Hey guys, remember when I made a poll about the new tumblr community feature? Well it's finally here!

HOW TO JOIN?

Simply interact with this post (like,reblog,comment) , send me a dm or something in my ask box ( if you ask via my ask box make sure you say your username or just don't be on anon tho (I obviously won't be publicly answering the asks sent, I'll just send the invite and then delete the ask )) and i'll try to send you an invite!

If after a while I still haven't sent any invite, don't hesitate to try sending another message! I have no idea how many people will want to join and might miss some people :')

Currently, communities are in beta so you can't join them freely :( So I'll have to send individual invites to anyone who wish to join,,

What are communities?

The tumblr communities are a new feature currently in beta! In there you can post and reblog things, kinda like if you were on the classic dst tag, but here there's no need to filter any noisy web design company, posts about daylight savings or being touch starved or any other things that aren't don't starve related! You can also reblog stuff into communities as well as post! ( Doesn't even have to be your own, awesome right?)

How to post there?

Once you're invited, you can do a whole new post there, or reblog a post you made outside the community inside of it! ( I'd reccomend posting art outside and then reblog inside of the community)

For now the community feature is new and needing to send private invites obviously mean that it's not exactly open for everyone imediatly, meaning there might not be a ton of activities in there, but hopefuly as the feature starts leaving beta and become more open and easier to find thing's will start to pick up speed and be a bit more used!

( The community feature is obviously new to all of us, so I might make some oopsies and get things wrong as we discover this new feature together :') )

If you plan on joining don't hesitate to reblog too! That way more people can join and we won't just be a handful of people kinda confused and not using the feature :')

BH6 Snippets--2/19/2024

And now for one I haven't worked on much this month yet: the BH6/Don't Starve crossover Umbral Symbiosis:

“Whatever—” Maxwell said—blinked at the notepad the monster held in front of his nose, wave him off.  “You do know that I can understand you, right?  I don’t need that.” “Oh yeah, definitely a bad guy,” Hiro said, glowering.  “If you’re working with one of those things.” “Oh that’s rich—you even know who you’re talking about—oh good grief say it in English!” Maxwell snapped when the monster shoved the notepad in his face again.  Monster glowered at him, jotted something else down before holding the notepad in front of Maxwell again. “’Why am I so useless?’  Well that’s uncalled for,” Maxwell said, hands on his hips and glowering at the monster now ranting at him.  “Oh I’m telling your aunt you said that.” “Monsters have families?” Hiro had to ask. Didn’t like the way Maxwell’s attention slid to him, back to the monster—was grinning brightly, showing way too many teeth how did all those fit in that mouth? “You know what?  I’m gonna tell him.” Monster started, squawked something—“Well someone is going to have to tell him—”  Surged between Maxwell and Hiro, arms out.  “You know you can’t actually stop me, right?  Mostly because I can do this.” Hiro saw Maxwell make a dismissive wave—blinked in surprise when the monster went slamming against the wall like someone had reeled it in.  “How—” “Impressive, isn’t it?” Maxwell asked, tugging on his lapels and grinning around a cigar he had produced.  “Real fun at parties—granted I can’t do it to every shadow monster seeing as how someone stole my thunder, but—”  Cut off at the sight of the monster slamming against an invisible wall about a foot from him.  “Oh come on does that really surprise you?  Coming right straight after me is the oldest trick in the book of course I’d block that!” “Okay, you know what?” Hiro asked.  “I’ve decided I like the shadow monster, I think we finally found something we can agree on.”

Said shadow monster is Tadashi, although this is written from Hiro's perspective so he doesn't know that. Also Tadashi got Max to quote Salem from Sabrina the Teenage Witch.

Don't starve community!

There's a new feature on tumblr called communities and a don't starve one got created not too long ago! When it got created I made a post where I'd send an invite to anyone that interacted with that post, but now you can

This is completely new, so I'm unsure if they'll work perfectly or not or if the link can expire, but you can hit me up if there's a problem!

The community has been active for a bit now and I can confirm it feels more like sharing something with friends and mutuals than simply posting normally!
