Who fell first, Domi or Trent?

Hi anon! ☽ I hope you enjoyed the league cup celebrations. ☺️ I’m sad that we only got crumbs from Domitrent since they couldn’t play, but those crumbs were still tasty crumbs haha. Anyways! In my head, I definitely see Domi having fallen first. I think that when he knows, he knows. I do wonder if maybe he tried to hide it at first, tried to play it cool, but in the end couldn’t deny his heart and started being more obvious about his feelings.

On the other hand, although I feel like Trent is slower to open up to his feelings (or maybe because of that), he probably had more of an intense fall when it came to Domi. He wouldn’t have seen it coming, and he’s usually so level-headed and stoic, so when it finally dawned on him that there was a connection there—that the chemistry was too strong to deny—he felt it like a tidal wave pulling him undertow.

I get the sense that although they feel similar feelings to/for one another, they feel and express those emotions in very different ways! But in the end it’s undeniable.

But you know who noticed before either of them did?

Mo did. 😅

what do you think about domitrent? People don’t write for them anymore and it’s for a reason. They haven’t interacted in real life in ages and it’s sad

i like domitrent! i don't keep regular tabs on the liverpool team tbh so idk what they're up to irl but i've read a decent amount of fic about them :) in particular my beloved mutual @ollieflopkins has written some great domitrent that im forever obsessed with

My ship still going on. SzobiCody forever. I bet he always does this to Cody all the time. The one who is taller than him but is lean enough to hug from behind. 😍 The cutest Cody bear and his John.

DomiTrent still has no.1 place in my heart, but I do have faith in my sweet angel Gakkers. Their friendship is more of a slow burn. I noticed that Domi always comments under Cody's insta haha. And don't forget about their special little handshake!!

But this hug was so sweet! Poor Ryan tho. First with the Christmas bagels, now this. 😭

Interesting! I thought that I started more fics off with dialogue/quotations, but apparently I don't, haha. I do like to start off in medias res or without the context fully apparent though, like in more than half of these. It also appears that I start off with a name, but with the other name in the ship not mentioned until a later sentence. I guess any mystery is thwarted if you've read the ship/pairing tags on ao3, but I generally like fiction that teases you in the beginning, makes you want to read more to find out what is going on.
