Sims 2 Mew Ichigo Set

This project stretched my rudimentary meshing skills... anyway it's not perfect but overall I'm satisfied with it.

Anyway. It's an outfit, hair, and accessories for Ichigo Momomiya/Mew Ichigo from Tokyo Mew Mew. (No, I totally haven't been watching the remake, why do you ask?) I'm hoping to create stuff for the rest of the gang but it might take a while (and I have a feeling Pudding might be the last...) First I want to list what I pilfered each of the mesh pieces from:

The top is from the base game, using the texture for Bella's outfit.

The skirt, garters, choker, and tail are from f-louri's Mew Ichigo MikuMikuDance (MMD) model, found here.

The ears... I have no idea where they're from. I took them from a Mew Ichigo MMD model I made in like 2013, but since it's been over a decade and I've been out of the MMD scene for nearly that long, I don't remember where I got them.

The boots are Jacci boots.

Now for the separate pieces:

Outfit: TF-AF, all morphs, comes in the single swatch. Includes dress, boots, garters, and choker (didn't feel like separating them into BV jewelry). Categorized as everyday, formal, gym, and outerwear.

Tail: TF-AF, found in accessories, shows up on everyday/formal/gym/outerwear. *While it looked fine in CAS and when I created it, the bow likes to slip under the tail in Live Mode. I don't know how to fix that.

Ears: PU-EU, found in accessories, shows up on everyday/formal/gym/outerwear. Is around 10k poly, so on the high side for accessories. The ears are on the large side, mostly so I can cover the human ears (a pet peeve of mine is catgirls with two sets of ears). I recommend using a voluminous hair with these.

Peggy Fh080129: PF-EF, comes in three shades of pink (Pooklet's Tetryl, Thorium, and Pentolite) with Afterglow textures and red ribbons. (This is supposed to be her 'civilian' hair). I didn't do the naturals since Katsurin has already done them here. Mesh is included.

Newsea The Moment: PF-EF. I used io's mesh edit and age conversion for this one. I also did the Afterglow naturals as well as the three shades of pink. This is the hair pictured in the preview.

Just a look at what I've been up to the last few days. I know, I know... I just had to start ANOTHER hair project. But really, it's about time I took out some of the overly shiny original hairs (or shiny retextures), and replaced them with stuff I like better (assuming there is anything better to be had).

In some cases I have so many retextures of a hair, I have to take them into game to see what they look like to make up my mind. In this case, I kept two of the above options. The top left was kept for the braid textures, and the one at the bottom for the color streaks.

...counters! Wood recolors of counters!

I've recolored every counter that EA has created in a pack or expansion that:

1) already had wood recolors

2) didn't have wood recolors, but I felt that wood recolors suited them

For the colors: I am using Dynamite, Depth Charge, Shrapnel, Safety Fuse and Time Bomb by @pooklet, and Nesert and Honey by Io aka @serabiet.

Please check out the Add-On's I've recommended! They are meshes made by community members that will use these textures too. Or, they are bits of CC that go along with these nicely!

Double Wood Counter - counterromantic

Notes: your best 'historical' option for a counter if you're purely MM. no change at all to the wood texture. Minimal shine on the bottom.

Epikourous Sleek Cuisine Counter - counterdesigner

Notes: a counter so nice I made 2 versions! V1 here has the original wood textures, minimal shine.

V2 removes the wooden slats which were just texture, and not meshed on.

Got some new countertops to go with it as well! why not

Fat City Counter - counterdiner

Notes: this came with a wood retexture that's not the worst, it's alright, so I used it. Shine removed.

Notes: I really like this one! It has a vintage vibe in my opinion. Same wood texture, no shine.

Notes: Monty lookin counters. Mostly the same textures, but instead of stained glass inserts in the doors, decorative wood! Swatch of the counter tops

*notable exceptions:

that ugly art nouveau one, "Chiclettina "Sardinia" Kitchen Counter". I did try about 3 times to make it look good but it just does not. Maybe someone more talented than I can rework the mesh, the mapping....

The "Krampft Industries Value Counter". This is a counter that I really like, and I've even included 3 very nice DL's that are repositoired to it below! But I thought that wood recolors just would not work on the shape. Other people have done wood recolors however, and they are very easy to find.

Sims 2 Mew Zakuro Set

Now for the third of my Tokyo Mew Mew sets... Mew Zakuro! Because I wanted to put her and Mint together in my game. Don't worry I'll do Mew Lettuce (and Pudding eventually once I find a good base outfit, I am NOT looking forward to that)

The shorts are a 4t2 conversion, the top is basegame textures edited, the boots are... I don't know, they're on the pantsless bottoms directory though. The garters and choker are from f-louri. The ears are Gryning's Werewolf ears, and the tail is the fluffy tail from this set.

I wasn't too happy with the options of purple for the hairs, so I tried my best... the two hairs are her regular hair and the hair in her magical girl form from the 2022 series. The colors are from DigitalAngels, Pooklet, and Poppet (as opposed to just being Pooklet like mine normally are).
