I want to ask you, what do yo think about Dorozel (Dorothy x Nozel)?
Hiya anon 🥰!!
Personally I don’t mind Dorothy x Nozel, though I prefer the two as friends much more!
I can see the appeal of Dorothy x Nozel as a couple; i mean, he did tell her about what happened to Acier out of everyone else, and she can tease and joke with him without him making a snide remark or glaring at her (sure he becomes annoyed by it but it comes off as a different annoyed then with others).
So, I don’t mind them as a ship and can see the appeal, and have even written some headcanons for them! But they’re not one of my top ships if that makes sense!

Hey! Could you please write a Dorothy x Nozel fanfic, and could it be angst with a good ending?
I'm really craving Dorothy x Nozel content because it's an unpopular ship 😭
Thanks!
Hello! Thank you for the patience!
I was trying to think of something fitting for the topic, and this did end up being more angst than fluff. BUT I do promise you a fluffy ending. This time Nozel does the comforting
Pairing: Dorothy x Nozel Genre: Hurt-comfort Fanfic type: Oneshot Length: ~1.8k Contains: Very vague manga spoilers (spade arc), themes of self-doubt and trauma while growing up, my personal headcanons as to why Dorothy left the Witches' forest, bonding over parent trauma, Nozel comforts Dorothy, hugs and affirmations, Nozel tries
The battle in Spade. Devils pouring out from the deepest depths of the Underworld; the realm of creatures believe to be without a heart. Only that they did. Not that by the terms given by those dwelling on this realm, it could be qualified as one. But... it was a heart nonetheless. Granted that such hearts, such creatures, that were there to bring nothing but death and destruction for their own amusement onto the earth, which is why they needed to be stopped.
That had been why Nozel and Dorothy, among their peers, had been there. On that battlefield. To prevent that evil from spilling into their lives, into the world, their place of residency.
They went to war, so that they might live.
So that maybe, hopefully, both of them might live. Truly live. Not just be alive, but live. And while both their bodies still drew air, living ... that would be the next uphill battle. To learn to do that. To shed themselves of ghosts and corpses of past doings that still lingers around as ghosts. In the corridors, the shadows, painted onto the walls. Both in places that were hidden, and in plain sight.
For Nozel, those shadows were much more prominent, no matter how much he tried to keep them concealed. Because he was a proudful man. Someone who needed to upkeep appearances and walls so high they might climb all the ay up to the heavens themselves. A proper Tower of Babel, on top of which he might linger, away from the reach of all, but be punished whatever deity there was in the heavens that had stayed silent for all his life. Through all the choices he had to make all by himself, when there was no one to guide him. No one older and wiser to show him the way, but instead, he had to find answers for himself.
Answers that had proven to be wrong, in the end and through out the process of making decisions. A road he had travelled, but hadn’t known how to turn back either.
All the sins that he had been able to admit to Dorothy. Spill all the burdens that had laid so very heavy on his shoulders, but which had wound around his throat as a spell, to keep him from speaking out in the realm of the humans. But Dorothy wasn’t quite so limited. Because her magic had allowed him to talk and her to listen.
That was how they grew closer. First as colleagues, then friends, and then more...
She held his hand and tried to offer a shoulder, while having very little to say. Because how does one reply to all the things he had to share?
The things, for which he, and Noelle, had gotten a revenge. A retribution. A compensation. If one could call it as that.
But it was a way forward. A step into the right direction, now that he would be allowed to speak about it as well.
One step forward.
One more thought in the raging sea within his mind, as they walked back, after the battle. Into the sanctity of the Royal Capitol, into the Silva estate, holding hands. Their knuckles were pale from squeezing so hard onto each other, as if afraid that they might wake up from a dream, and end up into a nightmare that would be called as the real world.
“Nozel?” She whispered in a voice that was barely audible.
“Mhm?” His hum was just as quiet.
“I’m...” there was a lump in her throat that she swallowed. One of hesitation, of things she wasn’t sure if she should say, or not.
But she had already gotten this far.
They had already gotten this far. And now that he was freed of the curse, then maybe... maybe it’d be alright if she talked about it.
“What is it?” He asked, still squeezing onto her hand, partially fearing what she might have to say, and partially not daring to leave whatever it was unheard.
“I’m... I was thinking that since...” she still hesitated, which evoked a sense of fear within Nozel. A fear unlike he had never felt before. Because... because there was a possibility that she’d say something, about which he couldn’t do anything.
One can’t make another person love another. It is not something that can be forced upon a person, and thus... ought she say what he dreaded within the depths of his very soul, there would be nothing he could do about it.
And that would be a defeat after a victory. A loss that he couldn’t have predicted.
“I was thinking that since...” she started again. “You are confronting you demons,” she attempted to joke. “I might have to confront mine.”
He stopped, but didn’t let go of her hand.
She... has demons? Of her own? He found himself wondering as he stared at her with a look of disbelief, because for all this time, he had thought that he had been the one with troubles.
Sure he knew that she had left home for a reason to come to Clover Kingdom, but the reasons could have been many.
“You’re not the only one with a troubled parent-child relationship,” she attempted to joke again, but her smirk was laced with sorrow.
And it twisted his stomach. It made a wave of nausea wash over him, along with a horrid realization sink in. One that told him that he had overlooked the burdens of the one he held most dear, the one who had always been there. Helping him. Supporting him. Offering him a shoulder to cry on when no one else would. Or could, for that matter.
“And it’s about time I face my mother...”
“How-, was she ...” he tried, but the words died in his throat. Even though now that it had been brought up, he wanted to know.
No.
He needed to know.
He quite simply had to know. And if it was up to him, he would know.
“It’s not exactly an easy thing to hear...” she gave him a gentle smile that almost looked like she was pitying him.
She was pitying him.
Such a strange thing.
Because in that moment, that topic, that time and place, she... it should have been the other way around if anything. If someone was to pity someone else, it should have been the other way around.
“Tell me.”
She looked around the corridor where they stood, and it was only then he realized where they were still standing. Which was why he began walking further into the estate, dragging her along, nearly desperate to get to their shared bedroom as quickly as possible. But the ever-winding corridors felt so long. Far longer than in a long, long time. And he found himself praying that she wouldn’t lose confidence during the walk. During the minutes that it would take for them to reach the bedroom.
And as they got there, the door closed shut, he finally realized that he must’ve been holding his breath. Because he was gasping for air. His chest was heaving.
But as he placed his hands onto her shoulders, and looked at her, he was sure about the words he spoke: “Tell me.”
There was a pause during which her eyes flickered. A pause during which she seemed to question if he really wanted to know. But she could see no lie in his eyes. No hesitation. No doubts. Which was why her lips parted to explain.
“My mother... she felt a need to... try an make a couple of us improve our magics. So that we would be the strongest witches,” she began as her eyes fell down. “My sister... she had the ability to control the fate, which was why our mother made it so that she’d... need to control her own fate. She was locked away, pried away from the world in an effort for her to break out and take a hold of the fates that she was supposed to wield...” her tone was hushed. Quiet. Barely there. “In order to make her fate wielding magic stronger, she’d need to take a hold of herself first. That was how our mother tried to force that ability onto her. Force, specifically,” she emphasized. “And for me... Because my magic is that of dreams...” her voice quivered. “There are many ways to strengthen dreams, but my mother works through opposites.”
Nozel was almost sure where this was headed, but he didn’t-, dare finish the thought. Because the image of a mother was sacred in his mind. So this... this didn’t ... seem right. In any way.
“So my mother made it her mission to make my life quite the nightmare. Quite... literally. So that I would escape into my dreams,” she spoke with a tone that was barely audible. “It doesn’t sound like much but... you see... my mother’s magic can be... scary... The images she can conjure...” she paused for a while, and her eyes shifted around, as if she was seeing something in the space that existed between the two of them. “There is a reason why in Glamour World I have teddies and cupcakes and... all the things a young girl might wish...”
She paused again, for a moment that seemed like a fraction of an eternity.
But it seemed like she wasn’t capable of saying more. Not at this time though.
So, he settled in taking half of a step forward, and wrapping his arms around her.
“I’m here,” he whispered against her hair, while holding her as tight as he dared.
He wasn’t good with words, but he could do something. He could hold her close and tell her that he was there.
Because he was. And he would be.
“It’ll be alright...” he tried.
It was a clumsy attempt and he knew it, but- .... But he tried. And as she wrapped her arms around him, and squeezed back, he knew that she could hear him. That she could feel it.
That he wasn’t going anywhere, and he’d be there to listen when and if she wanted to talk more.
“I’m sorry you needed to bear through it,” he added, which sounded far too much like a rehearsed line for a manual of some kind. A dry statement said when other words failed.
But the sentiment of being genuine was there.
“You didn’t deserve it,” another dry statement, and his jaw tensed from how stupid it sounded to him, when said out loud.
“I know,” she smiled against his chest. “But it’s good to hear it,” she added as her thumb begun stroking his back over his clothes.
Not everything was exactly alright with the world. But... little by little, things were getting better. Things were growing towards a bright future. A future where they might be together, and well.
There might have been more demons to conquest, but... they’d do it together.

Sweet Anticipation
Words: 2644
Warning: Mentions of death (Acier Silva)
---
“Aren’t you excited to go to the marketplace?” an amused voice asked.
Young Nozel could only nod to his mother. The marketplace was a bustling centre of the capital city, with peddlers and store fronts eagerly tempting visitors. He looked around with interest, but his gaze wasn’t at the items being sold. He was looking for a specific person. His mother insisted on holding his hand in the crowd, perhaps half aware that her precious son might run off if he found what he was looking for - even if she didn’t know what it was. Unfortunately it was not until the end of their tour that Nozel’s eyes finally landed on a slightly younger girl with deep, glittering eyes and pastel-coloured cloak sitting on a bench. The young witch that he had been searching for was here! As if she had felt his gaze, her head turned towards him, and a large smile appeared instantly on her face. She hopped down from the bench and beelined her way to him.
“Hi!” she cheerfully greeted, stretching out her hand towards him.
“Good day,” Nozel answered in a polite tone.
He shook her hand, feeling the other secretly push a candy to his palm. The corners of his mouth twitched upwards just slightly. He was still young and slightly mischievous. If his father had been here, he would have never dared to do this - but his mother overlooked this kind of inappropriateness.
“How was the visit?” the girl asked happily.
Nozel stiffened a little, giving a warning glare. His eyes glanced just barely to his mother, who seemed to be looking at the meeting with great interest.
“It was fine,” he said shortly, trying to signal to the girl to leave.
They couldn’t hang out this time. His mother was impossible to send away, so they couldn’t talk freely. Oftentimes, when Nozel came here with servants, he would tell them to go fetch him something, and then talk happily with the mysterious girl. She claimed to be a witch from the great forest, and at first refused to tell her name. Later, he learnt that she was called Dorothy. She always had sweet candy to give to him. He didn’t know where she lived, only that she had a mother somewhere far away. When he asked if she lived on the streets, she laughed at him. Since she was so reticent with her answers, Nozel refused to also tell much of his own family. Unfortunately, the girl knew well enough that he was a noble. After that, it wasn’t hard to figure out who he was. Either way, the two of them had formed somewhat of a friendship, and occasionally the little witch would even defy the royal courtyard to see him. It was dangerous, but perhaps that was part of the allure. Their friendship was an innocent and reckless one.
Seasons passed on, and so did the years. Their friendship endured it all, and eventually Nozel became mature enough to understand that Dorothy couldn’t just live on the streets. She had to have a job, but she didn’t. He could not straightforwardly help her, since he had his own position to look after, and his father’s teachings made him slightly colder towards the plight of non-aristocrats. He didn’t know how to help. Her own attitude towards life had also changed from her cheerful childishness. Nowadays, he often found her sleeping or eyes half-closed, only smiling widely upon being woken up. He worried for her safety, but Dorothy always claimed she was the safest like that. She said her magic was that of dreams - nothing could hurt her as long as she was there. There was something deeply sad about that sentiment. Nozel couldn’t quite put his finger on it, but he felt a sharp ache in his heart. He paid for their food that day silently, without rising an issue about it, but he still felt that Dorothy didn’t quite appreciate his innocent wish to help. As he left, she placed a small candy to his hand nonetheless.
The more they grew up, the less the two of them could meet. Nozel was busy with his own schooling, while Dorothy acquired a working place. She refused to tell him where it was, but he was happy as long as they paid her. She assured him many times that she no longer slept on the streets, and had the money to take care of herself. So Nozel imagined that everything was fine - Dorothy had figured things out and could now earn her living. He mourned the fact that they couldn’t see as often, but the two took to sending letters. He’d address his letters to a specific inn, while she would sneak her letters somehow to the Silva residence. It was only much later that Nozel realized how exactly that was possible. That day, there was an accident while the food was being served for dinner. A dish was dropped, and many servants came to clean it all up, nervous under the cold gazes of the family. Nozel never paid much attention to the servants. He simply looked at his plate, trying to suppress a gurgling noise from his stomach. He had been reprimanded enough by father about not being graceful enough while eating. He glanced back at the servants, his gaze frigid due to his hunger. Yet a familiar sight made him forget it all: he could see strands of purple hair from underneath a servant’s headscarf, and radiant eyes met his for a moment. Nozel’s jaw dropped. Dorothy’s gaze fell down in an instant, and she seemed to be more concentrated on the cleaning suddenly. Nozel felt his heart thumping wildly in his chest. How could it be? He couldn’t understand what Dorothy was doing here. Was it a ploy to get the letter in? But surely then the servants wouldn’t treat her as one of them. Suddenly all the memories of the punishments the servants got for lazy work filled his mind, and for the first time in his life, he felt they might be undeserved. For the first time, he felt worried about them.
As soon as Nozel was able to, he drew Dorothy to a room alone.
“Why did you come here?!” he hissed angrily.
The look on her face was not pleased at all. It was perhaps the first time in a while that he had seen her so indignant.
“Where else was I supposed to go?” Dorothy asked with an angry smile. “No one else would take me! I didn’t have qualifications!”
“Then how did you get in here?” Nozel replied back, still upset by the development.
“You didn’t do it?”
“No!”
A confused look flashed on Dorothy’s face before her mouth turned into a line. She seemed angry and somehow…disappointed? Nozel didn’t quite understand that. Someone must have recommended her for the place, otherwise she wouldn’t have gotten it. Though he was young, he knew that much. The only other person who had that power and knew Dorothy was–
“Mother…” Nozel muttered suddenly.
Dorothy looked at him for a little while, then down to the floor. The sharp look in her eyes was fading into a duller colour. He could recognize the signs of her slipping away to her dreamworld. Sometimes when Nozel looked at her, he felt like at any moment she might disappear. She was like a dream herself; something you were only half-aware of, but chased after nonetheless.
“I need to go,” she said lightly, and turned away.
Nozel didn’t stop her.
The two were pushed even closer when tragedy fell upon the Silva family. Acier Silva, Nozel’s mother, fell gravely ill, and eventually passed away. Nozel was in the maelstrom of the events, having witnessed it, but cursed to not be able to talk about it. Fortunately he did not grieve alone. Though he couldn’t explain to Dorothy the situation, she seemed to have an almost instinctual feeling that something was wrong. It would be several years later that she would take him to her Dream World and let him unburden his heart. For now, the two teenagers grieved together, holding onto each other as the world crashed around the Silva family. The first few nights were restless for Nozel. He could not sleep, so desperate he was to have his mother back. It was only when Dorothy sat by his bed, holding his hand and speaking to him quietly that he was finally able to fall into a restful sleep. The sweet scent that permeated her somehow made the situation feel safe. Her soft voice helped him relax. Whenever he’d start to fret during the weeks, he’d remember that moment, and it would give him strength when his family could give him none. He made sure she knew it too. In fact, he told it to her multiple times, insistent on her knowing that she was important. After having lost his mother, he couldn’t bear the thought of losing Dorothy as well. She became his first love.
The two of them became lovers very soon after. Whether it was to heal their hearts or of long-budding feelings, the outcome was the same: a secret relationship that consoled them in their time of need. Though they grew in different directions throughout the year, they stuck together like two lonely leaves on an otherwise barren tree. They understood each other on a level they couldn’t describe to others and took care of each other. There was only one problem: no matter how much Nozel kept telling Dorothy how important she was to him, and no matter how much he could see that she enjoyed being near him, he couldn’t shake the feeling that something was off. He felt like she wasn’t quite happy with the situation. She never rebuffed him and would even seek him out as she had in their childhood, so he was certain he wasn’t forcing her to be with him. Yet a part of her felt like it wasn’t quite there, not quite in the moment. When he questioned her, she often blew it off with a laugh. It didn’t ease the anxiousness within Nozel’s heart. As a new member of the Magic Knights and the heir of the Silva family, he became increasingly busier and busier - perhaps this was why he never realised that Dorothy was in fact dissatisfied with her position in the house. It was only when he realised he himself was dissatisfied with it that he approached her.
“I don’t want our relationship to be a secret anymore,” he said carefully, measuring the expressions on her face.
Dorothy, eyes closed and in her dreamworld, tilted her head towards him. The silence seemed to speak of her unhappiness with his words.
“I know it’s not that simple and there’s lot to consider,” Nozel continued.
He hoped that Dorothy would open her eyes soon. He felt silly talking to her like this.
“I just want them to know that I have you - and that you have me. That we are together. I’m not ashamed of you.”
“I am your servant, Nozel, it wouldn’t be appropriate,” Dorothy answered bitterly. “You want them to know that we are together, because your father wants you to marry. You want them to know that you are not alone, that they can’t gossip about you. Well, they’re going to do so nonetheless.”
“I don’t want to drag you to gossip with me,” Nozel insisted. “I would feel like I am letting them take advantage of you. In any case, there’s an imbalance between us - marrying like this, when you work under me, wouldn’t feel right. I wish I could give you some amount of status before…”
His voice trailed off, as he considered his options. With a teenager’s optimism, he was certain he could fix this somehow on his own. He failed to consider that him giving everything to Dorothy might make her feel worse. He considered multiple options out loud, before Dorothy had had enough.
“Alright, Nozel,” she said with a crisp voice.
It felt like it was cutting through everything he had said before.
“I have given you anything I could. I come from a meagre background, but I offered it all to you. Could you spare a little thought for me and how I might feel about this? I don’t want to become yours like this. I can stand on my own two feet. I’ve stayed here because of you, but I think it’s time for me to do something for myself. It was wrong of me to think we could be happy if I catered only to your needs. It was a silly fantasy that only worked in the dreams I conjured for you. It’s time for me to follow my own path.”
“What do you mean?”
“I’m going to leave. Not indefinitely. We’ll be separated for a while, but I’ll be back.”
“What?”
“This is one thing I am asking from you, Nozel. The one thing. Let me go, and let me return. Dream of no one else meanwhile, give no one else your heart. Trust me.”
Nozel stared at the girl in front of him with a dazed look. It had been a long time since he had seen so much energy in her eyes, so much determination. Yet he didn’t understand what she meant, and he wasn’t sure if she’d explain. She was asking him to trust her. He could do that. He nodded, at first slowly, as if he didn’t quite understand - and then again.
“I’ll trust you,” he whispered, barely able to squeeze the words out.
He didn’t know what would happen, but he knew there could be no one else in his heart.
The next day, Dorothy was not seen in the estate any more. Nozel was left to deal with his slow rise in the ranks of the Silver Eagles and looking after his family all alone. The one light of those days, when he seemed to make more and more mistakes, were the pink letters that appeared every week. In them, Dorothy always asked her to keep his faith in her, and always wished him sweet dreams. He responded to them with reassurance, never directly asking where she was or what she was doing. He thought that perhaps she didn’t want him to know. He was too caught up in the Silver Eagles and advancing to become the squad’s captain to really search for her, though he occasionally went back to the streets where they had met. He never saw her there.
Several years later, Nozel heard a rumour that the Coral Peacocks had a new captain. For a little while now, he had started harbouring a guess that Dorothy might have entered the Coral Peacocks, but he had been unable to prove it. This new captain had apparently advanced rapidly through the ranks due to her special constitution and magic. A strange burning erupted in his heart the moment Nozel heard the news. His reputation might have painted him as cold and stone-faced, but at that very moment, an overwhelming curiosity took hold of him. He had not paid attention to the other squads all that much, but now he gathered all the rumours he could about the previous vice captain - now captain - of the Coral Peacocks. A mage with determination, strength and peculiar character. He told himself he was doing it just for information, but he looked for a confirmation that perhaps - just maybe - it was his Dorothy. As the Captains prepared to welcome the new captain to their fold, Nozel couldn’t help but keep looking at the door. He couldn’t stop this strange sensation of anticipation. Then, the door swung open.
When a woman in pink clothes and closed eyes stepped in, Nozel’s heart forgot to beat.
Those two brilliant eyes opened, and Dorothy Unsworth smiled at him.
She had returned.

Somniate
- a dorothy x nozel au idea (black clover)
Dorothy Unsworth loves to sleep. It's her only way of escaping reality for being awake is her constant reminder of pain, harshness and cruelty of life.
She loves to dream about things she knows will never happen in her reality.
Dorothy sleeps... and sleeps.... and sleeps, every time she has the chance to. She even has a certain spot she loves to sleep in. The abandoned cottage at the back of their school.
No one dares to go in there as rumours of ghosts stories kept on spreading among the students. It was said that a ghost lives in here but Dorothy doesn't believe it. The place is wonderful.
A small fountain near the entrance, flowers and butterflies surrounding the place, and at night, fireflies are all over the area. It was wonderful... almost magical if she is to answer truthfully.
For months, it has become her haven. A place she decided as her sanctuary.
Not until a certain silver-haired man discovered her place. A man she never thought that she could share her dreams with. A man that somehow gives her a glimpse of what living life... is.
i will go by their ship name of dorozel and no one can change my mind jk, but here's a modern era au prompt i want to write someday <3

Hii, i want to know your opinión about one of MY favs ships, Charmy x Rill, and Dorothy x Nozel, i love them, but i love you moree! 💞
Sorry.
Hiya! ^^ No need to apologize!
I know that I'm not a big spokes person for CCxCC ships, but RillMy (?) is definitely endgame for me. Like sure they haven't had a lot of interaction in canon, since I don't really count the time when Lira and Charmy fought (Lira being the elf soul that inhabited Rill's body), I do think there is a footing for the ship.
Charmy is very passionate, the same as Rill, and while it is towards different interests, I can easily picture them bonding over creation. While Charmy creates food (which I think can be classified as an artform; cooking can be kind of art), Rill creates paintings. But also I find it funny that their only canon interaction (that I can remember) was when Charmy was in her human form, and Lira had control over Rill's body, so it's not like they, kinda, know about each other? There's definitely a lot of potential to go about them finding out about each other. There is potential though. And I do think they'd be very cute together.
When it comes to Dorothy x Nozel (Dorozel??), in canon I see them more as friends, and their relationship to be platonic, but I prefer it over Nozessa. I know that there are people in the fandom who write both of these ships well, and I'm not a diehard fan of either, but when asked to entertain one, I am (atm) leaning more towards Dorozel. (Even though we know what's going on in the manga, and where one of them seems to be heading.) Dorothy and Nozel are both very secluded individuals, and while with Nozel it's greatly due to his own doing (granted due to the influence from the curse and general trauma that came with his character arc), and with Dorothy from her tendency to sleep all the time (and implied trauma relating to the Queen of the Witches). It also amuses me that both of them have a bird theme going on. Nozel with his eagle, and Dorothy with peacocks. Plus Dorothy sees Nozel's softer side, which also amuses me. And knowing how Dorothy sees him, would greatly annoy him. She would tease him to no end about this
Thank you for the question! ^^

Hii, i love dorozel (Dorothy x Nozel) ! and I want to know your opinión about this ship! I love you! 💞💞
Hiya anon!
I got a similar question about Dorothy x Nozel a few days ago which i answered HERE! And my opinion is still the same; I think they’re a fine ship, I can see the appeal and the reasons why people ship them, and I’ve even written for them a couple of times in the past, but they’re just not in my top ships that I personally ship 🥰!! I really love their friendship more!
I’m glad you like them though, they’re a really fine ship 💕!!
#asks#anon 🌟#thanks for asking!#i think they’re a good ship#they’re just not in my top ships 😆#but i can totally see the appeal in them 😌

4, 5,12, 17 and 25 for Nozel?
More Braidboy!
4. If you could put this character in any other media, be it a book, a movie, anything, what would you put them in?
Probably to one of Jane Austen's works. Yes, he has... less than redeeming qualities, but he does have a good heart deep down. He's a misguided man, who, should he find himself a partner, would need to be strong willed. And I think that he'd fit into Jane Austen's works. I'm thinking about the most famous one of them, Pride and Prejudice, but perhaps someone who's more familiar with her works, might be able to place him into another one as well.
5. What’s the first song that comes to mind when you think about them?
Okay so... I thought about making a fic based on this song with Nozel (or I planned on making it into a series)
But this made me think of him
12. What’s a headcanon you have for this character?
Oh I have so many angsty headcanons for him, but... lets try something more positive for him.
He has a sweet tooth. Particularly raspberry or cherry confection (chocolates). Catch him in his office on a Friday evening with his feet up, (if it's winter with wool socks on) with a glass of wine and a box of confectionery.
He would never spill that secret, because pride, but... he also wouldn't mind if it resulted into a spontaneous chocolate box and a wine evening....
17. What’s a ship for this character you don’t hate but it’s not your favorite that you’re fine with?
Uhh... Norothy? Dorozel? I'm not even sure what's the ship name for it, but Nozel x Dorothy. I don't mind the ship, and I don't mind writing for it, but to me they're more friends and their relationship is aching more to doctor-patient -type.
As said, I don't mind it. It's just not my favourite ship with Nozel. Personal preferences
25. What was your first impression of this character? How about now?
He was a cold asshole for sure, but there were some scenes even early on that made me think that there was more to him than just that. There was something about how he was furious about Fue being in a coma due to the EOTMNSs that made me think that he actually did care for a friend. That it wasn't a simple matter of pride.
And as the series went on, until present day, that feeling just grew stronger. Nozel is someone who cares very, very deeply, but he struggles to show it and speak it out. However, he'd to go hell and back for his near and dear, and is someone who is... self-sacrificing. His will and need to protect others sometimes is so strong, that it'll cloud his better judgement. Though one ought to also take into account that Nozel was essentially orphaned (I am not counting Papa Silva as a parental figure. He told Noelle what a disgrace she was! Papa Silva is no father. Just a sperm donor if you ask me), at the age of 15-16 and was placed under a lot of responsibility. He did what he did in order to keep his little sister away from the frontlines and the most serious of battles. Yes, his ways were misguided to put it mildly, but he did what he thought was right at the time. And I suspect that it was a plan that he came up when he was far younger, and felt that he needed to see through with it. "In too deep" so to say.
Nozel is an incredibly complex and well crafted character.

hi!!! hehe if i may, can i request a dorozel (dorothy x nozel) version of the “captains reacting to yamichar expecting a child” headcanon? like how would they react if it was dorozel instead?👀 thank you so so muchhh, i really loved your dorozel💖
Ooo Of course anon I hope you enjoy these! I’m sorry they’re pretty short but I tried to expand on them just a little bit 😅! Also I know I keep forgetting Kaiser but I don’t really have any HC’s for him 😅😭!
———
Yami:
• Would, like when Dorothy and Nozel announced they were dating, think they were joking.
• But when he saw the look on their faces he realized that they were just as serious.
• He would probably be in a bit of disbelief at first, he would ask Dorothy if she was sure that it was Nozels (much to Nozel’s anger).
• But after he and Jack gave Nozel a hard time he would sincerely congratulate him and maybe, subtly, offer to give him advice on fatherhood if he ever needed it.
Charlotte:
• She wouldn’t be *too* surprised by the news to be honest.
• She was partially waiting for it to happen, and considering Dorothy had been hinting at it for a few days now she had a feeling this was why they wanted to see them.
• She would probably scold Yami and Jack for their teasing of Nozel.
• She would also sincerely congratulate the couple and would be a little surprised when Dorothy asked if she would be willing to give her advice on being a mom, but Charlotte would happily agree.
Fuegoleon:
• Like Charlotte he wouldn’t be *too* surprised by the announcement
• He probably noticed Nozel acting a little strange and tense the past few days
• He even noticed at one of the meetings Nozel had spaced out and hadn’t heard a word of what was being said.
• He would congratulate the two and would offer to give any advice to them that he could.
Rill:
• Would be pleasantly surprised when they told them the news!
• Like he did with Yami and Charlotte he tried to do an impression of Nozel and Dorothy’s future child, which ended with Nozel’s signature glare.
• But Yami and Jack would find it humorous and asked Rill to do impressions on what Nozel’s reaction was when told the news, which again ended with Nozel’s signature glare.
• But Rill would congratulate them and told them he would paint their first family portrait for them like he did with Yami and Charlotte.
Jack:
• Like Yami, Jack thought they were joking at first like when they announced they were dating.
• Even with the looks on their faces he would think it was a joke, until Yami grew serious then Jack would as well.
• He would give Nozel a hard time about it along with Yami, but would begrudgingly stop once Charlotte scolded him.
• He would mutter congratulations to them while also complaining about picking up the slack once the child was born, but if he were being honest it didn’t bother Jack too much that he’d have to pick up the slack.

Do you have any ships with Nozel?
Hello~! ^-^
Unfortunately not 😅 But I've seen some flying about, so let's talk about them a little bit, shall we? 😉 (I'm excluding the couple oc ships I know, including my own, because *canon*)
Vanzel:
(Vanessa x Nozel) Out of the options out there, I like this one the best. They both come from unstable family environments, and are dealing with the aftermath in their own way. So, I think that there's a lot of room for mutual understanding and support. However, since we haven't really seen them interacting in canon, it's difficult to say how they would actually mingle.
But there would also be a bit of the opposites in them. Vanessa is more carefree, while Nozel is strict. This could be (or most likely would) one of the reasons why this ship wouldn't work, but I do think that they could both gain a lot from each other. It's all in how they would handle it.
Dorozel:
(Dorothy x Nozel) I can see why people ship these two. I really can. But to me, the events which were mentioned in canon (Nozel talking about Acier's death and the trauma that is associated with all of the events) were a way of Nozel lightening his load. As in, imagine having to bear that for YEARS alone, and unable to speak, even if you wanted to.
And then he realizes that he could talk to Dorothy, because Glamour World (as explained) isn't bound by the laws of the natural world. So, I imagine that the opportunity was too good for him to pass. But I imagine their relationship to be more of a doctor/therapist-patient type of a deal.
Gadjel:
(Gadja x Nozel) This was sunk by canon, but the ship is still out there. And it was a crack ship, because we don't see them interacting either. I'm not quite sure where it came from, but probably has to do with the comical value of two, very serious guys, who have trouble expressing their emotions, interacting.
Fuegozel:
(Fuegoleon x Nozel) Ah, the popular ship of the fandom. At least on twitter, I believe? I'm not sure where to begin with this one, really. But I suppose that I'll open with saying that I absolutely love their rivalry in canon. I love the fact that they have someone with whom they can compete, just like Yuno and Asta. And it plays to the rivalry theme in BC.
And I think that their, supposed, friendship is very important for the two of them as well. They might not sit down and talk about... nothing in particular that often, but they appreciate the other, and since they are both royalty, they can understand each other's point of view, in some matters. But all in all, I think that they're too different to work together as a romantic couple. I'm just not feeling the chemistry in there (the *that kind* of a chemistry).
And I think that if they were to date in some point, it would probably develop into a therapist-patient type of a relationship where they're not on equal grounds either. Though that's up for debate, I suppose. (But ofc you have to take into account that since I love Fue, I am biased about this)
Anyways, here are my thoughts on the ships with Nozel that I've come across. But, as said, I don't ship anyone with him hardcore 😅
Thank you for the question!

They're so funny! (Silva siblings being a mess, we love that)
And this is totally them 😂 I really hope Adrius can shoot well, because Heinry is just up for anything, sometimes not really considering. Giving poor Noureen a stroke.

A silly little project I was working on! These are all Next Gen-Nozel kiddos!
