the most conflicted feeling is when someone famous you respect died before they could say stupid shit that they probably would've said about current events
#personal crap#i've been thinking about this ever since someone said it's depressingly likely douglas adams would've ruined his reputation#if he'd lived long enough to say things about brexit and trans issues and the like#and i do not want to know whether alan rickman would've defended joke karen rowling if he were alive to see her now#and ofc the reverse of that that comes to mind is how one of the members of nirvana is a trump supporter now#don't think kurt would've approved of that lol
