Listen to Me, Not Them (Almost Human fanfic)

I love the show Almost Human so much (especially the possibility of these two falling in love...I love the ship so much!!) and I've decided to write some more fanfics for the show! Here's the link and summary if anyone is interested!

Summary: John Kennex overhears the other detectives talking badly about him, doubting his ability to be a detective after the raid, leaving him more affected than he wants to admit. When Valerie Stahl finds out, she makes sure that no one speaks like that ever again, and helps John feel better about himself in the process.

Working on a glow-up of this Almost Human comic I started almost 5 years ago to the day. I'm doing a rewatch because I've re-embraced physical media and I do have it on DVD. We'll see if I finish this time but I've got one page done and another laid out and partially inked...regardless it's fun to see how much I've improved in 5 years!
