on the 15, November 2016, a thread surfaced on 2ch, a Russian analogue of 4chan, featuring screenshots from Google Maps. Among them was an image of a forest belt or park in Rostov-Na-Donu. There also was a clumsily encrypted message: «Dismembered remains will be found approximately at this place. They have been lying there since about March of this year. The dismemberment was carried out there, on the spot. Go take a look. You will find it»

totally, there were several maps and ciphers of the same author in the thread.

the next day the author posted a similar screenshot, however a cipher was different from the previous one.

again — on the November, 17, screenshot with an accompanying cipher: «THERE IS A SEVERED HEAD IN THIS BASEMENT AND A SET OF CLOTHES AS WELL AS SOME SKELETAL REMAINS YOU WILL FIND».

During 3 weeks new threads appeared:

- «THE KILLER'S NICKNAME IS THE MARCHING SIGNS THE SCAR ON HIS LOWER LIP»

- «THE PURCHASED REMAINS HAVE BEEN MOVED HERE»

- «THE KILLER DUMPED THE HEAD HERE A MONTH AGO»

- «BURIAL SITES OF SOME REMAINS»

- «THE LAST TIME THE MARCHING WAS SEEN IN THIS AREA»

- «THE BANK WHERE THE MARCHING RECEIVED MONEY FROM SHCHIGOLEV»

- «SOMEWHERE IN ONE OF THESE GARAGES, THE REMAINS ARE BEING DISPOSED OF AND UNLOADED FROM A PASSENGER CAR LATE AT NIGHT»

these encrypted posts were appearing till 2018

who is the author of these threads? who is «the marching»? this case is still unsolved: some people think it is an art project, some thinks it is a joke and some assume the author clearly has problems with mental health.

however there are some details about the author. Let me know if u want some more information about the «Rostov case».
