the atmosphere for boss fights in souls games is incredible etc. etc. but playing inappropriately upbeat music over the top of them is really fucking funny

i get how some of u must hav felt playing dark souls 2 now. cause im rlly not enjoying ds3 like i think i straight up do not like it and it’s sullying my experience of the bosses ngl. like. dancer was an awesome boss and i adored it but i enjoyed it less than i wanted bc i wasn’t enjoying the rest of the game all that much. same w oceiros and champion gundyr. and the twin princes fight rn i am rlly struggling with. not because im finding it particularly difficult but bc im not having all that much fun anymore. and don’t get me started on sister friede. i hav thoughts on that fight but idk if i wanna be the one to air those controversial thoughts
