#silvs talks#i'm too scared to write this out in the main part of the post but#does anyone else get a bit uncomfortable whenever people portray maria in a certain way?#idk how to explain it but i think there's clear difference between artwork that showcases the perceptions of maria#(from shadow's or gerald's pov)#vs artwork that treats her death as holy or her character as malicious#idk i'm just sitting here and thinking 'that was a 12 year old kid...' ykwim??#like. don't get me wrong! i think it's fun to explore how shadow would percieve maria from gerald's corruption#but it has to be clear that it's a warped perception instead of who she actually is#i get that the whole thing is that we won't truly know because she was murdered. but we do know she was a sweet kid#and i think she deserves that humanity and peace#to delete maybe
