ok so i had full paragraphs written out for both of them but i accidentally ctrl+z-deleted them 😭 so im just gonna try and summarise what i had.

kur<>tuna:

i think they are both interesting pairings but very different in how they're portrayed in canon vs fanon.

my opinion of kur<>tuna has chaged a bit over time, while i still like them and hid them interesting/fun in a shippy way, these two have some heavy lore that is left rlly ambigious that i wish was explored more and does allude to potentially rlly fucked up shit going on in their session past i dont know if id want to entertain.

alas what is a moiralligeance without some level of unhealthyness though? cant deny it adds flavour. these two definatly give me emotionally co-dependate vibes and while that probably isnt the best for either of them, what is there left to do while dead for the rest of eternity? as a relationship they would be so soft, kurloz in general i think would be so after the accident with meulin but i feel like the best part of being moirails for them would be to be able to wind down from the hecticness around them all the time, and to just exist with another person.

I also rlly the like themes of communication between them, whether it be through chucklevoodoos or sign language i think that it would be one of the few relationships mituna has where he can fully communicate with another person and be understood (and wouldnt feel the need to apologize to all the time). and besides maybe latula, kurloz is also not effected by his cassandra syndrome as a witness to his accident.

i dont rlly like ships being in spades where their hatred stems from another quadrant/quadrant jelousy that much 🤷‍♂️

i always feel like their more likely to ruin the other relationship before falling in hatred seperate from the jelousy and having a kismesistude focused on them rather than a third party, and then whatever hatred stems fromt that would be wayy to out of control and noone would wanna autipice between that. (if any of that makes sence i hope it does 😭).

plus like, i really dont like how abelist kankri is to mituna. and seeing it as mocking his diability as a form of pitch flirting/pitch hatred just feels rlly uncomfortable. it is very much punching down (at someone who already has to deal with cronus of all ppl) and i dont rlly like it srry.

i have read au fanfics based on alternia where they are <3 or <> that i really enjoyed! but again fanon characterization is very different XP.

i DO see the ex's box though and think that would be absolutely hilarious. mituna gets mad bitches XDDD.

Dire urdge to watch gohst adventures rn. I love gohst hunting shows that take themselves seriously. Gohst hunting/found footage stuff has been inspiration for my ocs for a long long time and I love thinking about my ocs and gohst shows cuz I know beth would absolutely hate them but watch them anyway cuz they make her feel smarter because it would reinforce her ego/the fact she knows more about the afterlife in the braces world structure than anyone else.

On the other hand I LOVE thinking about Reapers in this context because ghosts arent a really fleshed out idea in Braces but reapers have more development. they spend so much time on earth and some just love messing with humans. They're like, the original poltergeist. They love scareing people, throwing shit, shifting forms, whispering into ears when ppl are sleeping, shit like that. They'll just poke and prod untill they find what works, and if they get bored they'll pull out all the stops just to make their victims jump like smoosh their face through the door at night or appear at the top/bottom of the stairs and dart off. Thing is alot of of houses with reapers in them may gain a reputation for being haunted but the reaper probably wont stick around, like If a family member is dying or something that, the reapers probably just hanging around till they can collect the soul and go. So the house may have had all sorts of activity but it's gone if the reaper ditched.

Another thing I like is in gohst adventure when the main guy is like "I'm gonna piss off the demon in this house so I can get a reaction for the camera and wr can prove a demons in this house" because if this happens in Braces ur either

A) you are yelling at air and old wood

B) if this is a place where ghost hunting is common the Winchester manor for example? The reaper is just gonna learn what a camera is then its gonna fuck with you even more by causing easily disproveable phenomena. Like rolling a can on the floor off camera or tugging the camera mans hair. Or slamming a door down the hall of the room their in.

I'm shure reapers get caught on camera verry often because with most gohst hunting stuff you could probably pick them up easy. Thermal camera? Reapers may not always be visible to the human eye but they make cold spots and hot spots, so if they want to evade cameras they have to be fast wich most all of them are. Evp? You could probably pick up a reaper laughing at you or mocking you. Not all reapers are gonna pick up on what cameras are and stuff like that but what I'm saying is they love messing with humans and gohst shows probably do pretty well. Theres probably more believers in ghosts than normal and more evidence to prove the existence of supernatural forces but not all reapers like playing poltergeist and most gohst hunter shows probably arent lucky enough to find places with active reapers. Some reapers will make sort of shelters in abandoned houses or any area that could replicate a house (like a cave maybe?) If they decide they want a place to stay for a while that's just for them :).

The Wretch definitely made lots of temporary "houses" and I think she'd fucking explode if a ghost hunter showed up and started trying to provoke her, it work pretty easy shes got a short temper. I think shed cause alot of violent paranormal activity.

(Just rambling from this point ->) Note that reapers can touch pepole put it's like a shadow or fog It dosnt do too much. they can walk through you but you'll feel super sick for a short bit. Reapers cause hot/cold spots like goats are theorized to do but reapers are kinda like living hot/cold spots. Some are rlly hot on avrage some are rlly cold. If a one reached in you or walked through you'd start to feel cold and achey like you got a sudden flu, it kinda just washed over you in waves the longer they stay connected to you and if they hold you for too long you could faint (they can actively make the symptoms worse if they rlly try) but once they stop touching you the feeling will fade out and you should be back to normal pretty fast (if you didnt faint)
