I personally have a hate relationship with the film "DOGMA"

Because on one hand it's a fucking parody with a shit-monster (and I mean LITERALLY) and an angel convincing a nun to be a slut

but on the other it was the first film I saw that pointed out Jesus was black and loved to hear normal stories about normal people!

Fox's Coping Mechanism

Fox, talking to himself while pacing in his tiny workspace: It had come to the attention of the Marshal Commander, that in the last 47 hours there had been multiple power-outages throughout all of the barracks. Could this be an electrical issue? Or perhaps a sinister plot to send the Coruscant Guard into further disarray...? Slick, watching from the doorway and very weirded out by Fox's bizarre 3rd person narrations: What the kark... Dogma, starry-eyed as he too watches Fox from the doorway: He's so cool and mysterious... Slick, flicking him on the ear: He's a freak, just like Commander Cody.

The Mistakist Declaration by Harmony Korine

1. i have never been one to gravitate toward the labelling of things. But i feel forced to declare my adherance to a mode of creation known as "mistakism." 

2. i am a "mistakist" and all the work I produce adheres to the tenants attached to the label/movement. 

3. (factors involved include) 

4. All modes of work exist to produce a single body of work. each facet builds upon the other. 

5. you can never differentiate between the seperate modes of creation. 

6. A completely unified aesthetic. 

7. Mistakes are good. 

8. there is no such thing as a true mistake. only a more modern rethinking. 

9. Suicide is a show of strength. 

10. only in randomness and "mistakes" can one truely announce what is too deep to express in a direct and true way. 

11. football games, science projects and explosions. 

12. rather than direct a scene - document the action 

13. Provocations 

14. Heritage - Lineage - Prejudice. 

15. grammer means more when words are mispelled and used incorrectly in the traditional sense of the word.

19. A "Mistakist" must believe in God over all else.

Jay in coloured pencil! Didn’t spend as long on him as Nancy. I really did this to get me drawing, today, so he did not turn out as well. But, I loved the picture of Jay, looking all serene after God kissed him, and I had to draw him!
