I would love to see more representation of minorities in media, but not in the form of ‚Hey, see this Old White (European) Story that we‘ve already (successfully) made a version of? Here, we re-made it, in life-action form, with a new, up-to-date paint job: this White Main Character is now a POC! Basically nothing else is done better/ more pc! Hive Us Your Money!‘

Ik that they have produced stories based on non-European folklore/books/ tales (and are an all around shitty megalomaniac company) but I, as a white European person, would really enjoy it if more non-European stories (real or not) were told in mainstream media. There are so many cool fairy tales & historic figures that I have heard of (& so many I haven‘t) that there is literally no reason (other than soulless cash grabbing) to do another adaption.
