i can see ppl genuinely confused abt the weki meki situation but the gist of it is: it’s been brewing for a while.

fantagio has a history of being unable to manage girl groups and the same exact thing happened w hellovenus. weki meki have been off for two years travelling or studying, except for dodaeng who have had regular acting/modelling schedules, and some have had a couple of theatre appearances but nothing else.

their contracts with fantagio expire in august and they have a ‘comeback’ in four (4) days that the company and the staff haven’t announced or said anything about (and that people only know about through a 1thek twitter post).

yoojung apologised repeatedly and looked down when asked if they’re gonna promote the song while she was on her way to a separate schedule, so it’s clear they won’t. elly also said that they’re moving out of the dorms in july.

it’s pretty likely most of them won’t resign with the company.
