The first week of school had gone well, Y/n sticking by Gareth's side as the others learned more about them. Everyone realizing how shy, quiet, and weary their Little Bunny was, and how opposite they were from Little Terror.

The second week of school had been a bit all over the place. Everyone immediately signed up to babysit Little Bunny at school, some choices were easy for Gareth to make. Though El was new to everything she would take Y/n for the first period of the day because they shared an english class. Then Dustin would take over for the second period, his Tech Design class right next to Y/n's math class. Gareth selfishly didn't let anyone take anymore shifts off him, keep Little Bunny to himself for both lunch, and the rest of the day.

He kept telling himself he would give more people the opportunity to take care of Y/n, but he wanted to know Y/n better than everyone else. Hence the obnoxious amount of questions Little Bunny was asked at lunch, during Study Hall, and on the way to science.

"What's your favourite type of juice? Colour? Movie? Class subject? Food? Store? Do you have lot's of toys? Does anyone know you're a little? If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?

And even though he did a good job asking fun questions, plus a few insightful ones, he never asked how they would get home after a DnD meeting. The club met after school and Y/N took the bus.

Little Bunny also never asked, which they regretted as they stood outside the school, their sweater pulled close, backpack sagging, wondering how long it would take to walk.

"Hi there." A sweet voice called, Y/n's eyes meeting the voice's owner as they took a step back. "I'm Joyce, Will and El's mom." She explained after noticing Y/n's confusion.

"Mom!" El called out as she ran over to hug her. "You've met our baby." El beamed.

"Your baby?" Joyce's brow furrowed.

"Yes, Y/n sometimes feels like a baby, so we take care of them." El smiled as she walked to Y/n reaching to hold their hand. "I call them Little Cheese Fingers."

"Oh." Joyce's reaction worried Y/n, the look of confusion feeding into their fear of people finding out. Y/n was about to pull their hand out of El's before Joyce spoke again. "Did Eddie start the Babysitting club again?" She asked with a smile.

"No, but Gareth did." Y/n felt a weight rise of their shoulder as El spoke. "I get to watch Y/n during english." The way she spoke so happily about her duty made Y/n smile, the fear of being a burden dispersing.

"Well Y/n." Joyce began. "Are you waiting for a parent to pick you up?" She asked, as if she just knew Y/n was momentarily stranded.

"No." Little Bunny whispered, Y/n's hand slipping from El's as they suddenly felt alone again. "'m on my own." They held back their tears.

"They take the same bus as us." Will suddenly chimed in, Mike and Dustin following after.

"Okay then it's settled." Joyce wrapped an arm around her son. "You can get a ride home with El and Will." She smiled. "Me or their dad will pick you up, okay?" Y/n nodded their head quickly. "And you two." She pointed to her children. "Better make sure Y/n is safe on the bus." She pulled out her stern voice and it made everyone giggle.

"Yes, Mom." Will rolled his eyes. "They take turns sitting beside me and El." He assured her.

"Y/n likes me more, I give them candy." El accidently gave away her secret weapon, Mike scoffing.

"Really?" He looked at El, then Y/n. "All I have to do is give you candy? Then you'll like me?" His tone was goofy, his eyebrows raised.

"I like choc chips more." Y/n smiled shyly, still uneasy around all the new people, but trying hard to embrace the change.

"Cookies I can do." Mike crossed his arms and smiled, a silent promise to arrive the next day and earn Y/n's friendship.

"You know, Max has a really good cookie recipe." Dustin mumbled. "Maybe Lucas will let us crash his date." Before his sentence was even finished him and Mike began running over to where Lucas and Gareth were chatting.

"Is everyone ready to go?" Joyce laughed.

"Wait!" Gareth yelled out of breath. "I didn't get to say goodbye." He raised a fist for both El and Will to bump, but when he got to Y/n they ran into his arms instead. "Goodbye to you too." He laughed, his arms wrapping around his Little Bunny.

"Do you have everything you need for Y/n?" Joyce's stern tone rung out.

"Yes, Mrs H, we still have lots of stuff left over from Little Terror." Gareth looked down to Y/n who's head was still smushed against his shirt. "Actually does your store have sippy cups?"

"Sippy cups?"

"I know it sounds odd, but ever since Little Terror somehow got juice on the ceiling, handing this one a juice box freaks me out."

"The ceiling?" Will cut in.

"Dude Little Terror once got so much ketchup on Eddie's shirt he had to throw it out. And he wore stained shirts more than he wore clean ones." Gareth added, suddenly very thankful for Y/n's calm demeanor.

"Yes, we have sippy cups, and forks with soft ends, as well as baby wipes." Joyce listed out everything she thought might be useful.

"Great, I'll make sure to stop by." He went to take a step back and walk to his own car, but Y/n clung on. "I've got to go Bunny." He chuckled.

"Me too." The managed to say, their words muffled by Gareth's shirt.

"I have candy." El yelled from the car, Y/n's head suddenly lifted. "Told you it works." She said as Will rolled his eyes and Y/n ran towards them.

"They're very sweet." Joyce smiled as she watched her kids help Y/n get comfortable. "You should come over for dinner more often, and bring Y/n. They look like they could use some more company." she said solemnly.

"Yeah about that." Gareth scratched the back of his neck. "Could you ask Jim to swing by my house after his shift?"

"Sure, is everything okay?"

"Yeah, I just have a few questions, that's all."

DnD Part 7 SFW - Silent Secrets

Summary:  Something about this fantasy world is not as it seems, not that Electra cares to keep it a secret. It does however change things dramatically when it means your friends are at risk.

The kiss is somewhat sloppy, still bleeding with uncertainty at first before fading away into an explosion of deeper emotions. Something you're looking forward to deciphering over time. Pulling away to find gold glitter sparkling across Jisung's skin as if they were as normal as sun-kissed freckles there, only there was no end to them.

Jisung closes the books before leading you back towards the bed, "You're right. Let's focus only on this moment."

When you wake up it’s not due to Jisung, but a loud knock on the door. Jisung makes eye contact before disappearing a second later. You’re thankful he’d helped you into a nightgown before you had passed out considering Hyunjin walks in a moment later. The man looks exceptionally frazzled as he quickly crosses the room.

“Okay seriously Y/N, no more games. Where is the fucking map?” Hyunjin asks voice raised and for the first time since you came to trust he wouldn’t harm you were you undoubtedly afraid of him.

“I genuinely cannot tell you Hyunjin. I handed it off. They could have it anywhere at this point.” You shrug as you sit on the bed watching the man huff and pace, constantly running his hand through his hair.

“This is bad. This is so so bad.” He mumbles to himself. Before he stops and fixes you with his gaze again, “Did you tell them somewhere specific to take it? Tell me your orders to them Y/N, and don’t waste my time.”

“I told them to take it with them and to not turn back for me. They will do as they see fit to keep it safe. So without my being there with them I truly cannot help you.” You reiterate, but it only gets Hyunjin more worked up.

“God fucking damnit Y/N!” Hyunjin curses, shaking his head, “You don’t understand! This is bigger than us okay! If that map isn’t here in 24 hours we’re screwed!”

As intimidated as you are by him at this moment this is what you had been planning for. It was finally happening, your actions were going to get the woman to arrive and get you even closer to the dice now. Get you one step closer to making it home.

“There is nothing more that I can do at this point, Hyunjin.” You speak truthfully and yet calmly in hopes of not angering him further.

“You can watch me burn every inch of your kingdom down until I find that map.” Hyunjin hisses before going to stomp through the door while your blood runs cold at his threat. Only he freezes as the door opens to reveal Electra.

“Now Hyunjin, that isn’t necessary. Not at this point. Why don’t you leave me and Y/N along to chat for a moment?” She asks, but you have a feeling it is a demand, not a request. Hyujin hesitates as he’s not sure what she’ll do to you before silently leaving like a dog with its tail tucked only a moment later. “I have to hand it to you Y/N you’re cleverer than I anticipated. That or you truly are clueless. Either way, you’re going to hate me being here now. See I’m not someone who you want to mess with… death is not what you should be most afraid of in this world… it’s me.”

You raise a brow, “Please enlighten me on why that is.”

“Oh Y/N you don’t understand. You see… When I first came here I was a princess too. Now look at me. Feared. Revered. Powerful. And I’m going to make our world regret forgetting about me. For leaving me here to rot without a way home. Meanwhile, you stay here, after all, one of us will have to and it won’t be me anymore.” She says rather matter-of-factly.

“Like hell, I will. You can’t and won’t make me.” You counter with a scoff, but it does nothing to deter her.

“Tsk… Y/N…. You really think it is a coincidence that the people here resemble those whom you care about?” Your heart nearly stops at the smirk she gives in addition to her words, “It’s not. They’re linked to one another. If something harms one of them here the damage will take permanent effect in their world. I can and will ruin their lives. I will torture and kill them without an ounce of hesitation at all.” 

You feel nauseous at her threat which only makes her chuckle, “See, but I was even generous enough to give you what you wanted in a chance with them. So just take what I’ve so kindly given and be a good girl who follows directions. Now.. where is the map?”

“On its way to my kingdom with Chan and Felix.” You quietly mumble without much choice if you want them safe. Sure you wouldn’t let her off easily, but even if you couldn’t find a way home you weren’t about to risk your friends' lives for yours. Even if ultimately that would result in you being stuck here.

Electra hums before turning around to leave, “I’ll be seeing you a lot Y/N, so don’t get comfortable.”

Her laugh sends shivers down your spine, Hyunjing looking in to check on you physically despite her calling for him to follow after her. Leaving you alone in time for Jisung to slip back through the window, having hidden outside so that she hopefully wouldn’t be able to tell that he was there.

A recent postgrad burnout woman who has resigned from the stressful 9 - 5 STEM grad job I had to now work as a disability student support worker. There's a lot more flexibility in this role that allows me to have passions and personality outside my Degrees and Academics, haha!

I have ASD - Like many women, I was late diagnosed due to many in my community dismissing my observational signs as "quirks" and "A wee bit away with the fae". I masked a lot in my life, but I realize it is essential for my mental health to unmask where possible.

My first language is Gàidhlig; later in my life, I learned English when I wanted to move from the Scottish isles, where I grew up. So, if you have a DnD/OC character influenced by Celtic Myth/Gaelic culture, I am happy to give advice and commentary.

Roleplay/Writing:

I have been roleplaying/writing since about 15/16, so I have a few years of writing experience creating OCs and writing out RP Ideas. I went on an extended hiatus as I finished university and took time off to deal with my mental health as I settled into a new routine. I am currently not outright seeking RP partners as I slowly find the time to write again, but I am open to people reaching out to discuss their OCs and RP ideas!

heya! the name's nick. i've been on tumblr since like...2011 or so? i was really big into it in my college years (2012-2017) but after The Great Tumblr Porn Ban of 2017 I've sorta been drifting in an out. When The Great Twitter Debacle of 2022 happened, I decided to migrate back on a new account so I could start fresh.

i'm currently 28, and bisexual. semi-recently out of the closed as bi, actually. for years i identified as gay, but over time i started realizing "actually...i do kinda like girls?" i still identified as "gay" cuz it was easier than saying "so like i'm bi-sexual but mostly homo-romantic but also maybe potentially demi-sexual but only when it comes to real people?" then around 2020 it just kinda clicked with me, and the label of "bisexual" just felt right

So, hi there! I used to post a bunch of art related to Abigail Hilton’s novels here, primarily those set in the world of Panamindorah; the Pirates of Wefrivain series, and the Prophet of Panamindorah and associated short stories. You can scroll back if you want to see that, but it’s all quite old and not very good. Still, I have unpassword-protected this blog, so you may view it if you so wish.

I no longer post on Tumblr, but I thought I’d let any interested fans (of Abbie, not me) know that I have a website I update occasionally where I share fanart of her works (alongside DnD art, original art, and works for other assorted fandoms — it’s primarily Panamindorah/Abbie art, though). The above artworks are (cropped) examples of what’s on the site. Each image comes with an associated mini-ramble (much shorter than a real ramble).

Please note that Neocities free accounts have some bandwidth issues; the introduction on my art page explains a little more of what to expect from a site like this (in general, this is very much ‘amateur, free, static’ web design, as opposed to something professional. tl;dr: it loads like shit. You may find that charming, you may not).

I also have a Dreamwidth, where one can leave anonymous (or logged-in) comments regarding my art, or start a conversation (you don’t have to care about my art to talk to me), and where I plan to post rambles (many of which will be related to Abbie’s works...again, primarily those set in Panamindorah, and to be quite honest, mostly Prophet of Panamindorah...I’m a Chance Windar man, myself). I’m not a prolific poster, so if this sounds interesting, but the idea of being flooded with art and rambles doesn’t, fear not. Although, if you like people who make things with great speed, uhhhh... (creeps back into boggy, slow-paced swampland). Can’t provide, don’t plan to.

Please note that this is not a portfolio-style website. WIPs, unfinished works, scribbles, doodles, and other scraps find their way onto my website, alongside more polished/complete/almost-complete works. I like that sort of thing, but you might not. There is also an on-site blog, although it’s mostly for ‘assorted nothings’. Lengthy entries will probably end up on Dreamwidth.

My second note is that there are (or will be) three art pages; the first is mostly SFW, although there is mild shelt (or other ‘fantastical people with no obvious genitalia’) nudity, kissing, and cuddling. The second page has more sensual or explicit works. The third page will be for (if I find the courage) more kinky, dark, or violent works. The whole site is technically Chose Not To Warn, but most adults should not have too much trouble browsing the main art page (and probably the first of the explicit pages). My website is intended primarily for adults. Links to the more explicit pages are marked as such, so those who aren’t interested should be able to avoid them easily (the third page doesn’t even exist yet).

Quick characterizations and Prosody plot points:

Raphael: cunning and strategic; ambitious; prideful; pretty classically Lawful Evil; Not Bad in Bed (I'm firmly Team 'Haarlep's a fucking incubus and they hate each other but Raphael can't get rid of them due to circumstances with his father'); totally a Bard; will use the rules and others to get what he wants; intellectually curious; isn't needlessly cruel (in most circumstances); will use sex and sex appeal in pursuit of what he wants/his contracts if most convenient, but more often uses the seduction of power and luxury; honorable; respectful; nosy (he's an information broker); manipulative but doesn't lie; possessive; domineering; trends towards obsession with his interests

He mostly just thinks Evie's weird and kind of annoying at first but she grows on him in part due to that weirdness. He believes her 'modern' knowledge and technological drive to be very useful to him/his goals, so pursues trying to get her to join his side, which triggers that obsessive drive he has. Very interested in her and Astarion's efforts to transform Baldur's Gate. He tries to genuinely court her in post-game (and sabotages the efforts of others - much to the amusement and consternation of Astarion). Morphs into a kind of marriage contract. He does have a soft spot for her but sees having her as his consort/Archduchess politically advantageous. He's supportive of her ambitions (because they align with his own) but also kind of a hard-ass. He chooses to trust in her loyalty to him when he allows her to retain a lot of personal freedom. Doesn't quite realise (but thinks he does) what chaos he's brought into his life/House (maybe make sure you fully know someone before you make them marry you?).

Evie: she/her pronouns; human 'modern girl'; Chaotic Neutral and morally grey; made a deal with a book-bound nature spirit to be given fox ears and a tail in exchange for traits/magic/spells; worshiped by Kuo-toa (and takes her unwitting godhood over them very seriously); AuDHD; friendly; slow to trust but generally presumes the best of others; polite and respectful; can be overly (though usually tactfully) blunt; can be both very socially apt and oblivious/awkward in turn - not great at recognizing flirting towards herself but can see it between other people; prone to daydreaming/getting lost in thought; frequently impulsive and tightly self-controlled in turn; hyperfixative; introverted but 'takes charge when forced into social situations'; strategic; very intelligent but the ADHD gets the best of her at times (will totally channel 8 INT Tav); will rant about politics and culture; modern girl = modern knowledge (+quite technologically savvy); has special interests; very musically inclined; afraid of disappointing others or not being 'useful'; sexually experienced/knowledgeable

She is fairly neutral about Raphael and uninterested in his deals (she isn't the one who gives him the Crown), but they do end up becoming fairly friendly during game events. They bond over shared interest in theater/music, literature, politics, etc. Feels no fear of him and will stand up to him. She grows to see him as a friend by post-game and isn't personally terribly concerned about him having the Crown even though she wanted it destroyed. Her focus is mostly on her inventions and business ventures and helping Astarion manage his political career post-game, though starts exploring the dating scene of the City. Due to his status and ambitions, she mentally puts Raphael in the 'off limits for sex/romance' box and doesn't see any reason he'd be interested in her that way. Becomes very 'they're dating but she doesn't realise it.' Very salty when he forces her into a corner to marry him but ultimately accepts it as his interests require that much stays the same and she's acknowledged to herself by then that she is attracted to him. Makes her problems, his problems as a form of retaliation. Then becomes 'they're married but now need to actually date.'

In Prosody canon, Evie never sleeps with Haarlep for ~reasons~, so I lean towards not involving them in smut, but will write them non-sexually. They don't have the most positive relationship, however, so most interactions between them are a bit catty/antagonistic.

Evie and Astarion (who chooses to ascend but retains a softness due to Evie) have a very strong platonic relationship (and past, very brief sexual one) in post-game events. Evie's on friendly terms with the rest of the crew, especially Karlach (who goes the Avernus route with Wyll).

this is Fletcher, one of my new character for a mini series I'm making called Stick Fighters.

in stick fighters, all people are given sigils in their lives. One at birth, and the other during a very important point in their lives. there are two types of sigils, Elemental sigils and Weaponry sigils. Weaponry sigils are made at birth and are a person's literal personality. for example, a person that is hot tempered and has an "in your face" attitude would get a Melot sigil (melot means melee), someone who is very distant to others could get a Disteen sigil, or a ranged weapon. or if they are a caring a kind person, they'll get a seppota sigil (support).

there are as many different types as there are personalities, with many different deviations of them.

An elemental sigil is a bit more rare to people. while one is already given, a person has to have both in order to unlock these abilities. people like that are known as "Bearers" or sigil bearers.

the only way a person gets an Elemental sigil is they have to have an honest change and growth in their lives, weither it is good or bad change, and growth.

the change sparks that sigil awake, and the growth forms it into being, taking it's form from the bearers new personality.

in short, a person must experience something that changes a part of them and creates something new within.

elemental sigils are powerful, and If you can guess, give the bearer elemental powers. just like Weaponry sigils, Elemental sigils are different with each person.

a metal sigil, a fire sigil, a shadow sigil, a neon sigil. many of them exist, but not many have fully formed, as said before, it is much more rare to find Elemental sigils.

a good example is Fletcher here. Fletcher was born with fast reflexes, is a quick-learner, but is also rather reclusive to others and can be a bit resistant to other's help, mostly that of people who he doesn't know.

it's these traits that gave him his ranged sigil.

when a person's weaponry sigil takes form, it also affects their physical body, too.

Fletcher is nimble and quick-footed, and his eyesight is much better than others. however, these also give negative affects, as well. Fletcher has a thinner build, making him much weaker than others. he also gets easily distracted, due to him more enhanced senses, making him a bit clumsy and more susceptible to more intense stimuli.

like real life, a person's personality is a mix of good ones and bad ones, and so sigils also give good and bad traits.

while bearers must live with these newfound abilities, it is ultimately up to them as to what they do with it.

bear in mind, not all bearers choose a path of good, some abuse their abilities for their own enjoyment.

but, that's just the nature of people.

I'll make more, but others can expand off this if they wish, make their own SF OCs or implement mine into their own work, it's all fair play.

I'll make a template later for what constitutes in this series.

for now, I'll say as to what you'll need to do to have an SF OC.

    1. they must first be a stick figure, that's a given, but you can always change them later, they are your character. but they must offically start as a stick figure if you wish for them to be in the SF universe. Think of it as they're evolving over time, from a simple stick figure to whatever you think of. Also, you're allowed to use whatever species you'd like , but keep it SFW, please, we're not that kinda blog.

    2. they must have one weaponry and Elemental sigil, each, which, as said before, i'll work on later. and they have to be official sigils by me, this part isn't something you can make up. think of like making a character in DnD, but less boardgame-y, unless you're doing it for that, then go on ahead.

    3. you must start with a bio that shows the character, their backstory, their weapon(s), their abilities, attributes, characteristics and personality. you must also show what sigils they have and any secondary characters you use must have their names over them. a background is not necessary, but you are allowed to if you wish.

also, you character's portrait should be as detailed as you wish it to be, while any pictures of their movesets or anything can be less so. check mine for guidance. be as detailed or less so as you wish, but your OC's first picture should start as this, than you can use them however you wish.

    4. all of this in merely for fun, I do not plan on monopolizing on this, and will not take any of your OC's as my own. this is a shared universe type of series, and only made to mess around with. that goes for you, too. you can do whatever you'd like with your own OC's, but you are not allowed to monopolize off mine. though, if you want, I could do a free collab with you and your OC's.

(i should detail this a bit better. you cannot sell products or artwork that use my characters, but it is ok if you are receiving cash outside of that, like a patreon or something. as long as people are not paying you FOR those pictures, you are fine.)

COBB 2022- How Do We Want To Do This ?

Here it is folks!

The first of July ( at least it is for another 40 minutes where I live!)

And with it I present to you mine and Yellobb's COBB Submission for this year :

Baz and Simon have been next door neighbours and best friends as far back as they can remember. Then, the summer after they turn 17, their feelings start to change and deepen for one another. Just as the two boys are beginning to realize how they feel, Simon disappears with his mum, Lucy,--leaving Baz completely heartbroken.

Years later, Simon's friend Shepard invites him to play an online game of Dungeons and Dragons through Discord. Simon doesn't know any of the other players but there is something distinctly familiar about the wizard in the party, if only he could put his finger on just what it is.

- a story about young love and loss, finding your way back and fighting anything that stands in the way of true love

This is just the Prologue of this fic, there is more to come- and with an update schedule, once COBB is finished.

This was a difficult fic to write -despite it only being the Prologue. I struggled to find the words to express what I wanted in this beginning bit- and it grew from a simple story into something much more elaborate. I am learning a lot about planning, outlines and scheduling, though, I tell you.

A giant round of applause for my partner in crime on this - @yellobb ( who also has an A03 account, and is both talented as a writer and artist. Look out for her own story which I have heard might be posting tomorrow?) Her art is amazing and exactly what this story needs, and I am so so happy to have been able to work with her. She is amazing and her work shows it!

And of course we would be no where without the moderators and organizers extraordinaire for their dedication and hard work in making this happen. Simon ( @isthisisagoodkiss ) and Autumn (@angelsfalling16 ) you are absolute heroes and quite possibly the new messiahs in this modern SnowBaz fic world. I can not stress enough how much I appreciate you.

DnD Part 6.5 - Whispering Woods

“It doesn’t matter which direction we go, we just keep ending up back here.” Felix screeches, hopping down off his horse to look around the small clearing in the forest that they keep finding themselves in, “It’s like we’re trapped in a maze or something. I’m not even recognizing landmarks or anything, but we’re always led back here.”

“We just have to keep trying. It’s obvious something or someone doesn’t want us getting out, but if we keep trying something will have to give eventually.” Chan insists, looking around for any sign that something is different now, that a certain direction will lead them out.

Fog suddenly whips around the edge of the clearing, carrying laughter with it.

“Such silly boys thinking you can outlast me at this. I’m not the one who needs to eat to live.” The voice floats around with the fog until it’s swirling before them into the form of a woman, “However, I might be persuaded to let you go...for a price.”

“And what price is it that we will have to pay?” Chan boldly asks, blade firmly in hand as if it would help him in any way fight a woman of mist should things come down to a battle.

“Oh, that’s just it. You two appear to have nothing to offer me, so unless you can come up with something appealing out of nowhere it is of no use. Though I do enjoy toying with you before ending the suffering, cures my boredom so much longer than just killing you outright.” She laughs as she circles the pair, small wisps of fog trailing behind her as she does.

“Well, how can we know what will appeal to you without knowing what it is you desire?” Felix speaks softly, peaking around Chan to catch sight of her circling figure now.

“Silly boys, I desire what we all do... freedom. Yet that very desire is what landed me here in the first place. I desired freedom from illness, from death, and for that, I paid the price and am damned here for eternity unable to touch anything at all. Do you know what it feels like to go centuries cold and untouched? I would rather die and be trapped like this any longer!” She screeches, before snickering and shaking her head, “And yet that’s not the worst of it. Do you want to know what is? That damn witch that made me like this gets her life with no threat of disease or aging and she was born in such a way. Yet she goes about getting off on giving others the same just to take everything else from them.” 

“Tell me, what is the witch’s name and where can she be found? Perhaps we can bargain with her on your behalf or at least avenge you?” Chan offers in all reasonableness, working towards the hastiest of logical choices. 

“Her name, by birth or not I do not know, but they call her Electra or they did last that I was among this wide world. She is originally from here when this place was called Ebonywood and was more than just a haunted place of the dark magics. That is why she was able to bind me here, it is where she is most attached.” She pauses her movements as she thinks through the details of her answer, before moving once again.

“We can swear to find her and-” Chan begins, only to be cut off before he can begin to make such oaths with the woman of fog by Felix who speaks up now.

“Did you say Ebonywood?” He begins to dig through Chan’s belongings in search of something, finding the map and showing the woman of fog, “This same Ebonywood here?” 

The woman comes to a full stop now, looking over the map before she looks up at Felix, eyes ablaze even further, “Where did you get this from? And don’t you dare lie to me, boy.”

“When my princess was taken to the dark prince’s castle, I searched for a map to help us find our way out and this is what I found. At the time I didn’t even know it had another name as we are not from here, we’re from afar and are only here by Hyunjin’s hand.” Chan explains, confused as the woman curses under her breath.

“Hyunjin. Damn it, HYUNJIN!” The woman screams the wind echoing the sound and causing Felix to flinch away now, “I thought I taught the boy better than to meddle into such affairs, especially with the likes of her! Where is your princess now?” 

“He’s taken her back. She ordered us to take this map far away from here before all else, but we must go to her. I can’t let anything happen to her... We can’t let anything happen to her.” Chan insists and she hums, motioning him closer as well.

“You boys want your freedom? Very well, I shall tell you the price for it. This map is not Hyunjin's, it is Electra’s. That witch who cursed me. It holds a power as much of her belongings do. She always was good at cursing others.” She begins to explain, “Hyunjin is the closest thing I have to a family. That boy was the only one who came here frequently, and I couldn’t find it in me to harm such a small distraught child. I thought I taught him to be smarter than to go and get tangled into things, but it appears he had gone to seek power. Electra’s power. And in turn, avenge me... alone. Whether anyone knows and is assisting him I am certainly not aware, but I am aware that the boy has absolutely no idea what he is getting himself into. So as for your price. You will help him. I shall bind one of you to him, should he die you will as well... however, if she dies you will be free. You shall not leave empty-handed though, I shall give you all the information I have on this map and her whereabouts as I guide you out. So do we have a deal?”

“Yes, you have my word that I’ll keep him sa-” Chan gets cut off by Felix yet again.

“Bind me to him! Do it now and don’t listen to anything he says!” Felix insists quickly, moving to stand between Chan and the woman. Causing her to hum and take action to do so. 

Chan whips Felix back around in shock, “Why on earth would you do that? You aren’t a knight, do you even know how to protect someone against this level of danger?”

“Your focus is on protecting the princess, you can’t focus on keeping two people safe at once. So leave Hyunjin to me and just focus on her alright? Besides you can help me get better at fighting, Sir Perfect.” Felix teases slightly in hopes of lightening the rather tense mood just a little despite being the one whose life is now at risk here.

Chan sighs and gives a nod at him before looking back at the woman, “Tell us what we need to know.” 

Chan grabs their horse’s reins to guide them as the woman shows them the way as well. She stood beside Felix to point out things along the map.

“Many of these names likely have been changed, however besides Ebonywood, she spent much time in two places. Clarenshaw to the north here, in the Icelands. As well as this basin in the Dreadlands called Sinher. Between the three she gets much of what she uses for her potions and such. When I sought her out she settled between the three in this mountain pass here, among Multo pass you’ll find the tallest mountain The Lonely One, because it is high among the clouds far from the others. There is a passageway of caves at its base, Terrebrook that is where you’ll enter, and at its heart you will find a waterfall, Echo Falls. Now it is imperative that as you go behind to find her home you do not touch the water at all. You’ll be in far greater danger if you do. Do you understand?” She looks between the two who nod in response before looking over the notes Felix has been taking before approving, “Very good. One last detail of great importance...when you kill her. Tell her that Fern says hello.”
