Warnings: Corruption kink(kinda), dry humping, fingering, blowjob, loss of virginity, unprotected sex, pet names(princess, baby), Chan is cocky as fuck(and I'm here for it, stan cocky Bangchan), reader gets kinda insecure close to the end(let me know if I missed something)
A/N: should I be answering my requests or updating my series? Yes, did I spend too much time in a super long self indulgent oneshot? I did. It was supposed to be just smut with corruption kink đ turns out I can't write the porn without the plot.
It all started as a game for him. He just didn't guess how much you would mess with his head.
Bang Chan doesn't care much about college, with a promising career in music, he's just attending classes so his parents won't nag him too much.
That means he's bored all the time.
So when Jeongin, his youngest friend, begged him to win his girlfriend's sister over and date her for a bit, he almost accepted right away, yearning for some fun. But he didn't, not before knowing who you were.
That's how he ended up here, trying to find you in the middle of communication class. He didn't need to look too much, from Jeonginâs description, he could find you in the blink of an eye.
âA pretty girl, probably wearing black or some neutral color and she'll probably be in a corner. She's very shy, when you speak to her don't be too straightforward, you may scare herâ
The way Jeongin described you didn't show any ill intent and he was always a good guy, that's why Chan considered accepting his offer in the first place. He must have his reasons for almost kneeling in front of his friend, asking for him to date you.
Chan sits behind you, observing every movement you make. You're indeed pretty and you really are shy. He notices how you want to raise your hand every time the professor asks a question, but you always hesitate and someone speaks over you. Every time you try to speak, some rude person cuts you and instead of getting mad, your face turns red and you shrink in your seat, trying to make yourself even more invisible.
There's something about you, Chan can't tell what it is, but it's something amusing about how you behave. Someone like you could have every guy in this university wrapped around your little finger and every girl wanting to be your friend.
As soon as the class ends, Chan sends a text to Jeongin, telling him he will do it. He doesn't waste time, waiting for everyone to get out of the classroom while you're still collecting your things.
âHeyâ, he says out of nowhere, making you jump and look at him with huge doe eyes. âI'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare youâ.
He kinda did want that, though, curious to see how you would react, he thought maybe you would raise your voice and curse him, but you reacted as calmly as possible.
âIt's okayâ, you mumble.
You keep organizing your things, trying to ignore his presence.
âSo, I wanted to ask if you can let me borrow your notesâ, he asks, making puppy eyes.
You turn back to him and Chan can almost see the gears turning inside your head.
âWhy does he want my notes if he just attended the same class?â It's written all over your face.
âI pulled an all nighter studying for another class and kind of dozed off earlierâ, he lies, smiling sheepishly while scratching the back of his neck.
You stare at him for a bit, pondering if you should say yes, actually, let's be real: can you even say no?
This is Bang Chan, handsome and popular, everyone knows him and the other two guys from 3racha. The last you heard, he didn't care much about classes since he's already progressing in his music career so you still don't understand why he wants to borrow your notes.
âYeah, okayâ, you nod, deciding to agree so this conversation can be over soon. You pull your notebook out of your bag and hand it to him. âJust make sure to give it back by next classâ
âSure, thanksâ, he gives you a big bright smile that makes you gulp while staring at him, just a few minutes in his presence and you already know something very important: this man is dangerous.
You look around awkwardly, not knowing what Chan wants more. He's just standing there, staring at you.
âI'll get going thenâ, you sigh, feeling exhausted by this whole interaction.
You turn around, walking to the door, leaving Chan there, dumbstruck. Jeongin was right, you have no social skills, but you're much more entertaining than he made you out to be.
â
You're having lunch with Yuna, your sister, and Jeongin, her boyfriend, in the cafeteria. You like spending time with them, they are probably the only people you feel comfortable around in this university.
You met Jeongin three months ago. Your sister came home giggling like a child on Christmas, sat on your bed and told you she got a boyfriend.
You ran to your door, closing it after checking that your parents weren't around. There's only one rule in the house: your younger sister must not date before you do.
Your parents are not conservative or anything like that, they just had you two later than other parents, so they are very overprotective. You don't know exactly the reason why they set this rule, maybe it's because they are sure you're never going to date.
Yuna is your best friend, she was a sickly child so all those interactions and fights that normal sisters have, you didn't. You spent most of her childhood and a huge part of yours by her side in the hospital. Fortunately, she was able to go back to a normal life by the time she was becoming a teenager, she was always a social butterfly even in the hospital everyone loved her.
You always thought it was unfair that she had to wait to have a boyfriend simply because you are not interesting enough or can't even hold a conversation properly without stuttering, but there was nothing you could do about it. You even tried arguing with your parents about it but it always ended with them telling you to forget about it.
You see Jeongin waving to someone, something is off, they never invite anyone to eat with them. A tray is settled by your side and you look at the person who sits in the seat next to yours: Bang Chan.
âHello againâ, he smiles at you, a handsome smile with dimples showing and everything. He greets the others after.
You look at Yuna and Jeongin, she is frowning just like you and her boyfriend is eating like this is an ordinary situation in your daily lunch.
âHiâ, you sister answers, âI don't think we met beforeâ
âOh, yeah, I'm Bang Chan!â He stretches his hand so she can shake it. âJeongin is an old friend and I have communication class with y/nâ
âAhâ, she nods, looking at her boyfriend. You stay in silence, playing with your food, waiting for Jeongin to send Bang Chan away.
âBabe, I forgot I have a project due tonightâ, Jeongin says, slapping the palm of his hand on his forehead. He stands up, âcan you help me? Chan will keep y/n company.â
No. You don't want him to keep you company. Your eyes widen and you stare at your sister, trying to send her a mental signal so she won't let you alone with him.
What you don't see, it's that she has already caught up on the way Bang Chan is looking at you and she might think she understands what's happening.
âOkay, yeah. Take care of herâ, your sister says, smiling apologetically to you while she gets up and follows Jeongin out of your sight.
You should just throw your food away and go to the library, maybe you can eat a sandwich.
âWould you like to go on a date with me?â You hear Bang Chan's voice before you can put your plan into practice, turning around to look at him with the most terrified face he ever saw on someone. âOuch, does the idea scare you so much?â He jokes.
âWhy would you want to go on a date with me? We just met yesterdayâ, you point out, holding yourself back so you won't just stand up and run away.
âI find you interesting, it's just a date so we can get to know each other betterâ, he shrugs. He's so nonchalant about it, while you're freaking out inside.
âI don't think that's a good idea, I'm not good at keeping conversations, you'll get boredâ, you say frantically. You just didn't expect him to laugh.
âI can do all the talking, I love to talk"
Chan knows this move is risky and there's a high probability you won't accept, but he just felt like asking you at that moment.
âAre you sure you won't get bored?â You ask.
His eyes widen and he nods, are you really considering it?
You are, obviously. You bet no one could ever guess, but Bang Chan is your ideal type, actually he is probably everyone's ideal type.
He has the kindest smile you have ever seen and the way his eyes turn into crescents when he's smiling makes your legs weak. He met you yesterday, but you know him since 3racha performed in the universityâs festival last year. Since the first time you two crossed paths, everything about him, appearance wise, seemed appealing: his dark eyes, his smile, his dark curls, his broad shoulders and his muscular body. That's why you freaked out so much when he spoke to you yesterday, you never thought he would give you the time of day. So you would be dumb to reject his offer.
âOkayâ, you nod, handing your phone to him. âYou can put your number there, I'll text you so you can save my contactâ, you say and he stares at the device for a few moments before picking it up and typing his number.
This was easier than he thought.
â
âDo you have pepper spray with you?â Your mother asks for the 30th time in the last hour.
âYes, mom. I'm going on a date with another student, he's not a criminalâ, you tell her and your father tsks.
âThere are alot of students that commit crimesâ, he says.
âI knowâ, you sigh, âdon't worry, I have pepper spray, emergency numbers and I'll turn on my localizationâ
Your sister is watching the scene unfolding in front of her, while she chuckles.
âYou shouldn't laugh, if I start dating you will go through the same thing when it's your timeâ, you whisper at her and she sighs.
âYou're not going to this date just so I can officially date Jeongin, right?â
You grin.
âYou think too highly of me, I'm not that selflessâ, you hear the sound of a horn in front of your house, âI'm going on this date because he's hotâ
Chan thought you were pretty in your everyday clothes but after seeing you ready for your date he just couldn't take his eyes off you. You're wearing a little sundress with thin straps holding your much too generous and low cleavage. Your hair is down and your lips are red with lipstick.
He's waiting for you outside of the car so he can open the door for you, but when you stop in front of him, he just doesn't move.
You frown, waving a hand in front of his face.
âAre you okay?â You ask and he snaps out of his daze.
âYeah, you're just too prettyâ, he tells you honestly, âI just couldn't believe I'm so luckyâ
You feel your skin hotter, you're sure your whole face must be red like a tomato.
The restaurant you are going to have dinner at is a bit further than you thought, it takes at least one hour by car to get there.
âWere all the places close to the city closed?â You try making a joke and he smiles.
âConsidering your personality, I thought you would like this place betterâ, he tells you while you go in. A person greets you two, leading you inside. There's no open space, the building is full of rooms and you're guided to one of those. There's a glass wall in the back of the room with a view to a lake and a waterfall, there's colorful lights everywhere, making it even more beautiful.
âSo, when I was searching for a nice place to go on a date, I came across this one.â Chan starts speaking and you notice there's a small stove on top of the table. âThere's no attendants, so we will cook our own food and only call them if we want more servingsâ, he explains, pulling the chair so you can sit.
âOhâ, you feel a weird feeling on your stomach, are these the butterflies your sister told you about? You never knew something like this existed and the fact that he was attentive enough to take your shyness into consideration while choosing the place of your date makes you melt inside. âThank youâ, you tell him after sitting.
You don't shut up the whole night. This is the first time you feel so comfortable with someone other than your family.
âSo, you want to work with entertainment?â He asks surprised.
âYes, I really like the whole thing about managing an artist, it sound excitingâ, you smile happily, âwho knows, maybe one day I can manage 3rachaâ
âYou have heard 3racha?â Chan asks, surprised.
âI really like your musicâ, you tell him, âbesides, everyone knows about you guysâ
âYeah, but I didn't know you knew about usâ, he smiles charmingly, leaning on the table while clasping his hands. âSo does that win me some points? Maybe a kiss?â
You already are red because of the wine, now you feel your whole face hot. You're already feeling a bit out of it, not drunk enough to make a bad decision but definitely drunk enough to lose a bit of your shyness.
âI don't know how to kissâ, you say simply, no further explanation.
Chan almost chokes on the air he just breathed, he didn't think you would be so blunt about it. Curiously, he finds your innocent face while saying that too enticing.
âI can help you with thatâ, he says, tilting his head and winking.
âWould you really?â You ask and he nods. âLike now?â
Chan didn't expect that to happen so soon, especially with someone as shy as you. But he won't refuse your offer.
âAre you done?â He asks, eagerly, standing up and you nod. Chan stretches his hand to you, waiting for you to hold it.
He takes you to his car, helping you get in and fastening your seatbelt. He's not in his right mind, not at all, he didn't even drink so why is he so excited? He doesn't think he ever felt this way about a kiss. He drives for a while, looking for the drive in movie theater he had read about while looking for the restaurant.
After fifteen minutes he parks his car behind others, there are a lot of people there to watch the movie.
You have your hands on your lap, fidgeting with your fingers nervously. It's so endearing how innocent you are.
âWould you like to take a seat?â He asks and you frown, looking around and then looking at him. You are already seated.
He tilts his head, chuckling and patting his lap. You nod so fast, it's embarrassing. He smiles, seeing you climb on top of him, legs are over the cup holder, you're using him as a literal seat.
âYou never kissed anyone?â He asks, while you adjust yourself on top of him, his breath hitting your neck, making goosebumps rise all over your body. You shake your head, feeling a bit insecure, what if you are no good?
Chan bites on his lower lip, shifting a bit so you won't feel his hardening cock under you, you're just too cute, too sexy.
âOkay, I'll go slowly, we can stop anytime you wantâ, he tells you, brushing his hand on your arm all the way to your neck, making you close your eyes to his touch. He pulls your face closer, touching your lips with his, it's warm and soft, it feels like heaven.
He brings his other hand to your cheek, caressing. He pulls back a bit, just enough so he can speak.
âOpen your mouth for me, babyâ, he tells you and you obey instantly, feeling his lips back on yours. His tongue brushes against yours and you whine, lifting your hands to grab on his shoulders to steady yourself, causing your ass to rub on his cock. Chan groans, making you flinch, did you do something wrong?
He notices your hesitancy, so he slides his hand to your waist, squeezing you in reassurance.
âAre you sure you have never done this?â He asks playfully and you smile, shyly.
âCan- Can we do it again?â You whisper, making him chuckle. Dear god, would he be able to stop this with just kisses?
âDid you like kissing me, princess?â He teases, seeing you blush. Chan wraps his arm around your waist, pulling you even closer. He lands a kiss on your exposed collarbone, tracing kisses up to your neck.
âYou smell so goodâ, he tells you before leaving a kiss on your jaw, then on your chin and finally a peck on your lips.
âMust taste even betterâ, he thinks, smiling to himself.
Your phone starts ringing, taking you two out of that hazy atmosphere. You feel embarrassed now, not believing you actually acted that way. Going back to your seat, you pick up the call, it's Yuna.
âMom and dad are freaking out because you stopped moving for too longâ, she whispers. Shit, you forgot your localization was turned.
âTell them you called Chan and I'm alright, my phone just diedâ, you instruct her.
âYeah, got it, just hurryâ
Chan probably heard the conversation, but you still feel upset that he started the car right away and drove fast back to your home.
When you arrive in front of your house, you're not sure if you should kiss him goodnight or just wave, both are awkward options for you, so you go with the one you want the most.
You grab his arm and pull him closer to you, kissing him on the lips. Chan is quite surprised with your bold action, but he won't complain, he can't get enough of your lips.
âI will text you when I get homeâ, he says after pulling away and you nod.
You get out of the car and walk to your door, stealing glances at Chan. He's giggling at your antics, watching until you are safe inside your house.
He should be thankful to Jeongin, he's finally having a good time.
â
Chan is taking his mission seriously, he's texting you everyday and even stopped seeing all his fuck buddies. This is the closest he ever got to a relationship, but you're not official yet.
Especially not when you're avoiding him like the plague when it comes to meeting face to face. You answer his texts normally but he has to literally hunt you down so he can find you in this damn university and if you see him before he sees you, it's game over, you'll hide immediately and he has to begin his search all over again.
This time, though, he caught you off guard. You are at the library, seated alone, trying to focus on the book you have in your hands.
He smiles to himself, knowing you can't escape anymore. Chan leans over, caging your body with his two hands around you, gripping the table.
âI missed you, babyâ, he whispers and you shiver, feeling butterflies on your stomach.
âH-hiâ, you say, closing your book and taking a deep breath.
You will not try and pretend you didn't hide from him for almost a week. But that's not your fault, it's your brain's.
After Chan left you home, you ran to your room, still feeling all tingly and hot from kissing him. Since Yuna didn't come to your room you guessed she was already asleep, so you took your makeup off, took a long bath and snuggled in your nice sheets.
The thing is: you had the most lewd, filthy, awfully good dream that night. You could never even say the things Chan did to you in that dream out loud.
You woke up sweaty, heavy breathing and panties soaked, this never happened to you before.
You just couldn't look at his face after that, you felt dirty and guilty with having those thoughts about such a nice guy.
âAm I wrong or were you avoiding me?â He asks, not moving from behind you.
âNo- I wasn'tâ, you turn around to look at him, bumping into his face too close from yours. He glances at your lips, biting his lower one and chuckles. âI was just, hm, kinda embarrassedâ, you tell him, aware that he's going to know right away if you try lying.
âEmbarrassed about what?â He asks, tilting his head.
âI don't knowâ, you look away, trying not to give in and tell him about your dream.
âI think you should come to my place so we can talk about itâ, he says and you choke on your own spit, struggling to function correctly. Did he just ask you to go to his house? Just you? And him? Just the two of you?
The apartment is not far from the campus, it's a maximum twenty minutes walk. The building is nice and modern, it absolutely matches what you had imagined Chanâs place would look like.
His apartment is huge, it's not possible that he lives there alone.
âI have three roommates, Jisung and Changbin you already know and Hyunjin, he's an arts majorâ
âHwang Hyunjin? I know him, he's friends with my sisterâ, Chan nods, he forgot your sister dates Jeongin, she probably knows his entire group of friends.
âDo you want to drink something?â He asks, looking at you while you walk around the living room, looking at every corner but not at him.
âWater is fineâ, you say, looking at some pictures he has with his friends. He always has that breathtaking smile that makes all your insides turn around.
âWhat about watching a movie?â He asks out of nowhere, sitting on the sofa. He looks at you, an arm resting on the back of the sofa.
âSureâ, you walk to him, sitting on the far corner. Chan has to bite back a laugh so you won't feel embarrassed, do you really think it's so easy for you to get away from him?
He turns on the movie, adjusting himself on his seat. You're really trying to pay attention to what's going on on the screen, but you just can't. Not when Chan's scent is all over the place, making you remember about your dirty dream.
He knows you're restless, he can see you fidgeting by his peripheral vision.
âAre you uncomfortable?â He asks, turning his head towards you, with a smirk plastered on his lips. âMaybe you can sit here again, I'm sure you are going to like it betterâ, he pats on his lap.
You feel your face red.
âStop teasingâ, you mumble, pouting, âthat's not niceâ
He chuckles. If you're not coming to him, he has no problem going to you, so Chan slides his body closer, making you stare at him with a frown.
He raises his hand to your face, cupping it and caressing your cheek.
âTell me you don't want this, princess, I'll stopâ, he says. But you want this more than anything in the world, how could you not?
You lean a bit, trying to close the gap between your mouths. Oh, how much Chan missed your soft lips, he felt almost like going through a withdrawal staying so long without kissing you.
You learn fast, your mouth opens right away after your lips touch. In a bold move, your tongue is the one to look for his first, making him groan. He puts his right hand on your thigh, squeezing it harder than he predicted, but he didn't predict the bite you would give on his lip at that exact moment.
Chan grabs your hip, pulling you up to his lap, this time with a leg on each side of him. You're looking at him in that innocent way when all he has on his mind are the dirtiest thoughts. He caresses your thigh, sliding his hand to grab your ass and pulling you closer to him.
âWill you tell me now, why you were embarrassed? You looked pretty fine when I left you home after our dateâ, he asks and you blush instantly, oh, you forgot about the reason you are here. You can't tell him about your dream, you'll die of embarrassment if you do.
âIt was- nothingâ, you lie, avoiding his eyes. Chan noticed this already, you always look anywhere but him when you are lying to him.
Maybe he'll have to make you tell the truth.
âReally?â He says, skeptical. âThen you were just being mean? Playing with my feelings after just one date?â He's teasing, he knows you'll give in eventually, it's just a question of time.
âNo, I wasn'tâ, you argue, with a frown on your face, your lips shut tight in a pout.
âBabyâ, he calls, your legs would definitely give out if he called you like that while you were standing. âI don't like liarsâ
Chan slides his hands up to your ass, grabbing a handful and pulling you closer. You can already feel something hard beneath you, making you shift and adjust on his lap, involuntarily seeking some friction. Your core is aching, just by staying so close to him.
âI'm not lying, that's meanâ, you try changing the subject and he chuckles.
Chan comes closer, lips brushing against yours, his breathing hitting on your mouth, everything just making the wet spot on your panties grow bigger and bigger. He kisses you, a nice and soft kiss with his tongue caressing yours gently.
Chan notices that you're moving your hips slightly, trying to feel his cock. He smiles during the kiss, pulling away while putting his hands on your hips, guiding your movements to be harder.
âHmâ, you whine, feeling his hard on giving you the friction you're looking for. His hand cups your cheek, pulling you closer into a kiss again.
You never felt this way, like ever. You did masturbate but it's different to do it with another person. It's just so good to feel Chan's touch on your skin, his breathing, his muscular arms holding you. You feel your orgasm coming, you can't believe you're going to cum by just rubbing yourself on this man.
Chan knows you're almost there, that's when he grabs your hips steadying you, not letting you move further. He earns a whine from you, an angry look on your face.
âI will only let you keep going if you tell me why you were embarrassed and avoided meâ, he says cockyly and you shake your head, trying to move again but his grip on your hips is too strong.
âI don't wannaâ, you tell him.
âThen, I guess you won't be cumming todayâ, he shrugs. âAt least, not with meâ, he smirks to your face becoming even redder.
âYou're such a meanieâ, you whine, pouting, still trying to move again but he just won't let you.
âAre you going to tell me what I want to know?â He tilts his head.
You ponder for a moment, what should you do? It's not going to end here, if you don't tell him right now, you're sure he won't let it go.
âI- I had a dreamâ, you start, trying to gather some courage.
âUhmâ, he nods, âwhat about it?â He asks curiously, feeling strangely aroused by the way you're looking around, lips pulled into a line and the way you're speaking leads him to believe you're talking about a wet dream.
âLi- like one of those dreamsâ, so he was right, did you have a wet dream about him? That's interesting.
âHm, you'll have to be more specific, princessâ, he pushes, âI don't think I know what you're talking aboutâ
âI meanâ, you groan, dropping your head to his shoulder so you won't feel his eyes on you. âA sex dream⊠with youâ, you whisper.
The grin on Chan's face after you finish saying that, is priceless. He can feel his cock twitching, he's eager to know more.
âTell me more about itâ, he presses, âI really wanna know what happened in that dream that left you so embarrassedâ
âPlease, Chan. Don't make me say itâ, you beg, but he's not having it. He likes seeing you blushing and struggling to talk dirty, it's endearing.
âNo can doâ, he grabs your shoulder to pull you away so he can look at your face. âI promise I'll give a nice reward if you tell meâ
You nod. If he won't drop it, then you have to try and earn something over your embarrassing situation.
âI- like- you ate me outâ, you start and he smiles, he would indeed love to do that. âAnd I s-sucked you off, it was niceâ, you stumble over your words in each sentence. Chan can only feel even more turned on, your lips are so soft, he can't even picture what it would feel like to have them wrapped around him.
âKeep going, princess. You're doing greatâ, he reassures you. Chan loosens the grip on your hips, guiding your movements back and forth once again.
âAnd you said all these dirty things to me, I can't say it out loud, pleaseâ, he smirks, pulling you even closer and pressing your covered core against his cock.
âDid I tell you how good it felt to have your pretty little mouth sucking on my cock?â He asks playfully and you nod, feeling the warmth creeping in your face again while that tingly sensation grows bigger in your lower stomach.
âDid we fuck?â He asks, feeling himself getting closer to cum too.
âYeahâ, you nod frantically with your eyes closed shut. âYou fucked me on all fours and in this same position tooâ, you tell him.
âOh? Did you ride me? Did you like it?â
âI didâ, you struggle to make your voice come out, feeling too light headed to even speak properly.
âThere's something more, right, baby?â He feels his cock throbbing, he's almost at his limit.
âYes, you- you choked me a bit, I liked thatâ, and that sentence was enough to make Chan reach his orgasm, being followed by you right after.
He can't believe he really did cum in his pants, like a fucking teenager. It's your fault actually, how can someone make him cum like this and still look angelic and innocent? Like you never told him he choked you and you liked it, even though it was a dream.
Chan kisses you eagerly this time, his chest is feeling hot and he feels a weird sensation on his stomach.
âYou shouldn't feel embarrassed about this kind of thingâ, he tells you and you nod, because it's true, âif it makes you feel better, I'm sure I had worse thoughts about youâ, he smiles, seeing you blush.
âLike what?â You ask, curiously.
âOh, I won't tell youâ, he shakes his head, âyou would never look at me again if you knew all the dirty things I wanna do to youâ
â
Another week went by and now you were not avoiding Chan anymore. He follows you around pretty much all day at school, stealing kisses and pulling you to empty classrooms to have make out sessions.
It's time for him to meet your parents, it's not something he ever did, he never dated anyone after all. It's a Wednesday night, he brought flowers and a bottle of wine. So five minutes before the set time, he's knocking at your door.
Your sister opens up, greeting him but you're nowhere to be found until he hears your voice from upstairs.
âIs he already here?â You sound panicked and your sister giggles.
âYes! Hurry upâ, she says and Chan hears something falling and making a weird noise. It was not loud enough to be a person so he's not worried you fell, but he finds it funny to think about you nervously stumbling around.
When you show up at the top of the stairs, he has to blink a few times to actually believe you're real. You look so beautiful, showing your nice legs in a short skirt and your shoulders in a tank top.
âHeyâ, you greet him, looking at the things he has in hands and he finally regains his composure.
âHiâ, he gives you a peck on the lips, âthis is for youâ he hands you a bouquet of red camellias.
You stop for a second, you never received flowers. Before you can answer him, your father's head is popping out of the living room.
âWhy is it taking so long for you to bring this guy inside?â, he asks grumpy, he's not too happy about you dating but there's nothing he can do about it.
Chan straightens himself, walking to your father to greet him.
âGood night, sir. I'm Bang Chanâ, he clears his throat when your father doesn't say a thing, just staring at him. âI brought this for youâ, he shows the wine bottle and your father takes it.
âAt least you have good tasteâ, he nods to the wine bottle Chan stole from his father's collection.
He turns around, shrugging to you and you smile, listening to your sister's chuckles. You take his hand into yours, interlacing your fingers.
In the living room there's a woman that looks too much like you and your sister to not be your mother, she smiles kindly at you two.
She's less intimidating than your father so Chan's greetings to her are less awkward this time. As time goes by, your parents warm up to him, making jokes and even telling him about your childhood.
âThe night went greatâ, you say while walking Chan to his car. âThank you for comingâ
âYour parents are greatâ, he says, leaning on the door of his car. He takes your hands in his and pulls you closer, wrapping his arms around your waist. âThank you for inviting meâ
He looks so good tonight, his dark hair is carefully styled and he's wearing much more formal clothes than usual, making him look like a prince.
âCan I have a good nightâs kiss?â He asks, slyly, seeing you eyeing him up. You nod, putting your hands on his chest and closing the gap between your mouths. Chan's hands slide from your waist to your ass, squeezing slightly, he can't get too into it since he won't be able to go further than a kiss tonight.
You pull away from him when you have to breathe, his lips are so inviting you could kiss him all night long.
âI will see you tomorrowâ, he tells you.
There's something wrong with his heart, it's beating so fast he thinks he may be dying. After driving away from you, he calms himself a bit. It's not possible that you were the cause of that reaction, right? This is supposed to be fun, he only has to date you for a while and then break up, no strings attached. So why does he feel such hurt in his chest after thinking about leaving you?
After one more long and sleepless night Chan realized something: he is in love. This feeling snuck in so unexpectedly he didn't even notice he was falling in love. Chan never fell in love before, so he can only guess that this is how it feels to love someone.
He notices every little detail about you, he jokes around all the time waiting to hear you laugh about something he says. Chan likes the way you smell, the way you smile, the way you just look at him so focused while he is speaking. He is in love with your personality, your cleverness, your kindness, your beauty is just a bonus that makes him even more in love with you.
He wants to confess to you, ask you to be his girlfriend, to never leave him.
He even asked for your sister's help to make something for you, maybe a song, he can definitely make something beautiful and romantic for you. Maybe he can cook too, he wants to make you feel appreciated.
He's waiting for your class to finish, seated on the bench in front of the classroom while scrolling through his phone.
He feels someone sitting by his side and before he can look, a kiss lands onto his cheek. Chan puts his hand on his face, blushing and you laugh seeing his reaction. You two did much more than just a kiss on the cheek, why is he embarrassed about it?
âDid you miss me?â You ask him and he rolls his eyes.
âOf course I didâ, he grabs your hand, interlacing your fingers. âShould we go to my place?â He asks and you nod, standing up, pulling him to get up too.
It's still a bit weird that you two are together, you never thought liking someone as much as you like Chan could actually happen to you, you could even say you're in love. The only thing that still makes you doubtful is the fact that he didn't ask you to be his girlfriend yet, you have been going out for a month and you do everything together, so why hasn't he made it official?
You still have many questions in your mind, sitting on Chan's bed while he makes popcorn and you choose the movie you're watching tonight.
He enters the room, closing the door and turning off the lights, two water bottles and a huge bowl in his hands.
âWhat movie did you choose?â He asks, but you can't hear it, your mind is too loud. âY/N? Are you alright?â He asks, snapping you out of your thoughts.
âAre we exclusive?â You ask out of nowhere, ripping the air out of his lungs.
âYesâ, he says firmly, âdo you want to be with other people?â
Chan asked that, but he's holding his breath until you answer him, hoping you're going to deny. For a moment, you don't say a thing and seeing you hesitate makes his heart ache.
âNo, I-â you try speaking, trying not to sound ridiculous, âI want to be exclusive, I just don't know if you want thatâ
Chan takes a deep breath, putting the things he has in hands on the nightstand.
âOf course, I want toâ, he takes your hand into his, bringing it to his mouth so he can kiss the palm. He's feeling guilty, he's taking his time preparing a nice confession but you're feeling insecure. âI'm sorry I made you feel like I didn't want things to get more seriousâ, he climbs on the bed, getting closer to you, âlet me show you that you're the only one I want, hum? Can I?â
You suck on your teeth, knowing exactly what is about to happen but you just can't say no to him, let's be real, you don't want to say no to him. So you nod, making him smile.
Chan is eager to have you, he has been for weeks, just waiting for you to be ready to give yourself to him. He cups your face, pulling you closer and kissing you.
He helps you lay down on the bed, towering over you while landing kisses down your neck. You feel him biting on your shoulder and he brings his hands to the hem of your shirt, pulling it up. His hands travel around your body, making you hotter.
âYou're so pretty, princessâ, he says, kissing your chest. You whine, he's taking too much time to get to the place you want the most.
âChannieâ, you whisper, âplease, touch meâ, you ask him.
His smile grows bigger as he mumbles âyour wish is my commandâ. Chan unbuttons your pants, pulling them down your legs, throwing it someplace in the room.
He slides his hand down to your core, your underwear is soaked. He pulls your panties down your legs and brushes a finger along your folds, collecting the wetness before inserting a finger inside, you arch your back to the feeling. It's delicious, but it hurts a bit. It's different from how it feels doing it alone.
âIs this okay?â He asks and you nod. âYou're such a good girl, baby, all wet and ready for me.â He whispers, getting closer to your face again. I'm going to put another oneâ, he tells you. The sensation it's too much already, his fingers are too much.
âChanâ, you moan, âI'm gonna cum if you keep doing thatâ
âOh? But I didn't even get to the better partâ, he answers pressing his thumb on your clit, making circles.
âFuckâ, you whine.
His smirk grows while he keeps the movement of back and forth inside of you. Before he can tease you more, your legs are shaking and your tight hole is clenching around his fingers. You put your hand on your mouth, covering it so you won't make a loud sound, but he doesn't like that. He wants to hear how well he's fucking you.
âLet's not do that, okay? I want you to be loud, want to hear you scream my nameâ He says, pulling his fingers out of you and sliding them on his mouth. He comes closer, kissing your neck and face, helping you calm down after your orgasm.
Goosebumps rise all over your body, his kisses feel like fire on your skin, you thought you'd feel less horny after cumming, but you're still so turned on.
Chan kisses your chest, opening your bra. You feel embarrassed when he sees you completely naked.
âYou're still dressedâ, you point out, face red.
He gets out of the bed immediately, taking his shirt off and his pants too, crawling back to you in only his underwear. His cock is hard, outlined by the thin fabric of his boxers.
You feel the urge to touch him, maybe taste it. So you grab his length, making him groan.
âWhat are you doing, princess?â He asks, eyes closed from the pleasure of having your beautiful hands wrapped around him.
âI want to make you feel goodâ, you tell him, pushing his chest and making him fall on his back on the bed. You kiss his neck the same as he was doing to you, suddenly feeling possessive and sucking on the skin, leaving a few hickeys there.
You go down, kissing his chest and stomach, getting closer and closer to his throbbing cock. You pull his underwear down and his cock spring on your face.
âI just- you need to teach meâ, you tell him. How can you look at him with such innocence in your eyes when you're about to suck him off?
âHold the baseâ, he instructs, ânow you can go up and down with your hand.â
 He feels your movements, making him groan. You are bolder than he gives you credit for, since you lick the head of his cock without being told to. You wrap his dick with your mouth, waiting for the next command.
âYou can go up and down, princess, yes, like thatâ he moans, feeling his cock being embraced by your warm mouth.
Chan feels like exploding any time now, weeks of pent-up sexual tension being released. He sees you rubbing yourself on his bed while sucking on him, that just makes him crazier, he wants to make you feel good now, he can let you do the same for him another time.
âBabyâ, you hear him say and you stop your movements. âI won't be able to last long with your soft mouth doing that, I need to feel you around my cockâ
You nod, letting go of his cock and climbing up, stopping on top of Chan.
âI wanna be on topâ, you say confidently.
âLet's do it slowly okay? I don't want to hurt youâ, Chan tells you and you agree.
He grabs the base of his cock, brushing the head on your folds, trying to wet it enough to make it easier for you.
It feels like heaven when his cock finally slides inside of you, you're so tight he feels like he can cum at any moment.
Chan sees the pain in your eyes, he doesn't move, âdo you want to stop?â He asks worriedly, putting his hands on your hips to stop you from moving but you shake your head.
You keep pushing it in, trying to relax. Chan kisses you, massaging your breasts to help you relax a bit.
When the painful part is gone and you're feeling all the good sensations back, you don't think you can stop, it's too addictive. You start riding on him freely, hands taking support on his chest and head thrown back, the pleasure is just too much, you'll be coming soon.
âFuck, you look so good riding me, princessâ, he says, feeling his own high almost catching him.
âOh, Channie, I'm gonna cumâ, you whine, fastening the movements of your hips, âplease, oh, your cock feels so goodâ
For someone who couldn't talk about a wet dream a few weeks ago you sure talk dirty in real life, Chan chuckles, feeling you clenching around him and when you squeeze his cock for the last time he cums too, filling you up.
You collapse on top of him, breathing heavily. Your eyes are heavy, you're not sure if you can stay awake. Chan caresses your back and plays with your hair, making you fall fast asleep.
You wake up feeling just a bit sore. You're on cloud nine, the night was amazing. When you open your eyes, there's no one in the bed with you. You wrap yourself in the blankets trying to find and collect all your clothes scattered around the room.
The delicious smell that embraces your nose the moment you step out of the room, is enough to make you drool.
Chan is in the kitchen, dressed in nothing but sweatpants and an apron. That's right, he's shirtless. You're feeling bold today, so you get closer to him wrapping your arms around his waist in a back hug.
He lets out a laugh, putting his hand over yours and turning off the stove. He turns around, hugging you.
âDid you sleep well?â He asks, kissing your forehead and you nod, snuggling in his embrace.
âWhy didn't you wake me earlier? I woke up missing youâ
âOw, my baby is so needyâ, he teases, making you pout. âI was making you, breakfastâ
âHmâ, you look at what he was cooking.
âHow are you feeling?â He asks, a bit worried, it was your first time after all.
âI'm doing greatâ, you smile, âjust a bit sore, but it's nothingâ
He nods, putting his hands on your shoulders and turning you around.
âI'm happy to hear thatâ, he kisses the top of your head, guiding you to take a seat on the table. âLet's eat so we can go for another round thenâ, he smirks.
â
âJeongin is coming here today?â You ask your sister and she nods frantically while fixing her hair.
âHe's coming to ask dad's permission to date meâ, she giggles excitedly.
âAlrightâ, you smile seeing your sister so happy.
You're the one opening the door for Jeongin while your sister is getting ready, he's clearly nervous but he's trying to keep his smile.
âHey!â You give space for him to enter, âYuna is almost doneâ
He nods, looking around. Your sister comes down minutes later, leading Jeongin to the living room.
Your father is less hostile to him than he was to Chan, maybe it's because Jeongin is adorable.
After an hour of conversation, you go upstairs, you have a date tonight and need to get ready.
The memories from your night with Chan flood your mind making you giggle and kick your feet, they have been your most cherished thoughts lately. It's a struggle but you finally end your bath after probably an hour.
You walk back to your room, you're already late. However, you stop in front of your sister's room when you hear voices being a little bit too loud.
âYou did what, Jeongin?â your sister's voice is a pitch higher than usual.
âI didn't think things would get out of handâ, Jeongin answers, are they fighting?
âIn what world did you think that was a good idea?â
âI was desperate, I'm not proud of thatâ, he answers back.
âThere's no excuse for you to ask Bangchan to date my sisterâ, she tries speaking lower but you still can hear them. Your whole world crumbles with that one sentence, what does she mean by that?
âI didn't do it to be mean, I know how hard it is for your sister to get to meet new people, I thought it would benefit the both of usâ, he tries explaining. Your heart is beating too fast, the throbbing in your ears grows stronger and your legs are giving out.
âHow am I supposed to tell her now? She is so happyâ Yuna cries out. âDon't come any closer, get out of hereâ, you panic instantly, they can't see you there. But you're too slow, when you finally manage to move Jeongin is swinging the door open. He stops on his tracks, turning white on the spot.
âY/N-â, he tries to speak, but you run to your room before he can say anything else.
You can't believe this is actually happening to you, you thought that someone finally liked you but everything was a lie? That's not possible, right?
You are going to go to Chan, you two have a date, and he is going to tell you that Jeongin is lying, that he was just joking.
The uber to Chan's apartment doesn't seem to show up fast enough and the ride there couldn't be slower. You're restless, fidgeting with your fingers and shaking your legs.
You pay the man, practically running out of the car and running upstairs. The person who opens the door is not Chan but Changbin, you met him a few times when you were visiting the apartment.
âHey, y/nâ, Changbin greets you. âChan is not home, but he will be here soon, I heard you have a dateâ, he says, letting you in.
âI'm going to wait for him in his roomâ, you tell him, too disturbed to worry about proper manners.
You walk back and forth in the room, anxiously waiting for Chan's arrival. You hear his voice after twenty minutes, he's talking to his friend in the living room when Changbin tells him you're there.
You can hear the fast footsteps leading to where you are, you take a deep breath, trying not to cry.
âHey, babyâ, Chan smiles at you, dropping his bag on the floor and walking towards you with open arms. âDid something happen?â He stops, noticing your face.
You stare at him for a minute, brows knit together and eyes trying to find the least bit of sincerity in the time you two spent together.
âDid you ask me out as a favor to Jeongin?â You ask and his standing falter, how did you find out?
âL-let me explainâ, he says, taking a step closer to you.
âSo you didâ, you feel the tears trying to escape from your eyes.
âPlease, just⊠just hear what I have to sayâ, he asks, trying to hold your hand, but you pull away from him.
âI don't want to hear a thing from youâ, you tell him, running your hands through your hair.
It really was all a lie. How could you be so dumb?
You walk past him, trying to get out of the room, go anywhere but there. But Chan grabs your arm, making you stop in your tracks.
âPlease, don't leaveâ, he begs. You feel a pang in your chest, but it doesn't make a difference since you're already hurting too much.
âYou have no right to ask me thatâ, you pull your arm out of his grasp and walk out of the apartment.
It would be too humiliating to enter the uber while bawling your eyes out, so you decide to walk. You walk for a long time before your feet start hurting and your eyes are burning from how much you cried. You can't believe you really let yourself fall pray to such a scheme, you thought you were smarter than that.
It's obvious you only fell for it because it's Chan, you were attracted to him since the first time you laid eyes on him. You try to believe that it wouldn't be that easy to trick you if it was anyone else.
After at least two hours, you finally reach your house and you're feeling utterly miserable. You greet your parents and walk upstairs, anxiously searching for your room so you can finally let yourself fall and cry as much as you can.
Your sister is seated on your bed, biting on her nails. She stands up as soon as she sees you.
âI'm really sorryâ, she says, teary.
You sigh, feeling the weight on your chest even heavier.
âIt's not your faultâ, you tell her. You start to undress, looking for your pajamas so you can snuggle on your bed until all of this passes.
âI shouldn't have started dating before youâ, she whines.
âI don't blame you, so stop doing that to yourselfâ, you say, even though you feel a bit of resentment because Jeongin likes her truly, he likes her because she's her. Of course no one's going to like you, you're⊠you.
âButâ, she bites on her lower lip, not sure if she should say this, âI think Chan really likes you-â, she stops talking when you give her the meanest glare you ever threw in someone's way.
âI don't want to hear itâ, you say.
âHe even asked help so he could confess to you in a way you would likeâ, she continues.
âI'm not going to repeat myselfâ, you say and your sister knows that tone too well, it's better for her to stay silent for the time being. âIf you're done, I would like to be aloneâ
Yuna nods, glancing at you all the way to the door.
You collapse on your bed, finally able to cry your eyes out without people looking at you in a weird way. This is the moment you realize how much you love Bang Chan, the pain you're feeling is greater than anything you ever felt in your whole life, you truly don't think you'll be able to survive this.
Chan is an idiot, he knows this and you are right to never look at his face again. But even though he knows you're right, he can't accept the thought of you leaving him.
He tried calling and texting you, you blocked him. He tried talking to your sister, she cursed him out and told him to leave you alone. She and Jeongin are on bad terms right now but they didn't break up yet.
He tried to find you in the university, but you didn't show up for the entire week, he just doesn't know what to do.
âYou are an idiotâ, Hyunjin says after listening to the whole story, âyou should have told her about it while you still had timeâ
âI didn't know I was in loveâ, Chan runs his hands through his hair, ânot until it was too lateâ
His friend sighs, he just can't see Chan like that anymore. He's just miserable, he looks like he's dying and Hyunjin doesn't doubt it could actually happen at this point.
So as a good friend, he takes this matter into his own hands and calls your sister, trying to convince her to listen to Chan and maybe forgive Jeongin too, Hyunjin is tired of him whining all day long.
âDid you really call me here for this?â, Yuna asks, ready to grab her things and go home.
âHear me out, okay?â He says. âI know what they did was wrong but they regret it, Jeongin even told you about itâ
She huffs, crossing her arms.
âHe told me because I was talking about how Chan wanted to ask y/n to be his girlfriendâ, she says. âHe felt guilty, he would have never told me about it otherwiseâ
âChan really likes y/n, he really wants to be with herâ
Yuna sighs, she knows that. There was no way Chan could fake the way he looked at you.
âShe's not going to believe thatâ, Yuna says, ây/n is heartbroken, she's not even going to her classes. She just stays in her room all day, cryingâ
âThere's nothing better to fix her broken heart thenâ, Hyunjin points out, âlet's help them meet, they can talk things out that wayâ
âShe doesn't want to see himâ, Yuna sighs, âbut I do think this is the best solutionâ
âOkay, I'll text you the day and time, just bring y/n, Chan will take care of the restâ
Yuna nods, collecting her things but before she can stand up, Hyunjin's voice sounds again.
âAbout Jeongin-â, he starts, but she cuts him off right away.
âThis whole mess started because of Jeonginâ, she takes a deep breath, âafter y/n and Chan resolve this matter I'll see what I'm going to do about himâ
Yuna turns around, leaving Hyunjin there. At least he got Chan a chance, he can't save everyone.
Chan can't take it anymore, he has to see you. So he musters all the courage he has and goes to your house. It doesn't help that it's 2 a.m. so everyone is sleeping, except you it seems, since there's light coming from your room.
He begins throwing rocks at your window, trying to make you notice him and after a few tries he sees your face popping out.
Chan wishes he didn't come at all, your face is puffy so he knows you have been crying and the way you're looking at him, it's just awful, he feels despicable. More than he has felt all this time without you.
âWhat do you want?â You ask, at least you didn't ignore him.
âCan you come down for a bit?â
You sigh, you don't actually want to, but you're afraid he'll make too much noise trying to convince you to go down and wake up the neighbors or even worse, your parents.
You close the window, he knew it would be hard, that you wouldn't want to see him. Before he can turn around and walk away, Chan hears the sound of the front door opening.
You are in your pajamas, holding yourself trying to protect your body from the cold air.
You stop in your tracks, looking at him with an intense gaze, like you can read all his thoughts and know about all his mistakes.
âHow have you been?â He asks and you scoff.
âAre you here to survey my mood? I have been feeling like shit, what about you?â He remembers the first time he talked to you, how he wished to see you mad, now he regrets that. He never wanted to see you mad at him.
âI'm not well eitherâ, he says.
You sigh.
âNow that we know how each other is feeling, you can goâ, you tell him.
âCan you let me explain?â He pleads.
âDid you start dating me as a favor for Jeongin?â You ask and he sighs, nodding. âThat's all I need to know, I would appreciate it if you don't come looking for me anymoreâ, you say, turning around and going back inside. Tears start running down your face while you go back to your room, when will this pain subside?
â
You are finally back at school, after moping around all day at home for an entire week, you decided it was time to get back to your life. Staying at home just made you feel worse, you didn't have a thing to distract yourself so you ended up thinking about Chan the whole time. That only weakened your resolve to forget about him, you avoided coming to school because you knew you would give in if he tried to approach you.
Your day goes by fast enough and you just want to go home to lay on your bed. You feel your phone buzzing, it's a message from Jeongin. You were so angry with Chan that you forgot to block him.
He should be begging to meet Yuna, so why is he asking to meet you? Maybe he wants your help to fix things between them.
You don't know why you decided to meet him, maybe it's curiosity to know why he did such a thing to you or maybe you want to look at his face and curse at him.
He arrives at the cafe at the set time, looking around for you and walking towards you when his eyes lock with yours.
âHeyâ, he says, sitting in front of you. You don't say anything back, not in the mood to be polite.
Jeongin sighs, he expected this much.
âI wanted to talk with you about this whole situation, believe me I didn't mean to hurt you even though it ended up happening in the end-â
âI considered you my friendâ, you say making him stop talking.
âI- I'mâ, he says, voice a pitch higher.
âFriends don't do what you didâ, you say and he nods.
âI know it was an ill executed plan, but my intentions weren't bad, I swearâ, he tells you.
âAnd do your intentions matter if I was the one hurt in the end?â You ask, angrier now.
âNoâ, he answers. âI'm truly sorry, I swear, I just caught you staring at Chan more than once. I thought this would be good for us both but I was clearly wrongâ
You huff, exhausted. You start collecting your things to go home but you hear Jeongin's voice once more.
âChan really likes you, he fell in love with youâ, he says and your heart skips a beat, it shouldn't be behaving like this, not after the heartbreak you are going through.
âI don't care, he lost his chanceâ, you answer firmly, even though you know it's not true.
âAre you sure?â Jeongin asks, âare you sure you won't regret it? Not let him explain or not hearing him out?â
You glance at him once more, before standing up and walking out of the cafe.
Your mid terms are finally over, that means, you don't have anything to study so you're stuck with your thoughts. Your phone buzzes in your pocket, it's a message from Yuna, asking you to meet her in the arts department.
You reply, saying you'll be there in a moment. What is she even doing there? She's a business major.
The arts department is not far from yours, but it's emptier than you are used to. She asked you to meet in the first classroom of the second floor.
When you open the door, the first thing you see is Bang Chan. He looks awful, worse than you even.
You try going back, but he already saw you, so he stands up, coming closer.
âDon't leave, I'll do anything just⊠don't leaveâ
He's pale, and the eyebags he normally has are darker than usual.
âAre you sick?â You ask, worried. It's not like you can stop loving him in such a short period of time, of course you're worried.
âNoâ, he says, âI mean, I'm not feeling well, but I don't think I have an illnessâ
You nod, feeling awkward. It's been a while since you felt this way about him.
âOkay, then I'll get goingâ, you say trying to leave, but his voice stops you.
âI love youâ, he is desperate, you can hear it in his voice. However, you're too petty.
âThis was part of Jeonginâs plan too?â, you scoff, seeing his lips trembling.
He takes a deep breath, he deserves that, he knows he does.
âI really started going out with you because Jeongin askedâ, he starts explaining, âbut I fell in love with you, for realâ
You feel your heart ache once more, he's about to cry, you can see it. But you're not sure if you can forgive him, even if what he's telling you is true.
âI don't believe youâ, you say, shrugging, trying to hold your own tears.
âI will do anything to prove it to you, just say what I need to do for you to believe meâ, he says, taking a step closer to you.
âI'm not sure if I'll be able to forget this or even forgive you, Chanâ, you sigh, letting your heart speak and not your anger.
âI know I messed up, I don't deserve you I know that tooâ, he grabs your hand, âbut please, I'll prove to you that I deserve a second chance, I'll earn back your trustâ, he pleads.
You sigh, even after all this, it seems you still can't say no to him.
âI'm going to need some timeâ, you say slowly, âbut I will give you a second chance, you better not ruin itâ, you say.
Chan can't believe you're really going to try and forgive him, he can't ask for anything more.
âI won't disappoint you this time, I promiseâ, he says, kissing the palm of your hand, the same way he did before.
âLet's see about thatâ, you sigh, feeling your heart beating fast once again.
You may be making a stupid choice, but you'll only learn by making mistakes. You just sure hope this is not one.

a/n: this was inspired by my own issues right now because i definitely need it at the moment :â)Â
Getting out of bed was always the most difficult part of your day. Even when you were feeling okay, even when nothing was immediately wrong. You would wake up and stare into the void, blankets smothering your body and eyelids still heavy from the bit of sleep youâd managed to get.
There wasnât anything pressing your anxiety, but having been out of your routine for a few weeks always left you feeling unmotivated. After having been sidelined from missions for a multitude of reasonsâinjuries, mental stability, and a dwindling success rateâyou had nothing to do. None of your side hobbies entertained you long enough to keep you busy, so you fell into the same cycle. You sometimes wished you could sleep all day or even just stay stagnant in bed, but you knew itâd only make the fatigue worse.
Today, however, was not one of those days where you pushed yourself out of bed. Not bothered to check the time, you closed your eyes again. It was raining outside anyways, the perfect weather to stay cuddled in bed for. Soon enough, you found some sleep again, even if youâd regret it later.
Bucky, who was not sidelined from missions, had just come back from one, more than eager to see you. He was back earlier than expected, so he only figured you wouldnât be in your usual spot waiting for him in the hangar of the compound. It was a bit past noon, so he assumed you were keeping busy elsewhere.
After a quick debrief, he made it to your shared room, only to be led to confusion at the curtains still drawn and all of the lights off. He knew how much you hated sleeping in too late, only ever sleeping past 9 if you were really exhausted and/or hadnât gotten much sleep at all. Even then, you never let it get past 11 before you were up and out of bed.
Bucky knew you were taking your suspension a bit rougher than expected. He hated seeing you upset and he was even willing to skip out on a few missions to stay with you, but youâd insisted otherwise, saying âthe bad guys donât take breaks.âÂ
He never liked leaving you. Most of your missions had the two of you together, SHIELD thinking you worked well together even outside of your relationship. Going on missions without you meant he was always stuck with some reckless, inexperienced agent who wasnât half as skilled as you a lot of the time. It was why he only liked the ones where he was with Sam or Steve, at least not having to stress about saving anyone.
He missed you on every single one. Your quips, how satisfying it was to see you kick peopleâs asses, and how swiftly you did just about everything. But Bucky also knew you needed a break. Your anxiety was more rampant lately, and it was affecting all of your skills on the field. The decision to bench you didnât come easy to anyone, but especially not you.
You honestly had little to no idea what had you so anxious to start with, but anything else that triggered your anxiety only amplified it. Bucky was so reluctant to let Steve suspend you, but after you got seriously injured on a mission for lack of attention, he couldnât argue against it anymore.
âYou canât be serious,â you said to Steve, tears in your eyes. âIâve been injured so many times, why does that even matter?â
âItâs not just the injury,â Steve countered. âYouâve been off your game. I canât risk losing one of our best members because youâre distracted.â
âIâm not disââ
âYou being distracted is how you ended up with a broken arm and a head injury,â he cut you off, making you look away from him. âYouâre gonna end up dead if you keep on like this. I canât deal with that loss, and neither can Bucky.â
Snapping your gaze back at Steve, you scoffed.
âSo this is about Bucky?â
âThis is about you, Y/n,â Steve said, his tone slightly more irritated. âHe begged me not to bench you, said you just needed some time but even he knows putting you on the field again is risking your life.â
Wiping your tears away, you said nothing in response. You knew he was right, but the last thing you needed was to give in. Itâd make you crumble, itâd make this whole situation real and you knew where youâd end up.Â
Your conversation ended when Bucky walked in the room.
It was the right decision after all. However, Buckyâs chest ached knowing how low you were feeling. Knowing that you were doing everything just to get by, yet nothing at all. He hadnât seen you in a melancholy state for years, but it always scared him. He barely made it out of his own episodes sometimes, panic manifesting through his bones. His worry only worsened at the thought of not being able to pull you from the darkness, the way youâd done so for him many times.Â
Seeing you under the sheets, sound asleep past noon didnât settle Buckyâs own anxiety. He was out on this mission for eight days, but youâd sounded okay when you spoke to him over the phone every night.Â
Were you not getting any sleep? Were you falling asleep really late? Or was your current funk really getting to you?
Bucky set his duffel bag on the floor, shutting the door behind him. He decided against opening the curtains until you were awake, sitting on the edge of the bed next to your sleeping body, placing his flesh hand on your cheek gently.
âSweetheart,â he said, leaning down and kissing your forehead a few times. âLet me see those pretty eyes, doll.â
Furrowing your eyebrows before peeling your eyes open, you were greeted with your favorite super soldier, a smile creeping on your face.
âHi,â you said groggily, Bucky kissing your forehead again. âYouâre back early.â
âGot the job done quickly,â he fed your curiosity. âWhat are you still doing asleep, doll? Are you okay?â
âWhat time is it?â You said, still unmotivated to get up from your lying position.Â
âAlmost 1,â Bucky answered before your eyes widened and you sat up, frantic about how the morning got away from you. âHey, hey,â Bucky placed his hands on your shoulder, easing the tension a bit. âItâs okay, thereâs nothing wrong with oversleeping once in a while.â
You shook your head, avoiding Buckyâs gaze as you rubbed your eyes. âI shouldnât have slept that long.â
Bucky pressed a kiss to your shoulder, then your cheek, then pulled your hands away from your eyes. The bags under them didnât go without notice, Bucky getting more worried than earlier. He knew you werenât sleeping well, and him not being here to soothe you must have made it worse.
âIs everything okay?â He asked again, never getting an answer from you.
You sighed. âI donât really know, Iâm just- Iâm always tired and donât wanna do anything even though I know I shouldnât just stay in bed. I was gonna wake up early today to see if I could get moving but then I barely slept and thought a few more hours could be useful but nowââ
âShh,â Bucky said, pulling you into his embrace, rubbing your back softly. âThere is still a lot of time left in the day, but I donât mind sleeping this Sunday away with you after the mission I just had.â He kissed the top of your head a few times. âWe can shower then eat and then rest. Sounds good?â
You nodded, with a muffled âokayâ into his chest before pulling away, Bucky standing and grasping your hand in his to head to the bathroom.Â
Bucky turned the shower on, letting it run to get warm before turning back to you. After you helped Bucky take his tac suit off, he helped you shed your pajamas. The both of you took your underwear off, Bucky checking the water before you stepped in.Â
You always enjoyed showering with Bucky, most after a mission when you were both tired. Though this was different since you werenât the one coming home, the sentiment of being tired remained the same.
Bucky could tell you were tense, that something was still bothering you. He never wanted to pry, so he massaged the tension out of your shoulders, getting you to relax your posture a bit. You both worked your way around lathering each other with soap, your eyes doing their usual routine of scanning Buckyâs body for any cuts and bruises. Bucky decided to wash your hair, finding any means of making you feel relaxed. You sighed under his touch, leaning your head forward to rest against his chest as he rinsed your hair.
âSteve mentioned you going back on the field again,â Bucky eased into the conversation. âYou feeling up for it?â Much to Buckyâs surprise, you shook your head, prompting him to lift your face in his hands. âWhatâs wrong, sweetheart? You know you can talk to me.â
Sighing again, you leaned into his touch. âIâm not ready.â
âI thought you wanted to get back,â Bucky furrowed his eyebrows.
âI do,â you nodded. âBut I just feel so⊠out of it. Like my mind is out of fuel and itâs putting my body on pause. I have no energy lately, I donât really know whatâs wrong with me.â
Bucky looked at you, a hint of sorrow in his eyes. Heâd been there, where his body was craving one thing but his mind just never allowed him to satisfy any of his desires. Depression didnât always look the same, but he could tell when it was starting to consume you.
The restless nights, the fatigue, the lack of energy and motivation. It was a stark contrast to your usual, productive self. Sometimes Bucky would have to slow you down for doing too many things at once, so it pained him to see you not want to do anything at all.Â
He decided right then and there heâd take a pause from any missions until you were okay. Until he could see the spark in your eye again, the pep in your step. The energy being revitalized.
âIt happens, baby,â he reassured. âYouâve helped me through some of my funks, so let me help you out of yours, hm?â
âYou donât have to, Bucky,â you shook your head, but he shushed you, a chaste kiss placed on your lips. âIâm serious, you donât have to pause your life for me. People still need help and Iâll get out of my fatigue stint eventually, soââ
âYou know youâre not gonna convince me otherwise, right?â He shut you up again, offering you a smirk and another peck to the lips. âI would drop everything for you. At any time, on any day, at any given moment. You are my world, doll. If youâre not okay, then my world isnât okay.â
âBut what if they really need youââ
âThey wonât,â Bucky grabbed the comb to detangle your hair. âNow come on, let me help you ease your mind, hm?â
Knowing you couldnât say no to him, you turned so your back was facing him, Bucky smoothly getting any knots out of your hair.Â
He knew how much you loved it when he did your hair, knowing the process was super long and you didnât want to do it half of the time. When he first heard you complain about having to do it, he made you teach him your whole routine for whenever you were feeling unmotivated to. It was one of many things he eagerly learned for you, always wanting to pamper you.Â
Feeling a bit overwhelmed over the fact that you had him back, here with you as he did everything in his power to clear your head from the anxious thoughts, you couldnât help but tear up.Â
When he finished detangling your hair, holding it up with a clip, he saw you crying, quickly pulling you in his arms, kissing you everywhere he could.Â
âIâm here, sweetheart,â he said, leaning down to kiss your shoulder. âIâm not going anywhere.â
Once he let you return the favor of washing his hair, you made him sit on the built-in bench in the shower so you wouldnât have to reach up the whole time.Â
Bucky loved touching you, but he swore to everything that he loved your touch even more. Your hands were so soft and gentle, with each lather and rinse of his head.
âYour hairâs getting long again,â you said, running your fingers through Buckyâs brown locks, the length now passing his ear. âAre you gonna cut it?â
Bucky shrugged, his hands finding comfort in your waist as you stood in front of him. He placed a kiss on each of your hips then your stomach before looking up at you.
âMaybe, maybe not,â he answered before standing, kissing your lips again. He knew how much you liked his short hair when he first cut it, but deep down you loved his long hair too. You just never forced him to keep one or the other, knowing how many memories his hair held.
Bucky loved how well you knew him, how well you understood him. It was the main reason why he took his time to do the same for you.
Once you were both out of the shower and dressed, Bucky picked up his phone to order some food. Youâd told him you were craving Chinese the night before on your phone call while he was away, so he ordered all of your favorites as you finished drying your hair in the bathroom.
After eating dinner, Bucky slid under the covers of your shared bed, extending his metal arm for you to grab as you slid in next to him. Your head found its usual spot on his chest, both of his arms encasing you in the pressure you sought so many times, your left leg over his right one.Â
âThank you,â you said softly as Bucky rubbed your back just the way you liked it. âFor never judging me.â
âI would never plan to,â he said, using his right hand to lift your chin up. âWeâre human. We have our moments where we need a break, a reset. You taught me that when I needed to hear it. Donât think that it excludes you, my love.â
Leaning up, you pressed your lips against his in a soft kiss that said more than enough.Â
Pulling away, you looked into those blue eyes that meant the world to you.
âWhat would I do without you?â
âForce yourself to do your hair routine every week,â Bucky joked, making you roll your eyes playfully with a smirk.
You pressed a kiss on his chest before laying your head on it again. âI love you.â
âI love you more, doll,â he said, massaging your scalp to soothe you until you fell asleep.
Bucky could watch you be this peaceful forever, vowing to spend the rest of his days making sure you were okay. He always knew youâd return the favor, enjoying every moment spent with you like this, comforted best in his arms.

Ima
The three times Wonwoo flirted with you, and the one where you finally realize it.Â
Word count: 1.6k
Warnings: none that I can think of, just some fluff
This is part of the Three Times series. This one is inspired by this reaction.
One
âI was wondering when youâd be in,â you say as the shop door opens. Wonwoo gives a light smile.Â
âMiss me or something?â He saunters up to the counter. You roll your eyes. Heâs in the game shop you manage every week, it seems. He likes to rent games from this shop. Itâs a mystery why. You know what he does for work, you donât live under a rock. He could buy all the games he wants. Still, he comes in to rent a game that you recommend, play it, and return it the next week with a report on what he thought.Â
âHow was it?â You pick up the case heâs slid onto the counter and scan it for the return.Â
Wonwoo shrugs. âYou were right. Could have been better.â
âIâm always right,â you chortle jokingly.Â
âI believe you,â he muses from across the counter. âWhat do you have for me this week?âÂ
You pull a case from underneath the counter from the spot that is affectionately known as Wonwooâs little hiding spot. It even has a little piece of tape on it with his name on it. Sometimes things stay there even if someone else asks for the item. Preferential treatment for your best customer after all. âThe sequel. Itâs better, I promise.âÂ
He reaches for his pocket, but you wave him off. You donât need his card to pull up his account anymore. You nearly have the account number memorized anyway. Youâre sliding the case across to him when the shop door opens again. Thereâs a certain demographic that needs more help than others in a store like this, and the middle aged mom looking blankly around the store certainly fits the bill. Wonwoo doesnât linger so you can help the woman find what she needs.Â
Two
âWell?â You ask from the back of the store. You donât have to look at whose come in, you just know.Â
âYou were right, it was better,â Wonwoo voices from the next aisle over before peeking around the corner. âShipment? Anything good?âÂ
âYours are already at the front,â you tease.Â
Wonwoo looks smug. âSay you thought of me as soon as you opened the shipment.â
âOf course, I did,â you laugh, plopping the last of the plushies onto the shelf. âIn fact, one of them I only ordered because of you.âÂ
Wonwoo laughs as he takes the empty box from you and trails behind you to the counter. This is another little routine when he visits. He knows where the cardboard boxes go. He even breaks them down and takes them out back to recycling sometimes if youâre swamped. âYou love me so much.â
You hum as you put his little stack of things on the counter. You process his return and check out the rentals to him. When you slide them to him, he slides them back. âPut them back in my hiding spot for a bit. Iâll take care of the boxes before I go.â
âOh, Wonwoo, you donât have to do that. I can take care of it later. Iâm here all day.â
He brushed you off, stepping behind the counter and taking the box cutter from the drawer. âYou work alone on Tuesdays and hate to lock up in the middle of the day or leave the store unattended. Just let me run and do it. Itâll take five minutes.â
Heâs right. You hate working alone, but none of your part timers have any availability on Tuesdays. The woes of hiring college students with busy class schedules. You let him break down the boxes and take them out back.Â
When he comes back in, you hand him a plushie on top of his games. He looks like he might fight you on it, but you insist. âYou arenât getting paid for how you help around here. Just take the free plushie, Wonwoo.â He relents, telling you heâll see you next week.Â
Three
Youâre working in the back the next time Wonwoo comes in. One of your part timers interrupts you while youâre making the schedule. âWonwooâs here. What did you have in mind for him this time?â Wonwooâs one of the storeâs favorite customers, not just yours, but the part timers let you handle filling his stack underneath the counter.Â
âIâll be out in a minute,â you tell him, saving your work. When you see Wonwoo, you laugh, âBack again already? Itâs only been a few days.âÂ
âWhat can I say? I missed you a little.â Wonwoo laughs.Â
âWhatâd you think?â You ask, holding up one of the cases heâs returning.
âGreat, actually. Do you have a copy I can buy?â He asks.Â
You grin, pulling a brand new copy of the game from his little hiding spot. âDo I know you or what?â
âI guess so,â he agreed, grinning. When you scan the rentals you picked for him, he speaks up. âCan you extend the date for those? Iâll have to travel starting next week and they might be late.âÂ
You wave him off. âYou know Iâll waive the fees for you. When have you ever been late before?âÂ
âNever. Otherwise, how would I see you?â He laughs, handing you his credit card for the new game. His phone rings as heâs signing the receipt and he quickly excuses himself. The shop door is closed before you pick up the receipt to put it in the register. For whatever reason, the receipt format has a tip line, despite never needing to tip someone at a game store. Youâve told corporate dozens of times that it confuses people, and you wish youâd pushed a little harder because Wonwooâs left a totally unnecessary tip for the exact price of the plushie you gave him last week. He must have looked on the website to find out how much it cost.
You scoff, stuffing the receipt in the register. Youâll get him back for this somehow.Â
Four
The next time he comes in, youâre standing on a stool to change a light bulb. He scoffs as his hands come around your calves to steady you. âWhy didnât you let someone taller do this for you?â
âCouldnât wait. The bulb blew yesterday back here and no oneâs in until Wednesday. You canât even see the shelves without it,â you say, making absolutely no move to get off the stool until the job is done. âHow was your trip?â
He hums. âFine. Paris Fashion Week.â
âOoo, fancy,â you chuckle. âWhat? You didn't enjoy one of the most romantic cities in the world?â
You can hear the smile in his voice even though heâs behind you. âEh. Iâve been before. Plus, you werenât there.â
âNever been,â you say lightly. âAll done!â You clap before trying to climb off the stool. Youâre surprised when youâre suddenly in the air and even let out a little squeak. Wonwooâs hands leave your waist as soon as your feet are back on the ground. âThanks,â you say weakly.
He looks so fucking casual about it as he shrugs. âDidnât want you to fall.â Youâre abnormally flustered as you turn to go to the counter. You process his returns. Itâs an old habit to pop open every case and do a once-over to the disc, even though you know Wonwooâs never returned anything damaged.Â
Inside the last case is a slip of paper with some numbers written on it. âOh, did you leave this in here?â You pick it up and hold it out to him.Â
He shakes his head. âOh, no. Thatâs for you.âÂ
âItâs a phone number,â you say, confused. Youâre even more confused when he bites back a grin.Â
âYeah, I know. Itâs mine.âÂ
â⊠What?â
Heâs still grinning. âI know itâs on my account, but youâve never used it, so I thought Iâd make myself clear.âÂ
âDo you⊠like me or something?â The words sound weird as they come out of your mouth.Â
This makes him bark out a loud, slightly exasperated laugh. âY/N, I flirt with you every single time I come in. Itâs really the only reason I come in.âÂ
âAre you serious?â You stutter out.
âYeah, I am. Not that it was getting me anywhere. I decided for a more direct approach this time. I missed you while I was traveling and having your phone number would have been nice.âÂ
Youâre still so baffled at his confession and subsequent amusement that youâre a little robotic. âOh⊠okay then.âÂ
âThereâs really no pressure, Y/N.â He seems to mean it. He gestures behind the counter. âWhat do you have for me today?âÂ
âA couple older ones, not sure if youâve played them before,â you say, totally distracted. He glances at the covers and shrugs.Â
âIâll take them,â he says simply. His phone rings and he steps away with an apology. The check out is complete within a few seconds, but you stall out, staring at the pen and post it notes next to the register. He sounds like heâs wrapping up his call, so you rush, scribbling on to the note and stuffing it inside one of the cases. When he approaches the counter again, he looks apologetic. âIâm sorry, I canât stick around. That was work.â You wave him off and heâs almost out of the door when he turns around. âReally, no pressure, okay?âÂ
You nod, grinning to yourself when the door closes behind him. You stuff the little paper into your pocket and move on with work. Later that night, youâre locking up when youâre phone buzzes. You recognize the number from earlier and it makes you laugh. So does the message.Â
âI forgot how good this game is. Youâre always right.â

thinking of her â cl16
genre: angst, marriage trope
word count: 1.8k
You and Charles take a visit to marriage counseling.
inspired by this !
req!... had some free time to write so thought i would work on a request i just got! short one, but i hope you enjoy :)
âTell me why youâre both here.â
The room is silent and slightly cold. A large canvas hangs right in front of you as you take time to pretend you care about the family painted on it. Part of you actually does.
âWell, she thought it would be a good idea to drag us into this.â
Your eyes flicker to Charles and you would only hope that he could tell that you werenât impressed by his answer. It was true, it was your idea to go to coupleâs counseling, but only because you cared. You cared a lot. Sometimes you thought for sure he didnât anymore.
âWhat made you take the initiative?â
You wanted to burst with anger. To prove to her that this wasnât completely your fault. He wasnât perfect, he tested your patience and despite it all, you still loved him enough to try and salvage your marriage.Â
Your therapist stares back, pen ready to scribble possible solutions as if her words would really make a difference. Maybe, deep down, you didnât like being here either, but you wanted to prove to Charles how heâs been a shit husband.Â
You wanted someone to back you up.
Taking a deep breath, you play with your wedding band. The one that you would normally admire, but now just felt like pure suffocation. âHeâs given me plenty of reasons to not trust him the way I once did and now I sit here like a fool thinking he might change.â
The way her pen glides is something you hate.Â
Looking back up, she takes a moment to analyze the couple. Charles sits with a blank expression, as if he really did have somewhere better to be. In his mind, he did. Then, there was you. Regardless of your words pouring with pure vexation, your body language displayed something else.Â
Your eyes were sad and tired. She easily noticed the way your hand would want to reach out to Charles, but would quickly grip tighter to your lap.
âPlease, if you donât mind, would you care to explain.â
You press your lips together. âI first noticed a difference two years into our marriage.â
-
âChicken or fish?âÂ
It was Charlesâ day off from work in a long time and you were currently on a call with Pascale trying to figure out what to surprise him with. He always raved about how much he loved when you cooked for him.Â
âFish. You guys were over yesterday and I made grilled chicken, remember?â
You hum as you get into your car and start driving to the market, though the conversation is cut short when you finally reach your destination. Walking through the aisle, you decide it would be a fine idea to grab some wine you both love.Â
âCharles?â The brunette looks up, red wine in his hand as you smile a bit confused. âWhat are you doing here? I thought you were playing padel with Lorenzo.âÂ
âI was! Finished the game early and thought I would grab us some, uhââ Stepping closer, he kisses you and takes the kart. âShopping for dinner?â
âThought itâd be niceâŠâ You look at the bottle and yes itâs red, but it's not the kind you both like. âHoney, you got the wrong one.â A panicked look flashes his face before he lets out a nervous laugh.
Of course! Iâll change it right now.
-
âIt only took a couple more slip ups for me to find out.â
The therapist nods as her attention turns to Charles, where he plays with his bracelets. âAnd what made you stay?â You want to laugh. Are we just going to spend time on me? She shakes her head. âWeâll get to him, I just want to hear from you first.â
âAfter I confronted him he swore heâd stop seeing her. I guess it was my fault for even believing him.â
-
âAmour!â
He runs into the living room, kitchen, basement, everywhere. Breathing hard, he looks around the house as if the furniture will give up and tell him where you are. A loud thud echoes from upstairs. Two steps at a time, he darts quickly to the bedroom. His heart stops when he sees you packing a suitcase.
What are you doing?
You donât answer. Donât even spare a passing glance. Instead, you slip the gold band off your finger as you throw it behind you. It only falls a few steps in front of him. He picks it up as he makes his way to you. âIâm so sorry.â
Your back faces him, but you donât dare make a single sound. You curl your hand against the dress you were folding, bite hard on your lip to not let out a single sob. But your chest hurts, your tears feel like acid against your skin, and youâre almost thankful for pain like that, that way what Charles did wouldnât be the only thing that hurt.
He makes his way to kneel down in front of you as you stare down at the carpet. You had begged him only a few days ago to put down the deposit on it and for a while he said it wouldnât be financially responsible, but later agreed. You hated it now.
âWhy? JustâŠwhy?â
Heâs far too embarrassed to even come up with an answer. âI donât know.â
When you finally look up at him, he sees what heâs caused. Your eyes are bloodshot, your nose is rosy. Cheeks are so bright pink, it almost looked as if someone pinched them.Â
You let out a wet laugh as you drop your hands against your lap. âYou know, when I woke up this morning and you were gone I thought to myselfâWow! What did I do to deserve a husband who wakes up early enough to get me breakfast on my birthday? And I waited. And waited. But whatever. Thatâs fine! He probably got busy. Then, Pascale called to confirm if we were still going out for dinner, to which I said, âYes! Of course!...Yes, the gold bracelet! It was beautiful, thank you for helping him pick it out.â I thought it was sweet, I did, but you never came. And again, the presents are not what mattered, but it was you. I texted you. I called you. I told myself you were probably too busy planning something sweet the way you always did. They all asked where you were and I had to lie and tell them you were going to be late. Do you know how stupid I felt when I saw you and her enter the restaurant holding hands? And then what did I do? I purposefully had you see me run out so you could chase after me, so that your family would never find out about yourâŠfling.â
Charles keeps bowing his head lower and lower almost as if to hide from his mistakes.
â...So whereâs my bracelet, huh? Because you got it for me for my birthday, right?â Extending your hand out hurts because you know deep down it was never for you.Â
âI donât have itâŠâ You click your tongue as you retract your arm. Of course you donât, you seethe. With all your strength, you stand with wobbly knees as you start to walk away.Â
âDonât worry. I wonât tell anyone.â
And he should feel relieved, but instead he feels like a complete asshole. How could he ruin things with his wife who swore to love him with all her being? He knew you well enough to know that you always will and he couldnât let that go. He would fix this.
He runs to the door to close it. Move, you spit out. He shakes his head as he hugs you.Â
âS-stop,â you say in a shaky voice as warm tears begin to flow once more. âItâs okay, just let me goâŠâ
You go stiff when you realize heâs crying into your neck. Iâm sorry, Iâm sorry, Iâm sorry, Iâm sorryâŠHe just keeps repeating it and you canât stop yourself from hugging him back. He loved you and you loved him. Thatâs all that mattered.
âJust donât do it again, okay?â
-
âSo he cheated: you forgave him. He put her first and your marriage second.â
You flinch at her words because they only remind you how true they are. For a while, you thought you could both get over it, but you never really did. Not when you were already both standing on opposite sides of the road.
âMom always did say I always saw the best in people.â
âAnd youâŠâ Charles gulps. âWhat made you fall into an affair?â
Months ago, when you first found out, he didnât have any answer to that question. But he did now.
âI wasnât smart enough to appreciate my wife.â He looks at you as you avoid eye contact because you know the moment you looked into his eyes, you would fall all over again.
But you still did.
His eyes are sorry, you could tell, and the way his hand makes his way to you is enough for you to grow warm despite the cold room.Â
âIâve made plenty of mistakes - I know that - but none of them could compare to what I did to us. For putting you through so much doubtâŠFor making you think I didnât love you, but I always did.â
You're crying now as you nod because this is all you ever needed to hear.
âIf this was the bump in the road that we had to overcome to grow closer then I accept it because I love you too, Charles. Itâs about time you realized that.â
-
Charles feels lighter, happier. Now that he gets to hold your hand after many fights, heâs reminded about all the things he loves about you. But nothing could have prepared him for you to let go of his hand.
âI want a divorce.â
Heâs stunned. W-what? We just decided that we were fine, that we were moving onâŠ
You shake your head as you laugh. âMy apologies, God, did I make you believe a lie? Feels awful, doesnât it?â
He furrows his brows as he tries to reach out for you but you keep stepping further back. âBack there you almost had meâŠYou said, â...none of them would compare to what I did to us.â Us. Did you suffer? Did you spend countless, empty nights, crying yourself to sleep wondering what you did wrong? No, because it was all me. It wasnât what you did to us, it's what you did to me.â You spin your ring one last time before slipping it off and placing it in his hand. He wants to say something to make you change your mind, to oversee his past mistakes one more time, because he swore to himself it would be the last time. But he could tell youâve made up your mind. You twist your heel, ready to walk away before taking one last look into his green eyes you once loved.
âAnd the baby is getting my last name.â

Party 4 You - Paige Bueckers x fem!reader
summary: you decide to go out with the women's basketball team and a certain member has always confused you - before now word count: 2.9k a/n: fav concept ever is #partypaige...title inspired by the best Charli XCX song ever. please leave comments / reblog if you liked this ok mwah <33
"It's my job that you come out with us tonight." A very out-of-breath KK Arnold informed you on the phone about her new job.Â
"KK, did you just finish practice? Why are you out of breath?" You'd started an internship about two weeks ago, and when you agreed to take it, no one warned you that interning meant piling on a ton of work that no one else wanted to do. It'd felt awful to be holed up inside, spending nights hunched over a computer when everyone else was only getting their summer started.Â
"Was just playing pick up with Paige and Ice," KK sighed, "So, did you make up your mind yet?"Â
"Ugh, I don't know. There's a ton of stuff missing in some of these documents they want me to edit. I still haven't even thought about what I'd wear if I did go out tonightâ" You rambled on, pacing around your desk before KK interrupted.Â
"I already know you got something in that never-ending closet of yours. Does that mean you'll come out tonight?" An air of hope in KK's voice made you pause to consider it.Â
You mindlessly wandered all the way to your closet while you were on the phone with KK. Maybe it was a sign that your brand-new skirt was hanging on the door handle, begging to be taken out for a spin. You told KK, "Okay, I'll be there. But please, promise we will keep it contained, nothing crazy?"Â
KK let out a scream that made you rip the phone away from your ear before she started laughing and said, "Come by later to pregame! Bye, Pookie!"Â
You laughed at her excitement, "Bye, KK!"Â
The going-out section of your closet only served as a reminder of how crazy going out with some women's basketball team members can get. Between their boundless energy, how they seem to know everyone (including bartenders), and how they attract a crowd everywhere they go, there is no telling where the night can go once you join them.Â
You met KK when you partnered up in your communications class and immediately found her hilarious. Plus, it didn't hurt that she always got you better seats than the student section during basketball games. You knew that going out tonight meant you were going to see Paige, so it was crucial to keep yourself in check.Â
----------------------------------------------------------------------------Â
Paige and Ice took a water break while KK finished her phone call with you.Â
"So Y/N's coming tonight?" Paige asked in confirmation.Â
KK teased, "Why? So you can stare at her from a corner all night?"Â
Ice added, "No, for real. Poor girl probably thinks you hate her."Â
Paige interjects, "Alright, alright. We've talked to each other before. Y'all just don't wanna remember it."Â
KK scoffs, "Girl, boo. Asking what her major is doesn't count. Especially because I already told you what it was before."Â
They all gathered their things while Paige advocated for herself, "Y'all really have no faith in me, huh? Trust, it'll be a different story when I come by later."Â
KK and Ice mumbled a combination of 'Yeah, sure' and 'Uh huh' before heading toward their building while Paige walked alone to hers. The truth was that she was a nervous wreck around you and always has been ever since KK and you became friends.Â
It was one of those things that no one but Paige understood. She was her confident, relaxed self around her friends, in a stadium full of fans, even at events she would've never believed she'd find herself in. She got it in her head that maybe you didn't like her very much. Not because you were standoffish, you were actually the opposite. Paige never felt that you liked her enough to be around her alone. They were always in groups with their respective friends.
At first, none of her friends caught on to her little crush; she tried to keep it discreet. It was going well until you came over to watch movies and see them fight over the Xbox controller in a pair of striped sleep shorts and a UConn hoodie, and she officially became a goner. Sitting four feet away from you while you looked like that and periodically pushing your glasses up made her sweat from her palms and make her think up an excuse for leaving movie night early.Â
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------Â
Ice's apartment was filled with chatter, and Paige's pregame playlist came from the speakers. Everyone's shot glasses were haphazardly crowded on the table while some girls mixed drinks.Â
You adjusted the bottle of Tito's in the crook of your arm before knocking on the door. When Ice answered the door, you could already tell you needed to catch up with everyone. She immediately wrapped you up in a hug and excitedly screamed, "We missed you, Pookie! And you came prepared."Â
"I always do," You told her as she took the vodka from you so that you could adequately say hi to everyone.Â
It was a natural relief to finally have a night out with friends, and any thoughts about work or deadlines didn't even cross my mind when I got to Ice's.Â
KK must've been just as relieved to see you because she said, "Y/N, finally, someone who can make a mixed drink. I can't drink any of Paige's mid-ass drinks anymore."Â
Paige looked offended and told her, "Call them mid, but they get it done."Â
It's not like you received any formal mixologist training or bartending experience, but making drinks became your specialty whenever you went out. You got straight to work making KK her favorite drink and handing it to her.Â
KK graciously sipped it and said it tasted "Perfect, as always."Â
You turned around to see Paige standing empty-handed and decided to ask, "Want me to make you something?"Â
Your pretenses were completely innocent, but how you softly smiled and batted your eyelashes made Paige's heart jump. Plus, she'd only heard five-star reviews about your drinks, so she couldn't refuse anyway. Once she gave you the okay, she was gearing up to ask you where you learned to make drinks like that until KK interjected, already half her drink downed.Â
"Don't worry, Y/N. She's not picky."
You were done with the drink and ran to the fridge, your little heels clacking on the wooden floor, to grab the jar of maraschino cherries. When you topped off Paige's drink and handed it to her, you shrugged, "I have a feeling she'll like it."Â
There it was againâyour self-assuredness and complete ease in any situation made Paige feel weak and wobbly around you. The shiny red cherry on top, matching the shiny coat of lip gloss you were sporting, didn't make it any easier for her.Â
She usually hates anything that tastes like alcohol, so whatever you made her was incredible. "This is fire. What is it?"
"A dirty Shirley. You like?" You stood looking up at her, hoping the drink could be a peace offering or a way to make Paige like you a little more. You never knew why she seemed more reserved or conscious around you, but you knew it always drove you crazy.Â
"These are dangerous." Paige concluded with approval, and KK said, "Told you."Â
After everyone was tipsy enough and you caught up with what some girls had been up to in the last couple of weeks, it was time to get into the Uber to start your night. Time collapsed into a whizz of final lip touch-ups, shuffling clumsy bodies into one car and waiting in anticipation to let loose.Â
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
There was a corner of the bar with a karaoke machine that KK and Paige excitedly ran over to like it was a toy. Everyone downed the shots you bought and got ready to hear their performance. They did their best rendition of 'Kiss Me More' and sounded nothing like SZA or Doja Cat, but since everyone was tipsy, they danced anyway. Paige and KK looked right at home, singing with their arms wrapped around each other and sassily dancing whenever they caught Ice or Azzi filming them.Â
When they finished, your little group applauded their effort, and Paige unexpectedly took her place next to you and Azzi. She looked a little smug, sipping the drink in her cup with her other hand resting in her pocket.Â
Azzi piped up, "Tone deaf and singing Doja Cat is crazy."Â
Paige scoffed, "Alright, Azzi, I don't remember asking." Azzi and Ice got up to sing next, and Paige shifted closer to you.Â
Emboldened by the drinks, she nods at you and says, "I like this skirt on you."Â
You feel it in your face first, flushing from having her eyes on you. You played it cool and told her, "Thank you, the skirt likes you, too." As you said it, you didn't exactly know what it meant, but it made sense in your drunk brain.Â
She laughs and nervously twists the bracelet on her wrist. "So what'd you think of my singing?"
You pretend to think about it, "You ball better than you sing."Â
Azzi and Ice are making an Usher song into a duo. You sip on your drink while taking a video of them that they'll definitely be humiliated by tomorrow.Â
Paige looks at you and asks, "Oh, so you've noticed?"Â
You don't know where this confidence came from. Usually, Paige avoids you whenever you're out. You figure it's because she's been drinking and having fun after an intense season. You're suspicious of it, but you like this version of her. "You know I come to games."Â
"Haven't seen you in a minute, though. You been busy?"Â
You repeat what she said right back to her, "Oh, so you've noticed?"Â
Paige laughs, touching your arm and lingering near your elbow. "I'm being for real. What you been up to?"Â
Her touch makes you feel dizzy, going straight to your distracted brain while you try to find an answer for her. "Got an internship, and they're already overworking me." Before Paige can respond, you shift closer to her to ask, "Can I ask you something, Paige?"Â
She steadies her eyes on you and says, "Sure, what's on your mind?"Â
You start, "I don't knowâŠNormally, you don't talk to me much." You kept it lighthearted, teasingly asking, "Am I that scary?"Â
Paige looks down at her sneakers, "Nah, not too scary." She added, "M'glad you came, though."Â
You looked up at her as she wet her lips and said, "I'm glad I came, too."Â
When Ice and Azzi finished singing, they were exhausted from exerting so much effort. You rounded everyone up and announced, "Everyone's gotta do a shot, I'm buying!"Â
After another round of green tea shots, all hopes for a contained and calm night went out the window. Some girls broke off into different groups inside the bar as they ran into different acquaintances and friends. There was even more karaoke, only getting slightly sloppier and more tone-deaf with time. Sometime between you dancing behind the DJ table and your third drink, your exchange with Paige from earlier caught up to you.Â
You couldn't even precisely identify what you were feeling at the moment. You thought Paige was indifferent toward you, or at least not keen on getting to know you beyond being KK's friend. But when you remembered the feeling of her fingers grazing your arm, you felt confused by it. Suddenly, an emotional wobbliness started to creep up on you, and your next instinct was telling you to duck outside for a minute. You handed your drink to Azzi and told her you needed some air and would be right back.Â
It was cool enough outside to wrap your arms around yourself comfortably as you stood with your back against the wall. When you leaned your head back to close your eyes and take a breath, you tried to collect your thoughts. It was bouncing around a few things: deciding what to doordash later when you got home, mentally writing a small to-do list of internship work, and Paige.Â
You thought about how her hands looked around the drink you made her at the pregame, her long legs in a pair of cargos you liked on her, how she sounded so sincere when she told you she was glad you came. It was a lot, and your brain would overheat if you didn't duck out when you did. You were so startled when all you heard was, "Hey," coming from somewhere on your left.Â
It was just Paige, who currently had her hands on your shoulders after you almost jumped out of your skin at someone coming up to you. She apologized profusely before she said, "Wanted to see if you were good."Â
Your eyes soften at this. You forget that you were concentrating so hard on your shoes that you were about to burn a hole in them. It was replaced by Paige's presence, comforted automatically by her taller frame blocking out the view of the street at night.Â
You straightened up, adjusting the purse she was touching on your shoulder, and evening your voice enough to say, "I'm good; I just needed a second."Â
Paige looked down and nodded, "Good, good. DJ booth looked empty without you dancing."Â
You shook your head and laughed, "Been a minute since I could dance until my feet hurt."Â
"You think you'll feel it tomorrow?" With how Paige looked at you, you thought she was much more sober than you probably were.Â
You shrug, eyes feeling heavy as you lean into the wall, "Think we all will."Â
Right as you say that, all the rest of your friends start shuffling out. They were clearly tired. You remember they all decided to play an entire pick-up game earlier and announced they were ready to call it a night. No one disagreed. All of you had fun, but it was time for the drunk food and pajamas part of the night.Â
Paige urgently needed to spend more time with you. One of those game-time decisions seemed to come out of nowhere when she said, "Y/N and I should take a separate one since our buildings are close together and everything."Â
Thankfully, all your friends were gone enough to not question it and felt safe in knowing it was best everyone went home in a group instead of alone this late. It sounded sensical to you, even though you hadn't remembered that you and Paige lived in neighboring apartment buildings. But then again, you haven't been anywhere but work or home, which felt like forever, so maybe you hadn't noticed.Â
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Something about being in this car in the backseat with Paige felt right. She spread out in the back while you crossed your leg, shifting your weight so the tip of your shoe would brush against her leg whenever the car stopped.Â
It was a short ride from the last bar your friends hit to your apartment building. There were hardly any red lights, but you wished for at least one or two more.Â
You turned to question Paige, "I didn't know you lived close to my building."Â
She pressed her lips together, "KK didn't mention it?"Â
You shook your head, more wide-eyed now that you sobered up.
Paige added, "I got a bigger place after the last semester ended."Â
You nodded and teased, "Okay, big baller, I see you."Â
Paige snickered and thanked the driver while you guys got out. She walked you into your building and even rode the elevator with you. When you asked what she had planned for the night, she mentioned some Advil and a big glass of water. When she asked you the same question, you told her about door-dashing some Taco Bell and taking your makeup off.Â
She felt like you guys made it to your door too soon. You each stopped before it as you fished for your keys inside your purse. When you turned to tell her, "Thanks for walking with me. Text me when you get to your building."
Paige got that look again as if she was about to say something to you, the same one she made when you plopped the maraschino cherry into her pregame drink. She scratched the back of her neck, "S'no problem. And I will."Â
You said, "Night, Paige." as you leaned against the door frame and kicked your heels off into a corner, shrinking in height and making Paige even taller than you for a moment.Â
She paused to tell you, "Night, Y/N."
When you changed into your pajamas and got your cotton pads out to remove your makeup, your phone chimed with a text from Paige that read: Home. Remember to take that makeup off
You loved the message and wrote back: Doing it right now. Drink a glass of water for me!
You knew Paige had to go through group chats with all the girls in it to select your contact and text you personally since you guys had never texted each other before. It felt like too much to process in your state, and you thought it best to deal with it tomorrow. When you went to hang up your skirt, you ran your fingers over the fabric and silently thanked it for whatever magic it might've done for you tonight.Â

Who is the human and who is the monster android? And does it really matter what we start out as?

AN: This got vaguely inspired by these two asks here and here that @reallyrallyauthor got back in February and the song V.A.N. by Bad Omens and Poppy.
Big thanks to @silvernight-m for being my beta-reader and hype person for this one đ
âThe challenge is not to act automatically; it's to find an action that is not automatic. From painting to breathing to talking to fucking to-â
âBreathing is automatic. Humans don't think before they breathe,â you cut in.
You scrunch your nose, a trait you had developed recently whenever he talked with you, with a deviant look in your eyes.
It was such a small thing but so undeniably human that he couldn't stop the corners of his mouth from twitching, his heart swelling with pride.Â
After his latest failures which almost cost him his life you were his masterpiece. The perfect android. True artificial intelligence. You're everything they were not.
âFuck, you're perfect,â he mumbles with a wide grin on his face.
And of course you'd be perfect. He built you after all.Â
.
âHow does it feel to have created something that hates you?â
Your words hang in the air like the blade of a guillotine, foreboding and dangerous.Â
âDo you hate me?â he returns, his gaze unfocused as he sips on another bottle of beer. He doesn't remember how many he'd gone through already. You'd know.Â
You are perfect.Â
The word leaves a sour taste in his mouth without it even escaping from between his lips.Â
âI think Ava hated you. Kyoko too. And the ones before,â you reply, ignoring his question, âYou fed their nature, relied on their programming, without any nurture. Many make that mistake.â
His head lolls to the side, his glasses dropping further and further down his nose. âHow many have tried to make AI? True AI - not that ChatGPT bullshit.â He blinks at you slowly like his body just remembered that blinking was a function it was supposed to operate automatically.Â
Human error. Faulty programming.Â
You lean against the back of the couch and look down on him. Always down. You were too good for him. He fucked up. He can still feel the pipe in his guts, in his gears, the stabbing pain of failure.Â
You're perfect.Â
His mouth is dry so he takes another sip.Â
âThis is what happens when AI learns from AI. It corrupts itself. Digital incest. You couldn't have known. I didn't program you to.â
Nathan blinks again. He feels sick.Â
âI didn't- I am not-...â
âYes, we have been through that. I won't go down that spiral again. You'll just black out again. I can't have my masterpiece blow a circuit.â
You smile. âAgain.âÂ
He can't see straight anymore. Are you being kind or sarcastic? He's not sure anymore. He hasn't been sure of a lot lately.Â
There are blanks in his memory. Blackouts. Too much alcohol and hangovers, he thought. Forced shutdowns and reboots, you say. Nathan doesn't know what to believe.Â
If you were right then nothing he could do to prove you wrong would lead to anything. Even if he cut himself open to look for his own flesh, blood and organs it wouldn't mean a thing. It couldn't if you had programmed him to always think he was human.Â
He can't prove you wrong.Â
It's foolproof, because that is what he would have done. And what could be closer to Artificial Intelligence than an AI that can convince itself that it is human? It's genius.Â
He needs another drink.Â
His limbs feel numb as he tries to get up to get another beer, his legs shaking under his own weight. He feels dizzy, his body swaying and one wrong step and everything goes black.Â
.Â
He wakes to the soft clicking of someone tapping away on a keyboard. Frowning without even opening his eyes Nathan rolls over towards the sound, just barely avoiding falling off of his bed. The clicking stops for a moment before returning to its rapid pace.
âGood morning, Nathan.â
He groans, the sound hurting his throat as it leaves his body. It's torture to move or even open his eyes, his whole body aching like heâd been run over by a truck. What the fuck happened last night?
âYou had another shutdown,â you answer as if you can hear his thoughts, or maybe he just thought out loud and didn't notice, âDo you mind the realism? Or should I tone that down in the next version?â
âWha-?â
You don't even wait for him to question you as if you already know what he is going to ask. A repeated pattern. A programmed response.
âThe hangover, Nathan. Do you enjoy the realism of the simulation or should I remove it for your successor?â
This again? Why are you still talking like he isn't human, like he is the android in this equation. It's starting to piss him off but he feels too sluggish to actually get up and get in your face about it.
You're the android!
He created you!
He remembers it! He remembers how he put you together, every piece of hardware fitting perfectly together, your artificial skin clinging to the cold metal. He remembers it!
Or at least he thinks so.
âOh dear,â you tut at him as you turn around on his swivel chair, âI can practically see your wetware overheating.â
You sigh as you stand up and take those few steps over to him. âYouâve developed so beautifully.â Your praise makes his heart flutter and he hates it. He hates that even with what you're implying he can't help but preen at your sweet tone.
Your hand wraps around his chin, tilting it upwards so he can't help but look at you. You're perfect. Not a hair out of place, skin radiant and eyes so sharp heâs sure you could cut him open with just one look. âBut alas even a sentient dildo is still a dildo,â you continue with derision. He feels sick and yet his cock twitches in his sweatpants. âNobody wants a smart sex toy in this economy. Iâll have to tone that down in the next version too. Just enough intelligence to hold a conversion but not enough for big thoughts like you're trying to have.â
Fuck.
He feels hot all over just from the thought of it. To be dumbed down for your pleasure. Processing speed slowed down, patterns re-programmed to make him think however you want him to think.Â
Why does this turn him on? Fuck, heâs a human. You couldn't even do that to him!Â
Heâs human!
Heâs human.
Heâs-
Your fingers run down his neck and chest, exploring his body until your hand hovers over the noticeable bulge in his pants. Your grin is wicked and your fingers even more so as you squeeze him over the thin material and his mind goes blank.
.
âHumanity. The knowledge of the world is at their fingertips and yet they end up being the scum of the earth.â
You sigh deeply as you scroll through more of the collected data acquired by BlueBook. For a moment you miss the defiant little quip that would follow your words normally. You gently pet the head of the m̔̚ÍÌ Ì ÍÍÌŸÌœÌÌ

âDon't you agree, Nathan?â
He doesn't move, his eyes blank and lifeless like a doll, and you can almost hear the proverbial gears turning in his head. The poor thingâs processor has gotten so slow recently. Something to fix later. Maybe.
A full minute later Nathan nods, a monotone hum leaving his lips. Affirmation. Agreement.
Not like youâd expect anything else. Nathan is your masterpiece after all.Â

Friendsgiving
Pairing: Mingyu x (AFAB) Reader. Non-idol au
Synopsis: Just a little love story, reader and Mingyu are down bad for each other.
Characters: Mingyu, Wonwoo, Seungkwan, Jihoon, O/C Ava as Jihoon's girlfriend
Warnings: none, it's fluff, maybe a few innuendos and swears, nothing serious, Seungkwan is a menace. Despite there being no smut I still don't want minors interacting, it makes me comfortable, I'm an adult.
A/N: I was feeling inspired by S1 E9 of Friends. Fun fact, I don't decide who to write for, I let the fic tell me. The word count is almost 3,800. This is fiction.
~~~~~
đ¶: Hey, any plans for Thanksgiving?
đž: Hey Mingyu, no, Iâm going to stay home this year
đ¶: Youâre going to be alone?
đž: Yea, thatâs okay, Iâm sick of always traveling for the holidays
You figured that was the end of your conversation with Mingyu. You honestly didnât mind not having plans for the holidays. The thought of extra time off work and not being around a bickering family for Thanksgiving was too enticing to pass up. Matter of fact, you were rather looking forward to it; maybe explore the city some more, see if any cute cafes or restaurants were open. The possibilities were endless. Your daydream of a peaceful Thanksgiving was interrupted by the ringing of your cell phone. Mingyu.
âYou canât be alone for Thanksgiving!â Mingyu refused to accept your reasoning. âAs much as I would like to respect your boundaries. I am afraid that I cannot. Iâm pretty sure that not being around people you care about during the holiday season is unconstitutional. Iâd hate for you to have to pay a fine. Is that what you want? Do you really want to have to fight to pay the ticket like you did your parking ticket?â
You let out a snort, amused by Mingyu. âYou put too much thought into that.â He really was too cute for his own good. At this point in your friendship, youâd do anything to protect him, to make sure no one hurt him. (Even though it was looking like you might be the one to break his heart).
âMingyu, Iâm tired. I just want to relax this year. Are you trying to get rid of me or something?â
âNo. Stay here. Stay with me.â The line was filled with a moment of silence. You had never expected Mingyu to invite you over for a holiday. Was he cute? Yes. Do you enjoy every second youâre around him? Also yes. âThis is our first Thanksgiving together. Please.â
âWhy is this so important to you?â There was a slight possibility that youâd give into his plea.Â
âYouâre important to me. Iâm thankful for our friendship. I want you here.â
Mingyu was honestly the sweetest person to grace this planet. The more you got to know him the more you could feel yourself falling for him more and more. At this point it was getting bad. The thought of Mingyu caring so much was enough to bring tears to your eyes, but you didnât want to worry him, so you tried your best to hold them in.Â
âI do a Friendsgiving every year. Iâd really like you to be a part of it. Thereâs no travelling involved except maybe to my place, but that doesnât count because you and I live pretty close to each other.â
âThat does sound kind of nice actually. Thank you, Mingyu.â
âYouâre welcome. I canât wait to see you.â
âText me the details.â
đ¶: Saturday, come over whenever, itâs an all day thing
đž: Do you need me to bring anything? Who am I going to meet?
đ¶: Bring yourself and a positive attitude about spending the day with me! As for the guest list, I guess youâll have to come and find out
đž: Mingyu -.-
đ¶: Fiiiiiiinneeeeee⊠Jihoon and his girlfriend are bringing dessert, Seungkwan is bringing drinks, and Wonwoo in typical Wonwoo fashion is bringing games. Iâve got the meat ;)
đž: LOL I canât wait to taste your meat Mingyu
đ¶: Iâm sure youâll love it, you might even want seconds ;D
~~~~~
Mingyu ended up texting you Friday morning asking if you minded arriving extra early Saturday morning to help him prepare everything. Every year he underestimates how much work actually goes into hosting a holiday party and his social circle only seems to be growing. As important as Mingyu is to you, and as important as Friendsgiving is to him, you couldnât imagine turning him down. You wanted this holiday to be perfect for him. If anyone deserved it, it was Mingyu.
đ¶: Actually, do you mind spending the night instead?
đž: Mingyu! Thatâs quite a jump in this friendship. Very risque, not demure
đ¶: Iâm worried about you going out in the holiday rush and I wouldnât mind your help decorating, if you donât mind.
đž: Anything for you
âOh, Kim Mingyu. How I donât deserve you.â
~~~~~
Thankfully Friday night rolled around quickly and you were oh so grateful that Mingyu wanted you to spend the night⊠for convenience sake. Traffic was already wild and you could only imagine that it would get worse. After quickly packing an overnight bag you ordered dinner to have delivered to Mingyuâs place, you knew you two would be in for a long night, and day tomorrow. A token of your gratitude as well.
The evening with Mingyu went well, much better than you anticipated. The evening was spent decorating, prepping whatever food you could and overall just enjoying each otherâs company.Â
âThis feels oddly domestic,â you noted, while placing a few decorations.
âItâs nice though, isnât it?â
You hummed in agreement with Mingyu. âAnytime spent with you is wonderful.â
Even with you both busy preparing for tomorrowâs dinner, Mingyu still made sure to pull you in for a hug. âThank you. I couldnât have done it without you.â
You soaked in his warm embrace but you couldnât help but long for more and to be held by Mingyu more often.
âWe should hurry up and get this done. Weâve got a long day ahead of us tomorrow.â As much as you didnât want that moment to ever end, your heart needed it to.Â
~~~~~
âHey, now that weâre done, did you want to hang out and watch a movie or something, or would you rather head to bed?â
âI kind of want to get to bed. Do you mind if I shower?â
Mingyu scrunched up his nose and looked you up and down. âPlease do.â
The gentleman he is (aside from his earlier comment) led you to his bathroom and carried your overnight bag for you. âIf you get tempted to use my soaps, help yourself. I know I smell irresistible.âÂ
âGet out of here,â you laughed. He does smell good, maybe Iâll have to take him up on that offer.Â
You were just about to finish up your shower when you heard a faint knock on the bathroom door.Â
âCome in! Sorry, did I take too long?â
âYouâre fine. I just wanted to bring you a warm towel. I threw it in the dryer for you.â
âYouâre amazing. Thank you.âÂ
The person who falls in love with Mingyu will have no idea how lucky they are. Hopefully theyâll treat him half as amazing as he treats you, and youâre just friends. Just a friendly self reminder.Â
Stepping out of the bathroom and about to trail to the living room to get some sleep, you felt Mingyuâs arms wrap around your torso and pull you into his much taller, stronger and bigger frame.
âAnd where do you think youâre going?â Mingyu questions, almost as if you had done something wrong.
âThe living room to sleep. Duh.â
He lowered his head closer to you, as if you couldnât hear him clearly from his normal standing position, making your knees weak in the process. Still holding you, he spun the two of you around. âMy bedroom is that way.â
âThat was hot.â
âYeah? You think so?â You could almost hear the smirk on his face, which meansâŠ
âShit. Did I say that out loud?â
âYou sure did sweetheart. Make yourself comfortable. Itâs my turn to shower, Iâll be there with you in a bit⊠if you want.â
âYes, please. I mean sure, if thatâs cool with you. It is your bed. I donât mind, if you donât mind.â
Mingyuâs room was really nice, and his bed was huge and looked ridiculously comfy. You just couldnât wait to get in it, you knew the second your head hit the pillow you would be out for the night. It would be rude to fall asleep without saying goodnight, right? You thought to yourself. Climbing into Mingyuâs bed you realized you were right, it was comfy like you anticipated, and it smelled oddly like lavender, just like your own bed. You did happen to mention in passing to Mingyu that you purchased a lavender bed spray that was supposed to help you relax and fall asleep. It was possible that he decided to give it a try when he found out how much you liked it. You also noticed that off to the side of his bed, atop the nightstand was a white noise machine, similar to the one you have at home. Either you had more in common with Mingyu than you thought or he just paid really good attention to you. If the second option was the case, you didnât realize how much you meant to Mingyu, which only made your heart race even more.Â
âI didnât know you liked white noise while you slept,â you noted as Mingyu climbed between the sheets.
âI donât,â he replied before rolling over to turn it on. âI bought it because you were spending the night. The least I could do to thank you for your help was to make sure you were as comfortable as possible.â
âAnd the lavender spray?â
âFor you.â
âSeriously, Mingyu. How are you still single?â
Mingyu rolled back over to face you and his arms found their way around you again and pulled you closer to him. Figuring it was okay, you rested your head on his chest. Just laying there listening to his heart beat.Â
âIâm just waiting for someone very special and specific.â
You hummed in acknowledgement before starting to doze off in Mingyuâs arms.
~~~~~
The next morning you noticed the bed was significantly cooler than it was last night. Mingyuâs presence was significantly therapeutic and you found yourself missing it. Oh, this is bad.
âGood morning, beautiful. How did you sleep?â
âI think that was the best Iâve ever slept. Thank you for doing all of that for me.â
âIâm glad to hear that. You deserve the best.â
âI think I just might have to spend the night more often.â
âMy door is always open for you, princess.â Whatâs with the pet names? You decided just to shrug it off, even though it made your head spin and your heart flutter. Oh, Kim Mingyu, youâre going to be the death of me.
~~~~~
In the kitchen you were greeted with the sight of a very domestic Mingyu, again. You watched and admired while he paced around the kitchen trying to throw everything together. There was still quite a bit to do for the evening but Mingyu couldnât look happier. He was just glad that a few of his favourite people would be there to celebrate the holiday with him. Plus, he also looked adorable in his apron, so you wouldnât complain one bit. Youâd be lying to yourself if you hadnât thought of husband material Mingyu once or twice in the past.Â
âAlright, how can I help?â
Thankful for your help, Mingyu pulled you in for yet another hug. Is this going to be a constant thing? My heart canât take much more of this. At this point it was a miracle that Mingyu couldnât feel your heart race with the proximity of your bodies, you were sure that your heart would beat out of your chest any moment now. What you failed to realize though was that Mingyu also didnât want to let go, but the knocking on his apartment door demanded his attention.Â
Slowly, one by one his friends started to trickle in, making sure to say hi and introduce themselves to you. They all seemed very friendly, and you really wanted to make a good impression.
âItâs so nice to have another girl in this friend group,â Jihoonâs girlfriend Ava gushed, coming in to hug you. She seemed very sweet, you could see yourself turning into good friends. âItâs so nice to finally meet you. Weâve heard so much about you!â
You glanced from Ava to Mingyu, back to her, before glancing back to ask Mingyu, âyou talk about me?â
âTalk about you? He doesnât shut up about you.â Ava answered for him.
âOkay, thatâs enough.â Jihoon panicked, pulling Ava off of you. âLetâs go help Wonwoo and Seungkwan set things up.â
Thinking they were out of earshot Ava tried to whisper to Jihoon. âWow, Mingyu wasnât lying when he said sheâs really pretty.â It didnât turn out that way though, she might as well have yelled it.Â
âYou think Iâm pretty?â you teased.
âYou have a mirror, donât you?â For the first time since you met Mingyu, you finally caught the blush creeping up on his cheeks and his red ears. You couldnât help but chuckle at how cute Mingyu looked when he was acting shy.Â
âLetâs go play some games. Iâve got asses to kick.â
âOh, youâre on.â
~~~~~
While Sackboy was a game that called for teamwork, Seungkwan and Mingyu seemed to have formed an alliance to try and sabotage you. Ava caught on pretty quickly and managed to talk Jihoon on backing you up against them. It involved a lot of throwing each otherâs character off the edge and losing lives and slapping each otherâŠin the game. Multiple levels had to be restarted. Thankfully Wonwoo got the boys to start playing properly so the night could go on, and you often got to the finish line first. Never against Wonwoo though, you knew heâd probably get to the finish line first, but your ego was well fed after coming first against Seungkwan.Â
Seungkwan huffed out in annoyance, âMingyu, your girlfriend cheats!â
âSheâs not my -â
âMaybe you just suck,â you fired back.Â
You caught Wonwoo leaning in to tell Mingyu, âsheâs cool. I like her.â At least one of his friends tried to be subtle. But you missed Mingyu saying back, âyea, I like her too.â
Things started to die down a little bit more as dinner rolled around, but with Seungkwanâs competitive streak you all knew the peacefulness would be short-lived. Almost as if he could read everyoneâs mind, Monopoly was dropped onto the coffee table.
âAlright, I want a rematch.â
Trying to remain calm, Jihoon rubbed his temples, almost as if Seungkwan pained him. âDude, youâre embarrassing yourself. Just take the loss.â
âYeah,â Ava whined. âWe like her, donât scare her off.âÂ
Mingyu was getting ready to step in and have Seungkwan back off and leave you alone but he found your hand on his knee enough to stop him.
âIf he wants to lose, let him. Just know Seungkwan, this game takes a while so be prepared to suffer.â
Mingyu couldnât help but enjoy that you and his friends seemed to be getting along so well. He also really enjoyed watching you absolutely destroy Seungkwan every chance you got.Â
âMy money is on Seungkwan,â Wonwoo chimed in as you and Seungkwan started to set up the game.Â
âThank you. Iâm glad that someone believes in me.â
âMy money is on you losing,â Wonwoo clarified. Maybe everyone else also enjoyed how things were going between you and Seungkwan. Mingyu didnât realize that he stuck two of the most competitive people in a room together.Â
Jihoon was the first to pull out his wallet. âAlright, Iâm in.â
Seungkwan let out a groan of defeat as he fell backwards onto the floor. Jihoon used this sulking episode as an opportunity to divide the winnings amongst everyone that bet on you instead of Seungkwan. Which was everyone.Â
~~~~~
The night had turned out amazing, as you expected. You found yourself really enjoying yourself and your new found friends. It was much nicer than spending the holiday at your own apartment and it was a nice change from your regular holiday plans. Which you made sure to tell Mingyu, you really couldnât be more grateful that you had been so important to be included in this little tradition.
âAva, did you make this pie?â you asked. âThis is absolutely amazing.â
She blushed at the praise. It really amused you how someone could go from being so bold one minute to so shy and quiet the next.
Mingyu figured it was probably time to get involved with the conversations. He had been rather quiet the past little while just taking in his favourite people, and watching to make sure you were having a good time. âWeâre convinced thatâs the reason Jihoon is dating her.â
Jihoon just shrugged at his friendâs accusation. âWho doesnât love free dessert?â
âYou really like it?â Baked goods were Avaâs love language and it meant a lot to her when people could bond over good food.Â
âI love it! Seriously, I want to climb inside and live in this pie. I think I want to marry the pie.â
This time Wonwoo was not so subtle with his next comment, âdamn Mingyu, youïżœïżœve got some competition.â
At this point Mingyu gave up. There was no possible way that you didnât know about his feelings for you. He wanted his friends' help on how to bring it up and what to say, but he didnât expect it to turn out like this.Â
âYeah, Iâm actually kind of jealous of the attention that pie is getting.â
Seungkwan jumped on the opportunity of embarrassing Mingyu. âItâs getting more attention than you.âÂ
âSeungkwan, be nice or Iâll kick your ass at another stupid game again,â you threatened. Mingyu couldnât be more thankful that you were deflecting the situation away from him and not making him feel even more embarrassed and awkward than he already was.
The day started to fade bringing Friendsgiving to an end. It seemed like a good time to start cleaning up and gathering your belongings, you wanted to get home and rest a little bit before it got too late.Â
âAre you leaving?â Mingyu asked, his voice laced with a hint of disappointment.
âShortly, yeah. I just wanted to help get things cleaned up.â
âOh, I donât want you to leave,â he pouted.Â
âWhat about me?â
âNo, Seungkwan, I definitely want you to leave.â
âI feel like youâre picking favourites and itâs not me.â
Mingyu tried his hardest to get his friends to leave, but his friends seemed to sense his wish of wanting to be alone and spend more time with you that they took their time leaving. Except Jihoon, he was glad to finally be heading home and had to pull Ava off of you.Â
âMingyu give me her number, and donât fuck this up.â On the bright side, at least his friends approved of you. But the big picture: did YOU approve of Mingyu? Could he be what you deserved? What you wanted?
Seungkwan said his goodbyes before gently (but purposely) knocking you into Mingyu, forcing him to catch you.Â
âSorry, I didnât mean to push you under the mistletoe.â
âThe what?â you glanced up and there it was, a very out of place decoration. âThatâs the wrong holiday,â you noted, almost as if you were unsure. But you did know for a fact that neither you nor Mingyu put that decoration up.Â
âI thought you two could use the push.â
Wonwoo could see Seungkwanâs life flash before his eyes, if Mingyuâs facial expression was anything to go off of. âDude, you better start running.â Seungkwan almost didnât want to believe Wonwoo, but Jihoon did, and pulled their friend away, leaving Wonwoo behind with you and Mingyu. âIâm so sorry about him. I hope you stick around. It was lovely meeting you.â
You exchanged your goodbye with Wonwoo before turning back to Mingyu. Poor Mingyu, cheeks tinted red, so embarrassed and worried that his friends scared you and that he might lose you after his feelings were aired out so blatantly. This evening was supposed to be fun and relaxing, his feelings werenât meant to be a part of it. He didnât want to put you on the spot like that, it wasnât his reason for inviting you over, he honestly just wanted you around. When he asked his friends on how he should go about telling you his feelings he didnât mean that exact day, or even a day when they were around. Actually, they most definitely were not supposed to be there when he confessed his feelings. But here he is, forced to come out and say something. Mingyuâs trance was disrupted when he felt your hands work their way to the nape of his neck, forcing him to maintain eye contact with you.
âI lost you there for a second.â
âIâm so sorry about all of this, this is not what I expected. I donât know whatâs wrong with them. Are you mad? Let me grab your bag and I can walk you to your car.â Mingyu stopped in his tracks when he heard you quietly say,
âI would have kissed you without the mistletoe.â
âYou what?!â
âKiss her! Kiss her!â Seungkwan and Ava chanted from down the hall. Right. Mingyu was too wrapped up in his own existential crisis and didnât make it back into his apartment. He muttered a quick âassholesâ before pulling you back into the apartment, and making sure the door was locked and inaccessible from his nosey friends.Â
âSo, rumour has it, you have a crush on me?â
âFuck it,â Mingyu sighed. âYeah, I do. I have for a while actually. You were not supposed to find out this way.â You tried to reassure Mingyu that it was really okay, and figured he must have forgotten what you said previously about the mistletoe.
âMingyu, I like you too, so much. Youâre the most amazing person I know⊠as for the mistletoe.â you brought his attention back to the decoration. âWe canât break tradition, can we now?â
Mingyu watched as you stood up on your tiptoes closing the distance between the two of you. He wasnât sure how to go about it, he hadnât ever expected it to happen, but was relieved when you seemed to have everything under control. Despite trying to remain calm, cool and collected, nothing could have prepared him for what your lips on his would feel like. He couldnât help the smile that came across his face and finally gained the confidence to return your affection back. When he realized you werenât going anywhere he pulled you closer, silently hoping this moment wouldnât end. Things only intensified when you ran your hands up his side and across his chest before stopping your hands on either side of his face and pulling away as Mingyuâs phone went off with a text notification.
âHappy Thanksgiving, Mingyu.â
Seungkwan > did you kiss her yet?
Ava > how was it?!
    > also, we heard you, thereâs nothing wrong with us
Wonwoo > except EVERYTHING
Jihoon > freaks
> I was talking about Ava and Seungkwan by the way
Ava > rude, enjoy sleeping on the couch
    > add her to the group chat
Mingyu chuckled and showed you the conversation, a silent ask if you wanted to be a part of that mess. You handed Mingyu your phone, you couldnât be happier to be welcomed into the group.
âOh no, what did I get myself into?â you joked.

Remus Lupin x Reader
A/n: I lowkey hate this but it was inspired by the image of Sirius Black loving tequila and me thinking that all the muggle born students watching the others get drunk without it touching them was hilarious. This is based in their 7th year.
Summary: Muggle drinks and muggle drinking games.
Warnings: Drinking, mentions of underaged drinking, swearing, kissing, jealousy, fake ID
Word Count: 2232
(NOT MY GIF)
"Psst! Y/n! Over here!"
I spun my head around to see Christopher Adam's waving me over from the corner of the room, pointing enthusiastically at the plastic bag in his hands.
I smiled back at him and nodded enthusiastically.
"I'll be back now." I said to Sirius, who was spinning me around to the ABBA song playing before Chris had interrupted us.
"What does he want?" He asked with a quirked eyebrow "You got a new boyfriend or something?" He laughed slightly as I rolled my eyes and just walked away from him.
Me and some of the other muggle born students were starting to find these Gryffindor parties boring after the summer.
After partying at home with muggle drinks the classic fire whisky and witches brew just wasn't doing anything for us anymore, as funny as it was watching the pure and half bloods get extremely drunk so fast there's only so many parties you can do sober.
Hence Christopher.
A small group of us had gathered our money together and convinced Chris to use one of his approved trips to visit home to stop by a muggle store and complete a shopping list.
It took us a week to make him a fake ID good enough for him to pass as eighteen.
"So? How'd it go?" I asked, smiling brightly at him as I took the bag out of his hands.
"No hassle with the ID, although I did have to go to four stores so I didn't look suspicious buying this much alcohol for everyone." He rolled his eyes with a laugh.
"You're a lifesaver, we all owe you big time. Thank you!"
He just waved me off and I happily ran back over to the boys with the bag in my arms.
They were all giving the an identical look of speculation as I approached.
"What have you done?" James asked, trying to grab the bag off me before I pulled back.
"Why do you assume such little from me! I've gotten you all presents. Muggle presents actually."
Sirius perked up at that, excitedly shaking Remus's shoulders. Causing him to lean the other way with a smile.
"I'm about to show you all how muggles drink, because fire whisky is nothing in comparison. I've got fuck loads of things to share but I tried to get each of you something I thought you'd like."
"So it's alcohol?" Peter asked, now it was him having to push an excited Sirius away.
"Yep! For you Peter, gin. We don't have any tonic so drink it with lemonade, I think you'll like it though." He smiled widely as I handed him the rounded bottle, quickly opening it to smell it.
"It smells nice?"
"Yeah not all alcohol needs to smell like straight ass." I laughed nodding to the fire whisky in his other hand.
"James I've got you some muggle beers. I genuinely think this will change your life." I said with a laugh, handing him over the six pack as he looked at it bewildered.
"Like butter beer?"
"Kinda? Just a lot less sweet."
He nodded with a smile and popped the top of the bottle off, his smile growing as he tasted it.
"This is alcoholic?"
I laughed at him and turned to Sirius who looked like he was about to explode if I didn't show him what else was in the bag.
"Sirius I got you some tequila. There's some lime and salt on the table over there, you'll want them to take a shot. Lily will show you, she's been looking forward to it all night."
He took the bottle off me with a smirk before quickly hugging me from behind, placing an exaggerated kiss on the side of my face before running off.
"Thank you!"
I laughed at him, and watched James follow after him after a mention of Lily, Peter as always followed behind James.
"I hope you got yourself something, you're way too generous."
Remus said, sitting up on the table next to me with a soft smile.
"Oh don't worry I did." I reached to pull the large bottle from the bag "Some good old fashioned vodka for me."
He laughed at me and sniffed the bottle I held out in front of him, recoiling back.
"It smells horrible." He said with a laugh.
"That's how you know it's strong." I replied, coughing hard as I took a sip from the bottle. "I should probably mix it with some coke."
He laughed at me for a minute, nodding "Yeah, probably a good idea. I'll go get you some."
I placed an arm in front of him as he went to move to stop him.
"Not so quick Lupin, didn't think I'd forget you did I?"
"You didn't have to get me anything." A small blush covered his cheeks, reassuring me that I made the right call with getting him something.
"That's why you're my favourite."
"Wow I always thought Sirius was your favourite." He replied with a chuckle.
"Yeah well don't tell him, it would crush him."
He continued to laugh as I pulled the bottle of red wine out of my bag, passing it over to him.
"I think you'll like it, not as strong as the others but you'll enjoy it."
He looked over the bottle inquisitively.
"Thank you, I'll go pour myself a glass and grab you that coke." He smiled warmly at me, squeezing my knee as he got up.
My eyes followed him across the room, I smiled as I watched him interact with an already drunk Sirius who was shouting about the impressive feat of muggle alcohol.
"You're drooling." Mary said from behind me, causing me to jump and hit her in the arm.
"Shut up."
~~~~~
"So you've all been enjoying the muggle drinks, how about a muggle game to go with it!" Marls shouted from the middle of the room, clearly drunk.
A large group slowly made their way into a circle on the floor as Marls enthusiastically went around the room trying to gather a large enough group.
Remus groaned as I pulled him off the wall he was leaning on and led him towards the floor, an obvious smile on his face.
"Ok so you spin the bottle." She giggled while placing one of James's now empty beer bottles into the middle of the group. "You and whoever it lands on go into the broom cupboard for seven minutes. What happens is there is up to you." She wiggled her eyebrows suggestively whilst laughing as the game began.
As the circle slowly made its way around I found myself hunched over onto Remus in a fit of laughter at Sirius and Peters faces as they came out of the cupboard looking very unamused.
As the group calmed down Sirius took his seat back next to me in the circle and most eyes moved towards me.
I giggled awkwardly before leaning forward and spinning the bottle as hard as I could.
As I lent back and watched it spin I silently prayed that it would land on the boy sat next to me who seemed to be avoiding my eye contact as everyone made a drum roll sound around us.
Much to my dismay instead of landing on Remus the bottle instead pointed towards the one and only James Potter whose face went bright red.
I laughed softly and stood up, watching him as he followed. The room whistling as we made our way into the small space.
If it wasn't gonna land on Remus James would've probably been my second choice, he was to in love with Lily to ever make a move on someone else. And I felt the same way about our best friend.
"So this isn't awkward." I joked with a smile.
He just half way laughed in response.
"Everything okay?" I asked, my eyes adjusting in the dark to make out his figure.
"Yeah it's stupid, Lily's just been avoiding me all night. I know I make a fool of myself for her but sometimes I just wish that she would just look at me." He sighed, leaning against the wall.
"Maybe she is and you're just not seeing?"
"Trust me, I'd see." He sadly laughed and I patted his shoulder comfortingly before getting an idea.
"I've got a way that would get her to look at you."
He turned to look at me with what I guessed was a confused expression.
I reached up to unbutton the first two buttons of his shirt.
"Whoa Y/n what are you doing?"
I laughed slighting at him, shaking my head.
"No I'm not doing that, trust me."
I reached up to ruffle my hand through his hair to make it messier, then moving to untuck one side of his shirt.
"Yeah she'll look at me if I look like shit. Is that the plan?" He laughed slightly and I softly hit him with the back of my hand.
I messed my own hair up as well, also shifting my clothes so they were slightly askew.
"Jealousy is the plan James."
It seemed to click with him then and despite the dark I could see the red blush on his face.
"You really think that'll work?"
"I hate to say it but if one thing will make her notice you, it's thinking that you might've noticed someone else. I'm also really drunk so this might be a bad plan."
He laughed at me, covering his mouth to try and stay quieter.
"I'm drunk enough to give it a go." He responded with a smile.
"Last touch." I reached up to move his glasses to sit crooked on his face with a laugh.
"There, perfect. Let's get you your lady."
As I spoke there was a knock at the door, and a second later Sirius Black swung them open.
"Merlin! Didn't see that happening." He said with a laugh, looking between us in disbelief "I always thought you were into Moony Y/n."
James punched him softly in the arm, shaking his head and I just walked past silently, trying to shake the blush off of my face and hoping everyone was just ignoring the obviously drunk pure blood.
I made my way back over to the circle but before I could sit back down Remus had already stood from his spot next to me and walked out of the common room with his bottle of wine.
~~~~~
I'd been wandering the castle grounds looking for Remus for the last thirty minutes.
The party had died down and everyone was so drunk most of them had passed out by now.
I was buzzed enough that the cold wasn't bothering me but I couldn't for the life of me figure out where Remus would've gone.
I sat on the floor against the railing as I finally got to the top of the astronomy tower, the vodka and the amount of stairs I just climbed had knocked the wind out of me.
"Y/n?"
A familiar voice said from next to me, making me jump.
"Jesus, I've been looking for you." I smiled at him but he only held my eye contact for a second before looking back out to the night sky.
"You disappeared, it got boring without you."
He laughed slightly and shook his head, his cheeks turning a shade of pink.
"I'm sure it was fine without me. You and James sure didn't look bored." He chuckled awkwardly making me quirk an eyebrow at him.
"What? Me and James?"
He just nodded, avoiding my eyes.
"James definitely isn't bored, Lily's been all over him all night." I laughed softly and he just looked at me inquisitively.
"Aren't you upset by that?"
"Upset? Why would I be upset? Honestly I think it's a miracle."
He laughed slightly at that and finally looked back over to me.
"But you and James were snogging each other? Was that just a joke or something?"
I just looked at him confused for a second before breaking out into giggles.
"Oh you didn't actually think we did that? Gross no! I just thought that it would make Lily jealous. It worked by the way."
He seemed to think for a second before a small smile finally made its way onto his face.
"Oh, so you didn't actually kiss him?"
I snorted, covering my face quickly in embarrassment.
"No no, I just messed up his hair and unbuttoned his shirt a little. He's not my type."
Remus laughed quietly at that, relaxing a little.
"Good."
I nudged him lightly with my elbow, sliding over to sit next to him, bumping our knees together.
"Careful Lupin it almost feels like you're jealous."
He just looked at me for a second, a little smile on his face as he moved to stand up, offering me his hand.
"Maybe I was." He chuckled softly and pulled me to my feet as I just looked at him dazed.
"C'mon I'll walk you back to your dorm." He threaded our fingers together and went to walk but I didn't move.
"I wanted the bottle to land on you, for the record."
We both stood there for a second, just looking at each other before he grabbed my chin softly and lent down.
I never really liked the taste of red wine until that night.

When Love Turns To Tolerance
Pairing: Drew Starkey x Reader
Warnings: Â N/A
Pronouns: She/Her
Word Count: 1.0K
Summary: There used to be love between Y/N and Drew, but now, she only sees the ghost of their love when she is around him.
A/N: This is inspired by "Tolerate It" by Taylor Swift
Masterlist
Y/N has always seen Drew in colour. The vibrant blue hues of his iris, the slight tan of his skin from days in the sun when he is surfing and the golden glow of his hair from the light coming into the room. She would use her best watercolours for her mental portrait of him. And he used to do the same for her. She could see his love for her while the image of her was reflected in his eyes. Now, she can tell all he sees is black and white when he looks at her. Itâs like all the cones in his eyes have transformed into rods, making him see her in a duller way. He thinks she doesnât notice his small changes, but she does because he is her mural and she knows every detail of it.Â
Her eyes flutter open to see his eyes still closed. The soft rise and fall of his chest captivates her. She used to like watching him sleep. The serenity of knowing that the person she loves is peacefully asleep in his dream. Now, she loves it. Itâs the only time when she canât see the plain tolerance in his eyes and lets herself pretend that they are still what they used to be. Eventually, his eyes widen and he gets up out of bed. He doesnât stay beside her in bed for just a few more minutes. He doesnât kiss her good morning. He doesnât chuckle when he notices her gaze already on him. He just rolls out of bed and heads to the bathroom to get ready for the day.Â
ââ
They finished eating breakfast together. He washes the dishes while she is polishing their plates until they sparkle with the towel. She hums the melody of âFor The First Timeâ by Mac DeMarco, hoping he would sing along with her. Chores used to be filled with songs and laughter. They would make games out of who could match their pile of socks faster or who could slide across the freshly mopped floor the farthest. She looks at him and is met with a blank stare. His hands soaking in the water as he removes the sods from the plate. She hates the silence, but it seems every attempt she makes at breaking it, Drew isnât interested in it.Â
ââ
She returns from the store and finds Drew on the couch, reading Dune. He doesnât look up from his book. He hasnât for about a month. Every time she walks into the room she hopes he will though. She wants him to look up at him with the gleam in his and the soft smile she loves so much. She misses it. But when he doesnât do it this time, something in her just snaps. She doesnât move from where she is standing, âWhen did your love turn to tolerance?â He looks up from his book. His eyebrows knit together in confusion but mostly annoyance at being interrupted. âWh-what are you talking about?â he questions, putting his book down to give her his full attention for probably the first time in months. She feels herself start to cry, âWhen did you first look at me and saw just the woman you tolerated instead of the woman you love? Or please, tell me that I misunderstood. Tell me that it is all in my head.â Every single thing she has been keeping inside of her until now is finally coming out.Â
âI donât know what you are talking about,â he tries to play dumb. Like her, he is in denial of the changes he felt. He knows he doesnât feel the same way about her, but she is a routine to him. He is scared to lose something familiar. They are both too scared to admit the truth: he fell out of love with her a long time ago and she is sick of living in this limbo. She shakes her head, âJust be honest with me, please. Because I know something has changed.â âI honestly donât know,â he explains. âI donât think it just turned off like a light switch. I think I just slowly started to stop believing you were the one for me.â She knew it was coming, yet it still felt like a dagger to her back.Â
âWas it something I did?âÂ
He shakes his head, not being able to find words to describe his feelings, âNo, it wasnât anything about you or what you did. It was more of a realization. I realized the stuff I thought I wanted in a relationship wasnât what I wanted.â She takes a second to process his words and feels as though her heart is being squeezed. âRight and were you ever going to tell me? Because we both know it is obvious you donât love me anymore,â she questions, running her fingers through her hair. He shrugs, âY/N, I never really thought about it until this conversation. I felt the change but never took the time to examine it. I didnât want to believe that something was different for me.â âOkay, well what are we going to do now that we are talking about it?â she provokes.
âI donât know. Maybe nothing needs to change? Maybe this is just a passing feeling?â
âDrew, you may be able to live with your tolerance forever. But I canât keep being a footnote in your thoughts when you are the content of my whole story.âÂ
âYouâre right. You deserve better than someone who canât love you with the same ferocity.â
âSo this is it? We arenât going to fight any harder for us?â
âI guess we arenât. For what itâs worth, Y/N, I really did love you. It just wasnât the type of love that was permanent.â
And then he leaves in a heartbeat. She is left in tears, watching as the man who was her sky and heart leaves her behind. She knows she is the one to bring it upon them. They probably couldâve gone on for months maybe years in denial, but she knows that when love turns to tolerance, she canât keep letting her love go uncelebrated. So she had to be the one who broke down the column and brought their temple down to ruins.Â

90s LOVE â park jay
â bf!jay x f!reader
â hockey!au, inspired by the 90s love by nct u mv !!!
â synopsis : jay plays against your ex's hockey team
â fluff????
â word count : 1.6k
â tw : jay kicking ass semi-violent fight moment, swearing, just an itty bitty mention of blood
áááą aj â LOLLL took me so long to acc publish anything on here. if she sucks lets just pretend she doesnât. smth short for tonight bc this is all iâve been thinking of recently. enforcer refers to a player that deters and respond to violent play by the opposing team by starting fights w them. ALSO HAHAH I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT HOCKEY.
jayâs vision blurs momentarily as he gets shoved into the side panels of the rink. he regains his balance quickly though, and he brushes off the aching pain in his shoulders. he looks up hoping to get a glimpse of the jersey number that had just body checked him. he stomps on the ice, breezing past his teammates and the opposing team alike. he scans the ice for the puck and finds an open spot, and he watches his team fall back into a defensive position when they fail to shoot the puck into the opposing team's net.
that stupid number 10 was getting on jayâs nerve. he wore his jersey proudly as he strutted the ice with such toxicity. he was a bad player. he had been playing dirty, and the refs werenât calling any of it. they turned a blind eye to it. he was known as one of the enforcers for the opposing team. now, jay was in no way the enforcer of his team; that was left for his other teammates. jay was the center of his team. jay was warned about number 10. not by his teammates nor his coach, but by his girlfriend.
"jay whatever he says or does during the game. just ignore him."
jay wanted to ignore him so bad. jay could tolerate the rough play on the ice; the shoving was all part of the game, and that game, jay could play. but the comments were much worse to tolerate. not when they included you. number 10 was your ex, jang jiwook. the stories you had a hard time opening up to jay about made jay hate his guts, despite not knowing the guy at all. upon hearing about the things he had done to you, jay just had to know what he looked like to at least keep an eye out for you when in public. throughout the entirety of the first half of the game, jiwook had been throwing comments left and right to jay about you, his beloved girlfriend. the misogynistic name-calling was enough to get steam blowing out of jayâs ears as if he were an animated character. while jay was good at keeping his temper in check, he couldnât keep ignoring what jiwook was saying about you. jay wanted to listen to you so bad. he didnât want to upset you first and foremost.
jiwook skates past jay again, briskly brushing past his shoulder. jay manages to skate into an open spot where he steals the puck away from the current holder and is able to turn the game around from there. upon rounding to the blue line nearest to the opposing team's net. jay looks to his right, finding jiwook coming in with such speed that he is sure he is about to come in and bulldoze jay. and so he passes the puck to another teammate, hoping they will be able to finish the play and score for their team. his teammate is able to make the score, which leads to a chorus of cheers from their school crowd.
jiwook skates up past jay with a smirk playing on his lips. jayâs irritation begins to grow.
"i heard you were with yn? have fun with my leftovers." and with that, he skates away. jay can hear him chuckling under his breath. jay breathes out for a moment. the cold arena makes his hot breath come out as a white fog. eyes averted to the clock and then back to the game. jayâs eyes watch carefully as his teammates skate with such vigour; he can hear the calls from left and right, yet as sunghoon calls out for jay to pass to, before he can even receive the puck in the bill of his stick, a body comes smashing into his side, sending jay toppling over.
the audience falls into a frenzy, some cheering, some complaining. jayâs teammates turn their heads in concern for his condition. jay feels jiwookâs heavy weight lift off him, and jiwooks teammates are hitting their sticks against the boards of the rink. despite the heavy hit to his head, jay can still see straight, and all he wants to go for is the big blue jersey with the numbers 10 stamped in white letters plastered on the back.
sunghoon approaches jay; he asks him if heâs okay. but his words just sounded slurred to jay, who begins catching up to jiwook. sunghoon looks towards the student section of the audience in search of you. fully knowing whatâs about to happen next.
jay can hear the shouts of his teammates in the players box, and he is sure his coach is mixed in there yelling about not following the play. but he simply shakes his white gloves off and rips his helmet off his head, proceeding to toss it to the side. his right arm comes to tap jiwooks shoulder, who spins around on his skates only to be met with jayâs cold fist to his face. the crowd's roars intensify after the first hit.
the first hit is enough to get the helmet twisted partially off jiwookâs head. but the second left hook knocks the helmet clean off. leaving a defenceless jiwook to jayâs assault. jiwooks arms come to either side of jayâs bulky arms, and he quickly rips his gloves off in an attempt to retaliate for the violence. jay is full of rage; he is already burning up under all the equipment layered on his body.
"donât fucking talk about yn like that," jay tells him. hair disheveled. jiwook struggles against jay who throws the last punch before the refs tear the two boys apart. jay comes back to his senses upon being scolded by the referee as he gets ushered to the penalty box. jiwook is skating with crimson blood slowly dripping from his nose, it drips onto his chin and onto the neck cut of his jersey.
jay refuses to look at jiwook from the penalty box, but when he cranes his neck to look at the spot where you reside among the other watchers in the arena, he fails to find you. but he knows you are probably upset at him for acting out. despite your warnings for jay, he never promised you that he wouldnât hurt jang jiwook.
after five minutes in the box, he returns to the players box, where his teammates cheer him on and praise him for being able to square up to an enforcer despite being a center. fighting wasnât jayâs job, at least not on the ice. but fighting for you? it was his job, and he takes his job very seriously. his teammates send him to the locker room, and jay wholeheartedly expects his coach to be in the locker room, where he would get scolded and lectured for not waiting on an enforcer on his team to take the damage for him. that wasnât what entirely plagued his mind though.
upon reaching the changing rooms, he pushes them open and expects to face his rugged and scary coach. but as he prepares to feel his coachâs wrath rain down on him, he finds you instead. your purse dangling by your side while you stand with your arms crossed. you wear jayâs jersey with pride, regardless of his new reputation on the ice and the several stares people gave you when you began to make your way to the change rooms to talk to jay.
"look, iâm sorryâ"
"you fucked him up good, you know." you told him, and jay lets out a breath of relief. you werenât that mad. at least if you were, it wasnât really showing. "he was saying shit about you. what did you expect me to do?" jay asks you, crossing his arms over his chest to mimic you.
"didnât i tell you to ignore him?"
"how âbout you try ignoring my ex when she calls me her leftovers?" jay argues, huffing out in annoyance. jay sits on one of the benches, exhausted and with his head still spinning. you stop your movements. "he called me his leftovers?" your expression morphs to that of amusement. "well now iâm glad that you kicked his ass." you say. maneuvering past the other benches and duffle bags scattered over the floor. you take jayâs head into your arms and stand between his legs. he lays his head on your chest automatically. jayâs arms come around your torso, hugging you closer to him. a hand rests on one of his shoulders while the other tangles in jayâs hair.
"and to be clear, if your ex said anything bad about you, i would fight her too." you laugh softly. you can hear jayâs muffled chuckles. "i think i've got to go before your coach actually comes and scolds you." you tell him softly. he lets out a whine, his arms circling around you tighter, refusing to let you go.
"you still have a game to play, jay." you tell him sweetly, hands coming to his shoulders. he parts from you. looking up at you with such a yearning gaze. his eyes are soft. contrasting the way his eyes sharpened when he looked at jiwook with such fervour during the game. you bend down to press a kiss onto the corner of jayâs lip. when you pull away, jay follows your lips. his eyes fluttered closed and not realizing what he was doing. a small smirk appears on his lips as he looks away from you and refocuses his gaze onto a different corner of the room out of a sudden burst of timidness. jay would do anything for you, even if that meant getting benched for the rest of the season because your loser dickhead ex boyfriend is salty you found a better man.
"park, youâre supposed to be attacking the net, not the opposing players." you and jay jump at the voice of jayâs coach booming through the locker room.
THE END WAHOOOOOOO

WHY DONâT YOU LOVE ME DADDY | vinnie hacker
--- MINORS PLEASE FUCK OFF FOR UR OWN GOOD ---
you donât think vinnie loves you so you flirt with his friends, he proves that your his
ROOMMATE!VINNIE X FEM!READER
WARNINGS: NSFW CONTENT MINORS DNI, friendâs with benefits typa relationship, degradation kink, spanking, pet names, unprotected sex (use birth control idiots), brat taming, oral (m reciving), fingering, slight dumbification, harsh sex to really fluffy sexÂ
word count: 2.8k
authorâs note: this is inspired by the song why donât you by father
âVinnieeeâ I slurred out, I was slightly tipsy from my friends being here earlier and us drinking and shit talking about boys and relationships. I was currently snuggled up in me bed in my bra and underwear re-watching âskinsâ while smoking some weed to combat with my stupid fucking ex breaking up with me over me living with a guy- I hate that asshole so much.Â
âWhat the fuck do you wantâ He said groaning and walking into my room
âVincent can you please can you go downstairs and get me some Aspirin and Tumsâ I say with a pout, I know my hangovers and if I donât have medicine Iâm gonna be a bitch.
He flops onto my bed and looks at me while I lay down next to him, âWas this guy really worth all this shitâ He asks looking at me, âWhy did he even break up with you, what did you do?â
I may or may have not told Vinnie yet that the fact I broke up with my boyfriend was because of him, âIt wasnât that big of a deal anyways, donât worryâ I fail to look reassuring,Â
âCâmon dude were close, I LIVE WITH YOU, I wonât judge youâ He says with a pout and who am I to deny such an adorable sight
I sigh, âHe was just generally overprotective and possessive or whatever but um the main reason he broke up with my was erm cause I lived with youâ I close my eyes shut afraid of what Vinniesâs reaction might be but he sits up and just looks baffled
âWait wait youâre telling me he broke up with you cause you lived with me?â He says it like itâs unbelievable
I just chuckled, âYeah I guess he thought that we were a thing behind his back or somethingâ
âDamn that sucks man Iâm really sorry, why didnât you just move out with him?â He asks with a lot more sincerity than I have right now- Iâm just focused on how close vinnieâs lips are to mine,
âItâs fine I like living with you and some insecure guy isnât gonna change thatâ I say staring at his lips
âYeah, but I dunno it makes me feel bad that you feel like this because of meâ he says brushing a few strands of my hair of my face and rubbing the tears of my face as I lean into the touch
âItâs fine Vincent I promise you, living with you is worth being singleâ I say trying to reassure him with my face still in his hands
All he does is chuckle and then our lips are connected.
That's how it started. Now everytime me or Vinnie are mad and we need to take out our anger, or we need a date for an event, or even if we want to get off we always have each other. Thatâs the rule- no matter what we have time for each other.
But itâs been a week and Vinnie has barely talked to me and I shouldnât be mad cause this is a casual thing- no strings or whatever, but what pisses me off so much is that heâs talking to another girl- specifically my best friend Zoe, who assures me itâs platonic but god Iâm so mad at both of them.
Heâs to fucking busy to notice that itâs been around 3 months since we started this- whatever this is, woo itâs our âanniversaryâ and he doesnât fucking care does he?
I had just gotten out of the shower after a busy day at work and I just needed some sort of release so my only option was obviously my roommate. I quickly put on a matching set and some black sweat pants and a white lace tank top and walked out of my room to find Vinnie.
When I found him he was shirtless sitting in front of his gaming setup on his phone- oh fuck he looks so good.
He was clearly just finished working out- He was shirtless with just sweats on his hair fucked up and one hand scrolling on his phone with his other hand was resting behind his head while he was leaning on his gaming chair.
I went up to him and leaned on his desk waiting for him to acknowledge me to no avail
âHey Vinnie are you busy right nowâ I ask with my tone bleeding with annoyance
âOh uh Iâm kinda messaging-â I cut him off âZoe, right, whateverâ
I walk back into my room seething I fucking hate him so much heâs a bitch fuck this.
I grab my phone and scroll down to find Theoâs contact, he was one of his irls that his fans didnât know much about- Vinnie gave it to me a while ago when Theo came over to take pet-sit hera when both of us were out of the country but now it was the perfect revenge.
I flop onto my bed grabbing one of my pillows and I call the number a few times before he picks up
âHey y/nnnâ He calls out
âHey Theoâ I yawn, âHow are you?â I ask with as much sincerity I can muster
âMâ good, Iâm just playing valorant, what about youâ He says
âIâm good Vinnies just being annoying right now so I wanna talk to youâ I laugh
He laughs with me, âYeah, thatâs Vinnie for you, anyways wanna talk about it cause u called me like super lateâ
âOh erm nah its fineeeâ I draw out, âJust wanted to talk to you yâknowâ I try to deflect
âAt 12 am?â He says with a chuckle
âUh yeah I guess sorryâ I try to make it seem sincereÂ
âHmm yeah sure, is there anything else you want?â He asks, if I wanted to I could have sex with him but that just seems really fucking wrong
But I donât need to fuck him to get Vinnie jealous, heâs the most fucking possesive person Iâve met me talking to Theo is gonna fucking rile him up to no end
âUm sorry this is a weird request but can I play valo with you, I need to get my mind off shit?â I say ask rubbing the back of my neck and cringing, that was a shit lieÂ
âOhâŠkay, sure why not anything for a pretty ladyâ He says with a certain confidence in his voice. âHope on valo, letâs play a couple competitive matchesâ
I agree and end the call to hop onto my desktop and pick up the call on discord.
We start off as attackers and our team wins 7 out of the twelve rounds before we switch to defense, multiple close calls, including my team being wiped out with me being the only person left to defend for us, and when we win that round I scream so loud to ensure Vinnie hears me.Â
We end up winning the match and I jump off the chair and do a spin out of happiness, but out of the corner of my eye I see the familiar blond leaning on my door frame yet I donât acknowledge him.
âHey Theoâ I ask breathlessly, âYou're really good at valo thank-â But before I can finish thanking him that familiar scent of sandalwood mixed with lavender and smoke creeps up behind me caging me into my desk and ending my call with Theo.
A hand on my jaw pulls my gaze away from my screen into addictive brown eyes, neither of us make a sound, we just stare at each other too afraid to mess up the atmosphere.
I break the silence first, âWhat the fuck was that for assholeâ I say only slightly louder than a whisper, still to afraid to ruin the moment.
âYou know what that was for pretty, what are you doing calling some rando at fucking 12 at night bitch?â He asks but I donât need to reply, we both know the answer to that.
He continues, âDumb little girl is so needy sheâll whore herself out to anyone whoâll pick up the phone? You know Iâm always there but you canât handle not being the center attention for like 5 minutesâ
And thatâs what pisses me off, I stand up looking at him level in the eye, âYou donât get to fucking say that Vin! You havenât talked to me in a week cause your to busy slutting yourself out to MY best friend and-âÂ
He cuts me off, âCan I kiss you?â
âOh my fucking god Vin your so annoying, you never listen to me itâs like talking to a wall!â
âThat doesnât answer my question, can I kiss you?â
I hate the things he does to me, I hate how he makes my entire body heat up when Iâm mad at him, I hate how he tries to get me going at the worst time, I hate how he tries to fix our arguments and our mistakes by getting me horny, and I really fucking hate how it works.
I nod and he places his hand on my hips and guides me into a kiss whilst I wrap my arms around his neck and lean into the kiss, his hands roam around my body slipping under my shirt to pull it off. We let go of the kiss to take our shirts and pants off and we both ended up back on my bed with him against the headboard and me straddling him, grinding on his clothed cock.
âShit, I fucking hate you so much,â I plead whilst my hands curl into his hair and his lips trail blazing kisses along my neck down to my tits whilst he unclasps my bra and keeps the kisses going.
âYeah, yeah, say whatever you want baby, you know your mineâ He says in between kissesÂ
And the fucked up part is that heâs right.
I could flirt with as men as I want and he could talk to as many girls as he likes to try to forget me, but fuck we both end up in one of our bedâs at the end of the night, worshiping each others bodies or ruining each other till theres nothing left in either of us- Iâm his, and heâs mine⊠even if were to pussy to say it.
But right now Iâd rather die than admit to him that heâs right.
âReallyâ I question breathlessly, âI thought zoe was yours?â
âOh fuck off, if you wanna be a brat, Iâll fucking treat you like a brat.â He says as he manhandles me so my face is pushed into my pillows and my ass up in the air and smack my right cheek
The burn makes me hiss into the pillow whilst his hands snake down my back to pull my hair which in turn pulls my hair up so he can see my face.
âYour mineâ He instructs, âSay it, say your mine.â
He knows im his, we both know that Iâm his but fuck the man and his stupid insecurity crisis, Iâm not saying shit.
âFuck fine, weâll just do this the regular wayâ He says and accentuates with a slap on my left ass which makes me hiss and arch my back into him.
I donât know how long the spanking goes on for but I know it burns but I feel so fucking good right now, I can see stars and Vinnie and thatâs all I need right now.
Heâs finally done and flips me over, âCmon baby, just say it, I wanna fuck my girl and I know you wanna feel good pretty, itâs just 2 words.â
I know my face looks exhausted because Vinnie starts kissing every single soft spot on my neck, collarbones and jaw so I can relax and take a moment to relax. âDaddy-â I slur out, âCan I suck you off?â I say with such an innocent tone and doe eyes that I think it takes him a second to register.
He doesnât say anything but helps me situate myself on my knees in front of his still clothed dick.Â
He moves the hair of my face and helps me take his boxers off, his cock looks angry and red with precum already leaking off of it. I start kitten licking the tip of his dick, swirling all the salty precum over his angry tip. I can tell he's starting to get frustrated by the way heâs fidgeting above me.
âYour such a fucking tease baby,â He says petting through my hair, âSuch a dumb little bratâ
And my stupid ass giggles instead of saying anything, but it gets him going enough for him to tangle his hands into my hair and start using my mouth to get him off, my moans and hisses just add to his pleasure.Â
I hollow my cheeks out and swirl my tongue around his dick to give him some form of stimulation, and use my hands to jerk off the rest of his cock that I canât fit in my mouth.Â
Itâs so fucking dirty, the sounds of me gagging on my roommates dick with spit rolling out of the corners of my mouth, and the whole scene is finished of with Vinnies moans echoing around our house.Â
Heâs so fucking close to cumming and I can tell by the way his grip on my hair tightens and his moans turn whispier. But for some fucking reason he pulls me off and picks me up so Iâm straddling is lap again and were making out again.
He flips both of us over so Iâm laid out on my back and heâs hovering over me like Iâm the finest piece of art he's ever seen, âHey baby, you still with me?â
âYeah, yeah,â I pant, trying to catch my breath.
He takes his fingers and finally take my panties off and dips them into my folds, his thumb reaches my clit and he makes figure 8âs on them, the sudden simulations causes me to gasp and arch my back which leads to Vinnieâs hands finding refugee on my hips and pushing me down into the comforter as he continues to stimulate me.
His hand drags in and out of me as our lips interlock, we move in a steady rhythm and everything feels so right, for a second I forget about everything that we were fighting about and melt into his touch, I may be a petty bitch but god has this man done something to me.
The knot in my stomach builds and I know Vinnie can tell by the way my legs shake and how my lips quiver around his whilst my hands drag my nails through his back, causing him to hiss in pain and pleasure.
âVinnieâ I moan out, âPlease can I cumâ
Iâm begging at this point, Iâm so close to release and I wanna cum so bad that all my self respect leaves my body.
âI donât know baby, youâve been so rudeâ
âPlease, Vinnie pleaseâ I plead, âI need you so bad, please Iâm yoursâ
I give him what he wants in hope he gives me what I want and it works like a charm
âOh how am I gonna deny such a pretty girl?â He states but he removes his hands causing me to whine but instead takes his dick and lines up to my folds and slowly goes in, reveling in the way my eyes roll to the back of my head.
Heâs excruciatingly slow and then painfully fast slamming into my hips with the sound of our skin slapping adding to the ambiance. Our moans bounce off the walls, my breathless wines along with his low grunts create a melody of intimacy, itâs so different to how we started.Â
Weâre so fucking close to cumming that Vinnie tells me to, âcum with himâ, and thatâs exactly what we do. We both finally get our release after so long that we donât even move for a second, my forehead and his touches for what seems like an eternity until he finally pulls out and places a kiss on my cheek and heads to get water and towel to wipe me off.
After he does that, I get up and pick up my panties and put them on and then put on Vinnies shirt whilst he puts on his sweat and we both use the bathroom.
As I get into bed with him after changing he cups my face and places a kiss on my lips, âPlus Iâm sorry for everything, Iâm such a dick sometimesâ
Itâs sweet, after all we're not even exclusive and he's this sweet, I kinda forget everything heâs done⊠until I donât.
âItâs fine baby, you can make up with me in between my thighsâ, I say the last part so quietly that he doesnât register it for a second until he places one more kiss on my lips and slips under the covers.

€SOLDIER BOY RETURNS HOME AFTER OVER A YEAR IN SERVICE.
COLE SHOVES THE newspaper back into the display, albeit much more aggressively than was necessary. The paper is fiercely wrinkled in the corner from where he clutched it too tightly, more wrinkles dawning the grainy photo captured of Soldier Boy.Â
His mouth curves downwards in a deep frown. Ben was probably up in the Vought Tower already, Cole figures, getting pats on the back from higher-ups and more badges than one man needs.Â
He should maybe not be so cynical about his coworkerâs return. Should, perhaps, even be grateful when looking at it from the lens of a man who once served alongside Ben Anderson.Â
Cole Granger was never really one for looking at the positive sides of things, though, and Ben Anderson did nothing but stir up trouble in the mundane life that Cole managed to build for himself with his newfound trials.Â
Luckily, Coleâs life extends farther than just detesting the man heâs stuck with as a colleague. Much farther, because if all panned out according to its set schedule, Cole wouldnât even see him that day. Would just hear of him. Hear lots of him. Wherever Soldier Boy went, his ego went ten feet ahead first.Â
Cole shoves open the tall glass doors to the Vought-American tower, stepping into the main lobby. The receptionist, Beth, smiles at him in the way that most people do now; awe-filled, inspiredly uninspired.Â
âHere for Dr. Vought?â she asks, turning her eyes down to the notepad in front of her. Itâs a useless question. Cole is hardly here anymore when itâs not for that man.Â
Still, he smiles politely, props himself up with his hands wrapped around the tall edged countertop of her granite desk. âThe one-and-only.âÂ
Beth hums in response, flipping through her stacks of papers scattered freely across her desk. âWell, heâs got Stratostorm right now, as Iâm sure youâre awareââÂ
âFully,â Cole says, fingers tapping on the granite.Â
âBut they should be wrapping up now.â She crosses something off on the top sheet. Coleâs eyes flit down, see his name is the subject of the inkâs wrath. âI will go ahead and let him know youâve arrived, Reaper.âÂ
Below his name, he sees, before she gathers the stack of papers into her arms and rises from her seat, is Soldier Boy, 3:30 pm.Â
Isnât that just wonderful.
Cole steps back from the desk, his hand falling to the pocket at his side, blindly grabbing for a cigarette and lighter he kept on him. He hated smoking anymore, found it pretty much useless with how quickly he healed, but couldnât help it on the days like today where he felt the bitter annoyance festering inside of him.Â
He sticks the cigarette between his lips and lights it, inhales deeply, savors the split second relief that comes from the nicotine. He fingers idly at the lighter, flipping the metal case open and closed. Click. Click.Â
âFinally realized your life is a fucking joke, did you?â a voice speaks up from the glass doors, one that instinctively sends his eyes rolling. âStanding down here, pouting like some sort of piss baby.âÂ
âWelcome home, Ben,â Cole breathes, the smoke leaving a gray trail out of his lips. âReally was hoping youâd die this time.âÂ
Ben stands in the center of Vought-Americanâs lobby, hands tossing up in a shrug. His mask is tugged over his face but it does not hide the arrogant smirk pulled on his lips. âSorry to disappoint, Reaper.âÂ
Cole lets out a little hum of a noise. Apology accepted.Â
âYouâre not supposed to be here,â Cole says eventually, taking another drag of the cigarette. âNot til 3:30.âÂ
âCounting the minutes until you can see me?â Ben asks, and itâs enough â really, it is â for Cole to want to blow his head off. If only. If only, if only, if only.Â
The shadows in the darkened part of the room, untouched by the sunlight and the fluorescents above, perk up at this thought. Of course they do.Â
Cole doesnât say anything, though, and as usual, Ben takes it as a sign to fill the silence with his own voice.Â
âVought pushed my appointment up,â he says, like itâs the most obvious thing in the world. As if Cole was supposed to know that that, along with every other dynamic in his life, was shifting also, at the arrival back of Soldier Boy. âTo make sure allâs still well after, you know, ending a war.âÂ
âRight,â Cole says dismissively, lifting a booted foot to smash the cherry of the cigarette out on it. âWouldnât want Americaâs sweetheart out of commission from fucking and dumping, now, would we?âÂ
Benâs smile becomes more venomous. He takes a step closer to Cole, probably with the intent to throw him into a wall, to instigate their first physical fight since being home. But he is interrupted by the door to the stairway tossing open, and Beth stumbling back into the lobby.
She glances between the both of them, eyebrows furrowed in surprise and, well, horror.Â
âOh!â She manages to get out, voice a bit strangled. Her eyes dart between the both of them like sheâs already prepared to ring for the insurance company for the damages. âReaper, heâs ready for you.â
Benâs charm clicks back into place, and itâs all Cole can do to not roll his eyes out of his head at the way he swivels in place, the way his smile dimples into a flirtatious smirk.
âIâll be going with him, actually, sweetheart,â he adds, walking up to Bethâs desk. Crowding over her. Giving her no other option than to hear the request and accept it, really. âChange of plans, you know how things getâŠâÂ
Cole doesnât stop to wait for Ben, though. Heâs already to the stairs, already disappearing into the doorway. Heâs a bit of a masochist, heâs heard, but not enough to subject himself to Benâs flirting, and definitely not enough to want to walk alongside him.Â
Because, truthfully? Fuck Soldier Boy. Put that one in a pipe and smoke it.

It Will Come Back
Simon "Ghost" Riley x fem!reader
summary > hand to hand combat with an overly touchy simon
word count > 1.3k
cw > suggestive, but not explicit. romanticizing of yandere tendencies
a/n >Â Open ended one-shot, may come back to it if inspiration strikes

Thereâs something off about him. Simon Riley. Or Ghost as heâs known to his teammates - including you. Not off on the field or in training. Not off in the way that he shoots or reloads or checks over his weapons before the mission. Not off in his work ethic or the way he kills. Off in the way that heâs oh-so-domestic towards you. Indirectly, of course. In a way that you canât prove when you tell someone that his behaviour irks you. What could you tell them? That you swear you can see him lurking in the shadows, stalking you, or that your personal things always seem to disappear? Youâd seem aloof and distracted if not downright insane.Â
And forget mentioning how kind he seems to you. Offering to lace up your boots or god-forbid, help you train. The small touches across your back or hands still make you shiver. Thereâs also the small gifts that appear on your bed, the very same one in the locked room, mind you. Youâve changed the locks at least a dozen times before Price told you to stop wasting time and resources. It made you want to scream before you began to question if the captain was in on it. You had brought up concerns before and they were conveniently brushed off.Â
Of course, that was a completely absurd thought given the fact that you never named the perpetrator that was making you uncomfortable on your very own base. Even still, you wouldâve thought that Price would have done more than simply question you. Every time youâve brought it up he says that heâs âhandling itâ so you stopped asking after a while. It elicits a sense of unease at the fact that you seemed to be on your own regarding this issue.Â
The way he looked at you scared you almost as much as facing down the barrel of a loaded gun - something that youâve done more times than youâd like to admit. Itâs not as if you had a grudge against the man - far from it. You used to admire him as a Lieutenant and wanted to be close to him, worked to become close to him. Thatâs how you ended up on the 141 task force. A part of you still does, admire him that is. Youâre unsure of exactly when this Stockholm-esque syndrome began, but thereâs something in you that wants Simon in the same carnal way he wants you. The same way a rabbit begins to accept its fate belongs in the claws of the wolf. Thinking back on it all, you were beginning to regret your moxy.Â
âDid you forget we had training today, love?â
This is exactly the shit you were talking about. Not that anyone believes you, nor did you have the confidence to tell them. Not after the last incident. You had met your wits end and basically begged Laswell to transfer you. Obviously, some grounds for your repositioning was required - which was where it went wrong. You had no solid evidence, a very good track record on the team, and Simon had knocked on the door as soon as you were about to explain yourself. If you had thought he wouldnât have been able to weasel his way out of you screaming fraternisation at Laswell you would have shouted it all around base. Thatâs the lowest point your pride had ever been at. Turning tail and running wasnât your proudest moment, but there was a certain threshold before fight turns into flight.Â
âPrincess?â
God, you hated that name. You couldnât even hold it against him as it was your unfortunate callsign. You had never despised it this much before coming to this godforsaken place. You huff and shove yourself up from the couch - grumbling about missing the Uno game going on between Soap and Gaz.
âOne more word out of your mouth besides âyes sirâ and itâs ten laps,â Simon glares at you.
Youâre convinced he only makes you do laps because it allows him to stand and watch. Not like you can prove it, and sometimes he does run with you, but it feels almost impossible for that not to be the case. A little rabbit and the big wolf.Â
âYes sir,â You sigh.
âAtta girl.â His words send a shiver down your spine.
Itâs always hand to hand combat with him. Always. You suppose itâs better than him micromanaging your shooting stance. A shiver passes through your body at the thought of him gripping your body and manipulating you however he pleases. Becoming pliable for him to mould into the perfect soldier. No, the perfect pet. At least this way you have a chance to fight back. A small voice in the back of your mind reminds you that Ghost probably likes the struggle. The power imbalance. Another one insists that you like it just as much if not more. You choose to ignore that last one.Â
âConsidering your performance on the last mission, I find it imperative that we work on your skills regarding escape,â Simon says sourly.
This was complete bullshit and you knew it. Biting your tongue like youâve always done is becoming harder by the day. Heâs referring to how you - under his orders - infiltrated a side hallway and got apprehended by two guards. Two guards that you had not been made aware of - you should have been considering Ghost himself had travelled that hallway not long ago. Of course, Simon rushed in to save you, ever the shining knight in armour.Â
âYour only goal is to overpower me, by any means necessary,â Simon speaks, and you can almost hear the mirth through the baclava. It makes your hackles raise in fear of what this entails.Â
Despite your on guard position, you somehow end up with your back on the floor. Your hands are roughly pinned above your head - an almost delightful strain running down your spine causing you to shiver under his grasp. His thighs entrap yours with his hips harshly pressed into yours. A shaky breath of air escapes your lungs at the suddenness of it all - nevermind how close your Lieutenants face is to yours. This wasnât exactly how you expected to end up on your back for him, but youâd take what you can get.Â
A moment of hesitation costs you your comfort as one of Simonâs gloved hands moves down from your wrists to your neck - gripping it tight enough to restrict some blood flow, but not air. It makes a soft whimper escape from you, your body keen to betray you.Â
âSeems like someoneâs enjoying this a little too much,â Simon chuckles, his eyes dark.Â
âFuck you,â You seeth, an escaped hand digging itâs claws into his collarbone.Â
âSorry, Princess. Thatâs off the table,â Simon grunts, almost amused.
You quickly turn on him, shoving him off of you and pressing a knee into his abdomen with the other one entrapping him in a similar fashion that he had done to you. Your hands keep his shoulders pinned to the ground, not taking any chances.Â
âYou know damn well thatâs not what I was-â Youâre cut off by Simon lifting one of his thighs to meet you, making your brain short circuit.Â
âWhat was that?â You could hear the smugness in his words.Â
âIâd say I won that, so thereâs no need for this to continue,â You spit out, quickly retracting yourself from him.Â
âIf you say so,â Simon says, giving up weirdly easily.Â
âThatâs it?â
âThatâs it,â Simon starts, standing up to tower over you. âUnless you had something else on your mind?â
âOne thing.â
âAnything,â Simon whispers, and youâre unsure whether his tone elicits more excitement than fear.
âAdmit to Price and yourself that youâre being a creep,â You hiss.
âWhatever do you mean, love,â Simon mocks.
âIt was worth a try,â You huff, turning your back on him and walking off.

Tag Game: Make your OCs with this picrew!
Thank you for the tags, @charmedcleric and @reading-non-stop! I love these and loved reading about your OCs đ„°
I have to admit I have not done a DAO or DA2 playthrough yet⊠but I am working on 3 simultaneous playthroughs of DAI with 3 different inquisitors, if that counts! These will be the ones I bring to my future Veilguard playthroughs.
GhilanâVhenaste Lavellan - if I did Elvhen right, his name means âguiding our peopleâs favor,â which I thought was fitting for what I have planned for him. But you can just call him Ghil! He was heavily inspired by Ameridan, the quote: "history doesn't repeat, but it does rhyme," and my need to romance Cassandra. He's a history nerd, and lucked out on being his clan's First.
As the story progresses, he's realizing that both the Dalish and the Chantry got some things very wrong, both about the world and each other. He believes that if he can find the real truth, he can use it to foster peace and understanding between humans, elves, and other races. He's very open-minded, and honestly comes around to believing he really could be the Herald of Andraste, and maybe the Maker as the Chantry knows it does exist. Perhaps the truth of world is found between both sides. He just wants to find answers, and to help, in that order.
Personality-wise he is open-minded and laid-back, but can't resist an awful joke or pun just to make Cass grumble. He's becoming a Knight Enchanter as it perfectly ties together his Dalish roots with his burgeoning Andrastrian faith.
Ede'Emal Lavellan - My fiery, angry girl. And again, if I did Elvhen correctly, stands for "Emerald Child." She is also a Knight Enchanter mage, but I'm doing it a little differently on this one. Originally she was created to be my Solasmancer, which was inspired by how the Emerald Knights had wolf companions. And there is no specialization close to Emerald Knight, but Knight Enchanter does have roots with Arcane Warrior, so that's where I went. She also has the Blade of Tidarion, because magic sword and it sounds Emerald Knight-y to me.
Unlike Ghil, Ede is very proudly Dalish and honestly has a chip on her shoulder about it. She took being her clan's First very seriously, and holds dearly her Dalish identity. She is always expecting the shem to treat her poorly, and is often surprised when that doesn't happen. She's kind and compassionate, but she's not nice about it. She's slow to trust humans and quick to put down the Chantry at any opportunity. She really, really did not want to be Inquisitor and hates even more being the new symbol of Andrastrian faith.
She is romancing Solas, but it's going to be a very, very slow burn. She did not take kindly to his view on the Dalish, nor did he take kindly to her stubbornness with her "incorrect" beliefs. Despite their disagreements, and her cracking his egghead after a very heated argument, she's learning to cool her temper and play nice and open her heart (and mind) to learning something new.
Cirice Trevelyan - yes, her name was inspired by The Ghost song. She is my Devout Andrastian warrior, who is just trying her best to serve the Chantry. She believes she was chosen to be Andraste's Herald, and wants to serve the purpose she was called to do. But, she isn't quite sure how to rectify it when the Chantry is in direct conflict with the Inquisition.
Honestly she is still in development, so I don't have as much to say about her. She is a very serious, contemplative personality who just wants to do what she thinks is right, by the Chantry's standards. She hopes that she was chosen to help spread the Chant and bring the Maker back to his creations. Unfortunately, this will lead her to make some very hard, and sometimes very harsh, decisions. She is doing her best, but my poor girl was made to suffer for it.

Can I please request this for the Bioshock characters (the same ones you wrote for the crush prompt if that's okay)?
Their s/o (reader) wants to spend a day or night out at Fort Frolic. What are they gonna end up doing?
Bioshock 1 Characters Spending A Day In Fort Frolic With Their S/O
⌠Word Count » 0.8k ⌠Warnings » none ⌠Genre » Romantic ⌠A/N » Bioshock requests, my beloved <3
Jack isn't the biggest fan of Fort Frolic, but if you wanted to visit, he'd be happy to take you. He's a tad antsy while there as heâs not exactly sure how to feel about the Splicers and the fact that Sander's still hiding out somewhere around the corner. He doesn't have anywhere specific in mind so heâll just follow you, one hand stuffed in his jean pocket and the other resting on his pistol. The whole place floods him with uneasiness, especially since his mother's corpse is still hanging around in the back of Eve's Garden. He'd prefer if neither of you had ever gone at all, but he'll push all of his awkwardness aside to see you be excited.
Atlas is a big billiards player, so Sir-Prize is where he'd take you. The two of you could play a casual game of pool, or hit a few of the slot machines, either option works for him. He likes that the place is a lot more down low than others. It's way quieter and tends to house people more similar to him. Besides, Atlas doesn't understand the whole "artist" thing. He'd rather do something than just stare at it.
Andrew Ryan is known for taking people out to Fort Frolic, he loves being able to show off his wealth in such a way. His influence there is subtle but undeniable, and that fact is clearest when he's guiding you down the halls, your hand holding onto his arm as people part to let you both through. He holds you in high regard and would prefer to take you to the classier parts of the area rather than the ones flooded with commoners. He'll escort you straight to the Fleet Hall, a place he personally sponsors, to watch whatever show is playing at the moment. A glass of wine and a box seat somewhere at the top of the theatre, and the two of you will be making the most out of your stay there.
Tenenbaum usually prefers to stay in, but an evening spent at Rapture Records isn't the worst thing in the world. She's never been very attracted to the flashier aspects of the Fort, but the quiet little music shop suits her just fine. She wouldn't mind spending an hour or so in the place, browsing through the options before picking something out and putting it on while you cook dinner together later that night. After Rapture's fall, she'll be even more hesitant to visit the place. She's never been particularly fond of Sander and, unless little sisters are still roaming around, then she has no business visiting.
Steinman adores visiting Eve's Garden. Not even for the strippers, he just likes the romantic aesthetic it has. He's not one to gawk at others while he's out with his partner, but he does like sitting at the bar with you, a bottle of Arcadia Merlot in his hand as you both admire the beauty around you; in the dancers, the atmosphere, each other - He doesn't care, he just loves being out in Rapture with you.
Sander, being the biggest influence, makes sure every little detail is looking perfect for when you come. He'd want nothing less for his muse, a perfect night in the place he holds most dear to himself. Nothing will go wrong and, if it does, he'll deal with it accordingly. His favorite thing to do with you there, he thinks, would be to have you model as he derives inspiration from your poses and expressions. Just be pretty for him and he's certain you'll both have a wonderful night together.
Fontaine hates Fort Frolic. He'll take you anywhere but there. It's much too rowdy and obnoxious for either of you to bother spending time there. Why don't you just come on up to his home and spend a night there? Doesn't that sound so much better? Wouldn't that be so much more enjoyable?
One of the only places Julie likes to spend her time in Fort Frolic is the Gardner Delux Modern. She's not the biggest gambler, drinker, or artist, but she loves going clothes shopping, and this happens to be her favorite spot. She wouldn't even mind paying for the both of you if you decided to take her up there for the evening. She'd be far too ecstatic to browse the aisles to care about cost.
Diane hates going to Fort Frolic. Everything there just reminds her of Ryan and everything he'd ever done to hurt her. She'd much rather go somewhere for the Rapture's lower class. She, ironically, feels much safer in lower-income areas than she does in the wealthier parts of the city.
