there’s smth abt felix telling everyone for years after the western rebellion that the dimitri he knew died in the tragedy, but then when dimitri is supposedly executed and everyone truly believes he’s dead felix refuses to believe it and spends five years searching for him………..

the way the dmlx 3hopes supports end makes me scream and cry etc. like it’s crazy that they ended w The Carrying Scene in the first place but actually for real it is Crazy that it LITERALLY ended w felix carrying dimitri. like that is THE perfect end to their support arc here. felix reaches out to him over & over the entire game trying to help/get through to him………
(^ thank u felix for clearly stating ur thesis statement almost immediately in the B support)
and then of course the king awakens cutscene where felix is the one to actually physically reach out to dimitri in fhirdiad. esp in that scene DIMITRI is the one to turn away—literally every time felix reaches out to him he just does not get what he’s saying & turns him down bc he thinks he’s responsible for fixing everything alone. so for their support chain to end with dimitri ALLOWING felix to literally physically carry him to bed is just so so so so so good and significant and perfect it makes me unwell

omg ok so!!! dmlx is dimilix which is the pairing of dimitri & felix from the game fire emblem three houses! basically they’re former childhood best friends who are on bad terms after a Tragic Incident when they were like twelve & several years later a war brings them back together - in some games they’re on the same side and in some they aren’t :-)
they’re extremely cringe (affectionate) and still care abt each other so much even when they’re fighting that it’s like. painful to watch like it’s so ridiculous!!! their relationship has so many layers it makes me crazy and their pining abilities are nigh unmatched
the extremely good vampire au fic is the shade of the morning sun by @pirdmystery! i am completely enchanted by it

can we talk abt how many times felix like checks in on dimitri abt eating. can we talk about that

SO MANY TIMES#or well maybe like three times across both games. but i think that’s the most times of anybody isn’t it#the devs were like how many times can we reuse felix asking mitri ‘why aren’t u eating are u ok’ before the players get tired of it#(the answer is unlimited times)#mby i should compile them actually#im torn btwn him knowing abt the taste thing and him having no idea but picking up on it in these scenes#like probably he would’ve noticed Something in the two years post-tragedy & pre-rebellion right#then again i have nooo idea what that era looked like & glenn had just died so he might not have noticed.#but then again AGAIN he’s felix and probably would notice. right. like he would#man idk im just like……….#fr abt to make a masterpost of every time someone mentions it#it’s wild how much more significant that dialogue becomes after literally one support convo#this post was prompted by me once again thinking abt felix & his whole lone wolf persona thing but his own actions betray him over & over#like the beginning of hopes if u ask who the boar is & he goes ‘he’s not ur problem’……….#and ‘i’m not immune to emotion yk’#LIKE YKWIM#anyway i cant start talking abt felix again here or I won’t stop goodbye

like ok. felix spends years saying the man dimitri was is dead. and then he even says directly TO dimitri “the dead are dead, the living are living. you have to respect that boundary. if you keep stringing gravestones around your neck you’ll snap.” and it’s like ok sure the dead certainly are a LITTLE more influential for dimitri than is healthy but dimitri also isn’t the only one here spending years of his life in the service of an allegedly dead man
