DOL x FE AWAKENING AU because I love Fire Emblem and need an excuse to talk about it! To make this easy on my brain, all the LIs are male for this.

Whitney: Started off as a bandit I think. Definitely from Plegia, and got recruited by Chrom and the Shepherds after a skirmish. He’d have the fighter class, and would probably get along with people like Sully, Vaike and Gaius? I can also somehow see him supporting with Lissa for some reason? Imagine Whitney!Owain and how hilarious that would be.

Whitney as a parent in this AU would pretty much be the same as his main source counterpart. Absolutely amazing, and would feel so awful that he died in the future and couldn’t protect his kid. He’d do their best trying to make up for lost time and do amazing at it.

Kylar: Would be a Plegian dark mage. I feel like between them and Tharja, he’d tie for being the most obsessive. Much like Tharja, Kylar would immediately be infatuated with (FE) Robin and want to join so they can devote himself to them. Aside from (FE) Robin, I can see Kylar supporting well with Henry, Tharja for the funny, and Kellam.

Kylar as a parent in this AU would be awkward as hell. He’d really try their best, but it would be hard for him. He would also be insanely jealous of this kid because he wants their mom’s attention to himself. Maybe that’s something he and his kid would go through in their support chain?

Sydney: Priest Sydney is too easy to pass up. Devoted to Naga, and loyal to the Exalt, Sydney would be an excellent addition to the Shepherds. Definitely takes on more than he can chew though. It isn’t Sydney if he isn’t overworking himself. He’d have an amazing support chain with Libra. There’s no way those two aren’t friends. I also wanna see him be friends with Gaius. Other supports would probably be Maribelle, Olivia, and Cordelia.

Sydney as a parent wouldn’t be as amazing as Whitney, but still kind, and loving. He’d be devastated to know that he died and wasn’t there to protect his child from the horrors of the world. I feel like he’d do his best to care for them just as he would have in the future.

Robin: Having the same name as the army’s tactician definitely causes some confusion! There’s probably jokes here and there about it too. Our boy Robin would be an archer, and has most likely been with the Shepherds from the start. Would probably support with Sumia, Lissa, and Nowi.

Robin as a parent would be pretty okay I think. He wouldn’t have much to offer in terms of wisdom, but is there to listen to any grievances his kid had about the future and Grima’s reign of terror.

dol anon back and JUMPING FOR JOY!!!! i'm so curious what love interests you liked and which soft end you got (i have a guess but 🤫) and everything. pls. also i'm begging for you to drop your pc design i'm sure they're so cute <3 there is so much to do in dol i don't even know where to start sometimes, like the entire cooking system was just added a couple weeks back and i have barely touched it out of fear lol

I am still definitely early in discovering everything, as splitting time between files is hindering forward progression, but I still have plenty of thoughts 💪 (especially bc I've also been scouring the wiki)

My trial run PC is a lovely lady named Mela, who I don't currently have a good screenshot of. Imagine a dead anime mom in a happy flashback, that's her. Anyway, she's So Fucking Clumsy, exceptionally talented at tearing her clothes on every school desk, tree, gust of air... she's so fucking expensive. Mela, please.

Mela was me playing safe (largely being devoted to school), and I put my fucking life on the line trying to complete my science fair project only to get hunted by Eden. I made a separate save file just to see through Eden's bad ending, and ended up really enjoying her as a love interest—btw, why is ALL the fan art of Eden a dude??? She's obviously hottest as a huge scary woman. I kinda want to draw her.

I'll likely continue Mela's regular save state (didn't get past week 2 of normal life), but it was moreso training wheels and exploration than roleplaying a character I'm actually attached too.

My other current file is playing as my OC Dulce, who is a perfect fit for this game. There are so many other Dulce-esque characters already written in, the biggest being Whitney (all Whitney fanart is SOOO Dulce to me). I haven't met the ranch hand yet but he's apparently an alcoholic, which also reminds me of Dulce. Dulce is gonna slut it up & drink & do delinquent shit & dance, very excited to see where it goes. Probably is gonna try to pursue Whitney bc they are matchies.

I'm gonna make other PCs too, there's so much to investigate. Sydney, for example, absolutely fascinates me. So fucking cute, but also such an obvious little creepazoid. And SOMETHING is going on with him, but idk what yet. So many fucking red flags. Corruption kinks aren't usually interesting to me but I desperately want to see where that goes, too.

Robin is very cute. Sydney & Robin are currently my two favorite love interests, bc I'm honestly a sucker for vanilla romance. Kylar is a yandere & I don't enjoy yanderes so I'm not excited about him. I have a future playthrough in mind to pursue Avery—he reminds me of Fujieda Slow Damage (which is funny to me, bc this game feels like the perfect enclosure for Towa Slow Damage. Who i might play as). Also I'm really mad the Ivory Wraith isn't a love interest, she FASCINATES ME and I love how she talks and I want her so bad.

Miscellaneous thoughts: all the teachers need to be fired immediately and I hate the forest with my entire being.

Hades is an indie roguelite game released a couple years ago! and literally I cannot find a single bad thing to say about this game im being serious rn. The storyline? Fucks. The music? Fucks. The art? Fucks. The characters? I need to fuck everyone so bad. The gameplay? I've never been more addicted to dying. and this game is fully voice acted like WHAT?????

In the game you play as Zagreus, son of Hades, and youre trying to escape from your house because you hate your dad and also to find your mom. but theres also tons of other characters with their own sub-plotlines AND there's a dating mechanic. there's honestly so much goddang content and the writing + voice-acting is totally solid!!

i'm not much of a Gamer™ myself and im usually pretty shit (or mediocre at BEST) in action-heavy games, but even i found hades to be super enjoyable :oo it did took some getting used to in the beginning, but after getting the hang of it and because of the game's natural progression it does get significantly easier. I think the game is really well-balanced, and no matter what weapon or boon you use its still really fun.

if i remember correctly back when the trailer dropped it caused quite a stir on twitter/tumblr because it looked so good. And guess what!! they're making HADES 2 BABEY!!! but that comes out in early access next year i think.

He's sure there's like, an actual demon in his fifth period class. Winged and horned and tailed and fanged and most definitely sacrilegious. Not sure what has to happen for someone to become a demon but, okay little succu-girl, you do you.

They don't talk and he's not affiliated with her in any form, but it's not like she's pulling up to class anyway - he's almost absolutely certain she has more pressing matters to attend to.

His loyalties lie elsewhere. Like with Robin, Willow and Ivory from chem, that cute Sydney boy that goes to temple and reads the holy scripture. Nice, pleasant folk. The type to ask about his day and help dab the cum of some dick head off his school trousers because he thought it was a good idea to take the bus today.

Whitney is naturally the bane of anyone's existence, but apparently likes to make it his personal perogative to make Angel feel put on the spot no matter where he goes. If he's not calling the man a trap, he's groping at his pussy and asking "if his balls dropped yet", bares his flat chest to the whole school, steals his clothes after swim class and forces him to walk around with a towel because he has too much pride to beg Whitney for them. He knows when Angel is running low on money though, because he'll stiffen his upper lip and grovel proper. But it's also the worst mistake he could have ever made - to assume that Whitney is placated by the one time. If he knows Angels willing to do it once, he's going to do it again. If not, his lackies have no problem helping Angel come to a compromise.

Angel's defiance against Whitney is a fickle thing. Sometimes he doesn't struggle. Other times Whitney is risking life and limb trying to fuck with him. I feel like it would eventually taper out into a begrudging respect, because I can imagine Angel hanging out with Whitney (maybe against his will, maybe not.)

Kylar and Angel used to be good friends. Over the summer they totally grew apart though - Angel was going through his own stuff - and going from almost inseparable to no contact was too much for Kylar to bare. He tried to stiffen his upper lip - tries to come back in small ways. Like feeding Angel's ants whenever he neglected them, putting little gifts under his pillow, keeping an eye on him and making sure he was being safe,

and being able to watch him slowly change over that seemingly insignificant stretch of time did something to him man.

Angel was so perfect. A nice girl who used to watch him draw in art class, and didn't say much herself, opting to observe as opposed to talk. She was so pretty ...

Not so much so outgoing, but very attentive and on point. Wouldn't let him trample the flowers in the park, and when it was just the two of them at the lake, didn't mind him seeing her topless. Maybe it was a little ambitious of him to think of Angel being the perfect mom.
