Dona’s attempt at a selfie. She maybe a Garlean, but taking photos of herself was one thing she wasn’t ever good at. 

I never thought I’d love Dona so much when I made her, but here we are. She went from an alt to my main. Dona’s come so far story wise and I don’t regret a day of this journey. She went from a double agent with an unattainable dream of somehow changing Garlemald for the better while helping Eorzea at the same time, to a woman that realizes that Garlemald is not the home she wants it to be, at least not anytime soon. Her love for friends in Eorzea and her desire to become better then the place of her upbringing laid out before her, set her on the path she is now as a newly defected Garlean. She can now be comfortable in herself and do what she feels is right with her skill sets (ceruleam research, weapon construction, etc).

I am absolutely loving the gear you get from doing the castrum in the Bozjan Southern Front, so I figured I’d make it Dona’s new Garlean ‘defector’ outfit.

I am so sad I forgot to put on her circlet for this photo and the fact I lack the skills to photoshop her third eye in/have the balls to use mods, but I still love this screen of my precious Garlean Rebel, Dona in her mining outfit!

Photo dump time! Got Donaula to Hades tonight and I’m excited to have her at end game. Hoping once I get her settled with the MSQ I can actually focus on  rping with her, creating a LRP, make rp connections and such. It feels so good having her this far. Because I need to post more often and I am getting back into playing her, I wanted to share a pic of my girl, Dona. Idk why I stopped playing her for a bit but I am glad I am back. She’s been my star child outside my main and tbh she’s my main muse at the moment. She’s the one I unwind on. Anyway I decided to stray from the msq for a while and lvl MCH on her and I am loving it. It’s a good fit for her. :) Don’t be afraid to poke me if you ever see me online!

What is your character's favourite city-state? Is it where they were born/lived in/travelled too, or is it a more idealised version of what the city-state actually is? Are there any parts of it they don't like?

Gonna give a double answer for this one and answer for Myn and Dona! :)

Mynelle Domingue - As an Astrologian, Ul’dah is by far Myn’s favorite city-state if not for the sole purpose that she is able to see the stars best there. She also prefers the dry air of ul’dah over Limsa’s humidity. The money based political climate is something she avoids like the plague, so her love for the place is mainly for the land itself and the small people that she wants to help.

Donaula eir Casca (Lothaire in game) - Of course, Dona being a pureblood Garlean, Garlemald holds a very special place in her heart. She enjoyed learning and building new tech. Though she has fond childhood memories of her homeland she has grown up to realize that all is not as well as she thought. There is so much she wants to change in her home: their relationship with other people’s, the government and the ideals of conquest. While lofty, she will do what she must to change her homeland to what she remembers as a child.

Double agent/Spy

Dona is a double agent so she uses her resources and connections with Garlemald to give her connections in Eorzea an edge. Do you need info from the other side of the shiny magitek shields, Dona’s your woman. But it all comes at a price. She isn’t doing this for shits and giggles, she has an agenda. Are you willing to pay your due?

Garlean 

Dona grew up among the city walls of Garlemald. For a majority of her childhood she lived in relative bliss and happiness with her parents. In spite of her current negative views on Garlemald’s government she's still got a place in her heart for her country and wants a bright future for it. Among others outside of Garlemald, she’d prefer people not to know what she is, at least not at first. 

Rebellion “Rage against the Machine”

Dona feels that the current makeup of Garlemald is eating itself from the inside just as much as it is trying to consume the rest of the world through conquest. She knows that it can be more devastating than she is willing to admit if she is found out, but she tries to do her best to make a change for a better future she thinks it deserves. 

Cultural exploration: 

Dona wants to see the world freely, not chained down by the weight of duty or job. She enjoys taking the time to sit down with locals and take in their culture, food, and festivities. Anything new she can experience, she will jump at the opportunity.

Should Any Wish to Meet

I’ve seen a few post around the FFXIV community here sharing their characters for RP. I’ve been kinda in and out of the RP scene on balmung since I’ve joined because I’m a bit shy. I keep telling myself I’m going to actually start rping but it always falls through. So I suppose now is the time to turn that around.
