#don't pirate books

As a general rule, do not pirate books. Authors are not rock stars. They don't make very much money.

Also, my friends who are writers have told me that if their books get pirated a lot, publishers don't want to publish their books anymore.

I personally think this is beyond stupid (if a lot of people want to pirate the book, a lot of people probably want to buy it).

That said, I do make an exception for books in your other language that are not likely to be translated into English, or are likely to be translated very badly.

(I'm not fluent in Japanese, but I like to watch anime with subtitles because there is almost always something that has been translated horribly wrong on purpose in order to make the story more acceptable to mainstream America, and if I watch the dub, I won't hear it.)

hey, generally speaking i am pro-pirating but there is post going around with a free version of Maus by Art Spiegelman on a google doc and i am genuinely asking you all to not reblog it. Art Spiegelman is still alive. he still makes money off of Maus. and what is being monetized is his generational trauma as the son of a holocaust survivor. please either buy Maus or get it from the library (libraries also benefit the author and when more people request or check out a book it communicates to the library that they need more copies). pirating Maus is very different than pirating a marvel movie or reading a google doc of a book no longer in print. please use critical thinking.

The Red Hair Pirates Navigator gets sick or something while Mihawk is visiting and Mihawk, who rides around on an overgrown raft and has probably never steered an actual real ship in his life but loves a challenge, volunteers himself as a stand in while acting like they've forced his hand.

And Shanks is so excited because Mihawk is actually taking a vested interest in his crew and this is probably the closest he will get at having him as an official rhp and of course watching Mihawk do piratey things he rarely does is very hot.

Benn: I've never seen Hawkeyes use a map before, I'm not even sure he own's a log pose.

Shanks (insanely whipped would let Mihawk crash them into the rocks like a sailor to a siren call) : But he get's where he needs to go and that's the important bit.

Mihawk gives directions that the helmsmen has never heard of in his life, never actually opens a map navigates soley on memory, they don't see a single Island for days and he leaves the crew wondering how exactly it is he ever gets anywhere. They still somehow arrive 3 days earlier than expected.

In my head the Zosan babies came to be in a very quirky way, mostly because I wanted them to be biological children of Zoro and Sanji and at the same time I couldn't decide who would get the mpreg treatment.

Finally, I decided how it would go with the help of Ivankov, Law and specially Nami.

Ivankov swapped either Sanji or Zoro (that's up to you to decide) and Law came after some time and used his devil fruit to pass the baby (???) to Nami, as she volunteered to be the kinda sorta surrogate mother.

During the first months she powered through the exaggerated over-protection of Zoro and Sanji as well as their insistence to be around her all the time to check on her and "hang out with the kid".

Then OH? Surprise surprise, it wasn't just a kid. They were having twins.

Nami was shocked, Zoro almost has a heart attack and Sanji had a nervous meltdown. As for Law and Chopper they actually expected it because of Sanji's brothers.

Either way, the next months Nami guilt-tripped everyone in the ship into treating her like royalty with the excuse that doing stuff with the twins was hard. When the day came Vivi, Zoro and Sanji where in the room. It went smoothly, well, at least medically.

Zoro and Sanji were very stressed from the start but when the girls came out with green hair and a curly brow Nami had to scold them, so they would stop bickering (Secretly they were smitten by this traits).

Anyways, this is why Nami and Vivi will never have kids.

Not like she has to have other kid to fullfil Zoro and Sanji's obsession for the number three, Luffy just picked up and orphan and gave it to them that Christmas because he saw they were excited about having kids earlier that year.

nah. Idletry is paywalled for reasons like "it will have mature content in it" and "it's going to be expensive to print," and Committal is just a fan comic posted out-of-order on a whim, so it didn't feel worth it to make a separate site.

audiobooks are SO expensive, and i listen to them almost every night. libby has saved me thousands of dollars by now, no joke. support your local library. if you’re not american, you can still try to apply for a library card at the brooklyn library!

disclaimer: this is so easy. it is also really fun.

one: download the libby app. you'll open it and it'll ask you to add a library.

two: get a library card. don't have one? good news, it's really easy and i am saying this as the laziest person on earth. it varies what you need to have to get a card library to library but almost all libraries will let you get one online. i have a card for my home town and for the town i moved to. sometimes you only need an email address, sometimes you need an area code. to get mine it took me about 5 minutes of lying on the couch aimlessly tapping on my phone. follow your heart. you can get cards for places you don't currently live. i will leave the ethics of that up to you but it's probably better than pirating and either way you're creating traffic for libraries which is what they need to exist.

three: add your card. you can add multiple cards for multiple libraries. you need the number. i have never had libby fail to recognize a valid account.

four: search for your book! some will be ready to borrow right away. others have an estimated delivery time. libby will always pick the one that's the fastest from the options available at all the libraries you have cards at. you can borrow audiobooks and ebooks. libby will send you a notification when you're book is ready to borrow. in my experience it's a lot faster than the estimate. if you aren't ready to read it, you can ask to be skipped over in line so you keep your place at the front but let someone else read it first.

five: read it!!! kindle is the most common way to do this. you can go to your loan and click read with kindle. it'll download it to all your devices where you have kindle. as long as you have the loan, it'll act like your book. when the loan ends, if the device is connected to the internet, it'll automatically be returned. it will save all your notes and highlights. (if you disconnect your device from the internet, it won't return the book. weewoo.)

anyway in case anyone else has been wondering about it, i really love it. is a nice surprise to see what i'm going to get and it's cut my reading costs down big time! it's also neat because i get to synch my books between devices unlike downloading books through cough cough other means. good luck!

But then the major bitch nun discovers the plan and as a punish cuts jasonlina's hair it's in that moment that Brucilla comes back to adopt her, taking her back to the manor (and not resolving the embezzling thing!).

Now they are all grow up and Jason wants to mary this guy artemius but Brucellina says he's a golddigger and forbids jasonlina to see the man or contact hum which makes artemius think jasonlina doesn't love her anymore. And it keep on happening, everytime a man shows interest in jasonlina Brucellina locks the girl up until we get a confrontation where Jasonlina talks back Brucellina slaps her and threatens to never let her leave 'cause she's a whore and then Jason runs away and cuts her on hair to live a life of piracy where she only loves the sea and her beloved ghost girlfriend.
