sylvester does let heartthrob in. i feel he would at least be aware that they know each other, and would say "yeah, hes fine, come in"

i feel like he also does wanna know if heartthrob's there to take stone back, because based on very loose hybrid law technicalities, he could count as military equipment and sylvester doesnt wanna get in trouble for potential theft

... however, he has built-up rage at said hybrid laws and is doesnt want dog hybrid!grim reaper!stone to be taken back and continueously abused there... so. no matter what, he's doing the same thing again, and is handing stone his spare house keys.

he doesnt care if he wants to live with him, go with heartthrob, or go back to base, he just wants him to have the keys. just in case something happens

Heartthrob's not there to take Dog Hybrid!Grim Reaper!Stone back, well not to the military at least. He might take Grim Reaper to a safe house so Sylvester doesn't get in trouble with the military, if the military really truly wants Dog Hybrid!Stone back.

Then again, the military probably already thinks Grim Reaper is dead and they're like "Finally, we're free of him." Because that's the entire reason why they let him behind.

I'm now imagining Dog Hybrid!Grim Reaper!Stone doesn't want to leave Sylvester but he also doesn't Heartthrob to go. So he gives Sylvester the puppy dog eyes to not only allow him to stay but also Heartthrob.

Dog!Kali is living his best life. He doesn't care that he hasn't shifted back into human form for a while, he's getting pets and treats. And being treated so much better than he was when he was being a human in society and working on his parents' ranch.

And I mean, he's a good guard dog for Charlie. The Marines had trained him to use his hybrid self as an advantage for them. (Oh my god this is like Dog Hybrid!Grim Reaper!Stone where they made his dog form into a weapon they could use.)

It's fine, though, Dog!Kali at least knows there's a difference in how Butcher's treating him than how the Marines treated him. I do feel like Butcher can feel the scars he got while in dog form through his fur.

all i can say is charlie adores dog!kali. does it help he wasnt there to witness the fight he had w stone? yes. has he ever even seen kalis human form? probably not. but he does know he loves him when hes a big ol puppy <3

i want soft for him. just reader fuckying and wuckying their way into getting Stone out of the marines and into their house (reader has dirt on everyone and if Stone isn't handed over they are leaking everything) now reader can pamper Stone and gently brush his fur and teach him that they won't hurt him and that he doesn't need to growl or snarl. reader doesn't neglect him, takes care of him and helps him find hobbies and interests. reader soothes Stones scars and feed him plentiful meals (taking the first bite so he feels safe ofc) so he can recover because reader's like a grandma and Stone is "too thin" in their humble opinion. Stone gets soft clothes that don't irritate his scars and plenty of warm baths i just want him to be happy you can't stop me

It's a long road to happiness for Dog Hybrid!Grim Reaper!Stone. Once he trusts you though, he'd love to lay at your feet while you do your thing, his tongue sticking out of his mouth as he sleeps. He deserves to have the attack dog in him soothed and loved on so much that he turns into a house dog, a pampered dog.

He growls and snarls because that's how his father acts and he's supposed to be just like his father. He gets paraded around like a prized attack dog but the Marine Corps neglect him when no one's looking.

im going trough like the 2nd heatwave this month and im staring at dog hybrid grim reaper sadly,,, i want to cuddle with him but if someone has the audacity to even touch me in this heat i think i will break something. so. :(

sylvester's clocking that heartthrob staring uncomfortably at frost and blackout because he knows them for one reason or another. he's been there, done that with his own colleagues. still teases him like "well? you gonna keep staring at them or finally introduce me to your pals, hm? or do i gotta ask katie myself?"

(It's not Heartthrob's fault, Blackout's the one who always starts the bar fights with random drunkards and The Tigers just have to jump in to stop Blackout from being beaten to a pulp.)

But Mārīte's comment finally leads Grim Reaper thinking about his name and how he wants to change it. And then he eventually changes it to Vikram and goes to tell Sylvester, looking so pleased with himself at the name he chose.

sylvester confesses first (miracle, i know) by just saying to heartthrob "yknow... i wouldnt mind living with you and grim reaper. and... i'd like to hope the kid would be fine with it too" on a random evening, when he's about to leave to go back to his own place. on the damn doorstep. which barely can even classify as a confession, but hey, he at least said *something*

imagining that heartthrob maybe bluescreens for a sec, and in the time it takes him to respond, sylvester's already on the motorcycle and. off he goes.

Heartthrob totally just freezes and by the time he gets his bearings, Sylvester's gone. So he goes back inside and flops himself next to Dog Hybrid!Grim Reaper!Stone.

Heartthrob, burying his head into the crook of Grim Reaper's neck: Sylvester confessed his feelings for me and I froze for so long that he left before I could respond.

The next time Heartthrob, Dog Hybrid!Grim Reaper!Stone, and Akhil come over, Heartthrob just blurts out, "I like you too. Can I kiss you?"

dog hybrid!grim reaper better be prepared for mārīte's fear to hold her back from him for *months*. maybe even around a year. she's telling me she does like heartthrob, and feels safer around stone whenever he's there and supervising

imagining one day, when grim reaper and heartthrob are over, she leaves her room, and while walking past grim reaper, she just sorta bumps her head against his shoulder. thats how he can tell she finally isnt scared of him. small little bits of physical affection. granted, she still gets uneasy when alone with him and whenever he growls or bares his teeth, but. progress. teeny tiny baby steps

sylvester, in all honestly, is utterly endeared by heartthrob, but he feels like he's infringing on whatever secret relationship they might have. he does offer to help out around his own place whenever he's over. or maybe he just notices small things like the lightbulbs being a bit dim and changes them without asking, or replaces an old and crusty phone charger with something higher quality

idk. mārīte shows love by affection and sylvester: by actions. yeah :) and boy do they both have a lot of love stored into them thats sloooowly seeping trough

Heartthrob is very appreciative of Sylvester changing the lightbulbs without asking or replacing an old phone charger. He's also appreciative of how well Sylvester is with Akhil (I'm so sorry that I forgot about you for a second, Akhil).

Grim Reaper 100% drags Sylvester and Heartthrob in a bed to cuddle with them both and he sprawls between them. Is he going to make them both confess their feelings for one another by having them be around each other constantly? Yes, yes, he is.
