This drawing is based on a dream I had yesterday haha, I dreamed that Joris was going on an adventure or a trip with Kerubim, Atcham and Ush, but these three were babies that Joris was the one who took care of them. I thought it was so cute that I wanted to recreate this dream 💕💕

I think I will draw Joris more times with the three kittens 😆✨

I'm not going to pretend that Ecaflip is a good dad in any way, but I won't lie: Episode 5 of "The Treasures of Kerubim" is one of my favorites simply because Ecaflip is there for his favorite son.

First, it reminds us that being a god’s favorite isn’t necessarily a good thing—especially when Kerubim, in a fit of drunken boasting, invokes his name as a witness, forcing him to follow through on his word.

Then Kerubim kicks off his own comedy show and Ecaflip honesly looks like a parent at an end-of-year school performance. He genuinely enjoys his son’s silly antics—after all, the reason Kerubim is his favorite is that he made him laugh in the first place.

His banana even becomes the reason he ultimately manages to win his dare, showcasing once again his greatest blessing to his son: luck, even if it doesn’t always lead to a good outcome.

Finally, he disappears from the audience when Kerubim hurts himself just for laughs, showing that he doesn’t actually enjoy seeing his son get hurt.

Once again, Ecaflip is not a good dad, but it’s really cute to see a god go out of his way just to watch his son being silly.

That question(s) being... What exactly happened to Joris when he went out of the bunker? How old was he? Since by the way it is mentioned, it makes me think that Joris spend his, if not, most of his childhood inside a bunker

Hello!! Sorry for the long answer!! I'll start with the second question. Well.. Joris is OLD. Very old. All the events of the treasures of kerubim, the dofus movie and etc. are canon, the war takes place after them. So Joris had a completely normal childhood! It's worth mentioning that the instigators of the war were Bonta and Brakmar (who would have doubted it…) and they also contributed to a sharp leap in technology. Joris participated in the war on Bonta's side, but when he realized that it would not lead to anything good, he tried to stop it. But by the time he came to his senses, it was too late. He found himself with his sons near the shelter by pure chance, which is why they were able to survive. Joris was broken - he blamed himself for helping in the war and not stopping it at the very beginning (when it was possible). About the first question.. Well, it's not something specific. Immorality, cruelty… Joris tried to help people many times, after which they betrayed him. That's why he became more cautious.

Idk even remember how it happened. I was in highschool (sophmore i think?) And I came across this random show called Dofus: Treasures of Kerubim. I enjoyed it and looked a little more into it. I seen a grown up Joris and started crushing on him. Then I came across Wakfu and thought it was very interesting and entertaining.

I looked at the sub version cuz the dubbing was mediocre in my opinion. Eventually I came across season 3 (the dub one cuz they had professional voice actors) and started crushing on Adamai too cuz I have weird taste apparently lol!

But yeah, I love Wakfu and making an Oc now :)!

Reviewing various Dofus-related merch without buying the merch in question [PART 1]

This post will not go into details on the Dofus novels, which were already discussed, and most of which are not buyable on the Ankama website, or available digitally anywhere on the internet (PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE SCAN OR PHOTOGRAPH THEM AND SEND THEM TO ME I PROMISE TO BE NORMAL AND——)

But it will go into another type of book (that I would like to solicit the scans/HD photos of, from you, dear followers) today: The Dofus Activity books for kids (which are, weirdly, easier to get, considering all of them are on the Ankama store? Weird.)

The reader solves puzzles in a choose-your-own-adventure style, and the whole book is structured kinda like an episode. Can you feel the pain I feel knowing I'll never read any of these goddamn books?? 😭 i guess you win some you lose some. this is my cosmic punishment for owning five gravity falls books.

In a bid to catch up my Tumblr with the rest of my socials, I thought it would be a good start to upload some of my character reference sheets (particularly from the Wakfu fandom!) However, unlike a reasonable person who'd acknowledge their best recognised characters first, I instead opt to introduce an entirely new one lmao. Fallon Galilei is the father to my best-known OC Zeral Prong, and he was my bid to flesh out a little more of Zee's murky past. I haven't done much with him yet, but he was the man intended to become the next head of the cult of the Mad Xelor (a figurehead know in the Dofus: Treasures of Kerubim shorts). Family wise, his sits at the top whereas Zee's and Yaniv's mother, and Yaniv's father, are a relatively unimportant. The cult has a very strict structure where the branch of your family dictates your position, and an illegitimate child would complicate that. Fallon chose to abandon Zeral not long after his birth and as a result the poor boy suffered. But karma gets back to him when his son's half-brother steals his position away from him!

Once I'm a little more settled, I might info dump some proper lore, but till then!

other recs i got: "Mao Mao: Heroes of Pure Heart" and "Legendz". alsooo I would personally recommend "Dofus: the Treasures of Kerubim" (even if the ensemble cast is? not quite there? but) it's one of my favourite cartoons ^^

For this one, haven’t seen Legendz but have seen the other 2 (well for Kerubim I’ve seen all that are available in the US tho I’ve been meaning to use my VPN to watch the rest at some point).
