also clarification for those without the knowledge: DNPs are clinical doctors. A DNP is a clinical doctorate meaning they practice the field of nursing at the doctorate level which includes diagnosing and treating patients, ordering and interpreting imaging and values, and creating a plan of care. They are considered primary and independent providers equal to an MD (and side note: many DNPs have more hard schooling years than MDs, although MDs have longer residencies).
Clinical doctors such as MD, DO, and DNP are 100% referred to as "Doctor" in the clinical setting. Because they are doctors.

Non Opioid Pain Treatment: Alternative Pain Management Solutions Beyond Opioids
Tumblr media
As concerns rise regarding the ongoing opioid epidemic, researchers, doctors and patients are increasingly seeking out non opioid pain treatment options for managing chronic pain. A variety of alternative therapies exist that can provide relief without the risks of addiction associated with prescription opioids. Physiotherapy and Non Opioid Pain Treatment Physiotherapy focuses on movement and manual therapy techniques like massage and spinal manipulation to relieve pain and improve mobility. For conditions like back pain, physiotherapy has been shown to be as effective as medication for providing short-term relief and preventing future episodes. Exercise programs, when developed with a physical therapist, can also help strengthen muscles and improve flexibility. Both aerobic and strength training have benefits for arthritis, fibromyalgia and other pain sources. When practiced regularly, exercise serves as a natural pain reliever and stress reducer. Psychological Therapies Our mental state significantly impacts how our brain perceives and responds to global non opioid pain treatment. Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) teaches patients pain coping strategies along with relaxation and mindfulness practices. Studies find CBT as useful as medication for reducing chronic pain. Hypnosis and biofeedback are also psychological methods showing promise. By gaining more control over stress levels and negative thoughts, these therapies can enhance self-management of ongoing pain. Acupuncture This ancient Chinese practice uses thin needles inserted into specific points on the body. While not fully understood, it's thought acupuncture stimulates the release of natural pain-relieving endorphins and serotonin. Multiple clinical trials demonstrate acupuncture provides relief equal to or better than drugs for certain types of pain like back and neck pain, headaches, osteoarthritis and dental pain. It tends to have minimal side effects and works well as an adjunct or alternative to medications. Supplements and Non Opioid Pain Treatment Diet and lifestyle choices affect pain levels, and supplements may offer targeted support. Omega-3 fatty acids from fish oil help reduce inflammation and joint stiffness from arthritis. Glucosamine and chondroitin promote cartilage repair for joint pain. Topical creams with menthol, capsaicin or camphor work as gentle counterirritants. Herbs like turmeric, devil's claw and willow bark are also being studied extensively for their anti-inflammatory properties. A healthy, balanced diet is fundamental for naturally managing chronic pain. Low-Level Laser Therapy This treatment involves exposure to specific wavelengths of light which stimulate healing processes in cells and tissue. Researchers continue to uncover its benefits for various pain conditions. One review found it as effective as NSAIDs or exercise for knee osteoarthritis pain. Another found it may relieve neck pain from injuries or arthritis. Others report positive results for plantar fasciitis, dental pain and more. Laser therapy is thought to regulate inflammation and encourage tissue regeneration with little to no side effects. Support Groups and Alternative Medicine Connecting with others in similar situations can help manage the mental and social aspects of ongoing pain. Support group meetings provide education on treatment options as well as empathy from peers. Alternative medicine specialists like chiropractors, massage therapists, acupuncturists and naturopathic doctors can also assist with care plans combining manual manipulation, energy work, supplements and lifestyle changes tailored for each individual. An integrated approach using a combination of treatment modalities usually provides the most complete relief. Get More Insights On, Global Non Opioid Pain Treatment

Understanding Medical Weight Loss: A Comprehensive Guide
Medical weight loss is an approach to weight management that involves the guidance and supervision of healthcare professionals. Unlike commercial weight loss programs or fad diets, medical weight loss programs are based on scientific principles and tailored to an individual’s specific health needs. This personalized approach often leads to more effective and sustainable weight loss outcomes.
What is Medical Weight Loss?
Medical weight loss encompasses a variety of strategies aimed at helping individuals lose weight and improve their overall health. These programs are typically overseen by a team of healthcare professionals, including doctors, dietitians, and sometimes psychologists. The goal is to create a comprehensive and personalized plan that addresses the root causes of weight gain and promotes long-term health.
Components of a Medical Weight Loss Program
Initial Assessment: The journey begins with a thorough assessment of the individual’s health status. This may include a physical examination, blood tests, and a review of the patient’s medical history. Understanding factors such as metabolic rate, hormone levels, and existing health conditions is crucial in designing an effective weight loss plan.
Customized Diet Plans: Nutrition is a cornerstone of medical weight loss. Dietitians work with patients to develop eating plans that are both nutritious and satisfying. These plans are tailored to individual preferences, dietary restrictions, and health needs. The focus is often on balanced diets that promote gradual and sustainable weight loss.
Exercise Guidance: Physical activity is another critical component. Exercise plans are customized based on the patient’s fitness level, health status, and personal preferences. The aim is to incorporate a mix of cardiovascular, strength training, and flexibility exercises that are safe and effective.
Behavioral Therapy: Addressing the psychological aspects of weight loss is essential for long-term success. Behavioral therapy helps patients identify and change unhealthy eating habits and develop a healthier relationship with food. This may involve individual counseling or group support sessions.
Medications and Supplements: In some cases, medications or supplements may be prescribed to aid weight loss. These are typically used to suppress appetite, boost metabolism, or address specific medical conditions that contribute to weight gain. All medications are closely monitored by healthcare professionals to ensure safety and effectiveness.
Regular Monitoring and Support: Ongoing support and monitoring are vital components of medical weight loss programs. Regular check-ins with healthcare providers help track progress, make necessary adjustments to the plan, and provide encouragement and accountability. This support system is crucial in maintaining motivation and addressing any challenges that arise during the weight loss journey.
Benefits of Medical Weight Loss
Personalized Approach: Each program is tailored to the individual’s unique health needs, ensuring more effective and sustainable results.
Professional Supervision: Continuous oversight by healthcare professionals ensures that the weight loss process is safe and that any potential health issues are promptly addressed.
Comprehensive Care: Medical weight loss programs address not just diet and exercise, but also behavioral and psychological factors, providing a holistic approach to weight management.
Long-term Success: The emphasis on sustainable lifestyle changes rather than quick fixes increases the likelihood of maintaining weight loss over the long term.
Is Medical Weight Loss Right for You?
Medical weight loss is suitable for individuals who have struggled with traditional weight loss methods or have underlying health conditions that make weight loss more challenging. It is also an excellent option for those seeking a structured and scientifically-backed approach to weight management. Before starting any weight loss program, it is important to consult with a healthcare provider to determine the most appropriate and safe plan for your specific needs.
Conclusion
Medical weight loss offers a scientifically-backed, personalized, and comprehensive approach to shedding excess pounds and improving overall health. By addressing the root causes of weight gain and providing continuous support, medical weight loss programs can lead to more effective and sustainable outcomes. Whether you are looking to lose a significant amount of weight or simply improve your health, consulting with healthcare professionals can provide the guidance and support you need for a successful weight loss journey.

Is Physiotherapy Covered by Medicare?
Tumblr media
Medicare Part B covers physiotherapy after you meet the annual deductible ($203 in 2022). After that, it pays 80% of the approved amount.
Many Medicare Advantage plans offer additional benefits to Original Medicare, but they must provide at least the same coverage as Parts A and B. Your individual plan details will vary. To know more about is physiotherapy covered by Medicare, visit the MVP Rehab Physiotherapy website or call 0450603234.
Medicare is a federal health insurance program for seniors and those with certain disabilities that pays for some or most of their healthcare costs. It is funded primarily through payroll taxes, general revenues, and a monthly premium.
Medicare Part B covers medically necessary services certified by an approved doctor or physical therapist that are administered in outpatient settings to alleviate, treat, or prevent conditions. It may also cover care at home or at skilled nursing facilities.
Medicare Advantage plans (Medicare Part C) are private health insurance plans that offer coverage for the same benefits as Original Medicare, Parts A and B. However, they may manage cost-sharing differently and you should always check your plan documents to find out more. In some cases, Medicare Advantage plans can offer additional coverage for therapy services that are not covered under Parts A or B. For example, some Medicare Advantage plans will cover a portion of home health care visits for physiotherapy.
The Medicare Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan is designed to help manage your condition by providing you with a team of health care providers who will coordinate and monitor your treatment. This includes a physiotherapist and a nurse practitioner. The monthly fee for this service is covered by most supplemental insurance plans.
In order for physiotherapy to be considered medically necessary under the CDM plan, your doctor must evaluate your current health, your ability to function and your potential for future decline. There are also stipulations that your physiotherapy treatment must be completed outside of hospital, you must be referred by your GP and the service should last at least 20 minutes. For more details about CDM, refer to Item 10960 of the Medicare Benefits Schedule.
Original Medicare (Parts A and B) covers physiotherapy, but you must pay the Part A deductible ($1,556 per benefit period in 2022) or coinsurance if you receive physical therapy in a hospital or skilled nursing facility. Medicare Advantage plans may also cover physiotherapy, but they must follow the guidelines set by Medicare.
Medicare covers physiotherapy for those who suffer from chronic musculoskeletal issues such as arthritis. This type of treatment falls under the Medicare Chronic Disease Management (CDM) scheme and is covered by Original Medicare Part B or a Medicare Advantage plan. There are some stipulations, however, including being referred to the physio by your doctor, the service being provided outside of hospital and being medically necessary. Refer to Item 10960 in the Medicare Benefits Schedule for more details.
Physicians who treat patients with multiple complex chronic conditions may be eligible for additional reimbursement under a new CMS proposal. The proposal would introduce CCC management codes to the physician fee schedule, building on existing transitional care management codes. The code set would apply to patients with multiple complex chronic conditions that place them at significant risk of death, serious acute exacerbation or decompensation, or functional decline and require ongoing management by multiple health care practitioners. This would include a physiotherapist, dietitian and podiatrist.
Physiotherapy, or PT, is a type of physical therapy that uses massage, heat treatments and exercises to help relieve pain, treat injuries, diseases and other health conditions. Medicare covers PT under its Chronic and Complex Multimorbidity Management (CDM) guidelines, which can be found in item 10960 of the Medicare Benefits Schedule.
Original Medicare, including Parts A and B, covers a limited number of PT sessions per year if they’re medically necessary. PT can be done in an inpatient setting like a hospital or skilled nursing facility or outpatient, such as at your doctor’s office or a home health agency. To know more about is physiotherapy covered by Medicare, visit the MVP Rehab Physiotherapy website or call 0450603234.
Medicare no longer sets a limit on how much it will pay for outpatient PT per year but it may review your needs when you hit a certain amount of sessions or your provider recommends services that aren’t covered. You also must follow a specific set of rules about how your provider bills for therapy to avoid a misunderstanding between you and your insurance company.

How to being Healthy
We asked three specialists — a naturopathic doctor, a dietitian, and a fitness coach — to reveal to us the best five basic however huge way of life medication transforms they suggest.
Other than giving you three distinct takes on the best way to pick your wellbeing fights, this rundown gives you decisions you can make without being sped off to an unscripted TV drama fat homestead — or purchasing a second cooler for those calorie-controlled, pre-divided frozen dinners.
JAMES ROUSE, N.D.
NATUROPATHIC PHYSICIAN, TRIATHLETE, CHEF, AUTHOR AND HOST OF TV'S "Ideal WELLNESS," HEALTH-TIP SEGMENTS FEATURED ON NBC AFFILIATES IN SEVERAL MAJOR CITIES.
1. THINK POSITIVE AND FOCUS ON GRATITUDE
Exploration shows a solid inspirational mentality helps fabricate a better resistant framework and lifts in general wellbeing. Your body accepts your opinion, so center around the positive.
2. EAT YOUR VEGETABLES
Go for five servings of vegetables daily — crude, steamed, or pan-seared. An eating regimen high in vegetables is related with a decreased danger of creating malignant growths of the lung, colon, bosom, cervix, throat, stomach, bladder, pancreas, and ovaries. Also, a considerable lot of the most impressive phytonutrients are the ones with the boldest tones — like broccoli, cabbage, carrots, tomatoes, grapes, and verdant greens.
3. SET A "5-MEAL IDEAL"
What, when, and the amount you eat can keep both your digestion and your energy levels consistently raised, so you'll have all the more the entire day energy. A "5 supper ideal" will assist you with dealing with your weight, keep your cool, keep up your center, and dodge yearnings.
4. EXERCISE DAILY
Did you realize that every day exercise can decrease the entirety of the biomarkers of maturing? This incorporates improving vision, normalizing circulatory strain, improving slender muscle, bringing down cholesterol, and improving bone thickness. On the off chance that you need to live well and live more, you should work out! Studies show that even ten minutes of activity has an effect — something do as well! Wrench the sound system and dance in your parlor. Pursue swing moving or formal dancing exercises. Stroll to the recreation center with your children or a neighbor you'd prefer to find. Hop rope or play hopscotch. Turn a hula loop. Play water volleyball. Bicycle to work. Hop on a trampoline. Go for a climb.
5. GET A GOOD NIGHT'S SLEEP
On the off chance that you experience difficulty resting, attempt unwinding procedures like contemplation and yoga. Or then again eat a little sleep time nibble of nourishments appeared to help move the body and brain into rest mode: entire grain oat with milk, oats, cherries, or chamomile tea. Obscure your room more and dismiss your clock from you. Record stresses or distressing contemplations to get them off of your mind and onto the page. This will help you put them into point of view so you can stop agonizing over them.
CHRISTINA REITER, M.S., R.D.
Inhabitant CONSULTING DIETITIAN AT THE UNIVERSITY OF COLORADO–BOULDER WARDENBURG HEALTH CENTER FOR NUTRITION EDUCATION AND THERAPIES AND FORMER DIRECTOR OF THE NUTRITION PROGRAM AT METROPOLITAN STATE COLLEGE OF DENVER.
1. CHECK YOUR FOOD 'TUDE
What we eat and how we feel are connected in complex manners. A solid way to deal with eating is fixated on relishing flavor, eating to fulfillment, and expanding energy, as opposed to zeroing in on weight. Check your equilibrium of low-calorie nourishments, supplement thick food sources (giving numerous supplements per calorie), and food sources that are calorie thick however supplement poor. Most Americans need to eat all the more new entire food sources (as opposed to handled, profoundly refined food sources). Attempt to add all the more entire grains, new products of the soil, and vegetables into your suppers. Pair these carb rich food sources with a sound fat or lean protein to expand fulfillment.
2. EAT LIKE A KID
In the event that adding more products of the soil sounds inauspicious, hope to "finger food" forms that preschool kids love — carrot and celery sticks, cherry tomatoes, broccoli florets, grapes, berries, and dried organic products. All are healthful forces to be reckoned with loaded with cell reinforcements.
3. BE A PICKY EATER
Breaking point immersed fats and trans fats, and mean to eat more nourishments wealthy in calming omega-3 unsaturated fats to cut your danger of cardiovascular sickness and possibly improve discouraged mind-sets. What might be compared to only one gram of EPA/DHA (eicosapentaenoic corrosive/docosahexaenoic corrosive) day by day is suggested. Eating cold-water slick fish (wild salmon, herring, sardines, trout) a few times each week will give both EPA and DHA. Amounting to two tablespoons of ground flaxseed and eating meat, milk, and cheddar from grass-took care of creatures will furnish you with a sound portion of omega-3s.
4. USE FOODS OVER SUPPLEMENTS
Enhancements are not a substitute for a decent eating routine. Albeit numerous wellbeing specialists suggest taking a multivitamin and mineral enhancement that gives 100 to 200 percent of your suggested day by day esteem, every single enhancement ought to be painstakingly assessed for immaculateness and security. Explicit enhancements have been related with harmfulness, responses with meds, rivalry with different supplements, and even expanded danger of illnesses like malignant growth, coronary illness, and diabetes.
5. GET SATISFACTION
Both eating and active work are fun, tactile encounters! In both, focus on delight — not agony. Focus on the dietary benefit of the food sources you decide to eat, just as your feeling of fulfillment, unwinding, strain, elation, and exhaustion when you plunk down to eat. Check in with yourself as you eat, reviving your acknowledgment of craving, totality, and fulfillment while thinking about when and the amount to eat.
RICK OLDERMAN, M.S., P.T.
A PHYSICAL THERAPIST AND OWNER OF Z-LINE TRAINING IN DENVER, COLORADO, OFFERING REHABILITATION, PERSONAL TRAINING, PILATES INSTRUCTION, MOTIVATIONAL INJURY-PREVENTION SEMINARS, EMPLOYEE FITNESS PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT, AND CUSTOM FOOT ORTHOTICS CASTING.
1. Offer YOURSELF A Reprieve
"I spend innumerable hours doing cardio and never appear to lose that last ten pounds!" is a typical protest I hear from customers. Allow yourself to abbreviate your exercise. In all honesty, overtraining could be the issue. Your body can level if not given sufficient rest to reestablish itself, at last prompting a decrease in execution. Exhaustion, grouchiness, absence of energy, discouragement, and expanded cortisol (the "stress" chemical) are a few signs of overtraining disorder. Making a periodization program — separating your everyday practice into different preparing modes — can help forestall overtraining by building rest stages into your routine. For instance, you may weight train on Monday and Wednesday, cycle on Tuesday and Thursday, run on Friday and lay on Saturday and Sunday. You can likewise help balance your program by essentially joining more assortment.
2. THINK SMALL
Regularly the greatest impediment to improving wellbeing is feeling overpowered by all the accessible exhortation and examination. Attempt to zero in first on one little, apparently insignificant, unfortunate propensity and transform it into a sound, positive propensity. In case you're prone to eat when you return home around evening time, all things considered, continue to walk shoes in the carport or doorway and take a brisk turn around the square prior to heading inside. In the event that you have a jar of pop at noon consistently, have a glass of water two days per week all things being equal. Beginning with little, effortless changes sets up the mindset that positive development isn't really agonizing change. It's not difficult to work from here by adding more sound replacements.
3. Stay with GOOD
You can do quite a few things — yet in the event that you have individual associations with individuals who have undesirable propensities, it is regularly a daunting task. The best individuals are the individuals who have associations with other solid individuals. Get your family or companions associated with you when you walk or plan better suppers. Rolling out sound improvements with a friend or family member can unite you just as inspire you.
4. MAKE A LIST… AND CHECK IT TWICE
Require a couple of moments and record all the reasons you can't start an activity program. At that point take a gander at the premise of each reason. For example, on the off chance that you expressed, "No time" as one of your reasons, maybe that depends on a conviction that an activity program takes a great deal of time. Beginning with even five minutes daily will have a constructive outcome since you will have made a solid propensity where one didn't exist previously, and that is an amazing mental change. A more intensive glance at your rundown will uncover those deceptions taking cover behind each pardon.
5. Pursue AN EVENT
Let's be honest, practicing only for practicing or shedding pounds can get exhausting. Flavor things up by pursuing an occasion like a run/walk race or a cycling ride where you can be important for a group. Doing so gives your exercises another reason, and it's amusing to associate with other people who are practicing actually like you — also that most occasions advantage charitable associations, which pairs your vibe great high.

Curcumin as treatment for Rheumatoid Arthritis
These days Rheumatoid Arthritis consist of four plans of attack, NSAIDS, steroids, disease modifying antirheumatic drugs or DMARDS and biologic agents. Most of these drugs are very effective but they can have serious side effects, like liver damage, bone marrow suppression, lung infections, joint inflammation (I know ironic, but true), and blood clots. That doesn't cover bruising, constipation, diarrhea, fatigue, being susceptible to catching colds, flus and other unpleasant contagions.
The goal of all of these drugs is to reduce inflammation so that joint pain and joint destruction don't continue. Reducing pain levels is so that one can have quality of life and reducing the joint destruction is for keeping functionality of the joints as long as possible.
Rheumatologists do blood work to assess how much inflammation the body is fighting. These tests are called erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), C-reactive protein (CRP) and plasma viscosity (PV). (Tidy) Most autoimmune patients are familiar with these tests. While we use all three, the most important one is the CPR. A healthy person has "CRP levels...below 3.0 mg/L." (Carteron) CPR numbers over 10.0 mg/L signify "infection or inflammatory disease" (Carteron)
So, for RA patients, we want our numbers to be as low as we can get them. Sometimes treatments lower the numbers between 3.0 mg/L and 10.0 mg/L and sometimes we can get them below 3.0 mg/L. Being 3.0 mg/L means we are in remission. Remission being all signs and symptoms of RA are gone but RA is still recognized in a blood test.
The current methods of treatment are fantastic considering some of the older methods of treatment which included aspirin therapy which is still used but generally not first choice due to stomach and digestive issues like causing ulcers. Gold treatments were used through capsules and injections but there could be a lot of side effects like allergic reactions, bruising at site injection, and chronic diarrhea. Both approaches usually take months to start to take effect as well.
The newer treatments tend to work more quickly, though if you listen to any commercial, you'll be too scared to take them as well. When I was prescribed Humira, the pharmacist handed me a ten-page side effect booklet. Ten pages! I asked the pharmacist if this was for real and he said 'yes'. I walked out with the meds and by the time I got to my car, I knew I wasn't going to take it. I came home and put it in the fridge, where you have to store it. I looked at it all day and night and then I promptly said, "no thank you" and there went $2000.00 a month in medicine in the trash (can't return once it left the store) that I wasn't going to take. There had to be a better way.
I got on my computer to look for a better way. I decided to see how people used to treat rheumatism. This is a question that could lead you to answer on why Humira exists, but you also might find that there were ways it was treated, that the Western world decided they could 'improve upon'.
What I found for treating my RA was turmeric, and Indian spice, a member of the ginger family, that is used in Ayurvedic medicine in India. Ayurvedic medicine is:
"…is one of the world's oldest holistic (“whole-body”) healing systems. It was developed more than 3,000 years ago in India.
It’s based on the belief that health and wellness depend on a delicate balance between the mind, body, and spirit. Its main goal is to promote good health, not fight disease. But treatments may be geared toward specific health problems." (WebMD)
Turmeric was specifically used to treat inflammation. One would have to eat a lot of turmeric though to specifically treat an ailment. It is easier to incorporate turmeric in India when many of the food preparation consists or could consist of ingesting turmeric up to three times a day with meals and drinking Golden Milk, a turmeric drink. Scientists decided to figure out what in turmeric helped stop inflammation. They came up with the main polyphenol curcumin. They isolated this out and created curcumin as a separate supplement. When curcumin was combined with piperine (black pepper) the bioavailability of it became 2000% of turmeric the spice, and we already knew that was effective! Over the years various combinations of curcumin have been created. Some people couldn't handle the black pepper or the extra ginger. So, a company called Arunja Naturals Extracts Ltd. In India created Curcumin BCM-95®. This is a combination of curcuminoids and essential oils, all natural that ensure high bioavailability without extra supplements or additive. Some brands will say that using medium chain triglycerides (MCT) makes it even more bioavailable but if you’re like me and allergic to coconut and palm kernel, the sources of MCT, you can’t use MCT. Curcumin BCM-95 is excellent all by itself.
BCM-95 or as its now been renamed, Curcugreen ® “…is all-natural, from simple ingredients, and holds 13 international patents. It has been extensively researched in 33 clinical studies by universities throughout the US, Japan, Australia, and India, backing its efficacy for multiple health indications” and "BCM-95 is one of only a few supplements in the nutraceutical industry to receive an FDA 'No Questions' response letter, after previously undergoing safety and quality evaluations." (Cision) The Arthritis Foundation recognizes turmeric, pointing out that curcumin BCM-95 is known and recognized for treating RA and osteoarthritis (OA), as well as bursitis. It even gives recommended dosages. Studies show it is more effective than using NSAIDS and that it blocks “inflammatory cytokines and enzymes, including cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2), the target of celecoxib (Celebrex).” (Arthritis.Org)
I told my doctor that I was going to start taking Curcumin BCM-95. He first asked me, with a low voice and concern, did I think that I had arthritis? I said, “ah yeah doc, that’s why I’m trying to find a better way, because I know I have it.”  I explained to him what it was and he knew of the spice but wasn’t sure that my level of RA would be treated with the formulation alone, (remember, he just gave me Humira, heavy stuff) so I made ‘lady/gentlemen’s’ agreement with him, I asked him to give me 3 months and let me see what it does to my inflammation numbers and if the numbers stay the same or go up, I will go back on standard RA meds, if they go down, he needs to let me continue to see how low we can go with curcumin. He agreed. 90 days later, I went from 11.0 mg/L (high inflammation and that was with standard meds) to 6.0 mg/L. We did another 90 days. I dropped from 6.0 mg/L to 4.0 mg/L. He then said, he’ll see me in 6 months, this was progress. In six months, I was 1.5 mg/L. I was now less than the healthy, non-inflamed person. I have maintained below the 3.0 mg/L for two years now. A year and half ago, he looked at me and said, “I wish all of my patients did the work you do to help yourself with alternative methods.” I see him every six months now because, I am not symptomatic of RA. Now I do have the occasional flare up, but I can attribute it to something I ate or a physical position, I was in too long. I don’t just have random flareups like I used too. Curcumin also makes it so that I don’t need pain meds. This has helped my stomach out a lot. I see my GP every six months as well, but I time his appointments so that I am still getting bloodwork done every 90 days. My GP has RA and he uses biologics. He asked me what I was using, and I told him I wasn’t being treated for RA that I was using curcumin instead. He responded with, “That is treatment, I thought you weren’t being treated.” I said, “I didn’t think docs were recognizing curcumin like that.” And he said they were. My over the counter supplement is considered treatment. A win for the natural alternatives.
You’re at my site because you are looking for alternatives to treating your RA; curcumin is it. You can find BCM-95 or Curcugreen at any supplement store or online. Many people with RA use many versions of curcumin, but the only one recognized by the Arthritis Foundation and the only version that is backed by studies for RA, is the BCM-95/Curcugreen formulation. Give it a try and let me know what you think. Write below in our comments section to let us know if it worked for you or not. We look forward to hearing from you.

Accelerating Treatment Planning Systems and AI Integration
AI is a powerful tool that can help doctors develop new medicines and diagnose patients more correctly. It can search for and match millions of diagnostic materials, as well as supplement a doctor's clinical knowledge. As a result, the necessity for human physicians may be reduced. However, there are numerous obstacles to applying AI in health care.
A lot of hurdles exist as AI use continues to accelerate. Organizations must achieve digital maturity in order to tackle these difficulties. This entails establishing solid governance and data preservation processes. They must also implement current software disciplines such as Agile and DevOps. Furthermore, the "final mile" issue is a significant scale barrier. To solve this issue, organizations can take a few essential steps to ensure that the adoption of AI is as smooth as feasible.
Large corporations with extensive digital experience will most likely be the first to deploy AI. These businesses will very certainly be able to use their existing data, digital experience, and technical talents. The industries that invest in artificial intelligence are going to develop the fastest.
AI is an essential tool in radiotherapy, and its use can enhance patient outcomes. A recent study published in Medical Physics demonstrates how artificial intelligence can swiftly and reliably compute radiation doses based on the anatomy of patients. Traditional recalculation can take up to ten minutes, whereas AI can generate an optimal plan in as short as five minutes.
While AI integration in radiation therapy is still in its early stages, it has the potential to increase treatment accuracy, personalization, and efficiency. However, numerous obstacles must be addressed before this technology may be broadly adopted. Training AI to execute complex tasks and verifying its usefulness in clinical practice are two of the most challenging difficulties. The industry must continue to investigate the use of AI and its potential benefits in radiotherapy.
When it comes to deploying treatment planning systems, smaller businesses face a number of obstacles. They must figure out how to maintain high-quality standards in addition to deploying a new system. The EPA recently announced $3,089,894 in financing to 30 small enterprises for breakthrough technologies. These include automated trash sorting systems at the point of disposal, a system to identify and destroy airborne viruses and germs, and a methane emission and concentration monitoring system.
CDSS (clinical decision support systems) have been around for over 40 years. However, clinical acceptance of these systems has been inconsistent. Physician education in AI is one element that has sparked an interest. This should hasten AI integration into clinical workflows.
For example, AI can assist doctors in developing cancer treatments that are more exact than ever before. Experts can utilize AI to better analyze tumor features and forecast the efficacy of new treatments. AI can potentially aid in the detection of cancer by identifying changes in a patient's body chemistry.
However, several challenges must be overcome before AI may be employed effectively in medicine. Identifying gene alterations in cancer patients, for example, remains a significant challenge utilizing noninvasive approaches. The NCI, on the other hand, has funded a multidisciplinary team to develop a DL approach for detecting IDH mutations in gliomas using MRI images. AI advancements may make it easier to discover gene alterations in the future.
Researchers are investigating how AI can enhance cancer detection and treatment by detecting specific gene changes in tumors. AI can be trained to recognize these alterations in tumor images, and some researchers are exploiting the technology to develop noninvasive methods for doing so.
AI has a variety of uses in healthcare, ranging from optimizing workflows to developing new treatments and therapies. AI can also help forecast patient hospitalization risk and detect cancer early. The paper discusses some of these potential uses, as well as some of the problems and opportunities that healthcare providers must consider when implementing AI in healthcare.
AI-based treatment planning tools can make better use of genomic data to assist clinicians in developing novel cancer treatments more swiftly. Currently, clinicians cannot predict illness risk by examining molecular phenotypes, but AI can find these characteristics and build personalized medicines for patients.

If you're looking for an affordable Toowoomba chiropractor, then you're in luck! A chiropractor is a health professional who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of spine and joint disorders. It's important to note that these treatments are not considered to be "alternatives" or "complementary" to traditional medicine, but rather they are often used in conjunction with it. If you're interested in learning more about the process, costs, and benefits of having a chiropractic appointment, then here are some things you should know before making an appointment.
Is a chiropractor for me? A chiropractic service is not for everyone. If you have back pain, neck pain, or any other kind of joint pain, then a visit to the chiropractor may be worth your while. A lot of people who experience chronic pain are reluctant about visiting a chiropractor because they believe that it will cause more pain or that they'll be forced into an expensive treatment plan. However, the reality is that this simply isn't true. If you visit a chiropractor for appropriate treatment, they can help relieve your pain and help you get on the road to feeling healthy again.
What do chiropractors do? A chiropractor is a health professional who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of spine and joint disorders.
The goal of a chiropractic appointment is to identify any disturbances in the nervous system, which are thought to prevent proper communication between the brain and body. This process often begins with the chiropractor taking your full medical history. The chiropractor will then perform a physical examination on your spine, looking for areas that may need adjustment or manipulation. If the chiropractor determines that you may need to receive adjustments, they'll take x-rays and order additional diagnostic tests if necessary.
Once an area of concern has been identified, the chiropractor may provide manual therapy using hands-on manipulation techniques to reduce any discomfort in your spine and joints. Manual therapy can also be used to adjust other parts of the body like muscles and ligaments, as needed. If manual therapy doesn't prove effective or improve an existing condition, electrotherapy may be used instead. Electrotherapy may include low-voltage electrical stimulation (electrical muscle stimulation) or transcutaneous nerve stimulation (TENS).
What are the benefits of chiropractic care? Chiropractic care is beneficial because it provides relief from pain and stress in the joints and muscles. A chiropractor can adjust your spine and other areas in your body to alleviate any pressure you may be experiencing. This adjustment reduces pain and increases mobility. Chiropractic care also improves joint function, which helps you feel better and reduce your chances of injury.
How to prepare for your appointment. If you're interested in making an appointment with a chiropractor in Toowoomba, then it's important that you prepare for the appointment.
You'll also want to make sure that you eat before your appointment because often people feel nauseous after their adjustment. If you have a headache, you might want to take some pain relievers before your adjustment. It's also a good idea to wear comfortable clothes and don't forget your health card!
One of the most important things to do is to be honest with your chiropractor about all of the medications that you're taking, including over-the-counter drugs and supplements. Your chiropractor will want to know this information so they can adjust accordingly. That being said, it's also very important not to stop taking any of these medications during treatment without speaking with your doctor first.
The process of a chiropractic appointment. After a chiropractor evaluates your spine and joints, they will discuss with you what the best course of action is to help you. A treatment plan may include adjustments to the spine, hands-on or drug therapy, or physical rehabilitation. You'll need to visit your chiropractor every week to 10 days for an adjustment and follow their instructions on how to move and compensate until the treatment has taken effect.
The examination.  A chiropractor's examination will vary depending on what condition they believe you are presenting with. Some patients will only require a little bit of questioning to get an idea of their diagnosis, while others may need x-rays or other more in-depth tests.
During the examination, the patient will be asked about their medical history and current health state to narrow down what the problem might be. The chiropractor may also ask questions about things like diet, sleep habits, and general lifestyle in order to pinpoint the problem.
The patient will then undergo a physical exam in which the chiropractor will manipulate different parts of the body in order to check for alignment issues or other problems. If needed, x-rays or other diagnostic tests may also be ordered.
X-rays.  Chiropractors are trained to use x-rays to help diagnose your problem. X-rays are an important step in the process because they allow them to see if there is a misalignment in your spine or other problem that may be causing you discomfort. If the chiropractor sees any issues with your spine, he can suggest a treatment plan for you depending on your symptoms.
Treatment. First, a chiropractor will take you through some questions to determine what type of treatment they'll need to do on your back. Depending on the severity of your injury, they may also want to get an x-ray or MRI to see if there are any other injuries that need to be addressed. They then perform their manipulation of your spine and joints, which helps restore mobility and alleviates pain.
Some people might not be able to get out of bed without assistance after the first time they see a chiropractor; it's important to remember that these treatments can take time before you start seeing results. It's not uncommon for patients with long term injuries like chronic back pain, severe neck pain, headaches, and even spine degeneration issues to come in for regular appointments lasting anywhere from 6-12 weeks.
Aftercare. After a chiropractic appointment, it's important to follow up with your doctor or therapist. Your doctor may prescribe a specific exercise routine, diet, or other steps to take after a visit.
Additionally, research has shown that proper aftercare can actually be more beneficial than the initial treatment.
Cost of treatment. The cost of treatment is determined by the severity of your condition. More severe conditions may require more treatments over a longer period of time, which would then translate into a higher cost. A chiropractor will work with you to understand what you can afford and will come up with an optimal treatment plan that meets those needs. Contact us for Toowoomba Chiropractor Costs.

7 WAYS TELEHEALTH IS TAKING MODERN HEALTHCARE TO THE NEXT LEVEL
ealth is defined as the advanced delivery and facilitation of health-related services. This includes medical care, provider, and patient education. It also provides health information services and self-care through telecommunications and digital communications technologies.
Many people became aware of its use, and since then, it has grown to a wide range of technologies that can transmit medical information around the globe. This has allowed medical professionals to provide services to many communities. Telehealth is now used for both public and private health providers and more. Now, let’s get to know seven ways telehealth has taken modern healthcare to the next level.
Tumblr media
TELEMEDICINE
Before we discuss the seven ways telehealth has elevated our healthcare system, be informed that the term itself is often used interchangeably with telemedicine. It’s defined as a remote diagnosis and treatment of patients through telecommunications technology. Telemedicine encompasses the use of technologies and telecommunications systems that medical experts used to administer healthcare to their patients in any part of the world.
At the same time, the term telehealth covers all the healthcare components, activities, and healthcare systems conducted through telecommunications.
TELEHEALTH TECHNOLOGIES
This modern healthcare system has several technologies in which doctors often used to give medical consultations to their patients anywhere in the globe, such as:
mHealth: mHealth or mobile health refers to healthcare applications and programs that patients can access through smartphones, tablets, or laptops. These applications allow patients to track their health measurements, set medications and appointment reminders, and share information with clinicians.
Video conferencing,  Video-Scopes, and High-res cameras: Another technology that patients can utilize is video conferencing. It is used to provide healthcare for inmates, military personnel, and patients in rural areas.
Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM): Remote patient monitoring, also known as RPM, involves reporting, collecting, transmitting, and evaluating patients’ health data through electronic devices such as mobile phones and internet-enabled computers. This technology also reminds patients to weigh themselves and share their health information with their physicians.
Store and Forward: Store and forward refers to capturing, storing, and transmitting patient health information using data storage and transmission technology. Technologies used for storage include secure servers and routers that temporarily house data packets before sending them to the appropriate end-users.
MODERN HEALTHCARE TO THE NEXT LEVEL
BRINGING EXPERTS TO ALL AREAS
Telehealth is the future of our healthcare system. Fortunately, technology took healthcare to the next level. The use of medical devices to monitor a patient’s health even in far-flung areas displays a new level of convenience for patients and doctors. This can also serve as a supplement for in-person visits and also complements regular doctor visits.
This modern healthcare system has also provided a more comprehensive treatment plan and offers additional care that is otherwise unavailable. Rural communities can use virtual consultations with experts who can evaluate the patient and give the proper treatment at the right time. This does not eliminate regular clinic visits because the modern healthcare system and physical appointments work together.
ASSISTS PATIENTS WITH LIMITED ACCESS TO SPECIALIZED CARE
One of the most significant benefits of this modern healthcare system is the immediate access to care to some patients, which was challenging to obtain. In some rural communities which lack healthcare infrastructure, patients need to drive hours to see a practitioner, which isn’t always practical or possible. This modern healthcare technology has provided an alternative way for patients and practitioners to remain in contact between appointments, especially with patients who have visits with specialists.
It has provided leverage for additional critical care access for communities cut off by tornadoes and other natural disasters. Doctors and specialists would often use video conferencing for consultation on areas that were affected by a calamity. This allowed them to provide specialized services and save lives.
PRACTICAL AND INEXPENSIVE
It is a declining misconception that if something is involved with advanced technology, it is expensive. In the past, telehealth was quite costly because providers rarely provide reimbursement for services.
This barrier rapidly changed as more health insurance companies are reimbursing the use of this modern healthcare system. This results in more practical and inexpensive healthcare services which patients view as more viable, trustworthy systems.
MAXIMIZES ACCESS TO MENTAL HEALTH CARE
Aside from providing access to specialized treatments, this healthcare system also maximized the key to mental health care. It has paved the way for monitoring visits for everyday mental health struggles such as depression or anxiety. It also utilizes more on speaking with the patient.
In mental health consultations via video conferencing, patients were able to get a quick 10-minute consultation. This helps them alleviate an immediate issue and receive proper prescriptions, and patients can also attend regular therapy sessions.
PROVIDES DOCTORS A BETTER SENSE OF THE SITUATION
Directing patients to the correct physician is considered a significant challenge in healthcare. On the way to getting the best doctor or an expert specialist, patients need to make unnecessary trips to the emergency room or to their family physician.
This modern healthcare system helps doctors better understand the situation through video conferencing rather than a phone call. Doctors could refer the patient to urgently seek a specialist to prevent their health problems from becoming worse.
OFFERS EXTENSIVE TECHNOLOGY OPTIONS
Aside from providing mental health consultations and access to specialized treatments, this modern healthcare also provides extensive technology options, which is helpful to patients. These technological options include:
Mobile phones, tablets, or other devices to upload information for review by a physician
Phone Application to estimate how much insulin is needed for a patient who has diabetes
An online patient portal that helps view results, set appointments, request prescription refills. Patients can also utilize it to email a doctor.
A system for ordering testing supplies and medications
Email, text, or phone reminders
Healthcare organizations can use these and other technologies as leverage to improve their existing services. They can also provide new services by providing these options for their clients.
SUPPORTS INDEPENDENCE
Maintaining independence is a high priority, but older patients can also benefit from this modern healthcare system. This healthcare system plays an essential role in helping people avoid reliance on others and institutionalization.
This technology provides elderly patients with a sense of independence and how they can live out their golden years in their own homes. Healthcare technology is ideal for making the dreams of what most elderly patients wish to have through this home-based technology.
Even though this healthcare technology has current reimbursement challenges, this technology’s benefits to patients and doctors continue to increase to meet the demand for the best healthcare system. Telehealth was able to provide convenience, increased access, and also medical consultations via technology. During a pandemic where social distancing is also needed, you must find clinics such as RAW Rejuvination and Wellness that offer Telehealth services. It could be very convenient for you.
The outcomes provided by this healthcare system are as good or better than the traditional on-site care outcomes. It also includes immediacy, accessibility, and monitoring consistency which helps prevent risky behavior while improving the patient’s perception of provider support and trust.

Osteoarthritis Treatment News From Rheumatology Conference

What do the latest research findings mean for people living with osteoarthritis (OA)?  Here is an analysis of OA data that will be highlighted at the meeting.
Warfarin Use Linked With Increased Risk of Knee and Hip Replacement in People With Osteoarthritis, Data Suggests
A new study found that warfarin (Coumadin), a medication that is commonly prescribed for atrial fibrillation, is associated with a significantly greater risk of knee and hip replacements in people with osteoarthritis (OA). The research is to be presented on Saturday, November 7, 2020, at the ACR Convergence, the American College of Rheumatology’s annual meeting.
Osteoarthritis is the most common form of arthritis and involves the entire joint, including the cartilage, joint lining, ligaments, and bone. It’s usually found in the hands, hips, and knees, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). If medications, physical therapy, and lifestyle changes aren’t effective, OA can require joint replacement.

Vitamin K and Osteoarthritis Progression: What’s the Connection?
Investigators hypothesized that there could be a relationship between taking warfarin and the progression of OA because of the medication’s impact on vitamin K.
Vitamin K deficiency has been associated with OA, and there is evidence that vitamin K supplementation may have a protective role in OA, according to research published in March 2016 in Current Nutrition Reports.
Warfarin prevents blood clots by inhibiting activation of vitamin K dependent proteins in the blood, according to study coauthor Priyanka Ballal, MD, Rheumatology Fellow at Boston University Medical Center. Based on earlier research, investigators hypothesized that the way warfarin works could impact cartilage functioning, which in turn could increase the risk of developing or worsening of OA.
There’s an Increased Risk of Knee or Hip Replacement With Warfarin, Study Suggests
“Because direct oral anticoagulants (DOACs) are alternate options for anticoagulation that do not inhibit vitamin K’s functioning, clarifying this risk of warfarin would provide providers and patients with valuable data to consider their choice of anticoagulation in patients with atrial fibrillation,” Dr. Ballal wrote in an email message.
Examples of DOACs are Pradaxa (dabigatran), Xarelto (rivaroxaban), Eliquis (apixaban), Savaysa (edoxaban), and Bevyxxa (betrixaban).
A total of 913 people with knee or hip replacement were matched with 3,652 controls according to age and gender. The average age of participants was 74, 54 percent were men, and all the subjects had a diagnosis of atrial fibrillation. Researchers compared people who were taking warfarin with those taking DOACs; of the 913 surgery cases, 64.9 percent were on warfarin and 35.1 percent were on DOACs.
After controlling for body mass index (BMI), existing health conditions, and medications, warfarin users had a 1.57 higher odds of knee replacement or hip replacement than the people on a DOAC. After further accounting for the variation in how osteoarthritis is managed by different health systems, the odds of a warfarin user having replacement surgery was 1.25 times more likely, which was still a significant association, according to the authors. The association increased with longer use of the medications.

Many People Live With Osteoarthritis or Atrial Fibrillation
“These results are important because both OA and atrial fibrillation are extremely common diseases. To date, unlike other types of arthritis, we do not have any disease-modifying treatments for OA, with joint replacement reserved for end stage disease,” wrote Ballal. In light of that, it’s very important to optimize the care of patients with OA and ensure that they are not on therapies that are worsening their OA, she added.
People With OA Who Are Managing Afib With Warfarin May Want to Talk to Their Doctor
This research supports the importance of adequate vitamin K and dependent proteins for limiting progression of OA, according to Ballal. “Given these potential adverse effects of warfarin on joint health, our study suggests that DOACs could be considered for managing atrial fibrillation among patients that have OA.”
If a patient has both atrial fibrillation managed with warfarin and OA and worsening joint pain, this could warrant a discussion between the patient’s rheumatologist and cardiologist or primary care doctor to consider switching therapy to a DOAC, stated Ballal.
What to Know if You Have Osteoarthritis, Need a Blood Thinner Like Warfarin
“If you have to be put on a blood thinner, then your doctor should probably know if you have significant osteoarthritis of the hip or knee,” agrees Stanford Shoor, MD, researcher and rheumatologist at Stanford Health Care in Palo Alto, California, who was not involved in the study.
“Keep in mind that this research isn’t saying that if you are on warfarin, there’s 1.5 higher odds you’ll get your knee or hip replaced than if you were on a direct oral anticoagulant,” says Dr. Shoor. This increased risk was for that small segment of people whose OA was advanced enough to have to get the joint replaced, he adds.
When to Discuss OA and Warfarin With Your Doctor
“If you’re concerned about the potential increased risk, talk to your doctor about it. If your primary care doctor isn’t aware of the research around this, you may have to see a specialist and let them make a recommendation on which medication is right for you,” says Shoor.
This evidence isn’t enough to necessitate that everyone who has OA and is on warfarin should run to their doctor to get their medication switched, says Shoor. “This evidence shows that there’s a possibility of a relationship,” he says.
The next steps for researching vitamin K and its role in OA progression are in the planning stages and will involve designing and launching an adequately powered randomized trial to test the efficacy of vitamin K supplementation for OA outcomes, wrote Ballal.

Methotrexate Improves Function in Knee OA With Inflammation in Just Three Months, Data Suggests
New research to be presented on Monday, November 9, 2020, at the ACR Convergence found that three months of treatment with oral methotrexate, a drug used to treat inflammatory types of arthritis such as rheumatoid arthritis, led to significant improvements in physical function and inflammation in people with primary knee osteoarthritis (KOA).
RELATED: Rheumatoid Arthritis Joint Pain Versus Osteoarthritis Joint Pain
Many people with knee osteoarthritis have signs of joint inflammation, such as swelling, warmth and pain. The different therapies that can help improve inflammation all have varying degrees of benefits and drawbacks, according to Biswadip Ghosh, MD, associate professor in the department of rheumatology at the Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research in Kolkata, India.
For most patients, anti-inflammatory analgesic drugs (NSAIDs) like aspirin, diclofenac, or celecoxib work better than acetaminophen, which does not have anti-inflammatory activity, Dr. Ghosh wrote in an email message. “However, NSAIDs have side effects if used continuously,” he added.
There is a risk of gastrointestinal bleeding associated with all NSAIDs, and that risk is higher for people who take them every day, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Steroids can be injected into the knee to reduce inflammation and reduce pain in knee osteoarthritis, but some people are afraid of needles, and repeated injections can lead to other problems, according to Ghosh.
Could Methotrexate Be a Smart Way to Treat Osteoarthritis?
To find out if oral methotrexate could be an effective way to treat OA, investigators compared it with a placebo treatment, glucosamine, a common supplement for arthritis pain relief. People could be included in the study if they had swelling and pain in both knee joints for at least six months, and also had evidence of OA on their X-rays.
People were excluded if they had undergone arthroscopy, a steroid injection in their knee in the previous three months or if they had uncontrolled diabetes, gout, or liver or kidney disease.
A total of 249 subjects with signs of local inflammation and increases in inflammatory markers in their blood samples were placed in the inflammatory group in the study and then randomly selected to receive 15 to 20 milligrams (mg) of oral methotrexate per week or 1500 mg of glucosamine, and were checked on once a month for three months. Those subjects were allowed to take acetaminophen or tramadol for pain if needed and were given NSAIDs for 7 to 10 days at the start of the trial to improve compliance.
Subjects With Knee Osteoarthritis Saw Improvement with Methotrexate
The study’s results showed that after three months, patients with primary knee OA with evidence of inflammation had significant improvements on the WOMAC (Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Arthritis) index, which measures pain, stiffness, and physical function, as well as a reduction in the inflammatory markers used in the study, which were erythrocyte sedimentation rate and C-reactive protein. People who took glucosamine had no significant improvement in these measures of function and inflammation.
Benefits of Methotrexate Include Low Cost, Convenience
The researchers concluded that methotrexate can be an effective intervention for people with knee OA who experience pain and inflammation. “Methotrexate is taken once in a week, so very convenient and inexpensive,” added Ghosh.
“This study looks at methotrexate, a treatment that’s well accepted for rheumatoid arthritis in which the autoimmune inflammation is driving the disease and causing the joint damage, and looking at its efficacy in a disease where there may be some inflammation in a small set of people, and the inflammation takes place secondarily to this gradual inability of the cartilage cells to reproduce themselves,” Shoor explains.
What to Know if You Have Osteoarthritis
“These results are very preliminary, but the study is very interesting,” says Shoor. “From the abstract data that I see I don’t know how powerful the effect was,” he adds.
Even though the subjects in this study experienced improvements, this medication would probably be appropriate for just a very small number of people, says Shoor. “I’m not convinced that many patients with this type of knee OA would want to take methotrexate for their osteoarthritis, in large part because of the very significant side effects,” he says.
Although most of the side effects are short term and reversible, methotrexate can cause significant nausea and fatigue, says Shoor. “Elevation of liver enzymes or lowering of their blood cell counts sufficient are also common, and about 10 percent of patients experience hair loss as well,” he adds.
“This drug can be an excellent medicine if used for rheumatoid arthritis with caution and surveillance, but when used for OA, it’s experimental,” says Shoor. “I would be interested to see the results of this study in more detail and see more research in the future that looks methotrexate in the small subset of people with OA with this type of inflammation,” he adds.
