"Have you seen this?" Bachira asks, waving a bottle of something in front of his face. "It smells like chocolate."

"What is it?" Reo asks, trying to grab it. He only succeeds on the third try and by then, he's already sufficiently annoyed.

"Chocolate face mask," he reads out loud, not surprised when Nagi stirs from his nap at the word "chocolate".

"Where did you get that from?" Reo asks, narrowing his eyes when Bachira ducks his head with a grin. "Huh?"

"I might have found it... in our manager's bag."

"You stole it?"

"I didn't steal it!" Bachira defends himself. "It was lying on top and I just saw it. But smell it - it smells amazing. Didn't taste good though."

"Idiot," Reo snarls, getting up from their table. "It's not-"

"Oh, is that my facemask?" Reo stiffens at your words. "Err, yes."

"And I was just wondering where that went off to," you laugh, grabbing it from him. "Thanks for finding it for me."

There's a twinkle in your eye that tells him you know the truth - or at least suspect something other than what you're hinting at. Do you think he stole it?

"Can we try it out?" Bachira asks, almost leaping over the table. "I love doing selfcare."

"I'm not sure I have enough for the whole team," you apologize.

"Pleeeeaaasssseeeee!" Bachira whines, almost at your feet now. And it's not like Reo can't empathize with him. The thought of your gentle hands massaging a face mask into his skin is invigorating, but he can also spot the unease in your eyes.

No doubt that face mask wasn't cheap. And it's not like you earn as much as they do as their manager.

"You know what," Reo drawls instead before he can decide against it. "I think we can all take a trip to Sephora and get us the masks we want. They do sell single-use packages of this stuff, right?"

"Wow, how do you know so much about this stuff?" Bachira asks, grinning from ear to ear as Reo feels his face flush.

"It's common knowledge," he barks out. "Now come on, if you want that face mask you'll have to buy it yourself!"

You're not as good at hiding things as you might think you are.

This is the third time you picked up that lipstick only to put it back again.

It's the last one of its kind too, a limited edition of a pricey but renowned brand even he has heard of before.

But you put it back again, walking over to the other row to help out Isagi and Kunigami who can't decide between peel-off and sheet masks.

With no one looking his way Reo's quick to snatch up that lipstick you wanted as well the lipliner in a matching color before he strides past the others toward the checkout. "I need to call my parents real quick," he tells his teammates. "I'll be waiting outside as soon as I've paid."

No one suspects a thing.

"Can you wrap this?" He asks the cashier, a bored-looking teen who rolls her eyes at his requests but does as she's asked.

Now he only has to find a chance to give this to you.

But Reo spotted the lipstick two days after dropping it in your bag when you weren't looking and maybe he's imagining it, but your smile seems to be a bit bigger whenever you're talking to him. Not that he's comparing your smile, he would never.

"Hey, Reo!" You catch him after training a week later, the offending lipstick still on your lips. It suits you perfectly and he wishes it wouldn't last as long, since the color is making it a bit hard to focus these last days.

Please say yes, Reo thinks as you pull something from your bag, pressing it into his hands. "I thought you could use this."

It's a scarf, clearly made by hand, in the exact color of his hair. He's left speechless, the warm accessory heavy in his hands as you ramble.

"You looked really cold when you all went out for a jog the last time so I wanted to give you something to warm up but buying a scarf is so... I don't know... I wanted it to be special. If you don't like it that's completely fine too, the color is my favorite color anyway, you can just give it ba-"

"I love you," the words rush out of him like a tidal wave or the first breathe after coming out of the water and he clamps his mouth shut right after, blood rushing to his face as he realizes what he's just said.

You look just as stunned as he feels which means that he has to say something and god, can't he just be normal about something for once?

"I love it," Reo corrects himself, holding up the scarf. "I never got something made by hand before."

"Never," he repeats, tying it around his neck before you can take it back. "Thank you."

Silence washes over the two of you. You look like you want to say something, but no words come out and he knows time is of the essence because, in a minute, Bachira and the others will come back asking for him, interrupting this private little thing you have going on and-

"Why did you buy me that lipstick?" You ask and he swallows wrong, choking on air.

"I-"

"I asked the cashier if someone just bough it, because I really wanted to buy it for myself and she told me some guy with purple hair just bought it and made her wrap it. I thought it might be for your girlfriend or the girl you fancy or maybe even your mum but then I found the gift in my bag and-" You shrug, a little helpless. "Why me?"

Reo shrugs, just as helpless. "Why not? You wanted it."

"Yeah, but you don't just buy something this expensive for a coworker."

"Maybe I wanna be more?" There, the words are out and there's nothing he can do about it.

But there's that twinkle in your eye that he first fell in love with - if he's allowed to say that - and you pull on the ends of his new scarf as if you can't contain yourself.

"Good," you tell him, lips spreading into a grin. "Because I wanna be more too."

"Never," he disagrees, biting softly into your nose. "You can't make me stop."

You giggle into his affections. "Fine, but you'll help me open the doors, right?"

"You mean I will film your reaction while you open the doors."

"Fine," you huff exaggeratedly, kissing his cheek before you step back to push back your sleeves.

"Wait," you stop halfway to the first door of the advent calendar. "You said you preordered them... Did you order more than one?"

"Ah," he blushes a soft red. "Let's not talk about the finer details just now. We were getting ready to open this bad boy up, remember?"

"reo, are you okay?" you, sweetly and as kind as always, look at him in concern, hand waving in front of his wave. you are probably ready to offer your iced drink if he says his head hurt. reo considers proposing to you at that very moment immediately.

wearing an easy laugh on his face, reo shrugs off your actually unneeded concern—though having your attention on him is always nice. "i'm okay! i'm just thinking—" about what sort of ring you will like "—about what sort of gift i should give you as celebration. tell me, what do you want?"

at least he doesn't completely lie to the love of his life.

you seem to be completely caught off guard by his offer, eyes widening and staring at him in worldless surprise for a few passing seconds. then, the moment you regain your composure, you shook a hand quickly, "no way! you don't have to buy me anything—plus, i doubt i have fully pay my debt with that coat of yours!"

reo wonders if saying "if you stay by my side forever i wouldn't mind getting a coat ruined every day. just say what brand" is socially acceptable. of course, the answer is no.

so, instead, he just heaves out a sad musing, "i see. how sad. and here i think i could give something for you to remember me by..."

"reo..." you say, the exasperated yet genuine kind of fondness build by hours you spend with him becoming obvious, "...you know. rather than something, how about you just call me every night? so, i don't forget your voice... or something, haha."

hearing you growing sheepish and shy near the end makes reo feels like he could do consecutive thirty winning assists. he was considering to act dejected—complete with cheek on palm and forlorn expression of a lonely spouse—but, once again, his brain short circuits.

without thinking twice, sincerely with his whole heart, reo answers, "i will. anytime you want."

maybe he really should chucks those tokyo-okinawa flights into his daily schedule somehow. he definitely can juggle everything else along with that.

trying to keep his cool, reo could only manage, "...fine. guess i will make do with your instructions only."

barou shouei its a really difficult guy to date. even if he likes/loves you, he ends up being a little harsh sometimes. he doesn't really mean it, but it slips up. after he notices he said something harsh, you can see his face instantly softening. he wraps his arms around you and pulls you to his chest, his lips softly peck your forehead as he sighs in relief when he feels your arms wrap around him too.

if you don't mind that, he would love to clean up your room or help you clean up your house. of course, he would respect if you have a certain style of organizing your stuff, but he would truly love to help you – and your place – stay clean. he also would love to help you cook or wash dishes, it's the kind of quiet but cozy moment that would make his heart race in a good way.

you're one of the few people – maybe the only one – that can touch his hair. everytime you're hanging out on his place, he let's his long hair stay down. he really likes to feel your fingers pass through his locks, even if he won't say that out loud. you basically make him melt and soften in every single way and he loves it ♡

rensuke loves to take you out to dinner or to watch movies – if he can do both, its even better. he also really likes to accompany you if you want to go shopping, even if he really doesn't understand that much about clothes, he enjoys to give his opinion about how something looks on you – he always says you look gorgeous, so it might not be that helpful. also, kunigami always carries your bags, no discussion, he will do it.

he might not be that much of a affectionate boyfriend, but you would never not feel loved by him. somehow, you would feel all his love just by looking into his eyes while he looks at you. every single moment you're with him, you would feel loved and appreciated, because rensuke refuses to let the most important person in his life feel bad or sad.
