Anyway... yes!! That would be so fun! I think a crossover between the two would work best as an alternate DoL universe + not sticking too close to the original story (since there are so many more DoL characters than Repo ones...) I'm kinda picturing Degrees of Brutality if it were more fleshed-out... keeping some of the key events of Repo as special events in the game but expanding it wayyy further if that makes sense?

Also, even if not sticking to Repo's story a ton, I'd still love Sydney being in Shilo's place! Partially because I'd love Sirris being even shadier than they are in-game (which. people tend to ignore their in-game shadiness but that's another conversation LOL) and partially because of the whole dead parent thing for both characters...

IDK right now how I'd shoehorn Kylar in, but I could find a way. And [DoB but also DoL] Harper fits PERFECTLY in Repo to me so . :) twirls them around in my head...

PC being the Graverobber would be so fun too,, just a silly guy making money however they can... ((stares at my OC Dima who . does rob graves and such... hehe.))

YEAH LIKE it. has its flaws. but a little more fleshed out and with some proofreading itd be SO COOL i got to the kylar content when i was replaying to get inspo for the last thing i wrote and it was really interesting?? to just see them go full classic serial killer insane and like take your limbs off and feed you bodies and shit. that and their solidarity with harper ("i did this work for myself too, consider it free of charge. try not to kill them, id like a turn with them later")

on that note (@ nobody in particular) why do you think harper has dark hair in dob? ik its prob just dev not catching their canon description but i like to think that they dyed it, or conversely that their hair in vanilla dol is bleached

Just curious! Is there something in specific you don't like about Harper or is it just in general?

(My only propaganda on the topic is that I love the idea of not having to think.. Hypnosis and aphrodisiacs and stuff are fun to play with for me especially when subjecting my PCs to things... and the aesthetics of those can be cool to mess with when drawing I think! But also that type of thing is obviously not for everyone lol! (I don't like doctors much so it took me a bit to warm up to them tbh))

It’s mainly the hypnosis thing, I think 😭 It’s not a feature I’ve explored much in DOL & the only times I’ve gained hypnosis traits have been a long lasting hindrance that annoy me due to the lack of control 😭

In theory, I love the idea of giving up control & aphrodisiacs can be so fun in that game (the plants, robin landfill scene ((not fun per se but. YK!!)) But Harper and hypnosis in general always seem to come at the most inopportune times </3 I’m real picky when it comes to my PCs, and the situations that they go thru (which is ironic considering the whole game is noncon and the point of it is to put them in unfortunate situations)

BUT if I’m going to get my PC hypnotized, drugged, kidnapped I want it to be on my terms </3. I can relate this to the Kylar kidnapping event for better explanation!!!

I love Kylar. But I have to be in a certain mindset when it happens </3 If they capture me out of the blue while I’m grinding levels or some shit i get so annoyed bc it feels like a waste of my time and it’s not what I’m playing for at the moment. It’s an annoyance that I have to escape from to continue doing what I want to be doing. Same goes for the soft bad ends (Remy’s farm, the asylum, etc) Sometimes I want to be a little mindless cow :3 Getting milked n praised for being the best!!! And then other times they snatch me and i’m like FUCKING LET ME GO IM TRYING TO DO SMTH ELSE oh my god

I certainly could enjoy it, but so far being institutionalized has just been fucking annoying bc it’s prevented me from what I actually want to do😭

Just kinda bored and was wondering on a what if scenario, so a broken PC would Yan DoB bailey be worried? And would normal Yan bailey also be concerned? (For the normal Yan bailey PC already gets raped and kinda got traumatized and for the DOB I guess PC’s parents were abusive? Idk how these works anyways you can pick I guess)

There are so many ways to get traumatized in brutality. And having shitty parents could be one of them what kind of parents saddle you with their debt in a town full of killers cannibals and freaks???

But also Kylar takes off your limbs if you're not a good pet and forces you to drink his cum out of a dog bowl and you become like a sex slave for him.
