11. What do you know now about rp that you wish you knew when you first started? / 36. What’s one thing that other people seem to hate that doesn’t bother you?

11. I wish I had wizened up to the fact that you have just as much right to enjoy your own blog as someone has to enjoy theirs. That its not your responsibility to write with every single person who ever follows you/ write plots, threads, etc that are uncomfortable for you. If I could go back to 23 year old me I'd tell him that it's not necessary to set up high bars of expectation for yourself. It's tumblr rp, taylor. It's not the end of the world if someone gets angry/disappointed by your boundaries. Stick with the people who love and appreciate you for you and don't worry about fitting into this online persona that is a false representation of who you are - it's exhausting and the more followers you gain from it, the worse you feel. I still stand by the fact that the bigger your number of followers, the lonelier it feels sometimes. You fall into this hole of 'well all of these people think im this certain way, i can't let them down." - I wish I could go back and tell myself to say screw it and leave those people and that blog behind even sooner than I did. I have so many writing partners from the early days of Killian that are still around, and I wish I could show that to my younger self. 23 year old me deserved to know that being authentic and running the risk of no longer being "popular" was was totally worth it and that finally doing it was going to be the biggest breath of freedom ever.

36. To be honest, I might get a lot of flack/lose followers for this - but I'm just gonna say it. The idea that you can't use certain faceclaims for muses. Abuse, murder, sexual harassment, homophobia, racism - valid reasons to not want someone on your dash. A mistaken tweet, a comment in an interview possibly taken the wrong way - celebrities etc are under so much scrutiny. I have said some things that were less than stellar in my life, I have made mistakes and educated myself afterwards and I've moved on a more knowledgeable and aware person. For example, I think Thomas Doherty got a lot of flack earlier this year or last year and I looked it up trying to figure out why - and all I could find was a mental health comment he made that was literally something I tell myself every day. And something I've voiced to others close to me. And the argument that I don't understand what it's like is invalid in my case because trust me, mates. Despite online appearances, I spend 98% of my time in the darkness and living in denial about it. I'm very much a fake it until you make it kind of person. To a certain extent you do have control of your emotions and reactions. You can't rely on just medication. That was beaten into my head during therapy and honestly, believing it and striving for it has helped me a lot. He spoke his opinion and people freaked out. Granted, maybe i'm wrong and that was just one thing he did and the main thing was worse?? I don't know. I digress but my point is - You don't want certain faceclaims on your dash, I get it. That's your prerogative. But I'm not tagging every faceclaim any time I reblog something. I tend to avoid the issue by just not reblogging anything that's not directly related to killian/colin or one of my writing partners.

until i did a full series rewatch just before s4 i had legit forgotten the zit plot existed because i only ever watched 3x07 for the r/n scenes for which i had memorised the time stamps djhjfh

sarah and i love to fast forward through the josh zit plot when we watch that episode! it’s a superior viewing experience! (though i do love the concluding scene between josh and heather and will occasionally supplement that in)

oh my gosh this makes me so happy :( it’s what they deserve !! i will continue to make more vmin compilations, i can assure you that 😤 honestly i always have comp ideas for them in my head lsk;djhjfh (i have one right now that i will probably start working on once this week is over and uni lets me breathe and gif without feeling guilty) but anyways aaah thank you for this message ;;;;;
