and attitudinal data-providing direct comparison of all measured media on a teen and adult basis.

“The availability of Adspace in the Nielsen IMS’ planning system helps planners more easily measure the impact of adding Adspace to their broadcast and cable plans,” said Mr. Ketcham. “By delivering lighter TV viewers at a significantly lower cost, we are a great complement to these plans near the top of the TV reach curve.”

Earlier this year, Telmar introduced their Adspace prototype for agencies. Now media planners have yet another tool to access MRI data – through Nielsen IMS as well as the data through Telmar TNT.

What’s New in Esri Demographics (June 2017)

The June release contains demographic updates for the U.S., Australia, and 33 countries in Asia. Read more about these updates below or jump ahead to learn how these updates affect you.

U.S. Demographics

Geography Changes: While most geographies typically do not change from year to year, this release contains updated boundaries for ZIP Codes, DMAs, and Counties. ZIP Codes come from HERE’s Q3 2016 release. Warren County, IN was dropped from Champaign & Springfield-Decatur, IL DMA and added to Indianapolis, IN DMA. Wade Hampton Census Area, AK (02270) changed to Kusilvak Census Area, AK (02158). Shannon County, SD (46113) changed to Oglala Lakota County, SD (46102). Bedford city, Virginia (51515) has been dropped from the county inventory and is now part of Bedford County, VA (51019). The county name for La Salle Parish, LA (22059) was corrected to LaSalle Parish, LA (22059).

2017/2022 U.S. Demographics, including 2017 Daytime Population, are updated to represent July 1st of 2017 and 2022.

2017 Tapestry Segmentation data are updated to represent July 1st of 2017.

2017 Consumer Spending: This release incorporates the latest Consumer Expenditure Surveys (CEX), 2014−2015, from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) to estimate current spending patterns.

2017 Market Potential: This release incorporates Doublebase 2015 survey data from GfK MRI. This new survey has resulted in the deletion of some Esri Market Potential variables as well as some additions.

2017 Retail MarketPlace data are updated to represent July 1st of 2017.

2017 Business Locations and Summary are updated with Infogroup’s January 2017 business data.

2017 Major Shopping Centers data are updated with Directory of Major Malls’ January 2017 data.

Also updated were Traffic Counts and Crime.

Demographic layers and maps for 35 countries are updated.

For the Business Analyst and Community Analyst User

Business Analyst and Community Analyst users can access the updated data through reports, infographics, and maps. The complete attribute list for each country is accessible through the data browser contained in the application.

For the Data Enrichment user in ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Maps for Office

The June 2017 update provides access to the datasets shown above. For a detailed explanation of new or deleted attributes in datasets, see the Release Notes for each individual country available on the Esri Demographics documentation pages.

For the Developer using REST endpoints for Standard Global Demographics & Lifestyle Map Services

The REST endpoints for Standard Global Demographics & Lifestyle Map Services were updated in June 2017. These changes will impact any application consuming these services. Some of the changes to the underlying REST endpoints included in this release are:

1. Changes to the layer IDs.

2. Changes to layer names.

3. Changes to attribute field names, IDs, and aliases including additions and deletions.

NOCH EIN BIER! \m/

Aller guten Dinge sind 3, daher war ich für dieses Jahr auch bei 3 Konzerten vertreten! Hier mal der (mehr oder weniger) ausführliche Bericht der einzelnen Abende, die mir allesamt sehr gut in Erinnerung geblieben sind. Band: Sabaton Mit wem? Mumin und der Trierer Meute Wo? Saarbrücken (Saarlandhalle) Vorbands? Jep, zwei. Accept und noch eine. Man muss sagen, der Sound in der Saarlandhalle gefällt mir an sich ganz gut. Abgemischt war hervorragend, ein Lob an die Tontechnik. Die erste Vorband, deren Namen ich leider vergessen habe, war auch sehr interessant anzuschauen, vor allem der Typ mit den Elfenohren... Accept waren FANTASTISCH! Hat sehr gut gepasst und die Stimmung in der Halle wurde noch besser, als sie sowieso schon war! Sabaton waren, wie immer, sehr gut! Auch, wenn mir Panzerkampf in der Setlist wirklich gefehlt hat... Dafür waren andere Sachen dabei, beispielsweise Shiroyama, Night Witches usw.. Alles in Allem war es wirklich ein super Abend! Band: KREATOR!!! Mit wem? Dem CEO Wo? Wiesbaden (Schlachthof) Vorbands? Aborted, Soilwork, Sepultura

Wer mich persönlich kennt, der weiß, dass Kreator zu meinen absoluten Favoriten zählen. Ich liebe diese Band! So ist es auch nicht verwunderlich, dass ich die Tickets für den Auftritt schon EWIGKEITEN im Voraus hatte. Der Abend an sich war sehr interessant, Aborted hat mir jetzt nicht wirklich gefallen. Mehr als Doublebase und “KRACH!” kam dabei nicht wirklich rüber, und eigentlich bin ich da nicht so kritisch, aber in diesem Fall.. nä. Gar nicht mein Ding. Soilwork dagegen fand ich wirklich absolut bombastisch! Geile Band, geile Show, super Setlist - alles hat gepasst! Sepultura können bei ihren Auftritten einfach nichts falsch machen, gute Stimmung, gute Songs, klasse Performance, wie immer! Kreator... Tja, was soll ich dazu sagen. Sie sind eben meine Lieblingsband, dementsprechend ist es nicht verwunderlich, dass ich in der ersten Reihe stand. Es war MEGA, die Setlist war die perfekte Mischung aus “Altem Kram” und “Neuem Album”, die Stimmung war mal wieder das pure Chaos, Tod, Verderben - Kreator halt! Kein Wunder also, dass ich nach dem Konzert keinen Ton mehr heraus bekommen habe... Alles in allem ein wirklich GENIALER Abend! Band: Arch Enemy Mit wem? Arno, Mumin, Stephan und... ähm... ich habe seinen Namen vergessen. Wo? Saarbrücken (Garage) Vorbands: The Haunted, Lacuna Coil

Es war mir ein persönliches Anliegen, eine meiner liebsten Bands endlich noch einmal live zu sehen, trotz ihrem letzten doch sehr schlecht abgemischten Auftritt auf dem Summer Breeze 2016. Dementsprechend gespannt war ich dann auch, als es zum Konzert ging, natürlich mit Kutte und Arch Enemy-Tourshirt! Die Garage ist, in meinen Augen, eine der coolsten Konzertlocations überhaupt, dementsprechende Vorfreude machte sich bei mir breit. Da Saarbrücken zu meiner alten Heimat zählt traf ich dort auch zahlreiche Menschen, die ich noch von “damals” kenne, so auch Mumin, mit dem es seltsame Fotos gab... Die erste Vorband war “The Haunted”, an sich wirklich nicht schlecht. Vorher war mir diese Band gar kein Begriff gewesen, aber nach diesem Auftritt habe ich schon mehrere Male wieder etwas von ihnen bei der Arbeit gehört. Netter Sound! Lacuna Coil waren dann das genaue Gegenteil zu The Haunted. Ich muss sagen, mir persönlich hat dieses Geheule von der Sängerin ja so überhaupt nicht gefallen. Daher bin ich auch mit Arno zum Getränkestand und habe ein Bierchen schnabuliert. War definitiv besserer Zeitvertreibt. Nach dem Gejammer hat dann Arch Enemy endlich angefangen zu spielen, und ich muss sagen: Himmel, war das GEIL! Auch, wenn ich Angela als Frontfrau definitiv immer noch besser finde, war Alissa an diesem Abend sehr überzeugend. Die Setlist hat gepasst, auch wenn mir “My Apocalypse” gefehlt hatte, aber mit “Ravenous” konnte man meine “Enttäuschung” ganz schnell durch absolute Begeisterung ersetzen. Einziger Punkt, den ich an diesem Abend echt nicht geil fand: Das Publikum. Bis auf einige Ausnahmen waren ziemlich viele seltsame Menschen im Pit unterwegs. Normalerweise bin ich kein “Weibchen”, das am Rand vom Pit steht und sich nicht traut, reinzugehen, sondern eher das genaue Gegenteil. Allerdings war es an diesem Abend selbst in meinen Augen unnötig, sich da rein zu begeben. Nä, das musste nicht sein. Fazit: 3 Tage Stimmverlust, Nackenschmerzen und Müdigkeit im Anschluss - es hat sich SOWAS VON GELOHNT! Hirnkotze Ende! \m/
