Fun Fact and History Lesson!

The 'no beta we die like [character]' originated from this damn photo that went viral on Tumblr in 2016 and changed Ao3 tags and fanfic vernacular forever.

Meaning: it's a tag used on fics that were not beta read (the author didn't get someone to read it for them before posting). Betas read fics to check for spelling, grammar, consistently, etc and often edit it.

Similarly, 'Dead dove' or 'dead dove do not eat' is from this scene in Arrested Development.

Meaning: if there's a warning of something really dark/bad, don't open/read it and expect something different. Or: 'mind the tags this is dark, don't read if you don't like it'.

Underrated early Rikma moment;

When Miriam bought that locket from the store and made a whole scene about Zane having to kiss her so he could give it to Rikki, only for her to throw it in the water after- Like I know he is the one that got it out, and it was a sweet and romantic moment between them... but I can't get over the fact that Emma immediately jumped in to go grab it despite there being so many people around and the risks involved. Cleo litterly told Rikki to try and stop Zane cause Emma was underwater looking for it. Like ??? 🥺 🥺 Emma was being so, so uncharacteristically reckless about the whole thing?

Anyways that's what's going on in my brain today, and I'm having many feelings about it...

Okey so- it’s a but messy and hope you can understand my handwriting but here’s some info in the weapons that Cloudy uses, I may or may not add more in the future. I don’t know how to draw a weapon properly and I needed too much inspiration and motivation for this thing.

If you remember I put in the ref sheet of Cloudy that she doesn’t use her powers and because of that she doesn’t know how to use them properly or in a safe way and so for compensate that she uses weapons, or at least most of the time she does. Even tho her main weapon is her scythe she also uses other weapons and a bit of close combat without her weapons (this was suggested by Wipin). The thing here is that since she becomes too dependent on her weapons, when she doesn’t have them she can be in a big disadvantage.

Something that I didn’t mention before is that her weapons are placed in different parts of her coat but not only weapons, also first aid items and some snack which I may make a drawing later. And disadvantage of this is that her coat is heavy and limit movement but is worth it.
