This empowerment enables patients to take control of their health journey with confidence and autonomy.
Optimising Healthcare Delivery
For healthcare providers, online doctor consultation apps offer a myriad of benefits. By streamlining administrative processes and maximising efficiency in appointment management and patient care, these apps enhance the overall quality and accessibility of healthcare services. With the inclusion of instant online doctor consultation in Guyana, healthcare professionals can deliver personalised care with greater efficacy, ultimately improving patient outcomes and satisfaction. Through these platforms, individuals can connect with healthcare providers instantly, receiving timely advice and treatment recommendations regardless of their location. Cellma’s Clinical Stamp within the Caribbean: Building Digital Bridges, one island at a time!
Following the second wave of the #Covid-19 outbreak in the Caribbean, there has been a surge of interest in implementing Telehealth/Telemedicine solutions to reduce unnecessary outpatient overcrowding in hospitals and to ensure clinician safety at smaller private locations. Cellma's Patient and User App, (available in Android and apple) which provides digital interaction between the clinician and the patient, is the most convenient of them all.
Students can communicate with their allocated doctor through video chat or messenger, arrange visits, and check their patient record as it is updated through this project. Medical practitioners can use Cellma's E-Prescribing module to E-prescribe drugs for patients, which can then be viewed by pharmacies and distributed. Allowing for patient contact in the comfort and convenience of their own home without the risk of being exposed.
All prescriptions are kept in the patient's file. This is just one of the Regional Health Authority's initiatives since the pandemic to manage their new TeleHealth alternatives. The organisation is also using telephoning to schedule outpatient visits, allowing all patients to confirm their appointment dates.
In addition, the private clinic Caribbean Surgery in Guyana is using Cellma's patient portal to allow patients to examine their medical records and all data linked with their visit, such as lab results, imaging findings, and letters, in a secure manner. Keeping unnecessary face-to-face contact between administrators, clinicians, and patients to a bare minimum.
Given the global adjustment to the "new normal," telemedicine offers a safe way for patients and doctors to engage without the fear of being exposed. Contact us immediately for a consultation on the full capability of our Telemedicine module!
