for sonic’s 35th anniversary I think it would be so funny if sega decided to brand it as 25 years of shadow
#I know Nintendo did something similar w year of Luigi and that was an absolute flop but I think it would actually be successful for sth#esp considering that shadow routinely beats out sonic in popularity polls#I guess you could say 2005 was the year of shadow w shth and I feel like I’ve heard it been referred to as that but 2005 wasn’t rlly a big#milestone for his character#if they were feeling ballsy they could make it 25 years of shadow/20 years of silver but then it’d feel more like a joke than marketing#I mean 25 years of shadow would already be kind of a joke but it would play off well but shadow + silver it wouldn’t play off as well#don’t get me wrong in a silvergirl all the way though#sonic the hedgehog#sth#shadow the hedgehog
