steve who got a lower back tattoo on a drunken dare in his late 20s and forgets it's there most of the time. steve who stretches one night at a party and his shirt rides up exposing the swirling lines that peek out from under his belt line. steve who doesn't think anything of it and forgets to pull his shirt back down as he leans forward on the couch while talking with the group, basking in the welcomed burn of a certain pair of eyes locked on him.

eddie who's sitting next to him, gripping the back of the couch cushion where his arm is slung around his long term crush like it's the only tether he has to planet earth because not only does steve have a tattoo, but it's right there. eddie who takes in a shuddering breath and can't pull his gaze away from the ink that spreads low over tanned skin that he longs to explore. eddie who digs his other hand into his knee to keep it from doing anything stupid like running his fingers over the tattoo or pulling steve up to go to the spare bedroom.

steve who shoots frozen-in-place eddie a knowing smirk after a few seconds as he leans over even further before standing up and holding out his hand in invitation anyway. eddie who finds out later in the night that he doesn't have to wonder what the tattoo feels like under his fingers for much longer.

You know how wendigos can mimic human voices? I just had the horrible thought of salmondean hunting one after Cas' death and the creature baiting Dean with Cas' voice. Sam desperately trying to hold his brother back from running into the woods toward certain death but Dean's blinded by grief and heartbreak, screaming till he's hoarse for Sam to let go, "let me go, let me go, I have to find him, he's out there and I need to save him Sammy. I failed him too many times before, please please please".

My brain last night: Laswell requesting Soap while the 141 is between big jobs to track down some stolen element 115.

Ghost losing his shit: "Absolutely not! If it has anything to do with 115, Broken Arrow, Ascension, or group 935, I will not let you have my Sergeant."

Laswell: "Ghost, how do you know about those projects? What do you know, about those projects?"

Ghost: "There's a reason everyone in each of those groups loses their minds and falls to insanity. Element 115 is not safe. It... it ruins people Kate. Drives them to madness."

Price, stepping in. He was going to let Soap go, but now he's feeling nervous. "Ghost, tell us what you know, Son."

Ghost, hesitantly: "I was exposed to 115 by Doctor Richtofen. I know exactly what it did to him, the other test subjects, and every scientist who's come into contact with it. I can still hear the voices... the laughter..."

And then I plotted out a whole ass COD Zombies fic while trying to fall asleep. 😑 and it's all I can think about.

i rly wanna write an au (have sort of already started) where gojo works as a babysitter (idk for why yet, maybe another au where he just really needs the money or something haha) and he starts babysitting yuuji (who is just five years old) and the kid’s an absolute MENACE so gojo is ab to rip his hair off tryna keep an eye on him. and then you’re yuuji’s hot older sister who’s in grad school and is incredibly off limits bc gojo’s so screwed if your mom finds out he has the hots for you n she would kill him (then fire him) if he made a move on you. also did i mention he really needs the money 😔

i’m just picturing gojo not knowing how to cook anything for yuuji other than microwaved dino nuggets and he has to write yuuji’s allergies on the back of his hand w marker so he doesn’t forget he’s only allowed to give the kid almond butter and not peanut butter or else he WILL GO INTO ANAPHYLACTIC SHOCK. also he’s always staring at the pics of you that your mom hung up on the fridge (your 4-year uni grad photos) n he knows he’s not supposed to contact you unless it’s an emergency bc you’re a busy woman but he texts you all the time anyways (stupid shit all day like “hey where does yuuji keep his light up sneakers he really wants to wear them to school today” n you’re at your wits end like “…second cabinet from the left”)

for christmas you come down to visit and he’s biting his fist to make sure he doesn’t flirt with you in front of your mom n all your relatives at the table during the family holiday dinner (kiddo yuuji begged for gojo to be invited too) n then things get hot n heavy when gojo goes upstairs to grab something for your mom n he accidentally runs into you changing in your old bedroom n idK I ONLY HAD ONE SENTENCE PLANNED BUT I KEPT TYPING THIS OUT PLS

u know that orpheus and eurydice trend on tiktok about looking back? its kinda making me think of percico constantly trying to keep sight of the other and never managing it. percy turning back just a moment too late, after nico's already stepped into the shadows and disappeared. nico turning back just a moment too early and looking away from percy's happiness, completely missing the way percy looks back at him.
