Dodie And Miss Heed aka Cecelia Amanda Kelly Are The Same Type Of Person

Although these two come from two totally different genres of shows, I really think Miss Heed and Dodie are the same type of person: insecure girls who are willing to throw their friends overboard to be popular. In the case of Miss Heed, she got farther than Dodie by becoming a superhero and very popular (even without the formula at first). Dodie for a while was having popularity as new announcer at her middle school until she doxed people who had lice and Ginger put a stop to it. I have an inkling that Miss Heed was like Dodie in high school and even before she abandoned Flug she did small stuff that was always striving to be popular and noticed. In fact, both series had an episode about learning to love yourself or you will always rely on others opinions to validate you. Although that episode focused more on her mother, it really does come into play that both are bad friend’s whose shitty treatment of the main characters comes from their ambition to be popular.

On the one hand Dijonay straight up SUCKED, on the other hand at least she was openly sucky during the whole run of the Proud Family, where as Dodie Bishop from “As Told by Ginger” was a generally supportive character for two seasons....and then transformed into a manipulative witch in season 3. 

Dijonay is a very realistic fake friend that you have in middle school, Dodie however changed almost COMPLETELY in season 3 and it just didn’t feel right. Especially the episode where she faked an injury for the sympathy RIGHT after Ginger’s god damn appendix burst and she wasn’t getting any sympathy from her apparently cruel high school.

We know that Ginger's and Courtney's daughter is named Sophia, but Baby Bishop-Zipper remains unnamed. A lot of viewers were horrified at the idea of Dodie having her own mini-me since everyone knows Dodie is the pits, and this kid is only three freckles away from being a clone. I would have at least given the poor kid Chet's dark hair, plus the freckles. Otherwise she's just...Dodie with freckles.

As for her name, you just know Dodie went with something overly theatrical and stupid:

Dodie: Presenting my daughter, Jezebella Desire Bishop-Zipper!

Macie: I wonder how she'll fit that on a standardized test form.

Ginger: Uh Dodie, do you know what a Jezebel is?

Dodie: It's Jezebella, Ginger! I named her after my favorite soap opera character!

Macie: She'll definitely be popular with all the boys.
