Young Masriel au [part 4: Fair Isle hideaway] > In which Marisa tries to convince herself this thing between her and Asriel is just some temporary lapse of judgement and she's still in full control of what's happening. Her daemon, on the other hand, knows things have been heavily spiralling out of control and she might be in deeper trouble than she realizes. This shabby little house Asriel suggested, hidden away somewhere near the German coast, is just a matter of convenience. It's not like she actually likes the place. It's dirty and full of unnecessary stuff no one in their right mind would ever purchase. Sometimes though, she's overcome with an unfamiliar, warm sensation washing over her when she's alone with him here. She despises it, and quickly pushes it away before it can take hold of her.
