Gagasan di balik pameran ONboarding ini adalah untuk menampilkan perkembangan karya dari tiap seniman seusai melewati perjalanan panjang dalam kompetisi Go Ahead Challenge dengan memproyeksikan bayangan tentang kondisi seniman yang kini berada di tengah perjalanan karir mereka dalam bidang seni budaya. Kegiatan ini mencoba menangkap pengaruh, pemikiran, masalah, serta harapan mereka di masa yang akan datang nanti. Meski tidak seluruhnya berasal ataupun terbiasa bekerja dalam presentasi visual, pameran ini berupaya untuk mendorong aspek tersebut secara lebih jauh dengan menggunakan pendekatan dan konsep yang dikembangkan secara serius oleh seniman.
