Hmmm hair probably 😂
And imposing aura lol
I'd say this makes people generally weary of her at first and she does not bother dispelling this either as she doesn't really like strangers and she most likely will not greet very warmly as a result 😂
She will be cordial in like a professional way unless there's something about the person she's taken an interest in.
What’s the first thing other characters notice about your oc? How does this impact peoples first impression? Is it a good or bad impression?

DMC OC Week
Day 6
TW/CW: Mentions of Death, Amnesia, Mental Illness, Murder, Injuries and Violence
Family
Father
The First Demon, Chaos’ Angel, The Saint of Blades. The only child born from the merging of the Progenitors and for a time the only being in the universe. He created the Demon World as we know it and all the other Primordials as well. A powerful being who was infinitely kind and peaceful. He wanted nothing more than to create. From the arts to history and weapons, there is nothing this Demon could not make beautiful.
“He always used to wear a smile… My Father.”
“Whether he was troubled or not…”“You would never know it.”
“I would always feel so… Happy when I watched him.”
“I wish to be able to smile like that… Someday...”
Status: Dead
Mother
An Elemental Demon whose very existence has been wiped from memory. No one alive remembers this being, not even Saara herself can remember her Mother. The reason for this is because Mundus’ Sin General Greed consumed her soul and name during their battle, a final insult to add to her defeat. The only beings who could remember her were the Primordials but unfortunately Saara was far too young and traumatized to resist Greed’s magic entirely.
“A Mother…”“I must have had one, no?”
“I am here, am I not…?”
“Though… I could not tell you who she may have been…”
“I do not… Remember.”
Status: Dead
Slight
Little Dreamer. Slight is Saara’s little cousin and the only living biological family member she has left. He is a usually jolly fellow, who has a particular fascination with guns and frogs. Saara raised him for a couple years and the two are very, very close.
Status: Alive
Igniseri
Death’s King, The Avatar of Souls. Igniseri is a Primordial Resurrect making them Saara’s family technically. He has the soul of her uncle Azrael within him. They are rather… emotionless, “living” only for their research. Despite this Saara loves him dearly and is quite used to his quirky nature. Being a Litch King does leave one feeling rather… Dead inside after all.
Status: Alive Technically
 Other Family
Belial’s 5 other siblings
Eris- Belial’s Sister, made from half of himself taking the powers of time and Creation with her
Status: Dead
Erebus- The Darkness Eternal, one of the First Primordials made by Belial and his sister. Had power over Darkness itself.
Status: Dead
Nyx- The Night Incarnate, Slight’s Mother and ruler of the Night
Status: Dead
Azrael- The Avatar of Souls, They were one of the siblings closest to Belial. A kindly being hidden behind a scary visage. Has powers over resurrection, souls, and the dead. They now reside within Igniseri, the two have long since merged together and their soul is one.
Status: Dead Technically
Argosax- The Chaos, The Despair Embodied. Yes, that Argosax. He was Saara’s uncle, but she sheds no tears over his loss. She understands how much of a threat he posed.
Status: Dead
Adoptive Father Berial
Conqueror of the Fire Hell. He raised Saara and groomed her to be his heir long before he was even a ruler. Her care for him does not really go very far, Berial would never be her father… But he did take good care of her so for that she is at least grateful but since the Demon was firmly on Mundus’ side, Saara thinks of him as a weakling who she would slaughter in an instant if he weren’t already dead. Yes, their relationship technically makes her ruler of the Fire Hell now.
Status: Dead
Background
DMC 3:
During this period Saara was firmly on Vergil’s side.
Though she felt bad for Dante, the Primordial acted as a constant obstacle to the young Devil Hunter, fighting and beating him on more than one occasion at Vergil’s behest. Saara was only fulfilling her oath to Vergil, she would lend her aid and stay by his side always. But by the end this promise she made had to be broken…
When the eldest Sparda went into Hell for his final showdown with his brother he sent Saara away to “wait for him to return.” When she found out what happened to Vergil, she broke down right in front of Dante. This led to him taking her in along with Lady and Saara has worked with him ever since.
DMC 1:
Saara did not actually go on this mission with Dante, mostly because he didn’t really tell her about it to begin with. So when Dante came home she was furious, having spent the entire time he was gone worrying.
“Dante where have you been?”
“A job…”
“And you did not tell me? Why?”“...”Dante’s scowl deepened but he had no words to defend his actions, no snark to deflect with. The colors of sadness danced around him, he was hiding something and that something was causing him so much pain…
Saara could feel it pulsing in her head.
The Primordial softened her tone considerably, walking up to Dante, placing a hand on his shoulder.
“Dante… Tell me…”
His hands balled into fists at his sides, the Devil hunters head drooped slightly, pale white hair veiling his face from her.
“He’s… Dead Ra…”
The colors of despair clouded around the man now but they could not hide the very distinct colors of the one he was thinking of. Still Saara had to ask, choosing denial over truth.
“Who-”
“Vergil…”
“Turns out Mundus had him… I didn’t know Saara, I didn’t-”
Dante shook within her grasp, tears that refused to fall burned in his chest.
Why couldn’t he cry? What was wrong with him?
Saara’s hand gently led his head to her shoulder while her arm wrapped around him in a crushing embrace.
She was shaking too he noticed, tears flowing freely now, Saara would have to cry enough for the both of them.
“I killed him, Saara…”“I killed him…”
DMC 2-4:
Saara didn’t take Vergil’s “death” very well, mostly because she refused to believe it. So she left… Deep down the Primordial knew she wouldn’t find anything but maybe just maybe Vergil was not dead. Saara went to the Demon World to search, but most lead turned cold very quickly or led to nowhere. This wasn’t a very… healthy time for Saara, she fell back into some of her old, more destructive habits for a long time. By the time she comes back is right around the time Nero is visiting Dante’s shop for the first time
DMC 5:
Saara was there when V first came to the shop and had to see for herself if Urizen was really who he said he was. So she went on that mission with Dante and stayed to fight while Nero escaped, but when Dante got taken out, Saara in an attempt to go heal him lost the battle as well. Getting grievously injured and captured by Urizen, the Demon used her as a power source for the Qliphoth until Dante came to fight him the second time (Mission 12.)
After which she was passed out for the majority of that time, her body being so injured it entered a mild Stasis. Saara comes to during Vergil's reemergence and uses what little strength she has to follow him to the top of the Qliphoth and confront him. The Primordial could only get a few words out before collapsing from her wounds again. Vergil used his blood to help Saara recover enough to stabilize, and she woke up again after all the battling was done, mostly healed. Then she refused to be left behind by the brothers so the Primordial went to the Demon World with them.

DMC OC Week 2022 Day 2: Connections with OCs
Tumblr media
(art by @castledvania !)
Well, since last year I did Kay’s connections to the canon cast, I thought it was only fitting that for day two of @dmc-oc-week-specialedition I’d talk about her relationships with other OCs! Like I said before, Kay’s changed a lot in the past year, and she has quite a few relationships with OCs now due to me being involved in the community! Aside from the last character mentioned, these relationships aren’t exactly “canon” to Kay’s storyline. And while there’s a lot of OCs that she’s had interactions with in some form, I decided to stick with those she’s either interacted with in fics (my own or otherwise) or roleplays just to make things easier for myself. I’ve done my best to mention everyone, but if I forgot somebody, my apologies! All the OC owners are credited here, and some of them are probably posting OC Week stuff of their own (not all of them on here, but on their other socials)! If they are, check them out!
Lucanus ( @castledvania ): Lucan might not be the most open with his emotions, but Kay is happy to consider him a friend nonetheless. She respects him as a fighter, and knows that he’s a good guy deep down. And sometimes, she’s able to see sides of him that others don’t. For reasons she can’t explain, something about him makes her feel nostalgic even though they hadn’t met at some earlier point in her life. In some universes, they may even end up as more than just friends…
Raphael (Pampero on Toyhouse): These two are the definition of “complicated relationship”. Raph puts up a front of being an asshole, but Kay knows it’s a farce to try and get her to leave. The two of them are stubborn as hell, unstoppable force meets immovable object. In fact, they’re more similar in ways they aren’t aware of at first. She knows that he needs someone there for him, even if he says otherwise, and wants to help him be the support he so desperately needs. Even if that means having to deal with him constantly trying to fluster her for a laugh. In some universes, they may even end up as more than just friends…
Tilda ( @blacknight-darksky ): Kay thinks Tilda is cool, it’s not every day you get to meet a witch after all! The two of them are close, though they can’t help but worry about their other friends when they do something reckless and stupid. They’ll happily make some good food for everyone, including each other. In some universes, they may end up as even more than friends…
Roman ( @keyboardthenerd ): It was certainly a surprise to learn that Dante had a kid even he didn’t know about, but the moment Kay met Roman, she knew something had happened with them that hadn’t been good in the slightest. She’s always willing to be there for them and offer a shoulder to cry on. She worries about them a lot, especially considering their special interest is the Order of the Sword, but she isn’t about to give up on them. They just need a supportive figure in their life, maybe a lot actually, but Kay doesn’t mind being one.
Saara ( @saarasabaku ): Kay struggles to remember what it’s like for her to have a mother figure in her life, but she thinks Saara is the closest thing she has to one. She feels safe going to her for things, whether it be advice or a hug or to vent about Dante being an idiot. She’s probably accidentally called her “mom” before.
Manticore ( @mrmercer13 ): Kay thinks Manticore is a strange demon, but a good one to be around. The giant of a man is very friend shaped after all, and he’s good at cooking too! Even if he isn’t the sharpest crayon in the box, it’s hard to feel upset around the big guy for long and she’s happy to call him her friend!
Gray ( @tseliius ): Kay sees the young maven as a bit of a younger sister. She can’t help but worry about her. She likes listening to them talk about magic and what they do with it, especially when it comes to seeing souls. She only hopes they stay on the right path, and she’s willing to help in whatever way she can.
King (derudevil on Twitter): At first, Kay thought King was kind of a dick. But in time, the human hunter has grown on her, and it turns out he’s not that bad. Dealing with him isn’t always easy, but it beats dealing with Vergil. Besides, considering the rough life he had, she can’t help but respect what he’s managed to achieve.
Siena ( @shadedshadowmc ): Dante’s daughter is a handful, but one that Kay doesn’t mind dealing with. Siena’s a good kid deep down, she cares about her dad a lot after all, but she is a little shit and that’s hard to forget. Even though Kay isn’t fond of being relegated to babysitting (mostly because she wants to be fighting demons, not stay stuck at the office), she does her best to be a supportive figure for the girl.
Avalon (Mine): Hate. Kay feels nothing but hate for the man who ruined everything. Her life, her family, her happiness, all of it was stolen away because of him. She wishes he hadn’t gotten away all those years ago, too much of a coward to see things through to the end. One thing is for certain, she will find him one day. And when she does, she will kill him. After all the atrocities he’s committed, it’s what he deserves.

DMC OC Week Day 2
Day 2-Round 1 Some small things before reading, this takes place a couple years after DMC5 so spoilers.
TW/CW: There are some mentions of Death, Murder, Violence, there's also some small glimpses of Saara's Amnesia and PTSD in here With the warnings given, lets get started
So Saara as you know it’s day 2 of DMC OC Week-
“Yes?”
So the people want to know more about you, specifically your relationships with the others.
“The others?”
Yah know, Dante, Nero and the rest.
Scoff
“Do we have to do this? I have much better things to do with my time than entertain this foolishness.”
Saara begins to leave
Hey come on, you're a famous Devil Hunter, don’t you want to entertain your fans?
The Primordial unfazed by the pleading, walks towards the exit
“No, not particularly”
The Interviewer runs to block her path, puppy eyes ready
So will you do it for me then? Please?
After a second of consideration, Saara holds up her hands in exasperation and defeat
“Fine! But be quick about it.”
Arm Pump
Yes! Come on let’s sit over here, get comfy
Everyone proceeds to sit on very comfy couches
Alright so let’s begin. First question, ooo this is a good one. What’s your opinion/connection to Dante?
“Ugh, Dante. You know if you talk about this man, you run the risk of summoning him, correct?”
Shrugs
I doubt he’s that bad, plus that isn’t really my problem, is it?
Sighs
“Oh he’s that bad but I digress.”
Saara took a moment to consider the question and a small smile appeared on her face before she answered
“Dante is… One of my closest friends. He took me in when the only one I had left me…”
A deep sadness flashed in the Primordial’s eyes for just a moment. It was gone just as fast and the smile was back
“We’ve been through quite a lot together and have had many ups and downs but he has remained steadfast in his friendship.”
Saara chuckles “He’s quite the pain in the ass but I love him regardless… But sometimes I do indeed wish to strangle him.”
Everyone shares a laugh before moving onWell enough about that Sparda aaaaand right on to another
Saara tenses up a bit
Nero!
Saara visibly relaxes at the mention of his name
“Nero…”
Sounds like you love him quite a bit
She chuckles
“Indeed I do, he is like a son to me.”
“I’ve known him quite a long time now and he has been through so much…”
Yeah… He is so young and has already been through a hell of a lot
“Yes… I know he is more than capable of handling it, Nero has more than proven himself…”
“But still I worry for him… Hopefully with the Redgrave incident long over his suffering will be kept to a minimum.”
Yeah, hopefully. You ready to move on?
“You may proceed.”
Alright so who's next- Oh…
“What is it?”
“Speak. I can feel your disquiet and beyond that, it is written all over your face.”

“Who is-” It's V…
“Oh… I see.”
Saara’s voice dropped off as a sullen air overtook the room
Yeah… If you don’t want to-
“No. It is quite alright. It’ll be good to remember my old friend.”
Has it been that long?
“Not so long where time is concerned however, it feels like quite a long time to me.”
Oh… yeah that makes sense
“I miss him…”
The Primordial touched a hand to one of the many braids scattered about her head.
It is one of the more prominent ones, in a place of respect.
The braid itself is lavishly decorated like all the rest, with miniatures of V’s familiars adorning it. Griffon is nestled at the top of the braid, a small ways below in the middle is Nightmare munching on a little strawberry, and lastly there is Shadow curling around the braid's end, acting as the clasp. In Shadows grasp is V’s cane, which seems to hold the entire thing together.
Saara was silent for a while, recalling memories with a sorrowful smile
Look we really don’t-
“I- We grew rather close in the short amount of time we knew each other…”
“He was the hidden part of Vergil, the part only I had gotten to see and yet… I did not immediately recognize him.”
“I think it was perhaps because V had become his own person, so much so that I could not recognize the colors of his soul entirely.”
“Even still that did not stop a friendship from forming.”
“Do you wish to know my fondest memory?”
Yeah, go ahead
“In the weeks before the first attempt to slay Urizen, V and I worked together quite a bit. Dante and his well meaning attempts to get me to work with a partner strikes again…”
Saara smiled softly before continuing
“We would go to my apartment often and just… hang out. It was quite nice to have a friend who shared some of the same passions that I did. I haven’t had something like that since my time with Vergil… Which should have aided me in figuring out V’s true identity but I digress.”
“All his familiars would come out, and when I say all I do mean it. My darling little Nightmare… I miss it the most, I think.”
“Such a powerful being but ever the curious one. It always wished to be involved, so much so that it would condense itself down to miniature size and come out along with everyone else.”
Nightmare sounds like a real cutie :)
“Indeed, you would have loved it. Nightmare was rather sweet when outside of combat, for example it adored strawberries.”
Strawberries?
“Yes, I have no idea why it was so fond of that particular food but it most certainly loved eating them.”
Could Nightmare actually eat? “Honestly, I couldn’t really say. I do know it loved to absorb tiny bits of food into itself, I suppose you could call that eating.”
Yeah I suppose that’s fair :)
Sigh
“I miss them quite a lot but I have not given up the hope that I may see them again. Perhaps one day I shall see them all again.”
Knowing you, you definitely will XD
Everyone shares a laugh before moving forward
Alrighty! Next up is… Vergil
Saara chuckled and leaned back to get more comfortable then placed her ankle atop her knee
“We are just getting all of the Spardas out of the way, huh?”
Yeah it seems like it XD Hope you don’t mind this too much  I’m sure the people will appreciate it You’re a pretty big name in the devil hunting scene after all
“Ah yes this is indeed true.”
The Primordial smirked, fangs peeking out slightly from the toothy grin.
She did indeed love it when people told tales of her achievements
The Bladed Angel  And even one of the deadly Saints of Blood  Your reputation sure does proceed you
Saara blushes lightly at the praise and the mention of her Devil hunting team but her smug demeanor never drops.
“Yes, well being around as long as I have is bound to acquire someone as skilled as I some renown.”
Yeah it's so fucking cool- Wait… Are you blushing?! SAARA WHY ARE YOU BLUSHING?!?
She looked away, not answering the question.
The flush grew, spreading across her cheeks all the way up to the tips of her ears.
“I am not!” She hissed
Ooooh I know why :3 You’re thinking about that dreamy partner of yours aren’t you? ;3 What's the deal with you two huh? Care to give us all the scoop?
The Primordial’s eyes widened then quickly narrowed, glaring at the interviewer whilst still blushing profusely.
“Was this question not about Vergil?!”
:3
Evading the question huh? ;3 I get it, don't wanna share the spotlight with the other Saint of blood huh?
“Yes! T-that’s it!”
Saara’s voice was somewhat shrill and that double undertone was starting to slip in a little.
Oho! :3 There's something else isn’t there? ;3
“Cease this incessant prodding and move on!”
The air quivered in fear at the display of power.
No matter how small, even the suggestion of a threat was enough to put the room itself on edge.
The interviewer however was unfazed
Alright, alright No need to get touchy ;3 I’ll get it out of you eventually…
“What was that?!”
Nothing, nothing :3 So Vergil?
“Vergil, yes the eldest of the two Sparda twins. The man I pledged my loyalty to long ago and the very same guy who forced me to break that promise by sending me away, leaving him to fall into the Demon World… Which as you know caused bigger problems for everyone later on.”
Oh don’t worry  I’m sure everyone remembers what he did But that doesn’t answer the question
“Ah yes, what is he to me? Well as with the rest of the Spardas, he is very dear to me.”
“We’ve been through quite a lot. He is someone I pledged my eternal loyalty to and Vergil is also the very same person who has caused me quite a lot of harm.”
If he’s hurt you so much, then why are you still friends with him?
“Because Vergil is but a product of his trauma, just as I am. He did what he did because in his mind that was the only way to live. For the people he cared about to survive.”
“Do I fault him for choosing Strength above all else time and time again… No.”
The Interviewer’s face was full of questions but they said nothing.
They had a feeling it would be explained soon enough.
“Strength is everything to us… To Demons. I could never fault him for choosing the thing I chose. Does this absolve Vergil for the things he did? No.”
“Vergil is not only a Demon so accepting only one part of himself was never going to get him anywhere.”
“I understand the choice he made, so even though he hurt me and people that I love, I have chosen to give him the chance to atone. Staying angry at him would have solved nothing, such feeling corrupt more than they help…”
So what?  You just forgive him for everything?
“Vergil is trying his best to improve, to change, to be better than he was. Do I forgive him…? Yes. What would be the point in harboring that anger forever?”
He just gets to get away with it then?
Saara sighed, annoyed at the interviewers lack of understanding
“We all must live with the consequences of our actions… He is no different.
My forgiveness was for me alone, I did not see the point of holding on to that rage.
However I will never let him forget what he has done.”
So forgive but never forget so it's easier to move forward and so it won’t happen again…
“Precisely, you finally figured it out”
The Primordial smirked in jest as the Interviewer rolled their eyes
“And Vergil wouldn’t dare break the Oath he swore to me by straying from this path he’s on…”
He swore an Oath to you? “Mhmm, on the day Urizen was defeated, Vergil gave his blood to help me recover from the damage I had sustained from being used by the Qliphoth…”
Saara’s eyes clouded over as she briefly recalled the memory
It wasn’t exactly a pleasant experience for her, being drained by the Qliphoth for as long as she was, had left her body battered. Had Vergil not given his blood, she could have been in stasis for months, perhaps years while she recovered. A seemingly endless sleep would have taken her. It was still painful for her to recall even now, years later. Sometimes Saara still wakes up in the middle of the night screaming from a pain that no longer exists.
Hey Saara… You ok?You can stop if you want
The Primordial shakes her head
“There is no need, but thank you. This tale is almost at its end.”
Alright
“Once I had regained my faculties enough to be conscious, the intensity of Vergil’s emotions gave me quite the headache. He was so distraught, worried that I had died even though he knows full well I cannot…”
Saara chuckled somewhat bitterly before continuing
“In his emotional state he made a promise to me. A pledge to never cause me that kind of pain again… The blood he gave me sealed the deal the moment it was made. A promise made with so much intent it instantly became a binding Oath.”
So that’s why you trust him so much… “No, even without this Connection of ours I would trust him regardless. He is my family, we have been through much together. I believe in Vergil and his ability to change for the better. He may have lost his way once… but with all he has to walk beside him now Vergil will be fine.”
I-
The Interviewer takes a moment to ponder what has been said to them
Then a soft smile appears on their face
He’s lucky to have someone who can trust him like that Who’ll stick by him no matter what
Saara smiles somewhat smugly
“Isn’t he?” ;p
The Interviewer laughs at the joke
“In truth I always trusted him to find his way… As soon as we crossed blades the first time I knew there was no true evil motivating him. Just the desire to protect what he had left… A sentiment I understood, which was why I pledged my loyalty to him in the first place.”
I can understand that Plus you couldn’t just leave him alone could you? “No one deserves to walk a dark path alone… Especially if it was one they never wanted to walk.”
The Interviewer smiles softly
You’re really kind you know…
Saara looked at the Interviewer with narrowed eyes but a huge blush had begun to creep into the Demon’s features.
“S-silence. Did you not have more questions?”
The interviewer laughs at the Primordial’s embarrassment
Alright, alright next up is… Nico
“That woman… is an artist, a true master of her craft.”
“I myself also dabble in weapon smithing, almost every weapon I wield is handcrafted by me. So her skill is something I can most definitely appreciate.”
Oh wow, so you’ve made every weapon you use? That’s so cool, but why?Couldn’t you just use Devil arms instead?
“Almost all my weapons… And no Demon is worthy of being wielded by me. All some are good for is to serve as my playthings, nothing more. The rest… aren’t even worth killing.”
Saara’s tone held contempt, while her face suggested indifference.
She didn’t like most of the Demons that lived now, creations of Mundus or worse, allies to him. The Primordial hated them all, hence why she now works the job she does. Obviously Saara knows not all of her kin are this way but sometimes not even that matters…
I see… O-OWait, which weapon didn’t you make then? “My Katana, Araksha. Vergil was the one who gifted it to me… Made by his own hands, so I’m told.” Can’t you tell? “The energy left behind by his intent, his feelings while making it. They linger on the blade even now. I can read them all so clearly… It’s… Quite the precious gift .”
Thats super cute
“Yes, quite.”
“However, back to Nico, she has quite the spunk. I rather enjoy her presence and she  is really fun to hang out with.”
Well alrighty then, there you have it folks-
“Who are you talking to?”
What? Oh, no one I’m just adding to the mood. Alrighty so now… Kyrie?
Saara’s eyes glimmer, sparkling with adoration.
“I love her… just as much as I do Nero, the both of them bring me such joy. The work Kyrie does is especially honorable and I am truly glad to know her.”
Yeah she’s pretty great from what I hear Taking care of those kids on top of having her own to deal with. That’s real good of her.
“Yes, oh how I adore those children. All of them are so sweet and beautiful, much like Kyrie herself truly. She has such a way with them, it's a rather heartwarming sight.”
Do you go over a lot? To see them all?
Saara looks a bit sad for a moment and shakes her head
“Not as much as I’d like, but when I am free I try to. I’ll go over and bring them a meal on occasion or just to pay a visit. But I am often very busy with my work… I feel as though I should not use that as an excuse considering…”
The Primordial looked extremely guilty
Hey, I’m sure they don’t fault you for not being able to come over all that much. I mean Nero’s a Devil Hunter too, he understands.
“It is as you say. I know that but… I must make more of an effort. Perhaps we can visit for the holidays…”
:3 Whose we? ;3
“Ki- NO ONE!”
Uh huh ;3 Of course, no one Oh don’t worry folks, we’ll get there ;3
“I- Ugh just get on with it!”
:3 Alright, next is… Oh… Ok so, remember we can stop at any time.Saara waved her hand dismissively
The Dark Knight Sparda
The Primordial’s face became a mask, not a single emotion was present on it.
However her anger was palpable
“He murdered my father and assisted in the slaughter of my people, what else is there to say.”
I mean you must have some stronger opinions
“I would be honor bound to kill him if he still lived. I despise him with every fiber of my being and am only saddened that I did not get to erase him from this realm myself…”
I see… o-o That most certainly is stronger
Anything else?Saara wrinkles her nose in disgust
“No.” Well last on the list is uh Mundus…
Sigh
“He is the one who ordered the slaughter of my people. That cowered murdered my-”The Primordial looked extremely confused.
What was she about to say? Who else was killed besides her Father?
Saara’s heart squeezed from the sadness of not being able to remember.  They were so important and yet she could not recall them Who were they? Why did the very thought of them make her so very sad? Saara could answer none of these questions and was unsure if she’d ever be able to…
Saara? Hey Saara? Are you ok? The Interviewer looked at the Primordial with a look of concern
“I- yes… I apologize…”Saara looked off into the distance, a haunted look on her face now.
“... As I was saying Mundus murdered my… Family to weaken my Father. Using trickery and deceit instead of the strength he claimed to have. Mundus did not even have the balls to challenge my Father head on and even after he was weakened that coward could not even deal the final blow himself.”
The longer Saara spoke, the more her face displayed the disgust she felt.
The very air simmered with her rage. …
“Mundus ordered Sparda to do it… I only wish I could have killed them both. Maybe that would have brought my mind some peace… Regardless, may he rot and be forgotten.”
Well there it is then, worst demon king ever
“Hmm, true.”
Well that’s the end of today's questions, see you next time folks 👋🏽

Alright folks! We’re back for the… BONUS ROUND!!!
“The… Bonus round?” Heh, yup ;3 This is where we ask you about more people in your life! But this time…The readers have been polled! So this time around you’ll be asked about the people that they want to hear about ;3
“I see…” Saara’s face showed no signs of interest, however the Primordial began to fidget. She had a feeling about this line of questioning and if her instincts were correct, she was not going to like this very much.
So are you ready? :3
Sigh
“I suppose I have no choice…” She shruggedYou really don’t, no XD Too late to back out now Soooooooooo
I told you we’d get back here folks ;3
“Get on with it.”
Alright, alright The people want to know about… King ;3
Saara’s eyes widened briefly, a deep blush spreading across her face, even her ears were red.
“Wh-what about him…?
What is he to you? ;3 Come on we’re all dying to know :3
“I- what is there to know?”
Oh come on.
Saara looks away, the tips of her ears practically glowing now
“H-he is my partner… W-we work together, I mean…”
Oh is that all? ;3 Then why are you blushing so much, huh? ;3There’s more to this, isn't there?Come on, give us all the details
“You foul… you already know-”
Know what? ;3I think the audience should hear it directly from youUNless… You’re scared ;3
“How dare you?!”
:3
“Imagine suggesting that I, a Primordial, would be afraid of admitting I have a boyfriend!”
Saara scoffed at the insinuation, not fully realizing what she had just done
Oho ;3 There it is…So you are dating?!
“I-”
Saara’s words cut themselves short, the flush growing far more present then before. Then she sighed and smiled far more softly than the Interviewer had ever seen before, it was such a gentle thing…
“Since the… cat is already out of the proverbial bag, I suppose I should just say it…”
The Interviewer leaned forward in interest, a cheeky grin on their face.
“Do not look at me like that” She hissed
:3
The Primordial chuckled and continued, still very much flustered
“So to answer your question… Yes, King and I are… dating.”
“We have been for about… a year now.”
A whole year?!Wow, how could we not have noticed that the most prominent team in the Devil hunting scene were dating?!
“Well it isn’t as if we broadcast it for all the world to see…”
Saara begins to fidget with a braid tied directly below her left ear, well it is two braids that conjoin into one at the bottom (Ex. “Y”). The first braid has a golden rope woven into the red strands of Saara’s hair and a single cerulean bead adorning it. The other has a petrol rope and another bead. Each bead has a very tiny bullet at its center with a golden “K” engraved upon them. Further down the two ropes meet at the conjoining point of the two braids, continuing all the way to the bottom, holding everything together. A portion of these ropes goes past the end of the entire braid, dangling a tiny star off if it. At the end of the entire thing is a golden, crown shaped clasp, inlaid with green jewels the same color as Saara’s eyes.
Is that his?
“Huh? Ah uh yes…”
Saara blushed even more, something that the Interviewer didn’t even think that was possible.
“It is tradition to conjoin your braid with the braid of your… Mate in Primordial culture so this is… Ours”
:3 Cute ;3So how did you guys get together?
“That is quite a lot to explain, we would be here for hours if I did so.”
Thats fair XD Something a little simpler thenHow are things between you two?
Saara’s face softened, her green eyes shimmering with an unsaid happiness
“Things are… They are good… We are good. I… can’t remember a time where I was this… Happy.”
“King is… A light in the darkness that has been my life. He gave me hope, where I once had none.”
“He is a dear friend, long before we even got together and an even better partner now…”
“I could go on… But it seems I have… lost the words to describe the one I've devoted myself too” She laughs
“Well that and he would hate it.”
Oh?  Shy is he? ;3 Saara covered her mouth to stifle a giggle
“You said this, not I.”
So I’ve got some more questions actually  What is it you like about him? :3
“There are many things…”
The Primordial started to fidget around again, she gets very shy when talking about King.
I have never seen you this embarrassed before  It's very cute ;3
“Silence!” She hissed, still quite imposing even with the high pitch her voice reached
Ahem
“Anyway… To answer, I believe what I enjoy most is how… Free, I feel with him.”
“When we are together… so much of the unseen weight falls away. With King, the voices and the ghost leave me be…”
“With him there is a peace I haven’t known in… So long…”
“He is the only one that doesn’t hurt… Everyone does at first and some still do but, King never did…”
The Primordial’s voice was pained as was her expression for a moment but as quick as it appeared it vanished
King doesn’t hurt?
“Ah… Everyone leaves traces… Invisible pieces of themselves to show to the world that they truly lived. I can see these, I can see the energy of every being… All the time.”
Oh… I see.That must be…Agonizing…
“Indeed. I have learned to, through much hard work, block out most of the sensory input but if someone were to touch me… They’d leave a kind of residue, that will integrate itself with me whether I want it to or not… This causes… Some pain.”
“King however, was different… His energy never caused me this pain. Underneath it all, there was kindness and that… I suppose, is what drew me to him in the first place. I found this so intriguing, I just had to learn more.”
:3
“What?”
You guys are so cute… I’m happy for you
“I-”
Ahem
“Thank you…”
Saara looked away again, a light smile on her face
I think that’ll keep the people occupied for now So you ready for who's next?
The Primordial pouted slightly before nodding
Aww you wanna talk about King some more, don’t you? How adorable :3
“Hurry up.”
Fine So next up is… Slight
Saara’s face perked up at the mention of her dear family member. The only other one left who isn’t a reincarnation.
Is that really his name?
“That is the name he chooses to use, so yes, yes it is.”
I think that’s pretty cool So who is he to you?
“Slight is my little cousin”
Oh? I didn’t know you had a cousin
“Most people don’t and for a time I did not either… Someone went through great pains to make sure his existence remained hidden.”
Oh I see… Do you know who that might have been?
“No and neither does he, his memories from the war were always very hazy and still are. I thought he was dead along with everyone else…”
Saara stared off into the distance, gazing into the distant past. Then she took a breath and continued.
“But it turns out this was not the case, something I am truly grateful for… If I had to guess, it was his Mother, Nyx, who hid him. She was the type to do anything for her child.”
Hmm, interesting. Well I’m glad you have some family left in any case.Nyx sounds like a wonderful person… I’m sorry.
“...Thank you. Yes my aunt was always rather kind, strict but in a very motherly way, she just wanted the best for us…”
You ok to keep going?
“Yes, I am fine. Please continue.”
So how exactly did you and Slight find each other? And what’s your relationship like now?
“Oh well to start I was sent to… Eliminate him.”
What?! O-O
“Let me explain, it was almost immediately after Slight had lost his human family-”
Wait… Slight lived with humans before meeting you? How long?
“So many questions, kitten. Worry not, I will answer.”
😳
Saara chuckles
“Slight was raised by his foster family since childhood. He does not remember much before waking up outside their little farm but they did effectively raise him long before I did. They took him in, knowing full well what he was and loved him as their own… For this I will forever love them.”
“However… The couple that took him in was already quite old and eventually when Slight reached his teenage years… They died. He did not… Take this well.”
Oh…
“He… Gave in to his sadness and allowed much more destructive behaviors to rule his life. Slight became a menace and over time he became a danger, that was when I was called in to cull him.”
“A rampaging Demon is what they called him and… I do not disagree.
He indiscriminately slaughtered many and would have done a lot more if I had not arrived first. Slight’s powers over sleep and the very Night itself can be quite deadly if he felt so inclined to make them so.”
“When I got there I recognized him almost immediately, but he did not have the same reaction to me, far too consumed by his grief.”
So how did you get through to him? o-o
“I will say it was rather difficult, we fought for quite a while. But it turned out the solution was rather simple, all I had to do was say his name… His true name.”
“Slight knew there was no one left to know that name and so this one thing got his attention long enough for him to calm down.”
Well that’s good, but… I have a question.How old is Slight?
“I am surprised you caught that. Slight is only a couple years younger than I am but when we met he was in his teenage years. I believe whatever powers were used to hide him also preserved his bodily age when he was hidden. So when Slight awoke in the human world, he was still physically and mentally a child, though his true age was anything but that.”
The Interviewer ponders the information but says nothing.
“Demonic magic truly is wondrous, I agree. To continue, once I had Slight calm enough to see reason, we talked. He was… Very angry, I told him that I could not help him in the way that he wanted and I would not kill him either but I could indeed give him a safe place to work through his grief and perhaps even a home if he wanted. He fought against this for a time but ultimately agreed in the end.”
“So I took him in and raised him. Slight is so much more than my little cousin now, he is like a son to me. I adore him with everything that I am, My beloved Little Dreamer.”
:3 Little Dreamer, that's adorable
“Yes, he’s always so sleepy, constantly napping. I felt as though it fit him very well.”
I wholeheartedly agree  I hope I can meet him somedayMaybe next year?
“Perhaps, I could speak to him about it if you like. I’m sure he wouldn’t mind doing this kind of thing, Slight is far more personable than I.”
I think you’re doing very well
The Primordial blushes a bit, rubbing a hand on the back of her head.
“I- uh thank you… So who's next?”
Lex is… Next XD
“Ah Father… Excellent.”
What?! O-o
Saara snickers
“Perhaps it is best if you do not worry about it. Ask your questions, kitten.”
😳
Alrighty… Who is Lex to you?
“Lex and I have known each other quite a while now, I truly do adore her.”
“She is like a sister to me, I’ve never had one but the feelings I have for her would be incredibly similar.”
“I love her, Lex is a person who has been through much but has persevered and found the strength to continue and thrive.”
“The work she does beyond Devil hunting is something I truly admire and of course she’s Dante’s Mate so how could I not adore her.”
Saara chuckles, smiling softly
Awww :3 Well I suppose that covers everything  So now we have… Roman
“Oh my Little Mouse.”
Saara’s face softened even further
“They have a hard time fitting in, my Little Mouse, but I do as well for different reasons so I don’t very well mind it.”
“They try their best and I find their eccentric interests quite charming.”
“None of it is meant to be harmful in truth, my dear Roman just wants to belong. They will find their place and they will grow from doing so. I am sure of it.”
They also have you to help I assume?
“Of course.”
Let's see… Kay
“Ah the Little Wolf pup.”
You really like calling people “Little” don’t you?
“Ah yes, though I couldn’t quite tell you why… I don’t really remember where I picked it up from…”
Saara scrunched her face in confusion, trying very hard to remember where exactly she picked up this habit from. Ultimately being unable to, she moved on.
Saara?
“My apologies, Kay is a sweet girl, easily flustered. I find it rather adorable.”
“She’s fantastic in a fight and rather reliable in general…”
“I am happy Kay trusts me enough to come to me for things, it's rather sweet. I suppose this is what having a daughter would be like if I were ever so inclined… But my Little pup will be enough I think.”
“Ah and of course, her baking is top notch as well. It reminds me… Of home in a way that's quite pleasant. I am not usually one who takes to sweets but I will always have some of Kay’s. The butter cookies she makes are divine.”
Oh well that’s interesting :3 Maybe you could bring me some next time?
“Oh of course… If they aren’t all eaten up.” She laughs
“Maybe I could teach her to make some Demon World goodies from my Homeland…”
Well that was fun :D Wasn’t it folks ;3 Got to know all the Juicy, juicy details  That’s the end of the Bonus round… For now ;3 Stay tuned for the bonus, bonus round later 🎉🎉

DMC OC Week Day 5
Day 5-Round 1-Part 1
TW/CW: Violence, and a brief Self Harm mention
Weapons:
All of Saara’s weapons as of now were personally made by her, well all except one. They are not Devil Arms as they contain no Demonic soul within them but they do all contain Saara’s power so she has dubbed them Demonic Arms instead.
Kokytos:
A large Demonic scythe especially made to store and channel Saara’s Chaos energy.
Every slash can, if she chooses, fire off waves of the very same energy it has stored inside. Making it excellent for clearing out large groups and long ranged combat. It’s extremely heavy, though the way Saara wields it may suggest otherwise. She can easily cleave through entire scores of Demons or whatever else may be in her way without even breaking a sweat. This weapon also has the ability to absorb any soul and use it to give the user a buff or it can take on the properties of the soul(s) it absorbs, picking and choosing from whatever abilities that being may have had at random.
Aaraksha:
A katana hand made for Saara by Vergil, a symbol of their friendship and of their loyalty to each other.
“A worthy gift for a loyal Knight…”
“Are you blushing Vergi?”
Vergil clears his throat and looks away, handing Saara the sheathed sword.
“Do you accept?”
She giggles at his bashfulness
“Is that all I am to you, your knight?”
“No, you are… A true friend…”
“Heh, I see. Well then of course I accept.”
This weapon looks and functions similarly to the Yamato, due to the way Saara’s powers manifest through it. The pommel has Saara’s family sigil engraved upon it, a tree growing in a braid like fashion around a sword with six fruits dangling off its branches. Each one is a different jewel, to represent the six Primordial beings, Saara’s family. The hand guard is decorated with various leaves and vines.
Saara can use Araksha to cut the very fabric of reality by channeling her powers over Space. She uses this to cut down foes with blinding speed and precision, teleporting around the battlefield in a beautiful, but deadly dance, of which there will be no escape.
Sweet Blasphemy:
A set of physical and spectral chakrams, used for both melee and ranged combat.
These weapons are specially made to have an affinity for elements, allowing Saara to imbue them with any of the three elements she has at her command: Fire, lightning and Chaos. When thrown they have the ability to track targets as well as return to their user after attacking. Saara tends to skate around the battlefield with the physical versions on her feet, using Chaos magic to float around. When she does this, the Primordial will use mostly her legs during combat but keep an eye on her hands as well for she can summon the spectral pair at any time.
Herself:
Saara much prefers unarmed combat to armed and will do so more often than not. The thrill of ripping apart her enemies with her bare hands, rending them with tooth and claw is something she just cannot pass up.
Abilities:
Superior strength:
If Saara wished to she could bench press a multiverse with easy (The Demon World or anything like it) She could lift it, throw it, play a fucking game of catch with it, easily without breaking a sweat. AND Saara could destroy one just as easily, more than one if she really wanted. It'd be child's play for her and all the Primordials but her especially since Saara’s strength is in an even higher tier then them.
Superior speed:
Much like her strength, Saara’s speed is in a league all its own. She is faster than even a being who can bypass the very flow of time itself. Her warps are incapable of being tracked, and Saara’s attacks… Well if she’s attacking with all her force, enemies don’t even have time to react before being completely eviscerated down to their very soul.
Superior healing:
Saara can heal any injury faster than the blink of an eye, this also prevents most toxins or poisons from harming her significantly. At most they will slow down her body's natural healing ability depending on the potency.
Immortality:
Saara cannot die. She cannot be killed, erased, or anything else of that nature. Saara cannot even kill herself no matter how much she may want it…
Spectral Weapons:
Saara learned to create spectral weaponry for ranged combat from Vergil and uses two types. The Abbadon blades made in the image of her Fathers sword Mother Chaos and arrows named Skadi, which she uses less often. Both these abilities function similar to the Vergil’s Summon Swords, and Saara can also change their size and wield them like melee weapons as well.
Demonic Elemental Mastery:
As a hybrid born from two Demon parents Saara was born with an inherent ability to bend the elements to her will. Saara’s Mother was an Elemental and had dominion over Lightning and an affinity for nature. Saara also has this ability and has long since mastered Lightning and she uses her nature affinity for gardening purposes.
Through experimentation Saara gained control over fire, Berial’s blood granted her this.
Throughout her years she has learned to wield it with precision. Her flames are hot enough to sear away the soul.
Space:
This power is one Saara inherited from her Father, it allows her to jump to any area or dimension at will. She can also open portals to transport herself or others wherever she pleases as well as store objects in tiny pocket dimensions (Pocket Portals)
Chaos:
The energy that makes up the very universe itself.
Saara can bend any being that was made from/uses it, to her Will (Demons, witches, magic users, ect.)
With this power Saara can bend all of reality to her Will, Creating something from nothing, turning enemies to dust with a simple word or thought, nothing is beyond her once the seal is broken. She can even heal Demons or beings who use Chaos as well. If Saara wants to she can create Chaos pockets of varying sizes to buff herself and enemies as a byproduct.
Energy manipulation
Most Demons have some type of energy manipulation of varying degrees but Saara’s is rather unique in the way it functions. It affects her sensory abilities the most, enhances them, allows her to see things that most won’t ever be able to. Saara can sense energy from any living being and inanimate objects as well. This includes auras, souls and anything else that might give off energy like emotions. She sees these things as a vast array of colors and has mastered being able to read them with incredible proficiency and from incredible distances. (Ex. Saara can read someones intent without even looking at them)
Saara can also talk to and understand plants because of her ability to manipulate Energies
Soul Manipulation:
Due to her mastery over Chaos and Energy, Saara can control and use the souls of others in whatever way she wishes, concepts also fall under this. If she were to consume a soul, she would be able to completely destroy it, erasing it's existence from all any and all universes or splice it apart to harvest any ability she wanted from it.
Flight:
Saara was born with angelic wings that she can use at will, they are black as the void and speckled with gold. When moving they shimmer like the night sky and are iridescent in the light. She is unable to retract her wings if they have been severely damaged, which could result in loss of feathers and dullness in color.
Close Combat Mastery
Saara’s not afraid to get her hands dirty, in fact she rather enjoys it. She has trained long and hard to master the Primordial and Elemental styles of fighting which can seem very similar to dances when used in combat. Both styles can be easily mixed with one another and are perfectly made for battle. There are many, many stances and Saara has perfected each one.

DMC OC Week Day 3
Day 3
Saara’s past is a tragic one so this is gonna get a bit angsty TW/CW: Murder, Killing, Death, Violence, War, Experimentation, and more glimpses into Saara's Mental Illness and PTSD
Past:
Saara was born an extremely powerful child, bursting at the seams with Chaos. A power in which she inherited from her Father. Unfortunately her tiny baby body could not adequately contain such overwhelming strength, due to the fact that she was not a full blooded Primordial. And so in a bid to save his child, Saara’s Father placed a magical seal upon her power, thus preventing it from destroying her. Incidentally, this action also created the first ever DT. However, this also limited Saara’s ability to properly control her Chaos for quite a long time but as time goes on, the weaker the seal gets…
Saara’s childhood was fairly normal, well, as normal as a Demon’s life can be.
She would train in different disciplines with her Father and spend a lot of time learning the histories and wonders of the Demon World with him. With her Mother Saara would learn to garden and how to wield her lightning with deadly precision.
At least until… The war.
It was a long and bloody affair, practically erased from all but the oldest Demons memory. The Dark Prince, Mundus, a rowdy upstart at the time, decided he was far more fit to rule the Primordials. To him they were weak, soft, because they cared rather than commanded with fear. And for this he condemned them, to Mundus there was only one kind of strength and that was through control.
“The War of the Fallen…”
“One by one the Primordials fell till only two remained. My Father, Belial the First Demon and his sister.”
“Space and Chaos. Time and Creation. The first in the universe became the last of their kind…”
“Through trickery, deceit, and a love lost, so were they…”  “Broken children, abandoned and forgotten was all they left behind…”
“But I refuse to be just a memory…”
Saara was the one to bear witness to the near end of her race. Mundus slaughtered her Mother to weaken her Father, dealing the killing blow even before Sparda’s sword reached Belial’s neck.
“I love you, my child. Be strong and live well. Remember always you are The Chaos… Make them all fear your name…”
“His last word to me… Just another thing to haunt me with…”
After The War:
When the battles were long over, Saara was left alone, hiding in her home.
A loyal friend of the family came searching for any sign of where the little Primordial had gone. Fortunately, Saara had listened to her Mother when she had told her to stay put. This made finding and taking her somewhere safer much easier. Unfortunately, after quite a lot of running it seemed such a place could never exist so long as Saara could be easily discovered as one of the Fallen (Mundus’ name for the Primordials after the war.)
To remedy this she was taken to a place, an experimentation facility, where they specialized in giving weaker Demons an extra power boost through alchemy.
The friend of the family figured this as the only solution to protect the child left behind by the ones they held so dear. For months Saara endured many torturous rituals and experiments, all to try and hide her true lineage from those who would wish her harm.
The blood of the young Primordial was far too strong for any other Demonic essence to take hold, making the process take far longer and far more arduous than it should have been. In the end Saara had finally been weakened enough for the blood of a Demon to take hold, successfully muddying her genes enough to hide them. This lowly Demon would also be the same one to take Saara in and raise her.
That Demon was Berial, Conqueror of the Fire Hell.
Long before he was the ruler, he was weak, so much so that the Prince of Darkness would not take notice of him. The perfect place for little Saara to hide, right under Mundus’ nose. The facility managed to acquire Berial’s blood to use as a component in the experimentation for this very reason.
Once Saara was recovered enough she was moved to the Fire Hell and given to Berial, he was looking for a protege and felt bonded to Saara once he saw her at the facility.
Just as planned.
While with him she was raised to be the perfect successor and was taught everything that would entail.
A Never-ending Void:
Saara’s teenage years were spent mostly learning, growing in power.
She honed her skills to a deadly point, training constantly to be the best, to feel worthy of the Birthright she inherited the day her kind was slaughtered.
The Primordials would rise again through her but first she would get her vengeance.
However, none of this made the void in her soul grow any smaller.
Saara didn’t feel worthy, deadly or anything else, all she could feel was the nothingness of her failure. Mundus had taken everything from the young Primordial, leaving only guilt and regret.
“I lost them all…” “I am alone…” “Bondless…” “I could not protect them…” “I should have been able…” You are weak. A failure. No one could ever want a broken little thing like you. But you’ll seek them out anyway, won't you? Who are- The truth you hide
Saara’s young adult years are not really something she likes to remember although her mind will never let her forget them…
“This… Is a point in my life that… was not… great…” “I… did things… to myself and to others that were not…” “Nothing I did filled the void that gnaws away at me constantly…” “I can no longer feel much physical pain but the mental toll is still… There.” “I cannot escape the screams, the monsters that haunt my dreams…” “I wake up every night wishing the pain would just… disappear.” “Knowing full well it never will…”
Eventually Saara leaves the Demon World to finally exact her revenge, but ends up making a bit of a name for herself as a Devil Hunter whilst doing so.
None of this gets the Primordial the vengeance she so craves but she does end up finding a decent of Sparda instead. They fight, speaking in the only way either knows how.
The Exchange of Blades:
Vergil Sparda, the eldest son of the Legendary Dark King Sparda.
One of Two but the other was unimportant for now.
Saara had finally tracked down Sparda, but all her leads went nowhere, until one didn’t.
She followed this one as if her life depended on it and eventually it bore fruit.
The Primordial had found the son of the being she so despised and without much of a word they fought. Blade meeting blade, a conversation where no words need be said.
They made their intentions known to each other, their emotions on full display.
The battle ended in a draw, Saara was still very young and the seal on her power had not yet loosened enough for her to overpower the young Sparda.
But all that needed to be said was.
“Where is he?!”
“Who?”
“Your Father!”
“My… Dead.”
“... Dead…”
“I… Am a failure once again it seems…”
Saara’s anger dissipated upon hearing those words, only despair was left.
“What… Did my Father do?”
“Ha as if you do not know…”
“I do not.”
“You do not lie… But you cannot help me now.”
“Your Father murdered mine, him and that createn Mundus.”
“I despise them both but their sins are not yours… I have no quarrel with you, Son of Sparda.”
“Vergil.”
“Vergil…”
“I cannot make right the sins of my Father but it seems to me we have a similar enemy…”
The young Sparda felt it best to tell the truth of it, no need to hide.
“I see… Mundus has wronged you as well… Killed someone important to you and threatens the life of someone else you care for… Do I have the right of it?”
Vergil was taken aback at Saara’s ability to read him so well but he did not feel threatened by it.
“Correct…”
“Hmm it seems we are much too similar, Son- Vergil.”
“You may call Saara, I will lend you my aid.”

DMC OC Week Day 1
So I am once again taking part in DMC OC Week surprise, surprise 😂
Saara is uh back again this year lol A lot has change but some of it is still the same With that out of the way lets begin 🎉
Day 1-Round 1
Tumblr media
Name: Saara Age: 2000+ DOB: June 1st Race/Species: Primordial Demon (Her Father) and Elemental Demon (Her Mother) Gender: Chaos
Pronouns: She/Her
Height: ~6’1ft (~185cm)
Weight: She never cared enough to check :D
Appearance: Saara resembles a woman about the age of 25 but in reality is much, much older, many thousands of years old in fact. She has quite the imposing figure, standing much taller than most with a fairly muscular body as a result of years of training and battle. Saara takes great pride in how present and visible her muscles are, a compliment or two will not go unappreciated or unnoticed ;)
Saara’s face is much the same, sharing equally strong features to match the rest of her intimidating silhouette. A jaw that can cut diamonds and cheek bones just the same paired with forest colored eyes so intense they seem to peer into the very depths of one's soul. Her skin is tan with a reddish undertone, and Saara’s curly, waist length hair is even redder, the color is very reminiscent of freshly spilt human blood. She tends to wear it out and kind of wild, there is also usually at least one braid hidden in her thick hair. It holds a cultural/sentimental significance to Saara, one of the last tiebacks to her family.
On good days there may also be many more braids strewn about her head, representing each and every one of her friends who she considers to be family. Each braid is decorated with little trinkets and accessories to make them personalized to the person they represent.
Saara looks humanoid in nature but has far too many otherworldly features to ever be mistaken for one and that is exactly how she wants it. If her pointed ears, slit pupils and sharp claws give away her Demonic nature, so be it.
Personality:
Saara is a proud and confident person, she is powerful and won’t miss a chance to let you know it. She’s very good at what she does and as long as you don’t get in her way there won’t be any problems.
Stubborn and smug but entirely willing to follow someone else’s lead if she thinks they have more experience or are more capable of leading. However most don’t have either of these qualities in her opinion. Which is just fine because Saara almost always works alone…
Almost.
At a glance Saara appears rather regal in a way that makes her seem untouchable and standoffish. Most first meetings can be rather intimidating but don’t let this put you off from getting to know her. She doesn’t really like strangers and won’t offer to shake your hand, but the Primordial is anything but disrespectful to those who haven’t done anything to warrant that kind of treatment.
Saara tends to be somewhat formal and professional with those she doesn’t know well but the more time spent, one will find that she warms up rather quickly. She has seen much in her long life and has lived through even more, this has shaped her quite a bit. Saara is kind and caring to those she trusts, almost to a fault. The Primordial trusts quickly and gets attached even faster, she isn’t naive and can tell a person's true intent with ease but not if it's something she doesn’t wish to see or accept.
For all her power Saara is unable to deal with loss, or just does not deal with it very well so she’ll do anything and everything she can to prevent this from happening even though that doesn’t always work. The Primordial tends to worry constantly after the people she loves, treating her friends more like family. Saara will care for people more then she cares for herself, and is very motherly in this endeavor
“I apologize for being somewhat overbearing. It brings me no joy to feel your suffering.”
In battle however Saara grants no such treatment to her enemies.
There is no mercy for those who would be foolish enough to face her seriously in battle.
She wholeheartedly believes that holding back against her opponent is an insult so friend or foe, that is something she will never do or at least not much in the case of friends. Saara fights with a fierceness and passion that is hard to match, she enjoys the hunt and revels in the resulting battle/kill even more. The Primordial takes pride in the total annihilation of her prey, it’s extremely fun to know she’s the strongest thing they’ll ever get to meet.
“Oh you poor fool… You truly do think you have a chance.”
“That’s so cute, it's absolutely pathetic.”
“I am the beginning of your end. There is no stopping Chaos.”
Quick facts/Abilities:
Saara is immortal and cannot die, nothing can kill her, not even herself. The most that can happen when she is grievously injured, her body will go into a coma like slumber and not awaken until she is completely healed. This can last for a few hours or several days to months depending on the full extent of the injury. This is due to her Primordial bloodline.
She has superior strength, smell and healing capabilities due to being a Demon. As well as incredible sensory abilities that she was innate born with.
Saara was born with wings that she can use at will but keeps them mostly away due to the fear effect they have on lesser beings (Humans, lesser Demons and anyone weaker then her)
She has fangs which she won't hesitate to use. Two top canines and two bottom ones as well.
Saara has an affinity and deep love for plants and nature, due to her abilities she can also commune with them which grants her quite the green thumb. Being more than able to grow Demonic plants outside of their natural habitats and alongside Human plants very safely.

DMC OC Week
Day 7
So today's the final day of the event and since Saara's canon partner has been reveled it's time for a little glimpse into... The inevitable. Thus I present you with a poem, I'll leave it to y'all to figure out what its about.
I'm sorry in advanced lol :3
The Robin and The Star
Your lips are but a memory to me now One I can't forget One I wish I could
But that would mean to lose And that is something I'd rather not do
So I'll take the hauntings All the little ghosts of you Just to keep you closer
Because now You are so much further
A star in a sky I can't reach
It's impossible for me to go there Oh how I wish I could Just to see you
But I know if I did that I'd never leave
There is far too much for me here Stuff that I can't leave behind So how could you?
No, it is not your fault It never was I know you would have stayed… If you could
What is to happen when a bird thinks it can play with stars?
There are reasons for the space between us And now we must deal with the consequences
Icarus
And yet… There is no regret Only sadness A void in the place you should be
The pain A constant remainder I am not allowed to forget what I lost
The fact that you are gone Will never be lost to me
A pain that will never heal with time The March will just take everything else if I let it
But not that Not this
And why not? Why must I suffer? Was what I did such a sin?
Not quite
How could I have prevented such a thing?
Excuses
Selfishness Indulgences will get me nowhere There was nothing anyone could have done For you
We are all so powerless Me most of all
So strong Yet so weak
What's the point of all this strength If I can't stop people from leaving
Why did you have to go? Now I'm all alone…
Now instead of Stars The little Bird chases after memories After ghosts Echoes Shadows Longing to take to the skies again But the scars from her play preventing
So when night falls She sits Gazing up at the unreachable The unattainable
Longing to play amongst them once again

DMC OC Week Day 5
Day 5-Round 2
DT Appearance:
Now Primordials aren't supposed to have a Devil Trigger due to how ancient a race of Demons they are. They are the first and therefore created the Devil Trigger in its beginnings, however a full-on transformation into a Devil form is not possible considering they are already in their true forms. However, Saara is the Demon in which Devil Triggers originated and every Demonic being born after her has one because of this. Normally this would manifest as a significant power boost and not a full transformation but because of experimentation done to Saara at a very young age and her extremely malleable nature she has acquired a DT much like what the Spardas have.
Saara’s Devil Trigger pre DMC 5 looks much like her adoptive father, because his blood was used in the aforementioned experiments. They were done to muddy her genetic makeup and hide the reality of what she was from the other Demons who wished her dead. Even though the intentions behind these were good, that didn’t stop them from changing Saara quite drastically.
In this form she grows two feet taller but remains mostly humanoid. Saara’s fangs begin to grow longer, her chiseled jaw becoming more of a maw.
The Primordial’s body becomes black, chitinous.  Fiery veins burst forth from pin pricks along her spine to decorate her skin, needle marks from the experiments that had long since healed, old memories that still contain power. Saara’s legs and feet become dragon-like, digitigrade joints and claws of The Fire Hell itself.  Smooth chitin covers most of her body, impenetrable to all but the mightiest of foes, all but the forearms and hands are covered. Beginning at the elbows, Saara’s armor plating is replaced with rigid scale. One after the other they cover each other to look like rocks covering lava. Fingers tipped with claws that glow like molten magma and burn hot enough to sear away the soul in a single swipe.
Her curly, red mane grows far longer, turning to fire at the ends, Moving with a life all its own, in a wind that seems not to be. Curved horns as black as the void sprout from Saara’s head, covering her eyes completely in their massiveness. They are decorated in cracks of gold and tipped in scales that gleam with a color much the same. These horns are not as smooth as their appearance may suggest but are actually quite rigid to the touch. And are so massive in their measure that they seem to scrape against the very skies.
Post DMC 5 DT Appearance:
Shortly after Urizen’s defeat, Saara’s Devil Trigger undergoes a change. During the events of DMC 5 Saara had been captured and used as a power source for the Qliphoth which led to her being severely injured by the end of it all. Vergil takes the Primordial with him to the top of the tree to heal her since he felt responsible for her condition. He had harmed someone he cared for in his foolish attempts to acquire power yet again…To accomplish this and prevent Saara from going into stasis to recover, the elder Sparda twin used his blood as a catalyst to aid in Saara’s healing. This did indeed work but due to the Primordial’s extremely malleable and adaptable nature, Vergil’s aid had some unforeseen side effects, namely on Saara’s Devil Trigger.
The Sparda’s blood did wonders for chipping further away at the seal on Saara’s Chaos energy. The overwhelming power has now almost completely consumed whatever traces of the experiment were left, leaving her form rather changed. The chitin that covers most of Saara’s body has grown over her eyes as well, leaving her blind. This is of no hindrance to her, since the Primordials sensory capabilities more than make up for the lack of physical sight. It does lead to an even more… feral fighting style however so any foe should expect to be quickly overpowered.
Beyond the eyes Saara’s appearance stays over all the same except for the Primordial’s wings. Each Primordial has a pair and this one is no different, her usually angelic wings have acquired a more demonic touch. Normally they are completely feathered and attached to her back like a birds would be but in DT this is changed. No longer are they attached normally but instead a fully functional set of arms attaches them. (Think Gore Magala MH style) The extra appendages are covered in gold and black scale but look much like her own arms besides and from them come her void black wings, which are now more fearsome than ever.
Side note: Saara’s Devil Trigger undergoes one more drastic change in the future so stay tuned for that ;)

DMC OC Week Day 5
Day 5-Round 1-Part 2
Job:
Saara works as a mostly freelance Devil Hunter, she isn’t affiliated with any guild but is friendly with them. Though she prefers mostly to work out of Dante’s branch Devil May Cry or take jobs in his name so the shop gets good reviews. She will sometimes take work from other brokers, which she tends to charge her premium rates for. Saara is a rather expensive Devil Hunter to hire but always offers a friends and family discount to those she likes or those in dire need.
100% off
Hobbies:
Drawing
Something she picked up from her Father initially, Saara has sketchbooks upon sketchbooks filled with art. All hand drawn in many different mediums though pencil and color pencil seem to be her favorite. Nature and people are Saara’s favorite things to capture, especially if the people she’s drawing are just going about their lives.
“There is always beauty to be seen in the seemingly mundane.”
Saara has drawn at least everyone in the crew at least once, and if one were to peek over her shoulder they could perhaps catch her working on one of the many drawings she has of her partner. She has so many that she's actually embarrassed about the amount and would never dare show them, though Saara knows he knows about them. There’s just something about King that is so satisfying to capture, she can’t help it.
Gardening
Saara loves nature, all kinds, even some of the types others may consider a little odd.
There are plants strewn all around her apartment and there is even a large garden within her home, even though it may not look like there is space for it. The room is enchanted with Demonic magic to lead to a safe and empty dimension within the Demon World. Saara built a greenhouse/ lab within this space, which she uses to grow and nurture plants of all types, both Human and Demonic. She can also grow her own new species and often does so to give her family (Friends) specialized plants. Gardening reminds Saara a lot of her childhood and it brings her peace.
Reading
If Saara isn’t working, she’s reading, there isn’t a moment where her nose isn't stuck in a book or multiple at once. On days off she’ll go to her favorite bookshop in Redgrave to see if Maude has something new for her or just to read quietly while taking notes till the place closes. Her lust for knowledge is so great that she’ll even travel to the Demon World to find much rarer works. Being able to read 8 of the 10 main Demonic languages helps greatly in her endeavors. Saara wishes to someday read all 10 someday to gather as much knowledge as possible.
She can also speak 6 of the main 10 fluently and 2 at about mid level which also helps.

DMC OC Week Day 4
Day 4-Round 2
TW/CW: Mentions of Death, Injury, Mental Illness and Self Harm
Fears:
Losing King…
This is a rather distinct and ever present fear for Saara. From the beginning of their friendship…  To now… For forever. Saara knew she didn’t want to leave his side. She couldn’t… To do so would perhaps doom them both to wander forever in their darkness alone.
“No one ever deserves to walk a dark path alone…”
However the Universe is cruel, even to itself.
And there the poor little robin sat, forever cursed to watch the finite light of the Star she loved so much, slowly fizzle out.
Losing her loved one
Saara has lost so much in her life that losing anymore is rather devastating. It causes her to worry after others constantly, though she does try her best to hide this and not be too overbearing. Luckily a lot of the people in her life are rather hearty but still this fear persists in the back of her head.
Large groupings of Demons
Saara remembers the sounds of that night, the awful cacophony of screaming, tearing, the thud of her Fathers head as it hit the ground. So overly large groups of Demons terrify her, bringing forth the memories and noises that haunt her. However, all she fights are large groups of Demons, Saara allows herself to be surrounded, allows them to get far too close.
How can she be scared of them while also charging them head on?
“To show fear to the enemy is to let them know you are weak, and I am not weak.”
Thunder
The sounds of thunder can easily trigger Saara’s PTSD which brings her to a place she’d rather not be, so even though she likes rain and storms, thunder is one of the things she cannot handle.
Weaknesses:
Saara does not have any physical weaknesses really, she has plenty of abilities to negate most harm. The most that can happen is if she gets grievously injured Saara will enter stasis and sleep for some time depending on how bad her injuries are. But most enemies are incapable of pushing her to that limit.
Now for emotional weaknesses those would have to be King and herself.
If anything happened to King, Saara would have a very hard time continuing on. Eventually she would, but would never be the same.
Saara can be rather cruel to herself, in the way that she thinks about herself. The Primordial also doesn’t treat herself very kindly, often consciously and subconsciously engaging in self harm. She actively tries to stop and get better about catching herself beforehand but sometimes Saara’s mental state can be so bad that it isn’t always enough, though she does try very hard.

DMC OC Week Day 4
Day 4-Round 1
Likes:
Drawing:
When Saara was a child she would sit for hours and watch her Father, Belial, draw or paint the most beautiful things. There are many gorgeous places in the Demon World, an infinite number of things to immortalize in ink. Almost everyday for as long as Saara could remember, Belial would put her on his back and fly her to the most idyllic locations and draw all the while teaching her to do the same or explaining the history of the place they’d happen to be at. These are some of her fondest memories from her childhood and her only regret is not having more of her Fathers works to relive the memories without the fog of time that clouds her mind sometimes.
The only thing that remains is a single sketch book her Father never got the chance to completely fill out. Only the first few pages have anything on them, sketches of landscapes, the home they used to live so happily in, a woman who Saara cannot recognize even though she looks so much like her…
Reading and learning:
Saara could spend hours or days at a time reading without break, on her days off you can always catch in her apartment reading a new book and taking notes. The first thing she did when she moved into the apartment she lives now is find the one bookshop in the city that sells rare and hard to find books. The very next thing she did was befriend the shop owner, Maude, because she goes there so much. Saara is so friendly with her in fact that Maude will often ask her to close up, because she’s usually the last one out of the store as Saara has the tendency to get so caught up in her reading.
Plants and Nature:
A love of nature is something that was instilled in Saara from a young age.
Her homeland, The Primordial Basin, was a jungle-like area filled to the brim with different Demonic flora and fauna so it only makes sense for her to fall in love with it.   Her Mother also grew a vast array of Demonic plants in her garden, a place so large it was a dimension in and of itself. Saara would spend many a day running around and playing inside that large and wonderful world, conversing with the flora and fauna that resided there, some could actually even talk back. Her Mother had been keeping that garden since time immemorial, some of the beings there had gained sentience, since they were surrounded by Demonic energy at all times.
Saara’s favorite being was a very grouchy plant that would always try to eat her but never could catch her, roots and all that. Over time though, after many, many attempts, this plant did manage to catch her but in the end he no longer could eat her saying “he had already eaten” but in truth the plant had grown to care for the child Saara too much to harm her now. She would visit this grouchy plant everyday and discuss the things that had happened outside of the place that it lived, after which they would play Saara’s favorite game and the plant would try to eat her all over again, much to her delight. She keeps a tiny garden of her very own in her apartment as a result of all this, mostly human plants which are interesting in their own right but she also has a demon plant or two.
Saara sometimes wonders if that garden is still there, maybe one day she will go back to the family home and find out…
History:
Saara has always found the Demon World interesting, it is her home after all. As fascinating as the Human World is, the Demon World is infinitely more so. Many things exist there, sometimes even without the knowledge of its residents. Saara will consume anything and everything, when it comes to her home, a trait she picked up listening to the many stories her father would tell. Nights before bed and sometimes even during their training, Belial would regale her with tales of great battles or fascinating legends, of places she could only dream of. He promised to take her to see every inch of the Demon World one day, but promises are meant to be broken, right?
Being left behind:
A lot of important people in Saara’s life have left her, so she tends to take this particular thing very hard. It is something that will always give her anxiety even if the person is just going to the next room for a moment. Saara hides these feelings incredibly well however, most anyone will have trouble seeing through her mask.
Not being given a choice:
Saara loves to have control over most things in her life, it gives her a sense of stability. When that control is taken from her, the result tends not to be good.
Saara’s Dislikes:
People who think they are better than others, especially when it’s clear they don’t deserve it:
Strength is the core of Demon society, the only way to earn a name for yourself is to prove you are strong, words mean nothing. In Saara’s mind a boastful enemy is a weak one and she detests a chatty Demon.
Liars:
There’s no honor in lying, especially to the degree that it hurts others. Saara has been hurt by lies, people that she’s cared for and that hurts more than anything. Lying directly to her face will not only sadden her because she knows when a person is doing so but it will also anger her greatly.
Promise breakers:
If you say you are going to do something then do it.
Being alone:
When alone without something to do, Saara's mind tends to wander.  It will wander and wander until it reaches a place that Saara doesn’t like to be. Though she tends to go to those better forgotten places anyway as she has the tendency of isolating.
Being left behind:
A lot of important people in Saara’s life have left her, so she tends to take this particular thing very hard. It is something that will always give her anxiety even if the person is just going to the next room for a moment. DMC OC Week Day 3
Day 3
Future:
Saara has been through much and the path ahead will contain so much more.
For now though she is more than content with her lot, Saara has a partner who she adores although the Primordial still does not fully understand how a relationship like theirs can work.
“I love him…” “Though I feel as though maybe… it is not yet appropriate for me to say so…” “I do not deserve to have such a light in my life…” “My Little Star…”
Beyond the adventure of having to navigate a relationship Saara will also have to deal with all the troubles of being a Primordial. Such as… Recovering the sword her Father used to wield from a crazy Demonic cult trying to resurrect the Progenitors.
Or how bout discovering you have a long lost twin running around and that they and their twin have come to kill you and claim what they believe to be theirs, your birthright.
The throne of the Demon World
All this and more lay ahead, stay tuned to see how she deals with it all ;3

DMC OC Week Day 1
Day 1-Round 2
Whats in her bag?
Saara doesn’t keep a bag as humans would know it, she uses her powers to make pocket dimensions of varying sizes to store things and keep them just a portal summon away.
The Primordial will store anything from snacks to first aid supplies in these, and since they can be accessed whenever she wishes, this eliminates the need for a physical bag. The most Saara will keep on her person at any time is the keys to her apartment, her phone (The newest model Samsung Note) and some lollipops in her coat pockets.
Precious Items:
A lace necklace with a red jewel set in a gold pendant, given to her by Vergil as a gift. A symbol of their friendship and Saara’s oath to act as his knight. She never takes this off and has enchanted it to withstand anything that might harm it.
In an ornately carved wooden box, sitting atop the dresser in Saara’s bedroom is an earring. It is made from a Demonic metal that looks similar to gold, inlaid in this earring are six crystals of unknown origin, some are even as old as time itself. They are crystallized energy from the original Primordials, Belial and his siblings. The only remaining piece Saara has left from her family, the earring itself was given to her by her Father. She refuses to wear it, feeling unworthy to ever put it on again. For this reason Saara keeps it hidden within that box, only sparing it the smallest glance before closing it back in its dark cage again.
A seemingly leather bound sketch book emblazoned with The Primordial Tree on the cover. The Tree is growing in a braid-like fashion around an odd looking sword. Hanging from its branches are six fruits, one for each of the original Primordials.
This book contains some sketches left behind by Saara’s Father, he never got the chance to finish filling it but it is all that remains of his works.
