I wonder where the fandom policing and puritanical mentality that you can only ship couples that are innocent, appealing (visually and morally), and strictly plain vanilla, came from. When did that start? 🤔

Sorry I really didn’t mean I’m attacking you or your ship. I also don’t think it’s a red flag, most gay men I saw don’t really like shuggy either. I mean, probably the entire world prefers any other shanks ships? On almost every site, con or store there’s always tons of mishanks and Bennshanks and never shuggy. I get it’s also about dynamic and connection those two pairs have, like with the parallels to other ships the base for them is extremely strong. But the minimal shuggy does speak volumes. I genuinely wonder about this. Shuggy is unpopular and again while I do agree there’s strong connection between “rival ships” I don’t think that’s the only reason… and like…. Buggy is ugly, isn’t he? He doesn’t have cool style, doesn’t look cool, makes ugly faces all the time, also is a coward. I like him as comedy character and shanks brother though!
I understand where you're coming from when you say Shuggy is unpopular amongst some people (actually, before anyone says anything. It IS an extremely popular ship in Japan but I have seen A LOT of hatred towards it in this side of the fandom, so that's what I'm talking about when I say it's unpopular). I have talked about this before. And I have said a lot of times that the reason why is often because people only focus on looks and Buggy is not conventionally attractive for the fangirly twinkified sexualized gaze numerous sides of the fandom and the general audience seek. Like, I am not forcing people to ship them, but I have had people admitting the only reason they don't is because of the looks, and I personally believe that is a very (despite valid, of course) dull way of seeing ships. And respectfully, I don't care that other gay dudes or all the people in the world agree with you. It's not a red flag to not like Shuggy, what it is a red flag, though, is to come into people's inboxes to do what you're doing!
I know you don't mean to attack me or anybody who ships them but your tone does wonders showing otherwise. Your perception of shipping is just based on looks and the fact that you came here, to a blog that explicitly ships these characters and is fond of Buggy, talking shit about one of the characters' looks... Is just straight-up mean and not following the social etiquette this site should follow, which is "let people do whatever the fuck they want".
So with all due respect, what makes you think I won't find your questions offensive in any way? Because you keep talking bad about a character I like in my inbox for literally no reason. Do you expect me to admit that the ship is unpopular because Buggy is ugly and boring? Well, I do admit people view him as ugly and only a comedy relief, but I don't. Expecting others to find beautiful and interesting the same things you do is having a very close-minded vision that One Piece's plot itself is against.
By the way, you're showing that you clearly don't like Buggy in the slightest because you're only talking about the traits that you find negative about him. But of course, you like him as comedy relief. Of course, you like him as a character in Shanks' story and not as a character himself. Despite Buggy having lots of depth. Your perception of these characters seems, in my opinion, extremely empty and, as I said, only based on looks. And you're free of shipping whatever you want however you want! But please, please, don't do this anymore. This is just petty high school mean girl behavior. Even Regina George would word this in a more polite way.
So, as a little advice for you, let people ship whatever they want without questioning their favorite characters! I am sure you will live a more peaceful life!

good morning everyone friendly reminder that taking inspiration from other artists (allowed, fun, fresh, helps you grow as an artist) is not the same as a/i taking someone's art without their consent to let people copy that art style and people are allowed to be rightfully angry and upset about the second one happening

hello! i have a genuine question, because i am actually really clueless and would like to know more about it?
what exactly is the little!reader/ddlg(?) concept? i'm sorry if it sounds stupid, i really mean this as a genuine question. is the reader literally a child and their partner is like an actual father??? or are they actually in a relationship, it's just that the reader is in a "little" sub space(?) where their partner takes care of them?
no hate pls im really really just asking and clueless pls help me understand 😭😭😭
First of all, you don't need to apologize or fear getting hate or anything like that. I'm here for you and I love that you asked when you saw something you weren't familiar with.
Second, to answer your question, little!f!reader is simply an old enough and consenting female who willingly regresses in age, getting herself in little space (just like sub space in BDSM like you mentioned) and so she becomes under the care of her significant other or her "daddy". It is mostly not sexual and it involves softness and care more than sexual activities.
Older people can regress in age alone, privately or with a partner they trust because it is a calmer, safer headspace to be in.
In my stories, my characters do it because it becomes too heavy for them to always have to deal with real life as responsible grownups all the time, so they regress to a headspace where all they could worry about is finishing their fruit snacks or coloring a full page in their coloring books.
I hope that explained it a little bit, but if you still have any questions please always feel free to ask me💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

Hey Kana! I've been a fan of your writings since the past year and I just wanted to say I love them and the way you reply to your asks ❤️ I just wanted to ask a question. How do you deal with the hate comments? Like doesn't it hurt when someone questions your writings? I'm kinda a baby when it comes to tumblr and I just received my first hate comment and it felt really bad. I'm really sorry if I'm bothering you. I just felt like you're someone I should consult about this.
Hello, darling! Thank you so much for sending me a message and you're not bothering me at all! I'm happy that you reached out to me! I don't think I'm the best person to seek advice from but I'll try my best to help! It gets a bit long under the cut, I'm sorry 😭
I have received a few hate comments in the past when I just started writing. Some of them were pretty traumatizing ngl and I had to take like a year break because of it 🥲 so I know how you feel and how upsetting it is. I'm so sorry that this happened to you, sweetheart 😭I'm sending you the biggest hug right now. Nobody in the world deserves a hate comment, especially when you're a writer/artist who creates stuff for free.
I just checked your blog to see the hate comment you were referring to (I hope you don't mind 😭) and I saw that some anon was mad because you wrote a smutty fic involving a character that's still a minor in canonverse.
Now, honey, I'm 10000000% on your side because a) it's your fic, your work, your blog, as long as you've put up some warnings, you can write whatever the hell you want. b) you've aged them up in your fics but even if you didn't age them up in your fics, that still doesn't make it okay for these people to be rude and attack you for it cause they're FICTIONAL. These characters are not real people with real life problems, they're literally just a bunch of drawings. That anon is spending their energy defending lines on paper and hurting a real person in the process.
Tbh I feel like this happens pretty often no matter what fandom you're in and I find it super weird that some people are actually upset about this. It's fiction! It's not real! And it's not like you support the stuff that's happening in the story! Like if you write about character A killing someone, it doesn't make you a murderer. It doesn't mean you support the act. If you write about incest, it doesn't mean you want to sleep with your dad or your brother. It's simply just for the plot, to make the story interesting. To share your ideas and be creative about it. And, the most important thing is, you're not forcing these people to read your fics, are you? They decided to read them on their own. And if you already wrote the warnings and they CHOSE to ignore them, that's their fault. It's like you see a bowl of hot peppers and you know they're spicy as hell but you choose to eat them anyway and when your tongue is on fire, you get angry "WHY IS THIS THING SO SPICY" like what????
A message for that anon: When you read stuff you don't like (stuff that someone wrote for FREE, stuff that someone spent hours or days creating it), the easiest thing you can do is just close the tab. Literally it takes zero energy to do it. Don't attack these writers with hate comments. Don't hurt their feelings. You don't know how hard they've worked on the story, their struggles in real life, or how insecure they are about their writing. One bad comment and they might stop writing forever, even when it's something that brought them comfort before. There are millions of other fics out there that you can read. Just scroll away and move on.

Why is it the posts I always put the least amount of thought or effort into, and which I meant nothing in particular by, always get the most attention and engagement? Well, wait, I already know the answer.
It's because so many people only are willing to make an effort when it means they can whine about something to do with themselves and pretend as if they're offended or angry. Putting in that much effort for something unrelated to them personally is clearly too monumental a task, I guess.
The self-obsession around here is pretty funny and also as predictable as clockwork.

ok to the anon in my inbox: hi i'm not going to answer your ask because it feels kinda racially charged. i don't think the trigun plantcest issue is specific to countries other than the US. in fact, the majority of plantcest shippers i've seen on twt have been american or from some other white-dominated western country. maybe the ones you've seen are using their culture to defend it, idk, i'm not you!! but this. is not a foreign-specific issue. this is prevalent in the western world as well. i agree that it makes the fandom unbearable but like bro i hope you know that in most cases it's white girl fujoshis who are spearheading the incest shipping. it is VERY popular in the us. the call is coming from inside the fucking house

Please think about why you don’t consider BAME British people or immigrants to be ‘really’ British, and why I might have included those food cultures on purpose.
Hey, I didn't mean to imply that they're not British. I am Indian myself, and I always believed that that the food had Indian roots, not European roots. The whole "thin ice" comment was mainly a joke based on my surprise, but I'm sorry if it offended anyone.
#i suppose it's along the same lines as me considering tex mex as having roots in mexican food despite not being exactly mexican ykno?#like yeah i can understand if tikka masala originated in britain then technically it is british#which is why after googling i was like 'ok yeah i guess'#but not being british means it definitely caught me by surprise when i found out it's quite popular there#actually I've been thinking about this and to add on:#define british food to me pls bc i don't actually know what is considered culturally british#if i were to make a dish inspired by indian cuisine i would market it here as indian food not american food#but america is a hodge podge of cultures and very few things are actually considered culturally american in this country#i had thought even in britain tikka masala would be considered indian food of a sort because it is heavily inspired by indian cultural food#just like we have the separation of chinese food indian food mexican food italian food french food etc. here#and even in some places there is separation between cultural international foods and 'american' international foods#like I've been to asian restaurants that label cultural foods on their menu vs for example 'american chinese food'#so to me tikka masala would be 'british indian food' and not solely british food because the indian part is still important there#anyways this became a bit of a ramble but at the end of the day#i understand that there is rampant anti-immigrant sentiment going around that is important to combat#but please don't drop in my inbox acting like i am immediately racist for having a modicum of disbelief#i really did not appreciate waking up to what felt like an attack on a monday morning#im sure you meant well and are probably tired of seeing actual racism in your notes#and as a child of immigrants i appreciate you sticking up for immigrants#esp since you may be one yourself idk#just please keep in mind that people do have different experiences and perspectives that aren't characterized the same as yours#because it did come off a little abrasive

Arms wrapping around the golden simian's waist, a soft exhale drifting from the ebony simian before pressing a kiss to his cheek. Resting his head upon the male's shoulder, nuzzling into the crook of his neck as his tail wraps around the other's.
All that is needed to be heard is the quiet purr.
Tumblr media
It didn’t take much for him to sense the other’s approach, a soft smile forming across his lips as he felt Dusk’s arms wrap around his waist from behind. The kiss sending a gentle warmth to rise to his cheek — chest rumbling to life in the moment. Feeling the serenity that came with the tender act from his mate.
Leaning back into the other simian, he returned the gesture as his lips pressed against the side of the his head. Golden tail tightening around the ebony one that was wrapped around it. Wukong just basking in the tranquil moment they were having. Worries, doubts, and fears seeming far away now in the moment — like they were untouchable now. Placing another tender peck to his companion’s temple. His hands resting against Dusk’s arms now as he ran his claws delicately through the soft fur, drinking in everything — his warmth, his smell, his presence. All of it flooding his senses and leaving him feeling at peace in that moment.
The world seemed to fade, leaving just them in this moment. Nothing else seeming to matter as he focused on returning the affection to Dusk. Wanting to other feel the same serenity and love that he felt right now — to show that he loved and adored him more than words could ever express properly. Soft chirps and tender trills leaving him as he leaned his head back enough to nuzzle into the other.
Sounds of their purring now blending together in serene harmony. There was no plans to move now, just to sit here and stay wrapped in each other’s hold.
